This place is amazing!! I have been going here for about 8 months off and on and they never fail to satisfy! Kasey did my nails 2 1/2 weeks ago for my wedding day and the photographer loved them so much she made sure to showcase them in my photos!!They pay very close attention to detail and accommodate even challenging work. Even with that attention to detail, they dont slow around. I have never had a poor experience!Thank you, Kasey, for making my wedding day special!

It was just okay I initially gave them a 3 when they sent a follow-up text after my visit thinking management would reach out after explaining my experience but they never did. Im big on customer service so now they get a 2. My nail tech was a man and he filed my fingers more than my nails! Some of my fingers were sore a few days after. I also asked for matte finish twice and still got a gloss top. I wont be back.Edit 9.7.21Well I did indeed go back and give them another try. There were so many good reviews I tried again and was absolutely happy I did. Casey did an amazing job on my bday nails they were perfect! Everyone deserves a second chance!❤

I just had my first visit here and had a great experience. When I arrived, the salon was packed with people, but I didnt wait more than 5 minutes to be seated. The nail tech was so sweet and did a fantastic job. The owner was extremely nice as well when he greeted me and as I left the salon. I will definitely be coming back.

This nail salon took wonderful care of my nails. Everyone is very nice. They took me right away. Paul did a great job on my cuticles and my polish came out perfect. I look forward to my return every 2 weeks.

Scheduled an appointment online for Gel manicure. The polish is chunky, and this is what my nails looked like when I got home. It was a rush service. My appointment was scheduled at 6 and they didn’t start my service until 7pm. Really disappointed in the quality of my gel nails. It looks like my 9 year old painted my nails.

This is still the best nail salon in town. I had stopped coming here simply due to proximity to my house, and I regret not coming here right away. I came in today because I was treated horribly at another nail salon and they did an awful marble job that looked more like sloppy zebra prints than marble, did not apologize, and made me pay a ridiculous upcharge. Team here took care of me and fixed my nails right away with a great marble print. Not only is their work excellent, their prices are fair, they are fast and efficient, and their care for customers is incredible. Thank you so much again!

Ive been coming to this place for over a year for gel manicure and pedicure and look forward to it every time. The place is super clean and the staff are so friendly. There are lots of colors and design options to choose from and the staff is very open about discussing it with you.

My first time here and it wont be my last. Finally found a place I like and it is consistent. Its been a week and everything still looks polished. I am very pleased with the owner she is a great pedicurist. I will be back to see her every time .

I stopped by the salon at 6:30 after seeing that they didn’t close until 7:30. I told them I wanted a gel polish, which shouldn’t take long, I had nothing on my nails and didn’t need a full manicure. All they did was look at me and say they didn’t have time for that tonight and to come back tomorrow. I was very irritated as I drove in traffic and it was pouring rain on my only free evening to get it done. They didn’t ask me to wait or if I’d even be able to do the next day, (which I couldn’t), no apologies either. I can expect this if I came in at 7:00 or later but it was a whole hour before closing, seems ridiculous not to have been able to squeeze me in.

I love this place. Kristen is my girl. I mainly get just a regular manicure because I dont like how gel makes my nails feel afterward. It seems like most nail technicians have forgotten how to paint a non-gel nail. This is why I love going to Kristen because she makes my regular manicure look like I have on gel.The salon is taking all safety measures to keep their staff and customers safe. They have the screens for when you get your manicure and pedicure. They wipe down every seat and counter after each customer. I really appreciate them!

I am new to the Area so I was nervous about finding a place that was as good as my nail techs back home. I found this spot on the way to the mall and figured I would try it out. They did a full gel set and a pedicure. My tech was extra sweet and very funny. She works fast but very clean and professional work. My nails look gorgeous. I cant wait to go back!

I usually get ‘regular’ gel polish and am pretty satisfied with it. However, I decided to go with the SNS nail dip kind of polish and it is amazing! My nails are basically indestructible! The polish looks just as great a week later as they did the minute it was done. I’m hooked. I usually break a nail trying to do the simplest things like; opening doors.

Horrible service!!!!!!! The person assigned to do my nails would only work on my feet in an uncomfortable position, diluted the polish, put on one sloppy coat and no top coat. She did the same poor work on my hands. When I complained to the manager she said it was my fault!!!!!!DO NOT GO TO THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worst experience ever. I came to have my gel remove and they put everyone infront of me for more expensive service. I was in the chair with my nails wrap in aluminum foil for a longtime. Did not even apologize. They even put a girl to try to remove it that it was obvious that did not had a clue how to do it. So unprofessional. My nails where left so bad . Never go thereResponse to the owner response:I totally understand where you are coming from BUT is not my first time having that procedure done. This time it did not took 15-20 min, it took 1 hour and my nails were burning. The person that came to check was not an expert technician because she did not even knew what instrument to use and she needed explanation how to check and which one to use.

Loved the service, the place is busy, but you never feel rushed or not taken care of. they did a wonderful job. Price are reasonable, totally worth it. The parking which is a major plus for the area. Will definitely be back.

Ultra Nail Bar is my favorite nail salon in Charlotte. Of all the times I have visited (which is many), I have never been disappointed. Not only is their salon beautiful, but it is incredibly clean too. I love the concept of sitting at the bar to get your nails done. The drinks are also a nice touch - mimosa anyone? With friendly staff, competitive pricing, and quality products, I wont go anywhere else.

NEVER GO HERE FOR DESIGNS!!! I went to this salon hoping to find a place I could regularly go to for nail designs. The pictures online seemed promising. I get SNS done almost every 2 weeks, which overtime, adds up. The nail design I received at this salon peeled the same day just before I left out of town for thanksgiving and the whole time, my nails looks so messed up!!! As soon as the store opened after the holidays, I reached out to the manager and I wanted my money back for the design at least and they said to come in to discuss everything. When I went back in the store, they refused to refund me at least for the designs and even ARGUED with me! The did not even apologize for the poor service!!The manager and the nail tech continued to argue with me because they didn’t want to refund me the money for a poor job. I spent so much money there, and particularly for designs which were for the holiday and were a waste because they peeled off. They should treat the customer much better than that if they want customer loyalty! In addition, I got a design done on my toes and the design peeled in 5 days. I will never come here again and they definitely lost a customer!

I am new to the area and looked here for reviews. My first visit owner was just as everyone stated! She took her time, she was pleasant, and I was able to get in a bit earlier than my appointment. Ill be back. Keep up the great customer service!

Made an appointment for 9:30am for my sister to get a pedicure and for me to get a gel manicure. My sister was helped right away and they wrapped my nails to soak the preexisting gel polish off. It wasn’t until 10:20 that they removed them and I was helped. The woman who did my sister’s pedicure noticed that I was waiting around for a long time so she took it upon herself to do my manicure. Even though it seemed like she wasn’t used to doing manicures, she did an awesome job and I love how it turned out. If I could give Quin a rating of 5 stars I would. As far as the whole experience goes, it seemed just a little disorganized.

When you are at a place of business sitting for over an hour waiting for service and someone walks in without an appointment and they are serviced before you it makes you feel some type of way....this is not acceptable I probably wont go back...Its bad because I really liked them.......ijs

Previously amazing place, used to frequent. Bad experience today. Made 2 appointments, 15 minutes after appt time we were seated and left to sit in cold water for 15 minutes and then told 5 minutes and someone would be with us.No apologies, no offer of a drink, no communication at all. None.Was there for mani-pedi and decided against staying any longer than needed.The service itself was just ok for an upgraded pedi. The whole experience was poor and unprofessional.

During the corona season, I was searching for many nail salons because the translation was closed, and I found Ultra Nail Bar.The hostess is super friendly and helpful. My nail tech did a great job and my nails. I will definitely be going back. They took their time. The guy who did my pedicure was very thorough and sweet. The place was very clean. I heard them offer drinks to other customers however I was never offered a drink of any sort. Overall, i would definitely go back

I bring my elderly, immobile parents here for pedicures and they are very gentle, compassionate, and helpful getting them settled into the chairs. Staff is very caring. They do great mani/pedis. Being in healthcare I notice how clean the place is and all the steps they take to keep their customers safe during COVID.

This is my go to place. The online booking system is quick and efficient. The owner is SO warm and welcoming to me and all of the other customers. Its big, bright and they have a decent selection of regular colors and a TON of dip powder colors. I havent had dip powder since late feb (and will again eventually) but I finally was feeling brave enough to venture out for a beauty service a week or so ago and got a much needed pedi. My tech did a fantastic job and scrubbing and rubbing my toes back to an acceptable state. Techs were wearing masks, you have to sanitize before picking a nail color, theres new plexi separators at the nail stations and customers were spaced out. Give them a try!

Great nail salon! All the technicians there are wonderful! They offer a wide variety of colors for regular nail polish, gel nail polish and the powder dip polish. I have been going to them since they first opened up. They are great!

Im extremely picky and Ive been across 50 states getting my nails done. A lady named Christine did my nails here a few weeks ago, and they are the best Ive ever had. They use quality products and she used a new/unused nail filer, major Key!My new salon!

The artist I had was super fast and efficient! I just got a fill in, but I also asked her to reshape my nails. She was very precise and made sure my nails were all the same length and shape. They look beautiful! I definitely will be returninf.

I would only go back if I were in a pinch in the middle of the day. I went in 90 minutes before closing time for an acrylic fill and gel polish. I was greeted immediately by the hostess and told her I wanted mood changing polish. She said they didnt have that kind but I went ahead with a male technician who was ready to begin. After waiting for a few minutes to start, he offered me water or a mixed drink.There is an actual bar in the salon.I asked the tech about the nail polish I requested earlier and he immediately found the swatch with the polish colors. I chose my color while he applied the acrylic. He seemed hurried and the acrylic didnt go all the way to bottom of my nail bed and the acrylic seemed thin. I only bring that up because my nail broke a week and half later when I was putting on lotion. (Last pic)After applying the polish to one nail, he had to add something to it because the color wouldnt come out right. After the standard gel drying time a few nails were sticky and not dry. I let them know and was reluctantly given a new top coat and more drying time. All this happened within 30 min of closing time and my nails were not all dry when I left.While the end result was temporarilt beautiful, the care and customer service felt forced.

I have been going here for years, since it 1st opened. Since the Pandemic I went there for the 1st time right after they opened. Absolutely Awesome!!! As always customer service on point, I had an appointment so I got seen right away. The guy was absolutely hilarious that did my pedicure. Loved it, didnt even take an hour. The price was a bit higher than usual. I noticed a COVID-19 surcharge on my bill, says for cleaning purposes. I got a basic pedicure with gel polish. It was like almost $45 with surcharge not including tip. I wasnt happy about that but great, clean nice environment.

Place is very clean and are making sure all the necessary COVID-19 protocols are in place! (Temperature check, masks) I did a gel mani and a spa pedicure and it was great! Will definitely be back. (Hand modeling is not my strength but loved my mani! LOL)

So let me start by saying Im very picky about my nails. Ive been going to the same one person for my manicures and a different salon for my pedicures for the last 8 years. Since the nail salons near by were closed, I went to this place and was in desperate need of a mani pedi. I came across on Google and was referred by 2 other people, and I couldnt have been happier when I left.

Was seen for SNS. Lots of colors to choose from. Clean and friendly.

Had a great ladies night experience here. Sanitary, professional and friendly. Did my nails exactly how I wanted them.

This is my go to in Charlotte. I have a few staff members who are my absolute favorite, but everyone does a nice job. If there are ever issues, i just ask them to adjust (whether shaping or an extra coat of polish) and they always accommodate. Selection is the best and the wait isnt bad, and easy to reserve.

This is a relaxing Spa experience with a very beautiful professional environment, and the way their staff serve me is very thoughtful and dedicated. From experience I have experienced many places and this is the best place. And they did a lovely job on my nails. I think if everyone has experienced this place, they should give them a compliment. GREAT.

I arrived 15 minutes before close and the owner of the business was amazing and went ahead and did my pedicure. She didnt act rushed and gave a great foot massage! I love the decorations inside and was very happy with the way my toes turned out. I will definitely be returning in the future!

The atmosphere is very peaceful. Very friendly staff. They even have a reward program for you to earn points for every dollar spent on cash payments. I have come to this place and the way they serve so enthusiastically they have treated me to drink wine in the meantime. and I feel this place is right for me. and Ill be back soon. Update: it’s been a few months and I kept getting contacted by management to come back so I have tried a couple more times, this time was the last. I got a manicure and pedicure on 7/18 and, while the pedicure was great if painful at least it ended looking good, my manicure is terrible. My cuticles weren’t split when I arrived but they sure are now. The woman doing my nails destroyed them and caused me to bleed in a few places on one hand and I’m having to treat them with antibiotic cream to try to get them to heal fast since I got them done for an event this weekend. That’s besides the fact the I had to shape the ends when I left. It was a total waste of money.I would also like management to stop emailing and texting me; unless you are going to refund the money for my manicure, I do not care what offers you have for me.I’m not one to make a scene because it doesn’t really accomplish anything but I won’t be going back. This place was great when it first opened but now they don’t seem to care about quality at all.Original: I was going to Ultra every two to three weeks to get gel color for over a year until 2 months ago. I am familiar with most of the staff and Chloe usually does my nails but the last 3 visits (2 gel, 1 SNS dip) she rushed through the process leaving my skin stained with the dip for a week, nails misshapen and I ended up losing at least one nail covering in a week all three times. I kept going back because I love how long the color stays on with gel but now it seems to be a waste of time and money. It seems that the more popular they get, the less they focus on service because it felt as if she was rushing because she was being rushed by someone else. I get my nails done not just for the end result but also for the relaxing experience of having them done but that is no longer the case here. I hate to say it but I’ll have to find another nail place (of which there are many) in Ballantyne.
