I didnt want to give this review. I called and went to the salon to give them a chance to correct the error before I said anything. During my visit on Thursday, the technician Rita had a gruff disposition. Even though I was there to get pampered, I found myself trying lighten her mood. I figured it was just her temperament or a bad day. I went there for a pedicure and full nail set. After my nail set, I knew I did want to prolong this experience and canceled the pedicure. I paid upfront and tipped well.By Tuesday, my nails were lifting and I noticed the surface was lumpy and uneven. I wanted to give Rita a chance to correct my nails and made an appointment for Wednesday. I was met with the same bad attitude and negativity. Ultimately, I left because I didnt want to argue about service quality. It is probably their standard and thats ok, but I wont go again. The attitude was worse than the nail job. Never again!!!

I was recently enjoying a fill in, as a very loyal customer, having a casual conversation with my nail technician. During this conversation, another customer, who was clearly under the influence, verbally attacked me. She physically got in my face 3 times and threatened me. I was startled and confused as no one attempted to intervene or assist me in this incident. I know as a business they cannot turn away paying customers but there is a level of service standards that the company should uphold. In addition to the lack of help, i did not any apologies with regards to this matter. The owner did call the following day, but was calling on behalf of the nail tech as i was too upset to pay the additional $20. I paid the deposit and a $10 tip just so i was able to make it out of the salon. I do not recommend this location as i am afraid to go back. This is truly upsetting as i have been a customer for over 5 years. Jenny I am glad you can count to 5 unfortunately you have several problems in your salon and absolutely NO tact! You should be happy Rita knows how to take care of business. She is the only one who knew what to do when you have an issue. Good luck in your nail career as I have found a salon that has been amazing to me.

I absolutely loveeee this nail shop! The photo your seeing below is what my nails look like after 4 weeks. 4 week?! They have something called Vital Gel that stays on for a long period of time and trust me its amazing. Ive never had ALL my nails stay on for 4 weeks, no chips, cracks nothing.This place is awesome. Im currently in the parking lot about to walk in for a fill in lol! But I wanted to share this awesome product called Vital Gel they have and I encourage any person who wants there nails to stay on for a long period of time to try this product!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

I have been coming here for atleast 6 years now. Love all the techs Jenny the owner is awesome she is skilled with all the serious artistic stuff. Also Kevin in a Master technician there I love love love him.

Ive been serviced here for years. I went from regular gel manis to dip powder to vital gel. I usually dont have any issues. When I do, its usually something like a stone or design came off; its fixed right away.

I specifically showed the nail tech of the nails I wanted and this is what I received. I payed $60 for this set. The environment of the shop was great, but will never attend again because of the result of my nails. ( First Photo is what I received, Second photo is what I requested.)

I went and got my nails done here a few days ago and the first time I got it done it wasn’t what I wanted and also peeled because of so many layers of paint. So I came back and Jenny redid my entire set for me at no charge. But she also was nice enough to explain to me the process of doing nails and what materials can do each style because the idea I had wasn’t the best option. I will go back here and work with Jenny or Rita.

I returned to this location because my husband and I received such good hospitality, and quality work getting pedicures before. Kevin provided my service.. he did such an awesome job. today was interesting however, I made an appointment to receive nail soak off, eyelashes and full set for my friend. It was a mix-up but it was squared away in no time. Social distancing is what made me provide 4 stars. Everyone else was a station away from each other. My nail tech sat someone RIGHT next to me. For all of that you could have placed my friend next to me instead. Also im a huge fan of eye extensions, however after I received them today unsure if I will try again at this place. They are to full, not natural looking at all. At least 1hr after service my eyes were still itching badly. I lost a few clusters 🤦‍♀️ as well.

I came in today to get both s manicure and a pedicure. Rita was my nail technician and she did a fabulous job removing a very ugly manicure I got done at another nail salonShe was very kind and her work was impecable. Definitely going back.

I recently visited this establishment for a manicure and pedicure. Once my pedicure was finished, I sat in the manicure chair. I was asked three times if I could afford the manicure service (Gel nails, design on four fingers) and that it was going to be expensive. Each of the three times, I told the nail tech that I was fine paying and I was comfortable with it. Still they continued to imply that I couldn’t pay for it, this was unprofessional and incredibly disrespectful. In the end, another nail tech finished my service and I paid for the full service. I really hope my tip goes to the person who finished my nails, his name was Kevin. He was sweet and talented. but I won’t be coming back here.

I use to get my nails done here but this last experience was terrible.

As a first time customer after my first service I signed up with Sky Bars reward program. Not only did I earn points to use towards future services, I was given a $10 off discount to use at my next visit. Everyone who helped me was nice and professional. Im super happy with my nails and will definitely be coming back in a few weeks.

Well between the color off and nails not the same shape... And then a nail came loose 3 days after being done! This is not acceptable! A definitely no go!

I was asked if I wanted gel or regular polish for pedicure. I made it known that I never used gel polish before and asked what the difference was. I was told gel was better but NEVER told it was a $15 difference in price. This should have be said when I asked what the difference was. My daughter had a polish change ONLY on her toes and was charged $28. No pedicure just polish change. Dishonest customer service practices and Totally over priced ! Buyer beware!

A little pricey but worth it. They took sure great care with me. I had asked for a nail design that hadnt been done there before, but after I was able to show the tech a pic, he was clear on what I wanted. I havent been able to find a nail salon with gel powder nails like I went to in California so this is a great find! Gel powder with gel polish?! I LOVE MY NAILS!

Even though I make a appointment with Jenny she is always not on time always got to wait 30 min to 1hour even with w appointment and then she calls me to change my appointment Everytime and then requires a deposit of $20 when I show her a design she never can do it as shown she do what she want and her products a poor quality my gell paint peeled off the gel full sent peeled off and I payed 80 for something I did not ask for what she wanted to do she charged me according to her style and her idea and she did not have the stickers I wanted so she made up her own style then over charge mei would post pictures of her work but I dont know how to Jenny is one of the few workers there she is consider the boss working her self she is always booked cause she dont have workers that work for her except mia and Chinese man everything I said is the truth she is never on time for her appointment and sometimes call to change your appointment time I would never go to salon again she was so over booked she told me to go to mia and mia was very rude asking me to leave her chair cause she has a appointment waiting and Im not her appointment Im Jennys

Went in for a pedicure came out with no big toenails! Mia was so nice to attempt to fix them but the damage was already done. I didn’t get the name of the lady that did my nails because she didn’t speak any English nor could she see. My old toe nail polish was never removed and she attempted to put the new polish over it. I have never had to voice my dislike at a nail salon but I had to today. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Huge downgrade from when it was first opened. Very very disappointed!

I wont get S&S there again. I got it done on Friday it was coming off by Sunday. Got it repaired free of charge and it came off the next day. Waste of time and money. 6 out of 10 nails are chipping.

I had patronized this salon maybe 3x over the past 3 years, the first 2x with high satisfaction, always gel polish, no manicure as my nails and cuticles are very healthy. Why gel? No breakage for 2+ weeks, and my job can be hard on em.Before leaving for my vacation a couple weeks ago, I went in for a particular gel look: black and gold gel polish, coffin nail shape of my own natural nails. After 2 hours (never had gel polish take so long), $40, and showing 3 techs a picture of how I wanted them, my nails resulted in a somewhat similar style and shape to the picture. I get it- they didnt have gold stones for the particular design I wished for, and my nails didnt really look coffin shaped but more square, but they looked passable. The 3rd tech who did the design somehow managed to remove the luster from the ring finger after her second attempt on the design (nothing more than a gold glitter swoop), and didnt file off the excess gel from the design on the other hand.I had several errands to run before picking up someone from the airport and the techs were nice, so I didnt complain. Plus they offer free drinks, so I had a margarita during my visit. Not utterly terrible.But.Less than a week later, both index fingers and thumb nails had split at the base. I reiterate: I was on vacation, doing nothing more than changing clothes multiple times each day, etc. No chores, no cleaning, and even during my typical day to day routine while working, Ive never in over 10 years of getting gel polish on my own natural nails, EVER had any break. Then to have 4 break within a weeks time? Bizarre.I tested my remaining nails- they were far too flexible when typically my gelled nails can free me from a glass prison.After a few successful visits long ago, this most recent unsuccessful trip will keep me away.

The salon is beautiful. The people smile and are friendly. The workers complete the service in an excellent consistent manner. I was offered a drink and made to feel welcome. They were busy and short staffed, so I waited way longer than Im used to for a gel mani and pedicure. The thing that made me deduct one star is the failure to use the LED light for my pedicure. After sitting about 30 minutes my nails were not cured. I was out shopping and someone clipped me on the way into the store causing a tiny nick in my polish. This never happens when I have the feet light. The gel manicure is guaranteed only one week. Sadly, mine began chipping on day 8. Honestly, Im used to a minimum of two weeks for such an expensive polish process.

PLEASE PLEASE READ!I am so disgusted with how I was treated a Sky Nail Bar within the past two days of them ruining/having to fix my nails. Normally when I visit this nail salon, I spend anywhere from $40-$60, I tip them very well, and leave quite satisfied with their services. However, yesterday I had my nails done by an older lady. I requested to have ombre nails done with a white tip (which is $60). Not only did the lady do a HORRIBLE job, it took her 2 hours to complete. She did not know what she was doing, because she kept asking to see a picture as a reference to do the nails. After she finished applying the acrylic, she asked me to go and wash my hands. I then realized that there was clumps of acrylic stuck underneath my nails. When I showed her the excessive acrylic under my nails, she stated I am sorry but I could not see. (She was wearing glasses, so I wasnt quite sure how she could not see where she messed up). The pictures I uploaded to this review is how my nails looked after she fixed it. She also did a horrible job of blending the ombre colors. Normally, the pink color is suppose to blend into the white, at the finger tips of where your real nail would be. She also applied way too much pink. I wanted it to look natural. The older lady knew that she was wrong for how my nails looked, because she didnt charge me to have my cuticles cut or for the length of the nails (which was an extra $10). So I decided to leave an awful review once I got home. (This is my second time rewriting this, because I was black mailed into deleting it in order to get my nails fixed). The manager, Jenny, writes responses to these reviews stating to call her so that she can resolve the issue. But my issue was NOT resolve. Jenny told to me to call her today, and over the phone she stated that she would fix my nails, but I had to promise her that I would delete the review I had already posted. As I was driving to the nail salon for the appointment we had already scheduled prior, she stated that she would not be able to make it to the nail salon in time, due to a family emergency. I was TOTALLY fine with that. She told me that there would be man named Devin waiting on me to do my nails, and that he had experience with doing ombre nails as well. I get to the nail salon and he begins taking my fresh set of nails off with nail clippers. He then used a plastic nail to slide up underneath the acrylic nail and popped almost half of my real nail off. My nail then started to BLEED!! He still insisted on taking the nails off and redoing them. I had to call the manager and tell her that I did not want their services anymore, and had to BEG for my money back. She stated that she was on the way to nail salon, to resolve the issue but she had JUST told me she was dealing with a family emergency. FINALLY they gave me my money back, however, they stated they could not offer me anymore services (including finishing the removal of my nails), due to the refund. I told them I was never coming back anyways, and that I was going to REPOST this review. And here I am, back at square one, with a ripped off pinky nail. I ended up leaving and had to go to the Walmart nail salon to have them finish soaking off the nails.

Very unhappy with the service I got here. Paid $50 for SNS manicure. She made them way too think and did not shape my nails at all. Needless to say, I will not be back.

Paid 55$ for a full set & then the next two days I had 4 nails come off . Won’t be coming back overpriced and bad .

First time to nail salon since covid 19 started, service was great as usual. Salon is clean and serene. They practice social distancing and everyone wears a mask. My Temperature was taking upon arrival. As a Nurse I truly respect their efforts in keeping their client and employees safe. Great service. Will come again.

Very clean and beautiful salon. I had an appointment at 5:45. For starters, they didnt get started on my feet until about 6:45. The pedicure itself was good. Phil did a good job with that part but, the paint job was horrible!!! I had to tell him that the paint was too thick and asked him to put a little bit of thinner in it. I also had to ask him to clean up the paint around my toes🙄. I had been to them before but, tried to give them another chance. I wont be going back. Thanks but, no thanks.

This place is great. Ive been to several nail salons in the area and this one is by far the most hygienic. It smells so clean and feels so pleasant in there. I always get my acrylics refilled and gel polish applied by Jenny, who is an extremely talented nail tech. Shes very thorough and careful in her work and I always come out with great nails. There are a few nail techs there whose work I wasnt pleased with, but thats the case for every nail salon, you just have to try different nail techs until you find one that you like. Then you can always ask for that specific person. So I dont think that the bad reviews of this place are necessarily fair. And just because some of the nail techs dont speak English very well doesnt mean anything, theres always another worker that can translate, just give them a chance and let them do their jobs. Youll be pleasantly surprised with how good the results are!

I went there twice. The first time was not the best so I decided to give them another try. First the technician never asked what kind of manicure and pedicure I wanted she just went to work. I am used to leaving feeling relaxed and clean when I get a manicure and pedicure. This was not the case. It felt rushed and I got sliced on two of my fingernails and had scuff marks on all of them! I have never had scuff marks left after a manicure.

Ive been to this place twice and keep getting disappointed. My nails look like a child painted them or Ive had them for three weeks. What a waste of Money again!!!

I went to Sky Nail (at this point, 2-3weeks ago), I originally asked for a soak off and a over lay on my nateural nails that were growing & and one nail repair. At the time they had a Caucasian receptionist, she Understood EXACTLY what I wanted and tried to consult with the manager, Jenny, if this could be done. After going back and forth about it they stated they could do a fillin with nail repair. I paid. I left. A week later the Left pinky pops off at the base almost splitting my natural nail. 5$ repair and color change 10$. Cool. The next day, left ring finger pops off... got that repaired. Then LITERALLY THAT SAME NIGHT the right middle cracks off! By that Sunday the right thumb popped completely off- mind u it’s only been a week since the initial request/recent fill-in.At this point I’m up to 20$ or so in repairs, when I paid up to 20 or so to get the fill-in and nail repair. I waited for more that 20 mins appt or not to get this repaired. The last encounter, Jenny advised me to come back at 330 (I even asked to be sure if an apt was needed... she said no come back at 330) for one of the repairs and I came back and waited for more than 20 mins and still not ready.i was presented the manager phone number, gave my compliant and received NO call back!!! I go back early one morning and the manager was called and I still had to pay 4$ for a repair when I had got them done (again at that time ) a week ago prior!Ladies if you are a basic 2 color or less, acrylic or short gel consumer! DO NOT GO HERE! From the patronizing, the constant up sales thru your visit, long waits, and no accountability it’s best that you save your money and go else where or keep the numbs on your hands.

First timer here... beautiful and clean. However, the older gentleman that did my nails, I will not go back to. I literally had to redo my nails when I got home. When he was done with my nails, he had me dry them in front of a little fan. Then he left and started on another customer. I wasn’t told to go under the UV light, didn’t even know if they had one or where it was. The amount of polish he used made drying very difficult. So it was smeared by the time I got home. I wasn’t offered any beverages unlike other patrons. And since this was my first time I didn’t know what to expect. Dissatisfied. And I get they weren’t super busy, but walking in seeing multiple techs asleep in the massage chairs, one picking her nose to no end, was a huge turn off.

Positives: the decor of the salon is stylish. Aesthetically pleasant.Service did not start on time but thats mininal especially given the current covid-19 situation. I was just happy to get a pedicure. I chose the deluxe. My tech barely scrubbed my feet. My toes were not cleaned properly. She was about to paint my toes when I realized she had not touched my heels. The paint job was poor because the nail polish was too thick and clumpy. Overall a foot wash and a wack paint job. There are better services out there. Dont waste your money like I did mine.

Months ago, I arrived with my party of 3 for our SCHEDULED appointments. Upon arrival I was told that I never made the appointment, which I did. We patiently waited to be seated as “walk in guests”. Once 2/3 of us were seated our pedicure water was freezing. When we mentioned this, only 1 of our pedicure baths had warm water added. 10 minutes later, 1 of us were asked if we wanted a drink. At that point, all 3 of us left. Owning a business, I’ll give anyone a second chance because I understand mistakes happen. I walked in tonight for my 6pm appointment and was told once again, that I never made the appointment. After showing the woman my call log with their phone number on it, did they attempt to make efforts to fit me in. I was appalled that as the customer I had to prove myself. Fooled me twice. I’ll never return or refer this spa.

EDIT 8/10–The quality and service has gone down. If you are wanting to get gel nails overlay do not come here! My nails didn’t even last ONE WEEK! Last time ever going there. Waste of money for sure! Beware! My initial review last was with acrylic nails and I stopped doing that because it was damaging my nails. If I could out zero stars I would———————————————————————————-Always the best! Great customer service and I will continue to come back to Sky anytime I need my nails done ❤️!

Overall anything that I am about to say this is a really nice salon, I love the setup and they have a nice staff. Which before coming here I read the reviews and that’s what most of them said. The reviews are very accurate. The only things about my experience I didn’t like is that my nails are not the same shape. My right hand looks beautiful and the shape is even. On my left hand all of the nails are uneven as if she rushed it, which makes me very disappointed. Secondly the polish is very spotty like the nail is not covered in polish all the way. My nail tech. did have to go over my nails about 3 times on each hand, which was fine but it still doesn’t look good. When she seen how many times she had to go over my nails maybe a new polish would have helped. The nail tech. even asked me if i wanted her to go over it a fourth time but the light is dimmed there so it actually looked fine! I really should have just examined my nails before leaving! Especially with this being my first time going here. Outside in the light my nails look a mess. Besides my hands my toes look beautiful, pedicure was great. 😊.REPLYING TO OWNER RESPONSE:You are welcome and thank you for your time. I honestly don’t see what your staff members language and/or how well they can understand or speak English has to do with the shape of my nail or how well the color is fine. She understood me clearly, we even had a conversation together and her understanding and responses sound pretty good to me and I could understand her as well. Her communication has nothing to do with what’s wrong about my nails. What someone would most likely rather is to be told to come in and get their nails fixed but I have to wait until my next visit. Just great.

Jenny is truly a professional person with an inspiring story of how she entered the nail tech business. Really in love with my crystal nails and I’ve been to a lot of nail techs who are at the top of their game from SF to NYC💅🏽💅🏽 She really hooked a sista up! Thank you Jenny! This is my second visit and I am truly impressed with Sky Nail Bar. They provide quality service and they are really nice. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed. Beverages are provided. I got a pedicure and Kim did an excellent job! She was a professional. I truly recommend Sky Nail Bar. You wont be disappointed!

Was Too over priced, short staffed, and the nail art was awful. Spent four hours there, and left disappointed. It had cost 120 dollars when most places charge half that price, for the manicure, and pedicure. Had given me a technician who didnt know how to do nail art telling, and didnt tell me that he didnt know how to until after. They had me make a let for what i had wanted to get done, and had mixed up the lets, and given me the wrong manicure, and polish which was price more than the one i had asked for. Would not recommend. When I had left a review on their Facebook page the manager had argued with me, and had stopped responding when I mentioned all the mix ups. Maybe I had should have told them how unhappy I was with experience, but after being there for four hours I just wanted, and had to leave.

Horrible service .. I asked for one marble nail in grey black and white and silver sparkles showed a picture too... she did green black and white with gold sparkles... I told her I didn’t like green and why did she do it like that she said it makes it pop and it’s fine .. I complained up front and the lady said we could get it fixed . I went to another lady with a rude attitude and not gentle on the hands at all said she can’t do the marble so I said ok a regular color. Went back up front the other lady started yelling at me asking me why didn’t I tell her I didn’t like it. They still tried to charge me the same price as if it was my fault the First Lady messed up. The lady upfront said the owner was mad she took $5 off for me. I realized when I got in the car that what she fixed looked like she put her own nails/fingers in the paint on my nail before putting me under the light. The shape was too thick and the top was uneven and too thick as well. When I asked for a second glass of wine earlier the lady said rudely are you driving ... spent well over 2 hours there on my birthday ... horrible way to start it.

Im new to the area and tried a couple places before I found this one. What a pleasure it was to have my nails done here. The staff are completely friendly. And really works hard to accommodate all their customers. Overall, amazing product, and even better prices. Definitely coming back!

Dont believe the hype!! Been here a couple times, for fill in & 2 pedicures. Trying to give benefit of the doubt, Began coming here hoping for good reviews but I havent had a great experience yet!! Ive had the typical inexperienced staff assigned to you when you dont have an appointment. Today Im in for a pedicure and been in the chair over an hour. The 19 min timer on the massage chair went off 20 min ago and my foot water is now cold. Someone came over to do me, and she dropped all the tools, then sprayed water from the hose everywhere. When I asked politely to wait for someone more experienced, I had an even longer wait - as if I shouldnt have said anything... I went to cosmetology school myself and have yet to find a top notch salon providing services that I would provide and be proud of.... The woman who is doing me now is not even taking off all my skin shes doing my feet like Im a baby. I came to get my feet scrubbed! 😡 Every time I come here I regret it and its a waste of money! I need to spend more money going elsewhere for better service this place is not worth it... It is now 12:16 pm (2 hours later and Im still not satisfied but have no more time to waste!!). The polish was better than the pedicure I shouldve gotten polish change and scribbled my feet at home!!!

I enjoy going to this Salon. The Nail Technicians are always friendly. Kevin is my nail tech and I am always pleased with my pedicure. He does a very good job. My feet still looks good after 1month. The polish is still shinning on my toes and is not chipped. My cuticles even look good. I highly recommend this Nail Salon to anyone that is looking for professionalism and good service.

Ive been coming for a few months. The owner is very nice and the nail tech Ms. Van makes it worth my time. They had a nail tech name Rosa who was fabulous but its now gone. Today I went in for a pedicure and the old mean guy short and fat with gray and white hair ( I was told its the owners father) was the one at the door. This dude is so rude that he makes going there a bad experience everytime. I really think hes a racists even though he makes his money doing a lot of women of color nails. Needless to say I will take business elsewhere. I wish the technician would be as kind as the owner. By the way Myself and 8 other are looking for another salon any recommendations?

First impression is a lasting impression. The nail tech wasn’t friendly at all she didn’t even introduce herself let along ask how I was doing. Mybe if I would have gotten services from Jenny the salon owner my experience would have been different, But unfortunately I didn’t and I will not be returning.

As soon as I walked in I remembered why I stop coming to sky nails, but hey I gave it another chance. The lady at the front desk seemed very confused. I walk in she ask what I wanted to get done, I tell her, she then tells me to sign in, I do. Then I sit down and wait, 5 mins pass and she comes by and ask me the same questions. Mind you it wasn’t busy at all, I’m not sure what that was about. Maybe she was under the influence, I witnessed another customer experience the same thing. We were both very confused. That right away rubbed the wrong way. So finally I get seated at the pedicure chair. The lady doing my pedicure started setting up water and everything, she puts in this this piece to the tub (not sure if it’s purpose).Then I seen white things floating in the fresh water, I believe it was skin maybe from a past client. I say something about it and ask for a clean piece and water . I honestly don’t believe it was cleaned properly. Of course because I say something, I get a attitude for the rest of my appointment. Honestly I should have left and I regret not doing so. That being said I feel as though my pedicure was not up to part because I spoke up. I would not recommend anyone to this place.In response to the owner-I guess I shouldnt have given your establishment another chance. Your response is a the perfect example of poor customer service. I had to clear some things up so people understand this isnt a exaggeration of what happened.1.I wasnt speaking about your receptionist knowledge of nails, just the fact that she seemed to be under the influence. She was confused and kept asking the same questions to multiple clients, and when I say same questions they werent about nails. Just the common questions like what are you here for?, Did you sign in?. It was making not only myself but your other guest uncomfortable.2.Lint????For me to assume it was SKIN (besides the fact that it LOOKED LIKE SKIN) was because I never seen her get a CLEAN attachment. Mind you she had just finished a pedicure on another guest . For you to say it was lint, when I seen it with my eyes, there was no way. I know what lint looks like. Also you, Jenny, the owner didnt really look. You brushed me off as soon as I said something. Started talking over me when I tried to explain what I seen in the water, then walked away like everything was fine. (Jenny was not the tech doing the pedicure)3.I didnt come into your establishment with a bad attitude. I honestly just wanted a pedicure so I decided to try out your place again. Your response spoke volumes, and I will never be back or refer anyone to you. After being disrespected for speaking up and receiving a TERRIBLE pedicure that will not be a problem.Can I also add that the tech who did my pedicure said absolutely nothing to me when she finished. She just got up and started on the next person. That is incredibly rude. I was never disrespectful to her or anyone there. But no worries point taken.Good luck Jenny.

DO NOT let Reah anywhere near your eyebrows!! She was very unprofessional; she never introduced herself and was just plain RUDE from the start. I tried to show her a picture of my desired shape and she completely disregarded my request. She BUTCHERD my eyebrows; there was no kind shape to them and they were uneven. The manager had to fix her work, but even then, my brows were still left horribly mangled at the ends. I WILL NOT be back.

Sky nail is my new favorite place although I have been going for a while. It is clean, professional, they want you to leave happy with your service. Even if it is busy THEY DO NOT RUSH to get to the next person. Have an idea of what color you want because THEY HAVE A TON OF COLORS...you will be standing there all day trying to decide. Take advantage of the loyalty program. I have gotten several discounts and my next manicure will be almost FREE!!

5 stars for Kevin in the front. Im very picky and am always satisfied with the acrylics he does for me.

If your customers are not satisfied, you will lose them. It’s that simple. They will tell others about their experience and those people won’t come either. I try my best to stay calm and be respectful to people. There’s a lady that works there named Lin. She’s absolutely horrible. A persons language barrier has nothing to do with the line of work you do. Does she even have a license to do nails? I asked when I walked in “ can I soak my nails off” while getting my pedicure. Obviously so I don’t waste anymore time than I have to. I was told no. The two young girls that sit in the back, they only service their clients. They could be free and will not go to the customer waiting. If you know that your nail tech is not good in certain things, then she should NOT being doing them. This will avoid complaints. I should not have to tell a LICENSED nail tech to make sure she files my nails even. I try to give people a chance. I let the front desk lady know about my service and her response was “ we are working with her”. This front desk girl is young, inexperienced with people and quite unprofessional. She wears shirts while pregnant with her stomach out and flip flops. Your business looks to pretty to have ratchet front desk people. So you want your customers to have poor service and you know she is horrible? Why is she even working? She’s not trained! She does not even know the basic essentials. I have written a review to the BBB and have asked for them to audit the employees that are working. And not to mention I was even asked how my service was. Hire someone who takes pride in their work. Hire front desk who looks presentable and can talk professional. Money is not a problem for me. Whatever I want I get. There’s a $150 every two weeks you guys have lost. The first impression is the last.

Ive been coming here since 2006, enduring several management changes and I will have to say that this is the best its ever been. This is the only place Ill come to even after trying other nail shops. Its just the overall ambience of this place. They offer all types of beverages and services. Whats extremely important to me is that they are clean and sanitary. They use the disposable spa bags which Im surprised that a lot of other places do not. Prices have changed a bit but thats almost everywhere and if you have a customer account you receive discounts regularly. It does get crazy busy on the weekends and after work so I would suggest making an appointment or getting here early if possible. But I recommend Sky Spa & Nail.

I tried this place one time 2 years ago and I haven’t stopped coming ever since. Everyone I recommend to come here also loves it. I tell everyone to make sure they make an appointment though. Jenny is my usual go to and hasn’t let me down. Definitely recommend!

Scheduled a pedicure appointment for 11:30 and arrived at 11:25. They brought me to a chair around 11:40 (not bad) and then had me sit there for an hour before someone was available. By the time I left, I had been there for close to 2 hours. I asked if it was possible to receive a discount for having waited an HOUR past my appointment time, and they gave me 10%. My time is worth more than that. I will not be going back.

In town traveling for business. Called about 3 hours before they closed on sunday and was able to get an appointment an hour later. Showed up and they were ready for me right away and Sophia was my girl was friendly and helpful and I love Sophias manicure, very nice overall!

I went in today to get a gel pedicure and manicure. Within 15 min of leaving my nails were messed up. I called and said I would come back up there within the next 2 hrs. As i had a appt. I came back and the nail tech couldnt find the gel polish that i got 2 hrs prior so i had her paint 4 of my nails with glitter in regular polish and the rest in the solid color. They charged me for the full price of the gel again because they couldnt find the color they had 2 hrs prior. The girl at the front desk was very polite and understood however the owner or manager told her to charge me that much when I dad just been in there 2 hrs before. So POOR customer service from management. Ill never go back because they obviously only care about money and not satisfying the customers that keep them in business. To the lady that felt it was necessary to charge me extra, remember that your customers keep you in business so maybe you should learn how to treat your customers to keep them coming back.Not to mention the nail tech cut my skin twice causing it to bleed.My reply: The employee suggested that I pay $10 due to the fact that I only got half gel and its not my problem youre unorganized and couldnt locate it in the other color in gel. $10 was a fair price. However you choose to loose a customer over $5. I hope it was worth it to you when there is a nail salon on ever corner. You should be a step ahead of the next salon so people want to come back. Why was the gel an extra $15 when ONLY have of my nails were painted with gel? No worries!! Enjoy your $5.

Arrived for my 2:45 pedicure appointment and waited until 3:10 to get called back. The pedicure was probably the worst I ever had, but the polish job was ridiculous! After 34 minutes of the lady attempting to do French polish on my toenails, someone else finally had to step in, after noticing my frustration. I went there for convenience, but I’ll stick with my nail salon from now on, no matter how out of my way it may be. The salon could also be cleaner. The tools used on my feet were just laying in a random basket and not in any sanitary solution or box. I will not return.

They do great work on my nails

Theyve always done a good job on nails but recently I went it to get my eyebrows waxed. David has waxed my eyebrows countless times and has done a good job. He was out so someone else did them. She was in such a hurry to get back to the front desk she messed up my eyebrows horribly. One was way thinner than the other, she took my arch away and took off about a fourth of my eyebrow away. If your getting your nails done its worth trying but DONT get your eyebrows done here.

Got there at 11:30 to get a manicure and pedicure, left at 2:30 with only a pedicure. Jenny kept telling everyone about the benefits of alkaline water. Do more nails and less selling. One star because I cant give a none.

Thank God my nail tech Kim left there. She is the best, and Sky Nail Bar will not be the same with out her. Hopefully now she is at a place where her hard work and fabulous nails will be appreciated!! 🙌🏿🙌🏿❤❤

DO NOT GO!!!!!!!! I went to this establishment impressed that they seemed sanitary, however 2 weeks after getting my nails done I removed my polish and had fungus on almost all of my finger nails. When I called to express my concerns the response was WOW. Also they hound you for tips which is very uncomfortable. They also are pretty pricey. They also offer free items for a good review so dont believe the all the good ratings.

We had a wonderful visit with family in town. And several visits the best pedi in town. My toes lasted for 3+ weeks. My nails were gel perfect length last at least 2 weeks before need for fill in.The gentleman has helped me grow my natural nails back out nicely.The staff are all professional & treat ALL patrons with respect doing a wonderful job!

The experience is always nice and the prices are pretty comparable. I often visit here when I see my grandparents in Matthews and enjoy each time I get the opportunity to visit. We will be back again.

I visited this shop three separate times before leaving this review. I gave them three stars because but they do amazing work—especially Jenny—but I think I dislike this shop more than I like it. With that being said, I *would* go back because of the quality of their work, but only when I need my nails done for a special occasion. I will not support this shop on a regular basis. Here’s why:1. POOR TIME MANAGEMENT: I scheduled an appointment for each one of my visits. Unfortunately, each time I waited for nearly 45 minutes to an hour after my arrival to begin my services. Ive spent as many as 4 hours in that salon and no fewer than 3 hours. Thats a very long time for a full set of anything. However, when Jenny finally did get around to doing my nails, she was friendly and really meticulous and precise with her work.2. SCHEDULING/CHECK-IN: Its an awkward process if youre not a regular just yet. When I arrived to the shop for each of my appointments, the receptionists (Ive encountered two so far) were polite, but always seemed a bit confused--almost as if I never booked an appointment at all or if Im asking for services they never heard of or dont provide. Please note: One of the receptionists was on her first day, so thats more understandable, but it’s still my experience other times. If you read the reviews, it’s a similar experience for others who visit that salon.3. PRICE: This place is pretty expensive. That being said, they do great work. Unfortunately, they charge for the smallest things like SNS removal— even if its an SNS mani they did. I was also a bit disappointed that Jenny didnt offer to comp the price of SNS removal since my one-hour service had me in the salon for three hours. However, once I pointed it out to her, she graciously agreed to provide me with a 10% discount. So, I thank her for that.4. OTHER OBSERVATIONS: A nail tech named Mia does beautiful work too, but she does not do SNS. For my first visit, the receptionist (not a new receptionist, either) booked me with Mia for SNS. It was fine that it wasn’t Mia’s specialty, but she made kind of a show about not doing SNS. I didn’t take offense to it because it wasn’t necessarily directed to anyone, but it was weird for a first visit.5. OVERALL: Many of them do good work—Jenny, Kevin, and Mia (those are the people whose work I observed). I would go back, but only once in a while for special occasion nails. And in preparation for a visit, I’d suggest doing the following: Soak off SNS nails before arriving (if you have an existing SNS mani), be VERY clear that you need them to adhere to the scheduled appointment, get the total price before they start your services, and book a back-up appointment someplace else for one hour after your Sky Nail Bar appointment just in case they don’t manage their time properly.GOOD LUCK!!!

Poor work, unprofessional, and they refuse to take accountability for their mistakes. I gave them too many chances, but enough is enough. I will spend my money elsewhere.

I was very disappointed in my service. I got a spa pedicure, gel manicure, and eyebrows arched. There was polish on my nail beds and after 3 days my gel was lifting off my nails. My pedicure was mediocre. My cuticle were not trimmed properly. They were very busy just trying to get people in and out. After paying over $100 there I dont think Ill ever come back. I would pay more just to have a better job done.

This location was convenient bc it is so close to my job so i thought id try it out. The professionalism and skill is what keeps me coming. I love it, they always make sure i like my nails. They dont rip you off and if youre loyal they are . I have three favorites but prefer to make appointments. A lot of people enjoy coming here so it does get busy but i look at that as a good thing. Why not make n appointment and get your service? Ive never wait when i do and i am never rushed either way. It chill, relaxing, and i sip wine quietly. The owner is nice speaks and does an amazing job herself. it def worth the drive if i were to ever not come into the office.

This place has horrible customer service! I tried to be reasonable but this is horrible. I went in on Presidents’ Day for a spa pedicure and basic manicure. It took over 2 hours for my pedicure, so I asked if I can come back for the manicure. They said okay, told the lady I would come back Wednesday. First thing, my cuticle was cut to the point where is was still bleeding Tuesday evening, my polish was horrible, toe nails were not shaped evenly. I came back on Wednesday to get my manicure, they told me I should have called to make an appointment. As I’m trying to communicate with them, they are being rude and walked away and nobody can understand me at this point. Terrible customer service!

I love this place to enjoy a relaxing time getting my feet done. I love Kim and Ms.Vann. Everyone is so nice and Jenny the owner is super sweet. The glass of wine they offer and the chairs always make for a good time of peace after a crazy day.

Im in the Charlotte area and thought I had the best pedicure at Sky Nail Bar And Day Spa. Kevin is funny and skilled, and did a great job. Also, he gives me so many advices for polish color and makes sure I am happy. Love you Kenvin!

Dont bother. A 20 minute wait time turned into an hour wait. We got up and left. They did not try to stop us or apologize. Nothing.I am not a business owner, but I would think you would staff more on the weekend, Sundays especially. You know you are going to be busy.Sorry but I wont give them a second try.

Best pedicure of my life. The atmosphere is extremely relaxing. My manicurist really took the time to make sure my nails look perfect. Will definitely be going back.

Horrible experience! I came in and the wait was told to be 45 minutes which was fine. I walked in and didn’t feel welcome, no one asked what I wanted or needed, nothing!!!!!! Still I stayed and told the lady i would go to the store and come back. I come back and still was not taken back for services. People coming in after me were taken back. No follow up on what was going on or checking on me, which any business should do if there’s an extremely long wait or services are taking longer than expected. Here it is almost two hours later and I’m still waiting. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE! Will not return

David is my nail tech and he always does an awesome job and has a very pleasant personality. I have also had Rose a couple of times for pedicures and she always does an amazing job and has a very pleasant personality as well👌#skynailbar
