I have used Mallard Creek Mower three times in the last 12 months to service my lawn tractor when things have gone sideways. They have always done tremendous work in a timely manner.Today was the third time I have used their services, and though we had some initial bumps in the road in getting my mower into their shop, with some accompanying delays, they absolutely made it right and once again I walk away a happy customer.Thanks so much to Jackie and team for doing such a great job and caring about your customer! I will recommend you guys to everyone I know, and next year when Im in the market for a larger mower, I know where Ill be buying it and it wont be the big box hardware stores. 😉

The season is upon us now and we all want our equipment to be top notch, even our old pieces. I have a old craftman and we all know the pain. The staff at the desk is on point with intro and prices. Youll be doing yourself a favor to get in early because perfessionalism and hospitality fills up quickly. By the way my old Troy built had the hiccup this time. Hey enjoy the season.

Outstanding. I just want to express my appreciation for the staff. Very quick about there business. They also picked up my riding lawn tractor and delivered it. Before completing the job I received a call to insure It was cost effective. Its a old and I do mean old craftsman. I dont think there isnt anything affiliated with lawn care machinery they cant fix. Its your loss if you dont give them a try.

Absolutely amazing service and pricing.

Dropped off a Husqvarna back pack blower to get a tune up. They wanted to Charge me $175 ($100 for new carb). I got a complete kit (carb, spark plug, fuel line, grommet and 2 fuel filters) for $16 on Amazon. Took me 20 mins to replace everything and started on 2nd pull. I hate to use amazon and want to help out mom and pop shops when I can but in this case I was outraged at what they wanted to charge me for the service. They did charged me $63 for installing fuel line, filter and new plug ($40 service fee). I told them to leave the old carb and I would fix it myself.

Excellent place . The owner and lady are very nice. The Mechanic is very straight forward and some would say has an attitude but its just the way that he is. Alot of places dont even let you talk to the mechanic so I think we are lucky to be able to ask him for him questions.

Great little mom and pop type of shop. Friendly helpful staff. Wide selection of equipment from DIY homeowner to commercial types. Good to see some of the little guys still hanging on instead of just big box stores.

They are very knowledgeable on equipment and provide quality repairs. When we have issues with our equipment we know we can trust them to diagnose and fix it right.

I edited this because I want to give Mallard Creek a fair chance, but their customer service has to improve if they want their current customers to come back. Ed, the lawnmower repair guy shouldnt be a part of receiving phone calls from customers. Poor management. I informed him to have his boss call me, because I heard her in the background. She never returned my call, but when put on blast online, she wants to act like she really cares. Still waiting on that call Jackie. My lawnmower is still on your operating table and I expect her to make a full recovery when I get her back. Oh and btw, I am a black customer, so that first review may have some merit.Update : Spoke with Jackie. Pleasant on the phone. Listen to my issues and stated they would resolve my issues moving forward. No further issues at this point.

I bought a chainsaw in for repairs. They even let me supply my own carburetor when I found I could get it cheaper from Amazon than from Stihl. Ed was helpful and friendly and I decided to buy a smaller saw for climbing.PS it is hard to give credibility to vague reviews with spelling mistakes that just say oh I got bad service due to my skin color...

Called on a Sunday afternoon to leave a message for Monday morning. I got a call back Sunday night which surprised me.MCM picked up my tractor on Monday morning and had a diagnosis and cost to repair by Wednesday morning. Got my mower back on Saturday. Runs great. Thanks to Jackie and the crew for the over the top service.

Integrity and Excellence. Thats what you need in a service provider, and these folks have it! Read my story if you want to know more...Ive passed by this place for years, but never took the time to stop in. Recently I inherited two mowers (one walk-behind and one riding) that didnt run, so I decided to take them in for assessment and repairs. I also brought my own push mower in for a long overdue tune-up. Ed and another mechanic (didnt catch his name) were able to get all 3 running and tuned up in less than a week! Unfortunately, the riding mower ended up having a subtle intermittent electrical issue, so it quit running shortly after I had brought it back home. It would start again and run for another few minutes or wouldnt start at all. It really seemed random. I called Jackie and she told me to bring it back in so they could take another look at it. Of course once I got it there it ran flawlessly (insert eyeroll here). In fact, Ed let it run for a full hour and even mowed a large area of grass next to their shop without issue. But when I came back to pick it up, once again it wouldnt start. This time Ed had the same issue with it. Laz apologetically, and with great integrity, offered a full refund for all the work already done, but also said theyd work on it a little more and see if they could figure it out. He and Ed tore back into the machine and discovered a little solenoid that was malfunctioning. They replaced it at no cost to me (wouldnt even take my money when I offered it) and now I have a smooth-running riding mower. I say all this to emphasize that these folks went above-and-beyond to take care of me as a customer. Any business can preach customer service when things are going smoothly, but the true colors of a business show when things dont go as expected. These guys shone brightly under those circumstances and earned a customer for life and one who will gladly spread the word to others!

Weve taken items over there several times now. Our weed eater made several trips, which finally resulted in us buying a new weed eater. Each visit we have been told our machines needed new carberators. This most recent time they had our chainsaw for nearly three weeks before we were told it needed a carberator... we finally bought a new chainsaw. Both the front desk woman and Ed were quite rude to us.... the convenience of their location is not worth our frustration. Save yourself some headache and go somewhere else.
