Unprofessional & dishonest Co, demolition crew went beyond scope of Insurance Claim (Insurance Co had to stop them when we reported this fraud). Paul Davis Co also submitted extra work for Contents Removal which was not completed. Thus they took advantage of Insurance Co by securing addtl reimbursement during COVID which they didnt honestly earn. Project Leader & Franchise owner wouldnt return phone calls.

Worst company ever in all my years. What should be a weeks worth of work has now been 7 months and still unable to live in our home. The project manager has been unresponsive and lied numerous times. The incompetence and deception has been indescribable. We have been lied to so many times and have been made so many empty promises. There is no excuse to not be able to live in our home for 7 months with what should take a maximum (if slow workers) to fix in 2 weeks. We have friends that have built entire homes in 7 months even during Covid, and we cant get 3 rooms fixed with new drywall and insulation. I would never recommend this company as long as I live.Update: Just to clarify, this is the correct office. My daughters home was hit by a car in April. Paul Davis was hired in May to begin repairs. Delay after delay, not getting permits, failing inspections, not being responsive, no communication, I cannot understand how a company can exist with such poor business practices. A tub came in damaged, so instead of ordering one right away, they waited 2 more weeks (after 7 months) to order a replacement!!! The general manager assured my daughter and her husband on November 23 that he would update them every other day with progress reports and assured them things would be taken care of, Well, as of December 25, he has never called them, even after they have called him and left numerous voicemails. I cannot understand how someone could treat other human beings this way. These kids have been out of their home for 8 months now, they couldnt even spend their first Christmas with their new baby. Shame on you Paul Davis. We have encouraged them to reach out to an investigative news team, maybe that will shed some light on this sad situation. My heart breaks for them. What is so unbelievable is that this IS NOT A HUGE JOB!!!!!!!! There is no excuse. Hopefully either Channel 9 or Channel 3 news team can get some action. I have left my childrens names off of this post because I feel they are being intentionally abused. But you know which case we are referring to. It seems you would want to get this work done and close the case.

Paul Davis Restoration came out to help get our flood repair started with speed, professionalism, and efficiency. Tracy, especially, was helpful (along with her crew) to manage the logistics. She physically packed our entire finished basement. They meticulously labelled each box and moved it all into a storage container that she had sent to our location. They came back out and reversed the process when we were finished. Thank you, Tracy...Top notch!

We had a pipe burst in our kitchen that caused us to be out of our house for over 5 months. The first night, Scott Bailey and his team arrived to our home and promptly starting drying out our home. Tracey and Will were so helpful packing up our belongs and putting them in dry storage. They treated me with respect at a very upsetting time. Tracey was always available to me over the 5 months. Hurricane Michael destroyed 3/4 of our house in October 2018. Tracy and her team showed up a few days later and began packing up all salvageable contents, from the smallest spoon to the heaviest furniture. All five of them worked very hard, without stopping for lunch, packing each item carefully. They were so kind, understanding, and patient with me during this stressful time -- and I tested their patience with questions like, Where are you taking my stuff? What if I need something? Paul Davis Restoration responded to a water damage issue that affected our laundry room and adjacent hardwood floors. Alex Bailey and all the crew with Paul Davis responded quickly to dry out and replace the laundry room floor. They worked with a contractor to move our furniture out of the first floor and refinish the hardwood floors. The hardwood floors look brand new (even better). Alex, the PD crew and their subcontractors were very professional, described well the plan to get the work done, kept us informed on progress, and took great care in handling all the details. They moved the furniture carefully and cleaned the minor dust from refinishing. We are extremely happy with the work that Paul Davis completed and highly recommend their company for restoration.

In February of 2015 our family was devastated with the loss of a loved one in their home which required biological clean up. Paul Davis Restoration was recommended to us so I contacted them as soon as possible. Even though the winter weather was bad they came out and got the clean up started very fast and had everything removed and sanitized in about a week, which under the circumstances was amazing. They did such a good job with the clean up that we decided to let them handle all the reconstruction that was needed and everything came out looking very nice. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs the various services they provide. They were not only timely and efficient but also very considerate in handling such a sensitive project.

Tracy Thompson and her team were lifesavers when a tree fell on our house and suddenly everything had to be cleaned and stored. They packed it and they moved it, and not one single item was damaged in the process. They went out of their way to accomodate us in every way and at every turn. I use to refer my clients to Paul Davis restoration for all their homeowners claims; however after referring many many customers it seems their priorities are not for being a fair I dependent agent being a neutral party but rather pick and choose not being honest with the homeowners regarding their claims or giving them the truthful.opinion..and after even defending the integrity of the Paul Davis crew.as an agent as.role.of a.client or as a referarral I was the one that was the fool...scott Bailey is the owner of a few of the local Paul Davis in charlotte/Gastonia area or north Carolina and and despite all the business, all the respect, and all the defense I gave given his company he has shown those things such as loyalty and honor doesnt matter. his crew specifically Brian Morris wouldnt return our phone calls, they kept placing blame on insurance company for their lack of professionalism in handling the job..so after a water leak in my parent home which unfortunately happened a day prior to my father having 2 major surgeries they stated they couldnt do anything w/o insurance approval...as an agent I tried to defend and understand the reasoning but when the insurance company gave permission to proceed only after ignoring the calls from our phone numbers we tried a different number and they answered since it was an unfamiar number...they didnt tell us they didnt want the job or couldnt handle but went behind our back and lied to insurance company about mold..we tried to arrange meeting w adjuster Brian Morris or really anyone from.paul Davis and only once adjuster was present to say work should have started or been performed they stated they had a large job and couldnt take the job which could have been said 3 days prior and w/o lying and placing blame on insurance company...sad part is the company was state farm and i dont work for state farm..go with a com9any that values its customers and clients...ones that speak integrity and doesnt ignore phone calls or play sides for their personal agenda
