This place is amazing. Best of all, there are so many kind and engaging technical professionals working here. Quick and the best place to get your things fixed. I had issue with few keys on my Mac and they did a great job and fixed it all of them within few minutes.Mask is mandatory but if you dont have it no worries, they will give you one.

I have an 11am appointment to pick up my new phone which I already paid for in full. I get here at 9:30am because I have to catch a flight for work but they couldn’t help me even though as you can see by the picture there are at least 8 representatives just standing around outside the front of the store chit chatting. Also was told even though I paid in full for the phone they won’t hold it to Monday and it’s Friday…. Seriously? It’s like this every time with Apple, worst customer service!!!!

I went there to pick up a phone that I ordered online.Mask was mandatory but if you dont have it no worries, they will provide you one.I was attended by tim and John, who were really helpful and helped me as quickly as possible. Helped me with my bill and sending it to my e-mail immediately.Crowd- well it was quite packed for afternoon timings but still they didnt make me wait and everyone around me had an agent helping them with their product.One of the best apple center.

We walked in wearing face masks. The appropriate way. The guy at the front follows my husband in and tells him he needs to wear their face mask. Mind you, my husband TEACHES in this face mask. Watch college football lately? It’s that face mask that Nick Saban himself wears. They made it incredibly uncomfortable and were rude about it. Shame because we use Apple for everything. But this store will not get our business. Learn how to talk to your guests and handle things the right way.

Right before the store closed last night, I went in to buy the MacBook Pro 16” laptop. The sales associate who helped me was super helpful and kind! I wish I remembered his name. He took a lot of time showing me the 16” features and comparing them to the 13” MacBook features, as well as trying to understand my needs. He could’ve let me spend A LOT of money on the 16”, but after listening to my goals he wanted me to know I had options and he felt that my needs as a college student would actually be well served by the drastically cheaper 13” MacBook. After exploring it, I decided he was right and I didn’t need to buy the way more expensive model. And so far I’m genuinely happy with my purchase. I truly appreciate the effort that was put into understanding my needs and saving me money at Apple! Thanks so much!

Apple are enforcing the mask mandate at the moment.Everyone was wearing masks and there are people at the front giving masks to anyone without them.The store was clean and tidy as per usual. I waited about 10 minutes past my appointment time but they were busy

First time visit to an Apple store since visiting Charlotte.Wanted to take a look at the new M1 Mac computer. Of course this required a reservation due to covid.Arrived early and had to get online even with a reservation. Then was told to come back because they cant check you in early.Walked around the mall for over an hour. Came back to the Apple store and got back on line about 20 minutes before the reservation time and now they tell us that they cant check us in until 5 minutes before the reservation.Finally made it inside the store and no display models to look at.Not the best experience but 2 stars for the friendly customer service once inside the store.

Good customer experience but they should really work on their scheduling system. Sucks to wait another 30mins to 1hr when you have an appointment. Totally unacceptable. Plan to be there at least 1hr even with appointment. Other than that, great location and techs do what theyre trained to do.

We arrived to have wife’s phone looked at and get repaired. Great customer service from the tech that we worked with Friday. They told us that we would have to wait. We made a schedule with them to come back in on Sunday as it was late on Friday.When we dropped off on Sunday, they told us that it would take a hour to repair. We came back an hour later and the tech told us that it was unrepairable due to water damage. Understood. When he handed us the phone the screen was broken.... note that the glass on screen was perfectly fine before the drop off. Said that they could not repair the broken screen since there was water damage and it was a hazard for their techs to work on it. A screen that was not previously cracked or broken.We are very disappointed and dissatisfied with this outcome. We have owned apple products for over a decade and by far the worst service.

My iphone 12 disastrous experience continues. Apple shipped me a replacement iPhone 12 because the my 1st 12 was overheating. The second was DOA with a failed board. I was told to take it to southpark apple store for an exchange. The store refused to exchange it. They gave me 2 options. send it in for repair. Or they can buy it for half what I paid for it as a trade in and sell me a third iphone 12. This is a used car dealer game that i never thought apple will play or offer. I have been an apple device and computer owner for 40 years. After this I doubt I will buy anything from apple stores.

Had a 1pm Genius Bar appointment, 1:30 came and they helped the gentleman that checked in after me and left me sitting. I asked why his later appointment was serviced first and they couldn’t give me an answer. Terrible customer service, especially when there’s 5-10 employees standing around.

I met with Liam and later Landry. Both were absolutely awesome 👌 Couldnt be more pleased. However, while Apples technology is state of the art, their policy on mandatory CLOTH masks is out of touch and they are MILITANT about it. Horrible!! There are over 60 stores in this mall and not one of them has required a mask for weeks now. Thus 4 stars not 5. Liam and Landry are for sure 5 stars. GET WITH THE TIMES APPLE 😠

From out of town and wanted to buy an iPad Air. Knew exactly what I wanted and the online Apple web site said it was in stock. Walked in the store, saw plenty of employees standing around doing nothing but was told I had to make a shopping appointment in order for me to hand them $1,000 and they hand me a box. The next available appointment was 2 hours out. Needless to say I told them to stuff it. A terrible way of doing business!!!!

I made an appointment for 11:30. I arrived at 11:15. I had driven from over an hour away for this service appointment. I had been told in an email to check In with the person at the door. I told him I had an appointment time. His response “so! There’s the back of the line.” I got in line. There were 45 people in line in front of me. There were no covid protocols in place. I guess their current stringent protocols are to protect the employees, not the customers. I waited in line until 11:40. After that 25 minute wait only 3 people in line had been allowed in. So, I left. It would have taken hours in that tightly packed line. Why are you requiring reservations if you aren’t honoring them? This is a poor way to treat customers. Never again!

This is a pretty good store. They have a pretty streamlined check in process. The salesman we dealt with was knowledgeable but at one point he got frustrated with us when we didn’t understand the very confusing phone payment plan options. He gave us a very sarcastic, “Ok, one more time....” before explaining the payment.

This was by far my worst experience with Apple! I went to my carrier to get my screen repair for my iPhone 12 Pro. My carrier advised me to take the phone to the Apple store to get repair because I had Apple Care. So I take the phone to the Apple store to get repair, they tell me the only thing that needs to be fixed is the screen, but unfortunately they didnt have that screen in stock at their location. They were able to set me up with an appointment at another Apple location (30 minutes) to get the screen repair. I drove to the location, dropped the phone off for repair at 6pm, and was told the phone would be fixed by 8pm. I returned to the location at 8pm only to be told that there was in error in the repair process and the phone would have to be shipped off for repairs. This was a huge inconvenience for me. Then get a call 5 days later that my phone is fixed and ready to be picked up. I go to the store a day later to retrieve my phone and head to work. After arriving to my office, I notice the phone is missing the SIM card. I alert the Apple store in SouthPark that they returned my phone to me without a SIM card (again another inconvenience). They told me they could send another SIM card to me overnight. I voiced my my frustrations to the store who then offered me a phone case or a wireless charger for my inconvenience and then I voiced my frustration to Apple support who offered to rectify the situation, not even the refund of $31 that was charge to fix the phone screen. I am in the customer service business and we pride ourselves on making sure the customer had the best experience possible. In this situation, I had a horrible experience and I was offered a phone case or a wireless charger. My advice, dont trust your repairs with this location and dont waste your time trying to voice your frustration to this Apple store if they make a mistake with your device or Apple support. It will be disregarded!

They are forcing you to make an appointment and come back the next day. Why would I waste my time driving all the way to the store just to have to come back the next day. Making an appointment online was also difficult because my iphone is broken and it asks for a verification code to the icloud, how would i give them a code to verify if the phone is broken? The store is full of people so why bother to force people to make appointments for the next day? Also waiting in line is annoying because you see tons of people coming in and out yet I am still waiting. I called for support and the caller could not help me and hung up on me. I understand if you cannot do your job but at least be nice enough not to hang up.

Horrible experience, walked in and a young man checked me in on his iPad. He told me the wait would be 2hrs. I waited around the mall for two hours. Finally went to wait in the store, another representative came up to me to ask if I needed assistance. I said I’m checked in, what’s my wait time. She stated I hadn’t been checked in this whole time. Horrible, horrible. Over three hours wasted of my time.

Had to drive 2 times to the mall and end up canceling my order... the first time the lady on the line was really nice and let me talk to a representative, who assured me that i can pick up my item as soon as i get the gr code. the second time that i come to the mall there was another security lady who didn’t let me go at the line cause i had to be at the store 5 minutes before the appointment. The actual Apple employees are fantastic when offering support and helping people fix or pick up products. But this location has 4 security guards that stand around doing the bare minimum and occasionally bully the line for fun. I had an appointment at 3:20 and arrived 15 minutes early. I was told to go to the back of the line, which resulted in me being 15 minutes LATE to the appointment. I was also asked to show a QR code but my phone didn’t work at all. I explained this. The security guard cut me off and radioed the store to confirm my story, since I had called to confirm that not having a copy of my reservation would be okay. Just overall, not a pleasant experience. They were often too busy talking to one another and didn’t direct the line properly. Two different guards would send a genius multiple customers at the same time, which is super awkward for customers because someone has to exit the store and return to the line.

To purchase two iPads you needs a reservation- this is crazy and then I can go online but it’s 3 weeks - the manager was utilizing the apple customer service model which wasn’t helpful and I’m sure that my $2500 doesn’t make or break but overall disappointed and I’ll continue to purchase apple but get better service ot new managers in this store . I recently placed an order for pick up at this location, in the future during these times I’d appreciate it if the instructions for pickup where more clear, I was under the impression that they still offered curbside pick up so I spent 15 minutes in the parking garage to try and locate the pickup area ONLY TO find out that I had to park and go in the mall which I feel is extremely inconvenient. They broke my phone doing a battery replacement. What more can I say. Had to go to another Apple store in Durham to get the display fixed, and they couldn’t fix it either. Ended up getting a replacement phone there.You can’t get in without an appointment, the security guards will turn you away. Obviously they have COVID guidelines/restrictions so you cannot enter the store to browse anything anymore; however, the appointment time doesn’t even matter because you’re gonna wait in their long line regardless if it is past your time that you chose.For such an well-known technology company, they are incredibly inefficient at helping their customers. Do better, Apple.

Wait for an email at some unknown future date/time - they cant be bothered to simply grab one. If I could give zero stars I wouldHad placed an order online and receive confirmation to pick up. Was only allowed a window of 2:30 PM to 3 PM. OK fine. Wanted to utilize curbside pick up.My son was designated as the authorized person to pick up, and he was there at 2:30. Store was closed with a sign to use curbside pick up, never had these instructions on how until he got to the store.He went down to curbside pick up, and while he was going down there I get a phone call from the store. They tell me we can’t pick the order up today they are closed because of problems they had at another store.I describe to them that my son is already there and was trying to pick up, but they did not care.I asked to speak to the manager. He gets on the phone and tells me there’s nothing he can do. Literally nothing. I asked Could he ship them to us, he said no.I asked what could be done to help me out in this, because my son had spent an hour travel each way to pick these items up. They were to protect The new iPhone pros that we had purchased. He didn’t care.I told him cancel the order, he said he did not. I had to go online and figure it out myself is what he told me.Ask to speak to his manager, and was blown off and given a number to call that says the office is closed.What a total BS experience. Will never go to an Apple store again, and will give my business to non-Apple products and other stores.In any other circumstance with any other store or manager, they would have found someway to help me, someway to make up for the significant inconvenience that they were causing, someway to take care of me to keep me as their customer. I received an iphone 12 for xmas and attempted to import my 5K+ photos from iphone 7 to my computer. After realizing it was deleting them from the phone and not saving them, I called support. Support was unable to properly assist and suggested I go to the Apple Store. The associate who we spoke with said they could not help and to call support. After I informed her support sent me there, she said there was nothing they could do nor did she attempt to provide any solution. I have no plans to pay for icloud space to retrieve my own photos yet that was the only solution she had. Needless to say, I gave her the iphone 12 and got my money back. Such horrible service and Apple is more concerned with themselves than the customer. Such a waste of 4 hours of my time. I will be purchasing a Samsung now!

Shocked to see how poorly managed Apple’s store operations are during these times of Covid.Apple’s express pick up email specifically asks customers to visit during the 15 min pick up window to avoid long lines due to Covid. And it clearly states that customers who are outside their pick up window will experience long wait times!!Unfortunately, this protocol was not clear to the store employees or the store manager. All customers with or without an appointment or those who are arriving way before or after their appointment were standing in the same line as the customers who are arriving within their pick up time! When I brought this up to the store manager’s attention, he told me that this is his way of being fair to everybody without realizing that he is being unfair to people who are punctual and honoring Apple’s email by arriving within the pick up window.On top of this there was no social distancing being enforced. Very frustrating and jarring customer experience and that too with the most valuable company on the planet!

I don’t know why Apple store South Park is only scheduling appointments 1 week out but I have been trying to get an appointment for service for weeks now and they keep saying that they are completely booked and will not take any future appointments. What. In. The. World. It was easier to schedule an appointment with the NCDMV than it has been with a multi-billion dollar company. Had an excellent experience at this store when purchasing and setting up my new phone. I was very nervous because I had previously purchased a phone through my cell phone carrier’s store and after a software update during initial setup, it stopped working and had to be returned. So I decided to go straight to Apple this time and I had the pleasure to work with Romeo at the Apple store. He was extremely helpful and patient and waited with me through the whole setup process to ensure my phone would be working before I walked out of the store. I greatly appreciated the time and service I received in this store.

Back in February, I was visiting family and went into the store to inquire about the possibility of looking for a phone for my mother that is legally blind. It was very busy, and I felt a little out of place as Ive never shopped at apple. I was then approached by one of the employees in the store and she was very friendly and really listened to what exactly I was looking for. Kate gave me several options to choose from. The iphone 11 and the accessibility options was perfect. The phones that we had used before was the flip phone with an actual keypad. I had no idea that the iphone was so easy to use. Her friendly smile and professionalism was truly welcoming. For someone never had been in the store before and wasnt sure what to even look for, made the experience not only an enjoyable one, but for sure has made me feel in shopping at apple to being a repeat customer. Im a US Army Veteran and when I shared my military service, she then informed me I would also be receiving a veterans discount, so this truly goes a long way. She is a valuable asset to not only to this store, but to Apple and to the community of Veterans. Thank you Kate for your help and if we are ever back in town, well be sure to come by again!

The method provided to set an appointment was with the QR code system which was also fine, after going through those steps I was unsuccessful in creating an appointment and asked one of the four guards for assistance they then told me to call the 1800 my apple number which sent a text message that link back to the same thing the QR code brings up.When I alert both the security and the four apple reps that the system wasn’t working they just stared and said there’s nothing they can do and went back to twisting their thumbs. The Apple representatives didn’t even offer help to create an appointment to be seen they just didn’t have any communication or offer any assistance with the public at all.There were at least 5 groups who were standing in the walkway needed help to make an appointment bc the system was not giving the option.I am so unsatisfied with how I was treated as a paying customer today. And even if I wasn’t going to be seen with what I needed help for in the first place then I did expect to get assistance with being able to set an appointment.I asked for managers, lead agents, anyone who could give me anything other than call 1800... and everyone just stared at us instead of assisting and helping. They saw that it was multiple people needing to login to create an appointment and no one thought to help when I asked for names they did not give them and said no one was available.I will never vist this location again and for anyone looking for a quick customer service question please go somewhere else these people will not aid you here. I’m so upset I don’t care about any typo. 10/19/20

The antenna on my son’s iPhone 7 somehow broke so we took it to this store, over 2hours away from our home, to get fixed. It was determined in store that the phone needed to be shipped out for repair so we accepted an iPhone 6 as a loaner. It was estimated to us that the repair may take two weeks but could be more or less time. More than 5 weeks later, I received a customer satisfaction survey via email but never heard anything from the store. Today I finally call the store to be told that they emailed me 3 times, none of which did I receive, and that the phone has been “abandoned” and there was nothing they could do about it. So, I called 800MYIPHONE in hopes of a better answer than “unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do.”After 45 minutes and ultimately being transferred back to this store, Apple is obviously unwilling to try to make things right. Perhaps, if the loaner were the same model and same amount of gigs, I would be willing to call it even but it’s not. I’ve paid full term price for a 7 and have a 6 to show for it. No offers to do ANYTHING other than pass the call off to the next person. Apple seemed to have info about other phones on our account but the Apple Store only has access to what’s on the ticket. Apple was able to get a satisfaction survey to me but the store couldn’t get an email to me. Perhaps Apple should work on integrating their own business systems and customer service before anything else.With the camera on my own 7S now malfunctioning, it looks like android will get another opportunity at my money.

I attempted to perform a simple exchange for my defective SmartCase that was under warranty. I purchased it from Apple SouthPark in April, and it stopped charging 6 months later. A sign outside the store read “by appointment only” d/t COVID-19 safety measures so I asked if I could make an appointment. All 4 service counters were free and no one was in line, but none of the employees in the store even acknowledged my physical presence at the entrance. A mall security employee was more helpful, and said to call AppleCare to make the appointment. I did, and the AppleCare rep called the SouthPark store to make me an appointment, explaining that I was at the entrance observing all 4 counters being free, with no one in line. The Apple SouthPark store still refused to make me an appointment even when the AppleCare rep asked. I remained in front of the store on the phone with the rep for the next 15 minutes, watching all 4 service desks remain open the entire time. My issue took 52 minutes to resolve by phone, but would have taken 3 minutes to resolve in person.

Drove an hour to get my iPhone fixed. Asked them over the phone to see if they had the part in stock and they said they would. Arrived sat down had phone diagnostic done again, to be told they don’t have the part in stock.
