I usually dont write reviews, but definitely had to do a review on Nerdy Techs. I own a small business and kept having several problems with my network and computers. I had previously hired a couple of different companies and IT people to come out and get everything working correctly and none of them were able to resolve my issues. A friend referred me over to Nerdy Techs and Chris and another guy came out and took a look at my systems and network and found the problems right away! Within a couple of hours, they had every running smoothly! Finally found someone that knows what they are doing and can help out when needed! Will definitely call them back for any IT support issues that we have! Thanks Chris for everything!!!

Chris Austin is my computer and electronics guru!! He is so responsive, and helpful with even my craziest questions! He has done an amazing job with my office and my home office computers/printers/scanners, as well as TVs, sound bars, Google Home and Nest. He is so knowledgeable, nice, professional, affordable and provides great purchasing advice. I dont know what I would do without him!!!

Chris was a pleasure to work with throughout the whole process. I called him because my Chrome kept crashing and every thing I tried doing to fix the issue, I receive an error message. I called him and received a text back that same day and he offered to meet me at his office on a Saturday to fix the computer. He diagnosed the issue and then quoted me a very fair price. He also kept me updated throughout the whole process, asked me before making any changes, and downloaded remote support software in case I had any issues. I had my computer back within two days and it works like new (he even cleaned it for me). I highly recommend Chris and will use him for any of my future needs.

Called Chris for a repair. He seems to have no place of business where you can bring your computer, and said that we could meet in a parking lot. Where is he located? Who knows? He said he would come by my work the next day, but I called him that day and found out he was not going to make it. I attempted to find another time to meet him, but he wasnt going to be in the same areas of town as me for the next couple of days. I then tried to go far out of my way to meet him by leaving work early and driving all the way across town from the 77 to Matthews, where he was. He suggested Best Buy, and when I suggested another place in the same mall that wouldnt result in wandering around the parking lot, he said it was sketch and hung up on me. Yes, its sketch. His business is sketch. The fact that I would have to meet him in a parking lot and not at a place of business is sketch. Going with a computer repair that is more professional and has an address.

I found these young men Chris and Jon by accident when I saw their company car in my neighborhood. I was experiencing many different problems with my desktop and knew what I needed but did not want to go to the big box store and to Geek Squad. So I called them, explained my problem and we scheduled a time for them to come to my house and pick up my CPU and work on it! Customer Service off the chain! As a DJ, I work in different locations/environments and my computer is very important to me. Its my traveling office, media library and the most important part of the equipment needed for every performance. Chris has ALWAYS been there for me, keeping me up-to-date and even ahead of the curve at times, but he went above and beyond what could ever be expected recently.Labor Day weekend, my laptop froze/locked up a couple hours before I had a gig -- I had NOTHING. One and one half years ago, Chris was contracted for a project. He requested payment in full made to a third party which I can only assume was to settle another outstanding debt, which we paid. Two months later I contacted him about the job and his response was he had forgotten. I told him we were canceling the job and would accept a refund which he said he did not have. Then I asked for the hardware and said I would find another to install it. He stated he had sold it, but if I would give him a couple of months he would repay. After almost a year of texts, emails, pleads and threats, he agreed to break down the debt in 3 payments which he wrote 3 checks and post dated two. Well, to no surprise two of the checks came back NSF and now we are stuck with two bad checks and check charges. Certified letters have been returned and now we are advised by the Magestrate to file in civil court. More expenses which hopefully can be recovered. Chris is a competant Tech, but my advice would be DO NOT PAY BEFORE THE WORK IS COMPLETE!!!!!!!!

About 2 years ago my sites were at Host(reptile) and when my renewal was late, while I expected them to take my sites down, but they went a lot further than that….they deleted my files. I now have to rebuild everything and 2 of those sites were $10,000 sites. NerdyTechs also offers a host of other services. Including website building….wow maybe I should hire them to rebuild my $10,000 sites………

Computer was riddled with popups. I couldnt get any of my school work down when I was out of town. I use my PC for all of my classes. I found NerdyTechs through Google and I couldnt be happier! Ive been working with Chris for all of my offices networking and computer repair for several years. Nerdytechs is really convenient for me because they come to me when I need them, they get the work done, and I dont have to leave my desk. Owning your own business is stressful enough without having to worry about arranging IT work. Ive always been extremely satisfied with the level of service and quality of work. I read the negative reviews on here and Im not entirely sure they are talking about the same company because I have never had any issues with Chris or his company. Hes the best in Charlotte and I would never consider changing tech guys. As a small business owner, I appreciate what he does for me and my company!

They offer remote support so as long as your internet is up they can login and fix your issue. I have used them several times for this services.
