I went to get my my Asus gaming laptop diagnosed. because it wouldnt power on. Dj was very helpful and knowledgeable. Turns out, I fried the motherboard because I let it overheat, it was full of dust and never cleaned it. He advised me to get it cleaned every 6 months. He didnt charge for the diagnosis because the cost to repair it would be too high. Ill make sure next time to use his services and get it maintained regularly, Thank you DJ .. highly recommended.

Mr DJ replaced my broken laptop screen within 3 hours. It was way quicker than what I expected and the service was of high quality. He also has one of the kind no contact service in this pandemic and was very impressed with the measures he had undertaken. The price was reasonable, infact way cheaper than geek squad charges. He will be my go to place for my future computer works.

**HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!** My laptop wouldnt power on, I thought it might be the end but I just wanted to make sure. DJ got me a next day appointment. Drop off was COVID safe and easy! He called me back same day with a diagnosis. Unfortunately, my laptop was unable to be revived without a new (refurbished, since they dont make that one anymore) motherboard. DJ was honest with me and even though it meant losing a sale, advised that replacing the motherboard would be an expensive temporary fix and that there was no guarantee how long my laptop would last. I decided against replacing the part and will invest that money into a new laptop. DJ only charged me a very reasonable diagnostic fee and removed and returned my hard drive so I can attempt to retrieve my files. I will definitely recommend his services and will use him again if needed!

I brought my laptop to another repair shop and they told me that the motherboard was fried. They were late on the work being done so I picked it up still “broken”. DJ did the diagnostic right in front of me because he could tell I was antsy about getting it fixed. It’s my work laptop and I had deadlines to meet. He told me it was the power supply and had the right one in stock. $50 for everything! Saved me $355!! Highly recommended! He could have easily charged me for a new motherboard because I was ready to shell out a few hundred. Very honest guy. I came to Mr. DJ a few days ago because my computer wouldnt connect to the internet, it wouldnt pull up documents, it wouldnt load entirely, and more. Within maybe 3 days, 4 days max Mr. DJ was able to fix every issue with my laptop!! He informed me on what was causing the issues and made suggestions to save the life of my laptop. He has a friendly personality and it was very easy for me to build a connection with him based on his honesty and electronic knowledge. Being that I am a college student, I have several documents and he informed up front that he would try to save my documents but it wasnt a guarantee. Well, when I came to pick my laptop up today, he informed me he was able to! Also, his prices are very reasonable! I would recommend using his services if your laptop isnt operating properly. If he cant fix it, it cant be fixed because I had so many issues including a corrupted hard drive. Yikes!! Thank you again DJ!

The hard drive on my computer was corrupted and I was looking for a long time to find a computer repair place that would not cost an arm and a leg. I found Affordable Computer Repair and spoke with DJ. I brought my desk top computer to him and he put in a new hard drive as the one that I purchased on eBay had no memory on it. He loaded windows on it and cleaned up my ol silver just like new! All in just a few hours! I love my computer so much and now that DJ has given new life to it Im sure it will be around for quuqu a few more years! DJ was kind knowledgeable and very fair priced! My laptop wouldnt stop blue screening. So instead of taking it to geek squad, who wouldve taken an entire week to diagnose and Lord knows how much to fix, I found DJ on Google and decided to give him a shot. Dropped off my laptop and got a diagnostic the VERY NEXT DAY. He explained to me the problem, how it happened, and gave me options. Not once did he make me feel dumb because of my lack of computer knowledge. After we both came to a decision, it took him a week to get it fixed. Geek squad once took a whole month to fix my laptop (sending it here and there, ordering parts etc). DJ took a week! He also saved most of my files and reinstalled Microsoft programs on my laptop. The price was reasonable as well. So if you ever have computer problems and you live around the area, I would definitely recommend you give him a shot. He will be the first person I come to for all computer problems from now on!

Owner stated my power supply was bad, and that using computer duster got moisture inside of it. and that i needed a specific power supply from HP to fit, and that it would take a week to get.The Diagnosis was correct, the power supply was bad and reading low voltage. However moisture would have not gotten in my PS due to routine dusting. Also, Power supplies are mostly universal.. I paid for the diag ($25), went to Best buy, got a new power supply and DVDROM adapter for a whopping $71, and repaired it myself, I even upgraded it to a 700W.It didnt seem like he was trying to to upcharge me, but some of the information I was fed was bad.. so something wasnt quite right.

My boyfriend brought in his computer after having many frustrating efforts to get it fixed elsewhere. It kept having errors and shutting off at random, especially when he would try to game. DJ got it repaired within a week and was very generous with his pricing. I did not meet the man directly, but my boyfriend says he was a nice guy who does fantastic work. He is very happy his computer finally works!

Very rude. I am a computer science major with years of experience of repairing my own computers. I had a small problem with my computer, diagnosed the problem, and even had a link online for the part needed. Only reason I was seeking help was due to my heavy courseload and not having time to do it myself. DJ cut me off when I told him I knew what the problem was, saying I needed to bring it in. He didnt let me explain it or anything. All I wanted was to know if he had the part or how quickly he could get it. Treat people with more respect and youll do better business. Oh, and the next guy I called let me explain myself AND he already had the part in.

Ill start out with this, my name is william benjamin currently in school [UNCC] I barley have time to play my games and watch my movies, Ive had this laptop as long as being in school about 3.5years and I have no money to replace it atm. Ive looked up and called so many shops asking for 100-160$ + Fee of thermal paste or bringing in your own. It was way too pricey until Ive looked upon DJ repair shop which offers so much services and cheap price. My laptop was very dusty and dirty, fan was turning off and own [broken], I took it to dj shop he repaired it the next day for not even half the price for a laptop repair only like 50$!!! thats amazing, I did not have to wait 3days or week. I will continue to go to hes shop for future problems or building my new pc :)!! ty dj!

This man is incredibly rude. I didnt do business with him because he was so rude over the phone I didnt want to. He cut me off several times and spoke to me like I was trash, particularly when I asked him to repeat what he said due to some noise in the background. He was not forthcoming about service questions and sounded especially irritated when I inquired about pricing and timing. He is irate and impatient and the sad thing is I tried to give him a chance for the first part of the convo when normally I would just hang up. Im a paying customer and I have a right to ask questions. If he is this rude with only inquiries I could not have imagined actually doing business with him. Save your time and money, this man has no business dealing with people.Edit: I want to add a response to the one posted by the seller because I feel it is important to expose dishonesty. I only called him twice not 3 times as he stated. I did not ask him repeatedly for anything as I understood perfectly well that he could not diagnose and give info over the phone- that was embellishment on his part. The second call was to ask about timing because I forgot to ask the first time. I just wanted to be clear about time frames which is a legit question as I use my computer for work. If he said he couldnt tell me no big deal, I wasnt pushy by any means. He cut me off before I could finish asking my question. I DONT GIVE PRICING OVER THE PHONE I was floored as I wasnt even going to ask him that. He assumed I was going to ask him that and looked like a jerk as a result. I dont want to get into an Internet war with him so Im done. I just dont want anyone to have a bad experience like I did so I want to take the time to warn others.
