I was in town for work this past week and stopped into Caliber Men’s Grooming after getting a burger next door at Bang Bang Burger. This place looked awesome. You feel like you walk into a different world when you step inside. The front desk girl, Hayley, was so nice! She said that they normally accept walk-ins but suggested that I schedule an appointment since they were booked that day. She gave me a list of their services and explained some of what they offer. She even gave me a quick tour of their shop. You can tell that they pay attention to detail just based on the decor and layout of the place. Everyone looked happy and it seems like a really cool spot where you can drink a beer and relax while you get a haircut. I don’t even normally leave reviews, but I’m from out of town and have never seen a shop for men that was this cool. I’m excited to schedule an appointment for when I’m back in Charlotte!

John is the best stylist Ive worked with in my 6 years in Charlotte! He takes great care in making sure youre both on the same page with what you want, and does a great job of explaining the why behind what hes doing. I always feel super confident leaving his chair after cut or beard trim. The space is also super inviting and the free beer is the icing on the cake.

I recently scheduled a 90 minute massage with the massage therapist, Emily. She was great! I had a lot of shoulder pain and hip pain and she was able to target all of the areas that needed attention. She definitely has a clear understanding of therapeutic massage and knows exactly what to do to help. She offered to add cupping to my massage, which was great for the tightness in my shoulders. I will definitely be back again and would highly recommend her!

I have recently (June 2020) experienced two 90-minute sessions with the new massage therapist, Emily. Both massages went so well! Emily has worked with athletes for years and has helped me by working out tightness and getting deep into my muscles for relief. Her competence and confidence commanding her massage space at Caliber has been a revelation for me. She has also taught me stretches and techniques for use at home. My search for a great deep tissue masseuse is FINALLY over. Thank you!

I have to retro actively give an update on my experience with this business. I had a good experience the first time I went. However the 2nd time was enough for me to never go back and to change my review which I dont do often.I made an appointment for 3pm on Friday. To my own detriment I got caught in traffic and knew I was going to be 5 minutes late, so I called to see if they could still see me and the lady on the phone said that to come on and they would take me. I walked in the door 5-6 minutes late as I had already called and told them. They said well the next client is here and I would have to reschedule. This is unprofessional behavior to tell me to come knowing exactly how late I would be because I had called to make sure they could see me . This cost time and money to go because they said to come and they turned me away.would not recommend any longer.

This was my second time coming here. Was a pleasant experience but I didnt get the haircut I was looking for, and Abby M. didnt ask enough questions to get it right. Not quite worth the high price.Their specialty seems to be with the fade so if you want medium length or long hairstyles, look elsewhere.

Hailey got me in and scheduled at the last minute! She worked it for me! Jeffery Roma was my barber and he gave me the treatment that I really needed to lift me up and make me feel like his only client! Great staff, fantastic cut and style, just what I didn’t even know I wanted. Everything was first class, clean and comfortable. Love it! Met nice clients too!😉

This is not a kids place but they did an awesome job with my little man. They also cut my husbands hair regularly and he has been very happy with them.

Not really impressed how my haircut turned out. I’m new to the city and was looking for a nice place that would be able to cut my hair nicely but even after showing photos how I wanted my hair to be it did not turned out like it and I even was doubtful because maybe if I just style it myself it would be ok after I get home but no. Not very pleased with it specially for the amount of money I paid for it.

Great place! Came in with quarantine hair and my stylist was able to cut 4+ inches off and get me back to normal with no reference to go off of! Always look forward to my next visit!

Getting a haircut doesnt need an experience, but Caliber provides one anyways! Very clean place, free drinks/beer when you walk in.But beyond the location, the stylists are top notch. Catie was recommended to me by a friend, and its been the best recommendation Ive ever received.Catie provides amazing service and keeps excellent notes so if I come back and say I want exactly what we did last time, shes able to make it happen. Catie always makes sure to touch up every last hair on my head to make sure everything is perfect, even if it wouldnt be noticable.

An awesome place for any guy to get their hair cut. Excellent atmosphere and interior, and the stylists are personable and know how to handle men’s hair in a more modern style. Also, nothing beats getting to enjoy a cold beer while you wait and when you’re getting your cut! Would recommend to anyone looking for a new spot for a cut.

Easy to say this is the best haircut experience I have ever had. Catie went the extra mile in every way with a head massage, eyebrow trim, styling tips, and even writing down exactly what she did for reference if I wanted anything changed in the future. Simply the highest quality of service.The space is great and comfortable too, and complimentary beer doesnt hurt. Will be going there exclusively in the future.

Awesome place! Jeff gave me a fantastic look for my wedding, and you can tell he’s a true master of his craft. The other stylists are right up there with him, and I always see excellent work coming out of this shop.

Ive been here 3 times, and every time has been top notch. The skill and attention to detail of stylists is extremely high. The atmosphere is open, clean, and relaxing - they have a good selection of beers you can grab and enjoy during your cut - free of charge. I would have never noticed it driving past, but this is definitely going to be my new regular place.

Had a great experience at Caliber today. Great location, parking is free and easy. Very cool mans cave vibe and great selection of local beer. Great place to get a hair cut. Shampoo before and wash after with a hot towel. Kelly was great. Very nice and easy to talk to. Really recommend this place. It is very easy to miss little hole in the wall place, but it is worth finding. Go check this place out.

This place is phenomenal. One of the best haricuts you can get in Charlotte. If you are used to Supercuts prices, dont enter. But if you are looking for an experience with people that are actually knowledgeable and aware, then it is worth checking out. I see Catie and shes awesome. I love the atmosphere and it is right next to Common Market South End which is a plus!
