Customer service is terrible. Company purposely gives repair shops a hard time when trying to obtain your vehicle. They do this to bump up your storage fees. Any time I called to ask any type of questions, they were very rude and constantly rushing me off the phone. Please note the Company only takes Cash and Certified cashiers check . Keep in mind, I did not choose this place . Police had my car towed after an accident and gave me their business card and address. Will never use the company again, and recommend others to find another place.

Horrible Customer service. I dont know what type of business that doesnt take any card payments only cash like they are living in the stone age. Their customer service treats you with a lack of dignity and respect. One of those workers screams at you like a dog another worker lady has a horrible attitude she needs to be taught some manners. In general these people need to be tamed and trained, because theres not much difference between a wild dog and screaming bad attitude customer reps.

It is the worst example of a wrecker service. Their business ethnics and practices are absolutely unprofessional, unfriendly, rude and disheartening. The staff is rude and cant have a friendly conversation. If you need a wrecker and the police departments tell you that EastWay is towing your vehicle, Ask for another company. STAY AWAY.After having my truck towed, I tried to go take some personal items from my vehicle. The guy running the desk was an unprofessional, cussed at me, tried to be difficult and even lied multiple times.My truck is being handled with m Insurance company and they have made if difficult for the repair shop to get my truck. Stating they have never heard of another wrecker service thats been around for 50+years. They make it difficult and it will cost you out of pocket even though youre having your insurance company repair your vehicle using a repair shop that they have approved.

They stole my money out of the car then when I went to pick up the car they added $100 more then what I was told .After all that they wanted to call the cops on me After I was told I cant have the manger number and she dont know it .

I missed the signage and parked my car in a tow away zone (after 4pm). 100% my fault. Nice enough folks. Then again... they did tow my car while I was in a meeting, and then charged me $150 four days before Christmas. Kind of a jerk move. Still... nice enough. Two stars. Would not want to have happen again.

These people are thieves. I was in an accident and they held my car until my insurance company was about to get a tow from their lot. Meanwhile, I had belongings in the trunk and my backseat, small items. Neither one of these areas were affected, therefore there was no need for my stuff to get stolen. I called and supposedly the surveillance cameras were checked..... surprising, no one was shown stealing my personal items. Had I known my stuff was going to be taken, I would have taken my entire car to work or had someone come to get my stuff. CMPD called this service, definitely not my choice.

Yes I will say these people are a bunch of crooks how do you sleep at night knowing you done overcharged some one. A $100.00 just to tow a car 10 mins up the street thats a highway robbery with no gun but god got the last say so on these crooks out here.

I drive a repo rollback truck. Most imbounds is crazy but this place was a easy in and out with my two cars!

So my car broke down next door to their location at the QT gas station. Being so close and close to where I needed it towed it surprised me when they charged me $100 to have my car towed 5.2 miles. well, once arriving at the mechanic, my suspicion was confirmed that it should have only cost me $40. And after the day I had with car and phone issues, I now have a mission to never let anyone use them again, who dont want to be taken advantage of. Of course they wont be put out of business, as the city contracts them for towing, making enemies on that side of towing also.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!! I had been in contact with the company on numerous occasions after my accident. I followed up with them and they told me the SOME of the information I needed to know in order to get my car towed to the body shop. I sent them what they needed, then I didn’t hear anything back, so I reached back out to find out they hadn’t even checked their email for DAYS! They continued to let me know what they needed piece by piece! The information was sent over, and once again I didn’t hear anything. So I went into the office to try to resolve it and get my car to the body shop like I needed a week ago. Julie said they hadn’t contacted me by saying, “we don’t check the email often.”, “we don’t contact the customers back.”, “We didn’t receive the email you said was sent!”. All lies. The same email they said they didn’t receive a week before, was pulled up once they actually read their email. Laura was the one who asked for the information and didn’t follow through. Julie gave us the wrong name of the owner of the company when we asked for it, so we had to read a plaque on the wall to find out his real name. Overall I refuse to pay the full storage bill for their mistake and lack of following up! They were arguing with me and it was extremely unprofessional. The customer service was horrible and their attitudes were horrible.

Unfortunately our car got towed from downtown however the driver went above and beyond by giving us a lift to the facility. Everyone I encountered there was good as gold...xoxo

If I could do negative stars I would. My car was stored here for a few months. Upon picking it up there was damage to the rear bumper in excess of $1,000. When I picked up my car I was told, by Tanya at the front desk, that the big-boss would call me that day by 5pm. I never received a call. The following Monday I called again and was brushed off saying I would receive a call back, which never came. The following Thursday I called once again and the woman who answered my call told me they were not responsible for the damage and refused to give me the phone number to speak with her boss. The are unprofessional and rude at the least. Stay clear of this company.

Please avoid this service. Some say that they come when you call and that is fine, but there are others in the area who come when you call and who do not take advantage of people.My sons car was towed by them for a parking violation which is fine, but they did not tell him on the phone at 6PM that if he picked his car up the next morning (his car was towed at 4:30PM) there would be an additional $20 fee and evidently they dont tell anyone that on the phone because there were two other people who received the same surprise. Their answering machine indicated that they open at 6AM and when I arrived at 7:15 to get my sons car, they indicated that they did not open until 8AM and when I told them they needed to change their recording he just said that he didnt make it and couldnt change it.This is a very non-professional service. I understand if you are broken down on the side of the road you just want to get out of that situation. I just ask that you do the community a service and try another more reputable business rather than rewarding a total lack of professionalism. The City of Charlotte should really find better vendors to utilize.

This company wrecked my life. They stole my wallet that contained hundreds of dollars, my school ID, prescription, debit cards. This was an absolutely colossal loss for me on top of having my car totaled. It is completely unacceptable that these people continue to steal from their customers without any legal consequences.

My car was towed by this company supposedly at the request of the city, however, it was not reported in the allotted time the city requires. 5 hours after the tow my car was still not in the system which resulted in me making a stolen vehicle report! A month later I get a letter saying the police department found my car on their lot! They never called my car in! They entered my car in as a completely different car, a different tag number, and no VIN number! THE DMV found my car on their lot, because they investigate towed cars that have been sitting too long! They claim everything is entered correctly but the police department can see that the tried to edit it 3 times... To add more incorrect info I may add! They even tried to edit it AFTER the DMV located my vehicle! This business is shady to say the least, its companies like this that make people not want to use any small business! They stole my car even though they blame the city they are the only people that are benefiting from having my car! Thieves! The city of Charlotte even agrees that they likely tried to steal my car it apparently happens a lot with tow companies! I missed two weeks of work because of these people and Im almost 8 months pregnant! They are pathetic! They want me to pay almost $1000 tbh they should be paying me for all Ive gone through because of them!

When the unthinkable and unimaginable happens they will treat your vehicle with the top priority and security needed until you are able to handle the situation.

This company is the towing service for our community located in the Northlake Area. As a company they refuse to tow cars that are illegally parked within our community if a private resident calls. Our HOA has told us numerous times that they have cleared it for us to call, but Eastway refuses to either A)listen or B) look at the memo from our community.The people who are the dispatchers always seem to not want to listen, and are always jerks. Do not use them as a MAIN towing company for your community!

These people that work for this towing company are liars and crooks!! My truck was towed from Asheville to Charlotte due to a DUI seizure involving my Dads truck. I had my book bag that with personal items and my business planner with my Birth Certificate, social security card and my original Title and land deeds from my property that my mother left me estimated tax value around twenty thousand dollars. I have called the manager several times, on the police inventory sheet, my book bag was listed and they claim, they cant find it. I have pressed charges for identity theft and theft of personal property which is a felony according to NC State Law!! Do NOT USE THESE THEIVES!!!!

The attendant who answered the phone was very impatient and uncooperative. He was upset that I didn’t know where my car had been towed to!

One guy was very unprofessional, almost hit me when I went to require about one of my cars, and was only repeating that questions had to be from Monday to Thursday, and he couldnt answer, while one of the guys from the office was so nice and was giving me information and address of the other location, the nasty skinny guy from the winDow, interrupt him, and finally I could get help.
