Russ and his family made a very stressful situation, very easy. I had an issue where my Juke wasnt starting. I had a brand new battery, and was unsure of the problem. I googled it, and saw it could be some sort of brake switch sensor. I had to get my car towed to a shop, and I just recently moved to the area so I didnt have a mechanic in mind. I found his shop on google, asked if he had time to look at it that day, and he said bring it on over.When I got there, I told him that I obviously dont know much about these things, but that google said it may be the brake sensor switch. He was VERY nice and said that very well could be the problem. He replaced it and held it for a day to make sure that it was operating properly, and then let me know that he felt it was fixed. I asked him if he had time for an oil change while it was there, and he said absolutely. I told him I wouldnt be able to pick it up until the next morning, and he offered to come pick me up! Incredible customer service.This family-run business is a must visit. They even detailed the inside of my car. This family went above and beyond all expectations. Im so happy to have found them!

Here is a good honest mechanic who wants to earn your business. I called to see if they had time to put on 4 new tires. Russ responded I am here to earn your money so yes I have the time. What a great business man. He truly understands the customer signs his paycheck and acts like it. A person is as only as good as their word and Russ is a man of his word. From now on this is where my wife and I will be bringing our vehicles. This is a shop that wants your business and acts like it. If you want your car or truck repaired correctly at a fair price, bring it to Russ

This is the WORST place to ever service my vehicle. SCAM ALERT!!! Do not take your car here. They broke my head light while working on a different part of my car and basically said yes we broke it and there’s nothing you can do about it. And refused to fix it! They ONLY accept cash bc they know there is no way for you to dispute the transaction. VERY RUDE!!!! Terrible customer service!!!!

Friendly- take time to meet your needs. Fair pricing and honest in doing their best to charge you only for what is absolutely needed for your vehicle. They didn’t charge me for the diagnostic because they said that the diagnostic didn’t show any issues and also because the check engine light had gone off. (I had initially had my EPC and “check engine light”come on two days ago).So that was nice of them. They also stayed past their closing hour to make sure they finished working on my car. They care about their customers and work hard. I’d definitely go back 🙂

Found this place through google maps and decided to stop by back in March based on the reviews. I needed an inspection, but I had a busted headlight. Russ called around for a replacement and went to pick it up personally. I forgot the other mechanics name, but he and Russ had great workplace banter and kept me engaged in good conversation the whole time. They took care of everything I needed to pass the inspection and the price was more than fair! This an awesome example of an independent who does very good business. Ill be coming back for all future car repair issues!

Best shop in Charlotte. They make you feel like a priority and always make time available for car repair/maintenance. Came in for some maintenance and was back on the road quickly. I’ve been to literally hundreds of car shops throughout my years and they’re by far one the top places. Great pricing as well! I will recommend this place to everyone!

My tire had a leak and Russ was able to get me in the same day . Fast service, fair prices, and super friendly . I was able to fix my car before picking up my kiddos from daycare and not have to worry about ending up on the side of the road . These guys are by far the best. I went to them for the first time to get a tire and rim replaced and also to check for any other damage from hitting a median from the night before. They replaced the tire rod, struts, two new tires and a rim along with an oil change and on top of that they drove me to my house and got it done in the same day!!! For replacing one radiator and thermostat I was charged $747.00. That is way too much for that job. Cost of a radiator is $150. and labor hours calls for 2 hours. If I pay 100 an hour it should not have cost no 747.00 but just another shade tree mechanic business wise. I think over all their work quality is ok but pricing terrible.

Russ and his son were great to work with. I was rear ended and had previous damage on my back passenger door. The door was rusted and looked horrible. Russ took care of both and he did a fantastic job on my car. He’s a good guy running a good business. Worth your time for sure.

While living in the Charlotte area, I had a few things come up with my vehicle. Russ will work honestly with you to find the best cost-effective solution, based on what you talk about with him. Hell find the best parts for the best price to save you money.I had several things come up and each time Russ was easy to talk to and down-to-earth and real. Jimmy in the shop does great work and backs it up with his word and wants you to tell him if anything goes wrong after he fixes your vehicle. Hell make it right. Great shop and great people, highly recommend to anyone in the Charlotte area who doesnt want to deal with dealerships or big-box car shops.

I found this place online after and after reading all of the super positive reviews I decided to give Russs a call. Russ is a stand up guy. Before I even came in for service he was giving me advice and suggestions. Hes super honest and down to earth. Im not sure how hes making a profit with the prices he quotes. You can come here and relax knowing that youre not going to be ripped off and that youre going to have good quality work done.

Awesome place.took my car here. I was told by every mechanic I knew it would cost 600.00 to a 1000.00 to fix my catalytic converter. Took it here and got A set of tire and the catalytic converter for less. Thanks Russ! This is the only place to get it right the first time.and they make sure you know whats going on. Will never go any where else ever.

These guys do it right! not trying to scam you out of your money. They give their honest opinion and treat your car like it is their own. Even though they were very busy they managed to fit me in. Very happy with the service and will continue to go to them when needed.

Russ put a new key cylinder in the Ford Explorer that I just bought. He did all he could without me having to be there. He called me after the cylinder had been re-keyed to fit my old keys. I drove over after he called and said it was ready. I was out in just about an hour after I arrived. Works great! Kudos, Russ.

Theyre just great people. I had an issue with my car a few weeks ago and being a woman I didnt really know what was wrong. I pulled over and started calling around and came across their number. When I called they had just closed for the day but still offered to help me. They drove to where I was, checked out my car and drove it back to the shop for me and they had my car ready for me the next afternoon. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good, honest mechanic.

Russ is the best! When I moved to Charlotte had an older vehicle that started having troubles. I was scared that seeing a young out of state women I would be taken advantage of. Russ listen to me, went over my options and made me feel at ease. Not only that but he is affordable, after hearing whats was wrong with my car went on some forums to read up on the issues the same repairs costed others far more. And now that I have a newer car he still is my go to guy. I am so appreciative of previous reviews that lead me to him and hope that if your looking for someone this will help you make the right decision and see Russ about your vechile.

Theres 1000 shops in the area that have the same prices and you dont have to deal with this business man. Russ is rude and very disrespectful. I dont know how anyone has every had a positive experience with him. Its better to go here then to the dealership but this man doesnt seem to realize theres a bunch of shops out there fighting for peoples business and just because I came by your shop doesnt mean I have to give you my business. He needs to learn to talk to ppl with decency.I recommend going to shop that is known, reputable and treats customers like they are customers and not a burden. There are plenty in the charlotte area. theres a shop off south blvd with 100 reviews and not a bad one yet.You spend 10 mins with the man that runs this shop and youll have your day ruined.God Bless, Suzy
