The service tech came out and informed me that I needed two new controls to ignite my gas stove top. It cost me a little over $500.00. Three weeks later he came back to install the controllers. Then he informed me that two other burners that were working before he installed his parts werent working now. He told me it was something completely different than what he just installed. He also stated I could turn burners with a match like the other ones, but as it turns out the burners arent getting any gas so they will not work. The man was rude and condescending. Would never recommend them for anything.

Horrible customer service and approach. Came out to look at a dryer that wasn’t heating. Spent very little time repairing a heating element and we were charged $330+. The first time we ran the dryer the next day the vent hose came detached from the back. When I called to report the issue as well as ask for a detailed invoice of the charges he first began telling me that it was my husband’s fault, used patronizing language “let me explain this to you so you understand”, and hung up on me. When I called back moments later and asked him if he was going to speak to me like a professional he calmed down a bit at first but ended up exactly the same. I asked for a copy of an invoice for services performed and he refused to provide anything at all. He then told me to put my husband on the phone since I wasn’t “getting it”. Unbelievable. I have never been treated this way as a consumer.

I believe Josh is he one who supposedly repaired my refrigerator. I called because my fridge wasn’t cooling and I had water leaking at the bottom. He replaced my evaporator. It worked for at least a month then I had the same problem. I called again and Josh came to look at it and said he needed to do more research on it. A a few days later he said he needed to clean the coils on my fridge. About a week later he called/text and I didn’t respond bc I was out of town. He showed up to my house without an appointment as seen on my ring camera. I txtd him to let him know I was out of town. No response. Another month later my fridge is still not cooling and water is still leaking. It also makes a loud noise. I’ve called the main # and reached out to Josh on several occasions and no response. This company is very unprofessional. Wasted $400 for nothing when I could have just purchased a new refrigerator.**Funny how you can respond to this but not the voicemails on your so called business.

Would give them a zero if I could. When I called the person on the phone was short and wouldn’t allow me to explain my issue. He just kept saying the $89 diagnostic would go toward the repair. The tech came and refused to listen to what the issue with the washer was (washer not draining) gave us a bs repair that had nothing to do with drainage. Wanted us to pay $317 and didn’t even bother to really look at the washer - just hit a few buttons. Don’t waste your money. They are rude and not knowledgeable

First and foremost, the technician walked in without a mask when I have my 72 year old Mother in my home. This should of been a red flag for me to ask him to leave. Secondly, he performed services and charged my credit card almost DOUBLE! Additionally, no receipt provided and the services never worked- my freezer is still not working. I tried calling immediately after the service and left a voicemail with no response back. I called again yesterday and left a voicemail and still no response back, This place is a fraud and I will be reporting this to the BBB. DO NOT TAKE A RISK WITH THIS DISHONEST BUSINESS.

Do not use this company. They did not completed the service job and weeks went by with no follow up so I had to contact them. They also charged my card twice without my knowledge or authorization while also leaving themselves a $30 tip. Dont waste your time!

For the to the point Reader:Buyer Beware!Positives: nice, attentive, reliable (with timing and response)Negatives: extreme misdiagnosis, not willing to send a quote or part numbers, somewhat unprofessional, and beyond expensive ($600 v $300 - apples to apples). The thing they quoted $600+ for, wasnt even the issue, because they never looked under the hood of the ice maker (which was the problem). The thing they quoted $600+ for to fix (that wouldnt have even fixed the real issue), another company fixed it for $180.You can thank me later: Do not waste $96 on a misdiagnosis like I did. Take an extra 10-20 minutes to explore other organizations that received higher stars. Or, just follow me to see who I gave a 5 star to. I just saved you at least almost $100. Want to split the difference ;)?For the more detailed Reader:I will say, the person that came out was nice and they are responsive, so perhaps a 2 star is more deserving based on that; however, I cant bring myself to providing a 2 star. Sadly, we wasted $96 (after taxes) for a complete misdiagnosis. Im so thankful that we didnt move forward with the suggested $600+ repair that was suggested for our fridge/freezer that we payed $550 for. Additionally, I was surprised that we didnt receive an actual quote of what needed to be done, but now I can see why. We received a quote for the exact same thing they suggested from another company for half the price. Then, when the other company came out, they actually were able to get off the thing SD said they couldnt, which was actually where the problem existed, but SD never checked under the hood. The quote of $600+ for SD to fix our refrigerator, another company fixed for $180. Take the extra 10-20 minutes to look for a company that does it right. You will save a lot of money in the long run.

One of the techs came to repair my dryer that wasn’t heating. The tech diagnosed the issue less than 3 minutes. He made the “so-called” necessary repairs, for it to COMPLETELY stop working the following day. The fact that I paid $210 for a heating issue, and for the dryer to completely shut down, is disheartening. The tech was very short with communication and NOT friendly. I’ve been calling them for two days to fix the issue...no one has answered.

Called Josh explained to him what was going on with my appliance, sent him model number, he had in stock showed up on time fixed appliance very quickly and was gone.. really nice guy! price was good especially for a last minute service call!.. thank you Josh! I would recommend and if I have another appliance problem I’ll call..

This business owner “bait and switched” me with a false quote over the phone versus what he charged me in person. Then he bullied me into writing a google review in front of him. When I politely declined he stormed out of my house and slammed my front door. This is no way to do business!!!!

I had this company come out in March to repair a wine cooler. The tech said it just needed Freon. I paid $175 for the service. It worked 2 weeks and stopped cooling again. 30 day warranty so I called again. In April They sent a different tech who said it needed a new part. I said, so I shouldn’t pay for this right? He said, no this is a different problem so I was charged $145. He put on a new part and left immediately without checking to see if it worked. I reloaded the wine and went outside. In a few minutes I came back inside and smelled something burning. Like electrical wires. I pulled the wine cooler out of the cabinet and it was smoking. I unplugged it and called them back. No answer. Over the next four months I have called emailed and texted. I got no response. I occasionally reach a human and am told they will “look into it and refund my money”. 4 months and counting. If I hadn’t walked back into my kitchen when I did my house would have caught on fire. After spending over $300 in repairs we threw the wine cooler away and bought a new one. There is no address for their business so I can’t go to their office. I tried calling the BBB but was put on hold too long. This company is unprofessional and the owner is a liar. I would not recommend them ever to anyone. They do NOT RESPOND when you have a problem.Will continue to try and report them to BBB.

He answered my phone call and texts promptly, arrived on time, made the repair, and cleaned up the area afterward. I spent $69 to just been told I need to spend $300+ to replace suspension for my 5-year old washer? Technician came in and looked at the washer for like one minute to give me this conclusion without any further check or explanation.

OMG I dont know where to start this is the most unprofessional place i have ever came in contact with i had to order a piece for my refrigerator yes it took him 2.5sec to accepted my money but almost 2 weeks for the part to come in I called jst to ask any word on my part because he never called an said it is on the way or nothing Tony thats the name he gave me was VERY rude on the phone yelling at me an swearing at me all I ask was do u have any information on the part i will never never recommend this company to anyone

Joshua came same day and eve earlier than predicted. He quickly diagnosed the problem with our side by side refrigerator/freezer and had the unit running well under an hour. I was very pleased with all aspects of his service, plus he was very polite and professional. I strongly recommend him.

First I would like to thank Same day appliance for superior service! The service technician was very knowledgeable, professional and thorough. I had an issue with my dryer taking extremely too long to dry, i felt i would definitely need a new one. Anyhow the technician came to my house at the specified time,which is great so you are not left waiting all day, he not only repaired my dryer by replacing a part that the had on hand and he also replaced my hose for free which is not a free service. My overall experience was positive and i was charged a fair price versus the cost of replacement and it was completed in the same day. Good work :)

I never had Joshua do any work for me but he sure helped me out when my truck stalled on I-85....he stopped and helped when most wouldn’t have because of the traffic zipping past us at speeds well over 60+mph. He helped me get my truck to the side of the road to safety, drove me to get the assistance I needed brought me back and never charged me a dime. My home warranty company sent this company out to diagnose and fix a leaky water line on my fridge. He ordered the part and came out to finish the repairs friday morning. During the visit (wearing shorts and loafers) he drained the fridge onto the floor and had to ask for a bath towel. After Tech completed the work he assuredme the original problem was fixed. Great so I leave for work ...That evening, I return home from work to find a puddle of water and that several hardwood panels have now buckled up. Upset now, I trace the leak back to the fridge and discovered that he did not tighten the water supply source and that its been leaking all day.Now I have to replace several water damaged hardwood planks.Dont let this company do any work in your house. Im glad this wasnt a gas line

After taking a $200 deposit for a part the owner claims the tec ran off with the money and his response to me was you have been duped and has refused to send a refund and in addition the tec also repaired a dryer and it’s still has the same issue. Run far away from this company and save your money.

Mr. Joshua came to our home and was quite unprofessional and rude. He did not fix our refrigerator and was extremely discourteous. I would not recommend this company to anyone. After paying a few hundred dollars for the repair, my refrigerator still does not work properly. Im very disappointed in the customer service.

I recently had issues with my washing machine stopping in the middle of the cycle and found myself stressed out not knowing where to turn for help. I was then referred by a close friend to call the Same Day Appliance Service to repair my washing machine. When I called, I spoke with a very professional and knowledgeable representative named Joshua. He gathered my personal and appliance information, confirmed when he could provide service and showed up right on time. He was very considerate when entering my home and remained professional throughout his visit. He was very diligent in repairing my washing machine and helpful by providing me with additional knowledge to maintain the life and of my washer. I was so pleased with the service I just had to share my experience and hope that others support this wonderful company.

Terrible service and very unknowledgeable technicians. We made the mistake of following their guidance and had their technician repair our dishwasher for half the cost of a new one. Later we had the same issue. Joshua said it was outside their warranty period. When I asked when they could come back to assess the issue he was unable to have a technician out for 5 days. When I inquired why they couldnt have someone come out sooner and how their name was a misnomer, Joshua hung up on me.

Where to begin!!! We called on Saturday for a dryer that produces electrical smells and noises when running. We scheduled an appt for noon on Sunday, was told we would get a call prior to arrival. We cacncelled plans to ensure he had the time he needed to fix. As noon approached no contact, we called and was told it would be around 1:30...no explanation. When Josh arrived he brought his 5 year old kid. Upon entering our house Josh never told the kid to sit and be still instead after we told the kid our cat doesn’t take to strangers his child proceeded to chased our cat into our master bedroom room which is on the opposite end of the house where his father was. After the kid scared our cat by chasing him all over our room and hide under the bed, I had to negotiate with the kid to stop crawling under our bed. One so he would stop scaring our cat and two I have guns under the same bed. We were never warned or asked if bringing a kid would be okay. While I was trying to babysit a kid who was getting into everything. My boyfriend was in the kitchen with Josh. Josh seemed very rushed and un-interested in the reason for the service call. He took the panel off the dryer cut the dryer on for less than a minute and said he couldn’t basically witness what we were experiencing. He asked if we had wet clothes available to put in the dryer. Which we didn’t (wouldn’t have not taken much to get those). He then proceeded to argue with my boyfriend after Josh said if the problem is the motor he could quote us a price, my boyfriend had already researched a new and used replacement for a hundred or so more dollars than Joshs quote to repair. He was arguing to be able to come and fix the motor, he did offer to put the cost of this service call towards the new motor, quote was for approx 450. Charged us $107 for the service call then demanded cash. This was not mentioned when the appointment was set up, so a check was accepted. All in all $107 for a late appointment 15 mins of his time, and his kids terror on my cat and invasion of personal space. After discussing this over the evening and next morning, we felt the whole experience was tacky, unprofessional, and just plan rude so we put a hold on the check. Hold was placed on Monday...Thursday Josh shows up to our house at just after 9am. We were woken up with this man in our open bedroom window yelling at us. In which he threatened a lien on our house (we are renters), and that what we had done was illegal. He only left after we told him he was trespassing with a threat of calling the law was issued. We have contacted the BBB.DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! UNPROFESSIONAL and highly INAPPROPRIATE on multiple levels!!!! This man is a con-artist no other way of putting it. I hate even rating this service a 1 Star.

Josh came to our home looked at our refrigerator he actually cut out the relay and said that we needed a new compressor. He then asked for half of the money up front, said he would be back on Monday and never showed. Needless to say we canceled the check and are now stuck with a destroyed refrigerator, that the Sears repair man has said is beyond repair. So avoid this company like the plague, they will not only destroy your appliance, they will do so in an attempt to defraud you out of your money. Josh you should be ashamed of yourself.

Never use this company!! Called to ask about a service call and the man told me 89.00. Then I asked if he would have parts available to fix it on site. The man hung up on me. Then when I have him the benefit of maybe it was an error. I called back and he was very rude agreed he hung up on me because he didn’t want to work. Very disrespectful and horrible way to run a company! Never use them!!!
