We needed new AC units (inside and out) as the system Kirkland installed 23 years ago, finally died. Caleb, Lance and Matt worked long hours for 2 days to get the new system up and running, despite the unexpected need to bring an electrician in (props to Scott Ewing at Ewing Electric for his almost immediate availability). We have used Kirkland AC for 25 years and could not recommend them more highly! Love supporting small/family businesses!

From discovering an existing gas leak at the meter to fixing the unfiltered vent that was acting as a return and even the insanity of correcting wiring from the previous home owner’s hack job to get us up to code and safe… the folks at Kirkland took great care of us and our budget to make us safe and comfortable for many years to come. Couldn’t be happier right now!

Highly recommend Kirkland for all heating and cooling needs. Matt was extremely thorough and knowledgeable in assessing our 1929 bungalow’s many heating issues. It has only been 30 minutes since he has left and the main floor hot air flow has improved greatly. We have had a maintenance contract with Kirkland for well over 20 years. I trust their honesty, service and professionalism. When repairs have been needed, they provided detailed explanation about the issue and a reasonable cost for the replacement part. We have a very old HVAC and we know a new unit will be needed sometime. We appreciate that all the Kirkland techs are always efficient and helpful, especially Josh. He did a repair this appointment, so the unit keeps on working with Kirkland.

We have always had exceptional service from Kirkland Air Conditioning and Heating, but I have to give a special shout out to tech, Devin. We had a sound that could only be heard inside the house. After studying on it for a few minutes, Devin went under the house and found the problem. He was able to replace the part and he waited for the unit to run for a while so we could be assured that the problem was solved. Expertise and great customer service!

These techs were fantastic. I have been with Kirkland since I moved to the area in 2012. Each and every time my needs have been met. This last time was a super experience as we had temps in the 20’s overnight and furnace didntWork Matt did a overnight fix for me prior to my new install. He was super in his total concern for my comfort. His colleague Devin joined him for the removal and install. And, of course Tom who handled the purchase of my new furnace. All three employees had only my needs at the front of their minds. Also of note, they were both Covid aware which is a comfort to someone in a high risk category.I would give the more than 5 stars if I could.

I first became acquainted with Kirkland Air Conditioning and Heating last summer, when my AC of 14 years gave up the ghost. Rhonda, the receptionist, is wonderful, friendly, and efficient. Tom, the sale rep, is friendly, honest, and reliable. He gave me a great quote, was thorough in my options and did not try to needlessly upsell me. Of the four HVAC companies I had contacted for a quote, I had the best experience with Kirkland, as well as one of the lowest quotes. The team that did my HVAC replacement was Matt, Devin, and Josh. I believe Matt was the lead that time and he did a wonderful job of keeping me appraised of their progress. They took better care in keeping my house free of debris than I do. They made sure to put protective padding/carpeting down *everywhere* and did such a good job cleaning up that you couldnt tell they had ever been there. The York HVAC system is excellent.When my 15 year old furnace died, I contacted Kirkland without hesitation. Rhonda was again excellent. Josh came out for the initial visit to determine the problem. There was a miscommunication as to what was the reason for the visit--he had been informed that there was an issue with the thermostats when actually I needed the furnace looked at. (When I made the call to Kirkland, I said it was either the thermostats, the wiring, or the furnace. So, easy communication error.) Josh handled the situation beautifully and proceeded to check the thermostat, the breakers, and ultimately, the furnace. I am a curious individual, so he also graciously let me watch him figure out the furnace. He was thorough and checked out every option that could be the problem. Once he isolated the issue, he take care to explain what was happening in laymans terms. The blower on the furnace had broken down; he explained how the safety system on the gas furnace kicks in when the blower does not work. Which was the reason why the whole system shut down (and randomly turned on...then shut down.). Aha! Well, I was glad that the safety system worked and my house did not burn down! Given the limitations of my work schedule, Josh, Rhonda (the receptionist) and Tom (the sales rep) worked it out that Tom could come out later that same afternoon to help me determine what systems I could use to replace the current furnace.Two weeks later (I have few openings in my work schedule), the team arrived to replace my furnace. It was pretty much the same team that did my HVAC--Josh, Matt, and Sean. Josh was the lead this time and kept me appraised of their progress. They finished ahead of schedule and once again, were diligent about keeping the house clean from the debris. Matt offered to replace me filters--yay!!--and even showed me how to set a reminder on my crazy-fancy thermostats to replace my filters every 90 days. Bonus!Everyone associated with Kirkland is wonderful. A friend recommended them to me and I recommend them with confidence and gratitude.

Illustrative when performing routine bi annual service and tech noticed unusal water beneath the house, it turned out I had a water leak I did not know about. I called Kirkland when my AC gave out. The tech, Shane, was very professional and friendly. He came within the time frame that was given to me. After looking at my system he provided me with options for either fixing or replacing my unit. He didnt try and make a hard sale but provided me with the costs involved that helped me make the most cost efficient choice. Another technician, David came out the next day to replace my unit. He was also very professional and friendly. There was an issue in getting it completely running and he contacted other technicians for assistance and advice. They came, stayed and tested and made sure it was working before they left even though it was later in the evening. After I mentioned how late it was getting, they told me that they wanted me to be satisfied and the system working before they left rather than taking my time and having to come back out the next day. I really appreciate David, Shane, Andrew and Cameron for putting in the system. They were all very personable. They provided me with excellent service and I will continue to call Kirkland.

Over the years, they have provided my real estate hvac inspection, replaced 2 A/C units, and maintained all of my systems.It can be uncomfortable and frustrating to receive bad news about costly repairs that are needed to your HVAC system; however, Kirkland has always been open and honest about any needed repairs as well as fully willing to explain why repairs are needed for the longevity and safety of your systems.Matthew is the tech who usually comes to service my units at my home nowadays and he is efficient and willing to go the extra mile for the customer. Rhonda in the front office is always pleasant and provides great customer service whenever I call the office for something.In a saturated market full of “big box”, huge, impersonal (and in some cases unethical) companies complete with fancy TV commercials; do yourself a favor and choose a local, family owned company who will treat you as a real person and not just as a revenue source!

This last heating check up I felt was necessary because the Trane unit Kirkland installed 22 years ago was due for a diagnostic for the cold season approaching. A professional young man did what I asked him and he gave my gas heating unit a clean bill of health. Over the years, Kirkland and Co. did not take advantage of me. A compressor wash here, some Freon there, a woren compressor part, the unit keeps on trucking ! 11-12-19

The entire experience was great! I called with an AC problem, and right at the proposed time, the tech arrived. Matt was very friendly and knowledgeable. Just went into my crawlspace 1.5 years after Kirkland was at our house. I had to go under for something else. I was shocked and angered to find a 8 round opening, or boot (not sure of the correct term) on the main trunk that is supposed to have a ductwork branch connected to it. It was WIDE open and spewing cold air into my crawlspace. This cool air is, of course, combining with the moisture in the air to create puddles and water drops clinging to the other ductwork. So, this has been spewing cold air in the summer (last summer and this summer) as well as warm air in the winter time into my crawlspace for 1.5 years!!! What professional company does not verify their own work?! This is on top of other work that we had asked for that didnt happen and makes me wonder about the work that was done. We had contacted Daphne Kirkland but she never got back with us. We had installed all new windows in our house, expecting our electric bill to be much smaller, but is never was. Now I know why! We were conditioning our crawlspace for 1.5 years. Very angry and incredibly disappointed. We are examining our options for recourse.

Excellent experience with Kirkland! We had new units put in last summer, and their maintenance policy with routine check ups has been a big plus. Thanks to Matthew and Luis for helping fix up a project on a return grill! Wasnt something on the original plan for their visit, but they happily did it.

Shane with Kirkland came out within hours of our call on a Monday morning. We received the companys name as a referral from a friend in the construction business and also read positive reviews about the company on Angies List. Our experience was a good one, as Shane diagnosed the problem, repaired the system, and also performed maintenance on the other two house systems. He was here for several hours and handled the work in a professional manner, outlining the possible options to handle the situation. We were very pleased and plan to contact Kirkland again in the fall to take a look at the heating systems. It was a relief to get our A/C problem fixed so quickly and efficiently.

We have used Kirkland for a number of years to service our HVAC at home. Recently we needed to replace our system due to age (+20 years) and decided to ask Kirkland to do the job for us. We got other quotes for the job and Kirklands was less expensive, plus we had prior experience with them servicing our old system. We have been pleased with the new system and the management (Tom) and install (Bryan, Shane, Matt, Josh) teams did an excellent job answering our questions and installing the new system, which was a Trane Air Conditioner and Gas Package unit as well as new duct work throughout and a new thermostat. I definitely recommend Kirkland - they are great to work with.

Today, Matthew and Andrew came out to do the semi annual service. KIRKLAND has been servicing our HVAC systems for years. Their guys always show up when promised, are neat, have the tools and expertise to keep these things running flawlessly.They come out twice a year, check everything, clean and check all the stuff the internet recommends, take some things apart and put them back together.What I really like is that Matthew took the time to show me what he was doing, sort of like show and tell. Every time he said can you come here so I can show this I expected a problem. There was no problem just a free education.Their trucks are clean, the fellows are clean, polite and personable. Their equipment and tools are clean and organized.Most important, at our house it is warm in winter and cool in summer.

Matt did a great job providing prompt, friendly and honest service and was quickly able to diagnose and repair my upstairs a/c. Went the extra mile to make sure everything was working ok. Would definitely recommend Kirkland to a friend.
