They are very special and prices are reasonable for what you want. I love the Cats Eye polish. They offer you a drink as soon as you walk in the door, alcoholic or non-alcoholic. Your choice!

I came to Charleston for my destination wedding, after two cancelled covid weddings in my hometown of Indianapolis. We wanted to go somewhere warm, historic and charming and met so many incredible people while we were here, in particular at this nail salon. My MUA for my wedding recommended this place to us. I came in on a Tuesday with my Mom to get mother of the bride nails and bride nails for me, the woman who greeted us at the door was SO friendly and SO welcoming. She was very kind and made us both feel so special and spoiled. We explained what we wanted to her and she paired us with the best tech she could. My Mom had Steven for a mani and pedi and I had Pretty for my nails. Pretty went ABOVE AND BEYOND all expectations for my nails and spent SO much time making sure they were absolutely perfect for my big and special day. She was so much fun to talk to, very polite and professional, and made me feel so beautiful. She took care of every single cuticle and nail, making sure all of them were perfect and lined up evenly for all the pictures. She took her time and made sure everything was the way I wanted it. She is an artist and truly loves what she does. Every nail Tech should treat their customers exactly how Pretty treated me. If I lived in Charleston, I would go out of my way to see Pretty again. Thank you Pretty for EVERYTHING you did to make me feel so special, I will miss you!! Thank you both for making my Mom and I feel beautiful.

I wish I could still recommend this place but I can’t. This used to be my go to spot downtown but lately the professionalism is off. The girl manager is great but the guy is SO RUDE. It was over an hour wait for a gel manicure on a Wednesday. They told me it would just be a second and left me sitting there for an hour with no explanation. I understand they are busy but the high price doesn’t match the experience lately.

Always a great experience here, and today was no different. I’ve been to this location numerous times, always great service and amazing results. Cloe and Quihn were Fantastic! I will be booking appointments with them from now on!!

I was referred to nail so dep by a client whom hair I cut, stopped in on a Monday for a polish change, I was taken to, a station and told it would be 10-15 mins, when she came over I asked for nail repair on toe and was never serviced after another 15 mins, I guess if its not a Pedi your not special, 😜 treat every service top notch

I received a dip manicure by Emmy before my wedding, and let me just say IT IS PERFECTION. She artfully executed the most perfect bridal off/white (Prosecco and American White.) The color I originally picked didn’t turn out as planned (just Prosecco) and the workers were so accommodating and changed the color no questions asked (which was a ton of work for a dip manicure.) She also buffed the nail with meticulous attention and created a crisp clean edge with a needle-like buffer. The Nails So Dep staff really cares about their clients, and I would happily recommended this nail salon to the Queen of England.

I have visited this nail salon weekly for the last month for different services and to bring different people in. Their customer service is amazing and Vanessa always offers a welcoming experience. They are also innovative in nail design. I wanted a color block design with dipping powder. I checked 3 other local nail salons who could not provide what appears like a simple design. They achieved my look at Nails so Dep without hesitation. And it was beautifully and meticulously done by Emy.

I walked in and ask for a acrylic set and toe polish change. They never offered me a seat. The guy comes and ask if he could help i showed him what i wanted he said 1hr wait come back tomorrow. So leave and 4 white people without appointments walk in and i know they didn’t have appointments because i asked them. Anyway i look thru the big glass and they are showing them to the pedicure chairs!! Wow i guess I’m not welcome!

I came in today for a pedi and fill in. It wasn’t friendly at all, very rude & they don’t greet you at the door. It’s filthy with flies everywhere & way over priced. A fill in will run you about a $100 literally. I honestly have never experienced a worst pedicure til now, it was 12 mins I kid you not. I asked for a foot massage & Kathy proceeded to get upset & said she would need to time it & charge me an extra $10. Will never go back not worth a cent.

Jay was wonderful he took care of my nails right then and there they told me it would have been a wait six people ahead of me I told him it would be worth the wait good things come to those who wait I was in that chair I serve a mighty good God

I adore this place! Clean, safe, gorgeous, friendly, etc. I have the worst, smallest, chewed-up nails and Nails So Dep makes them look fabulous and soft. I got a full set of acrylics and dip and a basic pedicure. I feel so pampered when I come here. The polish lasts forever and theyre so accommodating with anything you need.

I have been going to NSD for about a year now and I am SO HAPPY we finally have a professional, clean, and genuine establishment. I have never had to wait, like many others on the peninsula. Additionally, they have wonderful upgrades that I indulge in for pedicures. I honestly cannot say more kind words about this place. And Vanessa is the most wonderful and among others there, always has a smile on her face.

Plenty of space for walk ins, very clean, welcoming and a good mimosa! They take the full experience seriously. 👍👍

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! My husband and I were visiting from out of town and wanted to get mani/pedis. We stopped here and we are so glad we did. They were very professional and did excellent work. I’ve been going to this salon for a couple of years now and even moving out to Summerville, SC I still make the drive to downtown Charleston! Never a wait, friendly staff, great customer service, and I always love my nails leaving there! Definitely recommend for manicures and pedicures!!

Owner or manager was completely hovering over employees and customers. The atmosphere was very uninviting and cold, I felt like I was in a doctors office. There was no spa music playing and where I was directed to pick my color out it was extremely disorganized. He then didnt tell me the total until I ask him before handing him my card. He also charged me an EXTRA $8 for the shape of my nail I wanted, which I changed because I didnt like it!!!!!! Keep in mind my pedicure was $36 dollars!!!! Overall not happy with my experience. My nail technicians were very friendly though which I liked.

If we didnt live over 2000 miles away this would become our new spot and even with the distance Im considering making it my new place to get my nails done. Everyone was kind and attentive while making sure everything stayed clean.

This place is great! Me and two others went for Mani/Pedis.The techs took great care of us. Their equipment was very clean and top of the line. They had beverages and TVs for use to enjoy. Not to mention the amazing message chairs.They use plenty of product on you and it was a lavish experience for a very fair price!I highly suggest giving this place a try!

Very over priced for the quality and work that is done. I got solid color sns nails and less than half of it painted like a design. They charged me $25 extra for it and never told or let me know it was extra until I checked out. They chipped 2 days later. Not to mention they were all talking right in front of me laughing which did not feel good. Never again.

Even with appointment and being on time it took forever. Also they charged for gel when that is not what was asked for. Not work over $100 for 2 adults and a kid!

The places is nice. all the employees was so nice. I will not be returning because it is too expensive. I pay $93.50 to be exact for gel manicure on my real nail ($41.00), classic pedicure that don’t include the removal calluses off your foot ($36.00), special service putting acrylics on my big toes ($16.00) And Transaction Fee ($0.50). I normally pay $45.00 when I go to my regular nail shop.

I absolutely love this place! This is my second time there. I got a manicure last time and I got splashed by a car walking in and they were all so nice to me! Brought me towels to dry off and made sure I was ok. This time I brought my boyfriend in for a pedicure with me and they put us in a private room, The whole experience was so amazing. I went and got a gel manicure here and it chipped the day after. After 3 days the whole nail polish on my thumb came off. I also had two of my other nails chip and it hasn’t even been a week! I don’t know the name of the guy who did my nails. I will not be coming back to this place. I spent $40 on a gel manicure that was a waste of my money.

Exceptional service! I have been going there since they opened and refuse to go to anywhere else. I always used Jay for my nail technician because he does a super amazing job on my SNS Dipping Powder. I always use either Andy or Dan for my pedicure because they are both extremely thorough & give the best massages. I get the signature or herbal pedicure with gel polish. I never leave disappointed or dissatisfied! I will continue to go and the definitely think that it’s worth the money if you enjoy great service, not feeling rush and being pampered! It’s worth a dollar!!!

Amazing experience!!! My bridesmaid booked this place the day before my wedding for me and my bridesmaids. They treated us like royalty! When we got there, we were immediately sat in the comfy massage chairs and before I knew it, all 4 of us had two employees at our sides working on our hands and our feet! The hospitality was amazing and the mimosas plentiful! My nails looked great for my wedding! Thank you guys for doing such an amazing job and providing top notch service! I have never had such amazing service at a nail salon and I will definitely be back!

I just came in to get my nails removed, but I had a great experience. I was in and out in under 15 minutes! I have never been able to get a full set removed that fast. The staff were really nice. I will be going back for my next set.

By far one of the most overpriced worth nail shops Ive ever been to they dont tell you at first that the gel polish at the jail nails is to separate think they charge extra $20 for gel polish and they charge you $35 to have the ability regular gel pink and white nails done to your hand please do not be fooled by their hospitality they are way overpriced if you can please find somewhere else to go because they are absolutely not worth the money I normally spend 40 no more than 45 what I had done they wanted $57 and if I felt like being in that mood I would have given you what I had and left they could have called the police on me for all I care.

They did a great job on my gel nails that were not done good by another shop. I loved my nails.

Literally came in for acrylic white tips. They charged me $65 and I had to come back less than a week latter because all of my nails began picking Up and falling off. Ruined my eyebrows by 4 DIFFERENT PEOPLE to do them and make them uneven and thin. They even left wax on my brow and when I told them about it they just gave me a blank stare and still expected me to lay without a discount or apology. Not worth the money especially considering you just fighting off fruit flys half the time

Me and 2 of my girlfriends were there a few weeks ago. We got the Signature Spa and we were given complimentary mimosas! The lady, Vanessa, at the front was super nice and attentive! The nail techs were great! And the best part was the place was SO clean!

I hadn’t gotten my nails done in years, and was looking forward to finally getting gel tips. The girl who did my nails did ok, but she was definitely rushing, even after she told me they hadn’t been busy all day. She barely talked, while everyone else was having conversations with their customers. 3 of my nails have open spots where she missed my nail along the sides. 2 of my nails have discoloration on them where the powder wasn’t applied evenly. She didn’t push my cuticles back, and I’m afraid to do so bc I know it’ll make it look like I need a fill-in in a week. Not a horrible experience. But for $57, where the price on the menu says $45, t wasn’t all that worth it. There are too many other nail salons in the area for such rushed, careless mistakes.

Just another over priced and substandard nail salon. My nails popped off clean in one week and they charged me 26 dollars for my 8 years old manicure. Thought I would try something new in my area but the experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Just like that hot water you gave me and my kids. Im going back to my regular spot.

I just moved here about a week ago, and went here to get my nails done after my engagement. They did a wonderful job, and were super friendly. The interior is beautiful, and I was immediately offered something to drink.10/10 recommend. Will be coming back!

I have been getting my nails done since I was a teenager and never before did I develop a fungus underneath my acrylic set. On March 19, 2020 I contacted the manager about the fungus and he there. to be interrogating me more than trying to rectify the matter. I went by the salon after speaking with him and he asked me to pay $11.00 to remove the rest of the nails after he saw how it looked. No apology or nothing. He also kept asking who did it and when M inshowed him he tried to make a joke about my description of the person. I will never go back in ther.

I have been to many nail salons around Charleston and this one is GREAT! Clean, open, beautiful view of the bridge and PARKING. It’s in the same building as Meeting Street Lofts and is a beautiful salon. Get yo’ nails done!

I visited this nail salon for the first time last Friday. The service was great and my nails were beautiful when I left, but by the next day, all the gel polish was chipped on my nails. I went back and they redid all my nails for free, but by the end of the day, my nails were chipped again. I’m not quite sure what the issue is but I’ve never experienced this problem before.

Everyone here is super nice. Vanessa makes you feel right at home and the teams work wonderfully together to get your mani & pedi at once! Super clean, very relaxing, great refreshments and fantastic gel manis, they last forever.

I am extremely disheartened with the customer service I received today. Since the shop opened I’ve been a loyal customer and been recommending people to receive their services. However, today left a bad reputation of the business. I received a full sns set and signature pedicure last Tuesday. I called on Thursday to let you the shop know that my nails were chipping but I was out of town and could not come back in until after I returned to get it fixed. I was reassured everything was okay and I can come back in. Called this morning and spoke to the man who answered the phone to let him know I was coming in, he told me although the tech was not in to still come and get my nails fixed. But when I visited they stated I would have to pay to get my nails done even though that was not an error on my behalf. I’ve never had a bad sns set until I came here, and the way I was dismissed and not legitimized or given the service is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at a place branded to be a luxury spa experience.

It was AWSOME they made sure my kids and I were comfortable. Very nice staff

I must say I was looking for a top reviewed salon since I was taking a cruise out of Charleston. I guess they must’ve paid people for the positive reviews. They won me with the mimosas! I asked the lady upfront what the prices would be! I had one lady working on my hands another lady working on my feet! I thought I was getting the star treatment. Come to find out when my job was done my bill was $135. They charged me for things I didn’t think was legal to charge, i.e. ( nail length) really? SNS advertised as $45 and charged $50. Pedicure $35 and was charged $50. Because I got gel polish and a million and one other excuses to why they over charged me. The same day my nails chipped and my gel was smeared! So a terrible job and customer service at this place! They will never ever get my business again.

Best experience on helbal pedicure with hot stone at Nail So Dep today...l was so tire after a long road trip and decided to stop by at the new Nails place in 601 Meeting St...Im so with the service there! Highly recommend !! Cant wait to be returned 😍😍

I had SNS put on my nails which usually looks great for 3-4 weeks when I had it done at other salons, but at Nails So Dep it started chipping after a week and a half. When I went back and showed them they did nothing.

Gel polish started to peel off the next day, and a fill-in cost me $70. Ridiculous

Got a pedicure and dip manicure, both beautiful! Exactly what I wanted, plus great prices and amazing ambiance.

For the price I paid, I was very disappointed. The technician was confused about what I wanted (even after writing down what service I came for), twice had to re-do a nail while putting on the setting clear coat, and 4 of my nails have color unevenly spread/areas missing paint. He didn’t check to see if my nails were sized evenly after filing them down so I had to do that myself once I got home. I will not be returning to this salon.
