Great service, great prices, thank you Martha
She did such a great job on my business skirt! It was done quickly and was relatively inexpensive. I needed to get it taken in a couple inches at the waist. She did the alteration so neatly and subtly, I actually thought that nothing had been done when I got home and started examining it. I couldnt tell one bit that it had been altered, so I nervously tried it on, only to find that it fit perfectly! I definitely will return here in the future.
Do NOT go to this place. My shirt was supposed to be ready Wednesday, but I couldn’t get out there so I went Thursday and she hadn’t even bought the supplies to replace the zipper I needed replaced. I received no call or warning and no apology for not having it done. When I finally went to pick it up, she had put a navy blue zipper into my black shirt ... I will not be recommending this place to anyone, in fact, I’ll be telling people to steer clear.
My experience was great! She was fast and so nice, good price. I went to a high rated place before and the lady told me she could have it ready in 2 weeks, Ms Martha did it in less than 5 minutes! I’m definitely coming back if needed!
Amazing service and prices. A treasure to West Ashley and can not be replaced. Thank you.
I had a bridesmaid dress altered back in Feb/March of this year (2015) and Martha did a GREAT job! She managed to do it quickly and for a great price! I definitely recommend!! THANK YOU!
I messed up a very important and sentimental tie of my boyfriends on accident. I was freaking out to say the least and she took care of had it looking brand new within 5 mins. She instructed me on how to care for the tie in the future. Very sweet lady and I will take my future alterations to her!!
I chose this shop because it was close to my salon, so thought it would be convenient to drop off a dress for alternations and pick it up, in spite of Marthas limited business hours. It wasnt worth all of the trouble. I never received a call to let me know my dress was ready, so when I returned from a work trip, I tried to call - three times. I got no answer and couldnt leave a voicemail. I also emailed Martha twice and still got no reply. I finally decided to stop by one day while I was running errands, but her shop still wasnt open by 12:30 pm, even though shes supposed to open at noon.I finally got her on the phone a few days later and was able to pick my dress up. She did a good job, but the shop is messy, smells like fast food, and was overpriced for the quality of service she delivers. I wouldnt use her shop again.
I went in despite negative reviews to ask for my dress to be altered. The other reviews are correct. The shop is messy and cluttered, and she was watching tv while sewing when I came in. Between limited business hours and ridiculous time frames, I was VERY dissatisfied. She held my dress for 2 weeks and when I tried to pick it up a few days early, I was told she could have it done the next day. If thats the case, then why wasnt it done already? I had to desperately search for another person to do it in an extremely short time because of her. Most other businesses were closed by then for the hurricane. Will not recommend and will not return.
Great seamstress but I left twice because it wasnt open as the hours state. Not sure I can try a third time. West Ashley is too busy to drive through without reason.
Ive taken several items to Martha and she always does a great job and is so sweet. She has my business as long as she stays open. Thanks Martha, you rule! :-)
This place is kind of a hole in the wall of Wapoo, but Martha actually does a great job for a cheap price. She doesnt give a lot of input on exactly how your suit, etc should fit, but other than that I wouldnt go anywhere else. Shes a nice lady and does a great job for a a great price. The turnaround time is quick too.
If I could give Just A Tuck 0 stars I would.First off, the business is a large room with piles and piles of clothing on top of whatever hidden furniture is underneath. When I dropped the dress I wanted taken in off Martha told me she could have it done in my tight timeline of a week. She then sloppily drew three chalk lines on one side of my dress, looked at the seaming and mentioned it would be difficult because it was unique (true), and sent me on my way. I reminded her she didnt yet have my name of phone number so she took that and the day I wanted to pick it up and told me to come between 2 and 4.Well, I go to pick the dress up and SHE HAD NOT EVEN DONE ANYTHING TO IT. She mentioned again how the seaming was too difficult and so she just didnt do it. I was shocked, especially that she had not even tried to call and tell me she couldnt do it. If she had let me know I would have tried to take it to another tailor as opposed to leaving the dress sitting there for a week with nothing done. Please heed my advice and avoid Just A Tuck at all costs.
Excellent stitchwork on all my work shirts. It took a while for five polos but it was worth the wait.Call before you come here to make sure someone is working.
Tried to support this business based on the good reviews, but arrived at the store at 11am when it should open and saw a note that they were closed until 12pm. I took off work to go to the store since it is only open from 11-4 so waited until 12:30pm but nobody opened the store. Another gentleman was waiting as well and left. I took my business to The Silver Thimble nearby who got me in and out and were very friendly. Disappointed that much of my day was wasted.
Just-A-Tuck fitted a suit and had it ready for me to pick up the next afternoon. Pricing was excellent, Martha was so friendly and the fitting looked great. I would not send anyone anywhere else now that I found her.
I am currently at the store waiting to get my graduation dress. Can someone respond and tell me why the store isnt open.
Affordable and does a great job. Thanks Martha!
Great Pricing and she was very sweet!!!!
