I’ve been using Arrow dry cleaners on Rutledge about four years. Why? I’m not sure anymore. Their location is convenient to me. My clothes are never ruined. There have been times stains didn’t come out. But mostly just pretty typical level dry cleaning. That’s why I couldn’t give them one star. However, at this location there is a lady who has been so rude and agitated EVERY SINGLE time I’ve been. There is no way I’m the only one experiencing this. Sometimes she will pretend to not see me for a while and ignore me at the counter. Then usually when I start to explain whatever dry cleaning services I need she will get snappy and irritated. It’s just gone on too many times. I’m done doing business with them after this last drop off pick up.

Arrows Cleaners has been in the neighborhood since I was a child. My mother used them to dry clean the familys clothes for so many years. Now as an adult and grandmother, I use them faithfully. I consider them to be the Neighborhoods Dry Cleaners. Once I had clothes there I had totally forgotten. I was told normally, dry cleaners would sell items not picked up after 30+ days without notification. Arrows called me and reminded me that my cleaning were there for two months and asked if I still wanted them. I appreciated that so much because these clothes were expensive, gifts, and favorites.Another time, I was laid off from my job and didnt have the funds for my dry cleaning. Arrows was so supportive, they worked with me until I was able to get them out. There was only one cleaning incident that I remember where they could not remove a stain but they never damaged any of my clothes.I appreciate them so much, the friendly staff and the services they provide to this community for years.

Not one person in this business wears a mask. (And one employee looked extremely sick and was coughing.) Zero respect for their customers’ health and their community. Will not patronize this business again.

I had service here twice. Both times, the woman behind the counter was rude and acted like I was inconveniencing her by picking up my laundry.Rudeness aside, I had two items that were brand new and white and had only been worn once. One was a dress from Gal meets Glam and the other a shirt from Club Monaco. When I went to pick them up they were dingy and brown looking—-the white had seemed to have been destroyed.I asked if they would please refund me or if they were able to restore the color. This time I met with Vivian. She assured me she could fix it so I gave her a chance. The end result is the fabric being destroyed and still dingy white. She argued with me when I went I told her I wasn’t happy.I took the items and went home. I cant control the way I was treated or the fact that they ruined two beautiful items but I will never go here again for service. What a terrible experience with pretty nasty people.

Wow, they are miracle workers... Maybe Glenda the Good Witch? I took in a badly stained kimono thinking all was lost. 15 minutes later Im walking out with what looks like a brand-new garment. I am truly amazed! Thank you!

I wish there were a few ways to review this place, as the cleaning is great at a competitive price point, for the cleaning Id give it a 4 star. That being said, the workers have been rude to me twice. This last time, when I attempted to pay with a credit card the individual very sharply stated Please tell me you have cash. I do not carry cash, so politely told her no I do not. She grunted and said Next time you come in here, you better bring cash, in a somewhat threatening tone.I would GLADLY pay an extra $1 if the credit card fees are a problem, in order to support a local business, but I will not support a business where employees are consistently rude.Ill consider trying this place again and updating my review, but recommend some common courtesy if youd like to keep people like me coming back.

Extremely impolite! My husband dropped off his clothes a few days ago, and I picked them up today. The lady at the counter was the same lady each time. Both my husband and I noticed that she was not interested at all in being friendly/courteous. No smile, no hows your day going today?, no thank-you as we were leaving or anything like that at all. My husband told me he asked her how she was doing, how business was, what her plans were for Christmas, etc - all he received was 1-2 word answers with little to no eye-contact. Today when I picked up his clothes, I noticed she was very polite/friendly to the black customer who was in line before me, but her demeanor noticeably changed when it was my turn in line. Im not sure if she doesnt like white people, or maybe doesnt like young people, but its not hard to be courteous to your customers. This is one dry cleaners we WONT be returning to.

Due to location I have only taken specialty items for cleaning. I couldnt have been happier and was totally pleased with the entire experience. After having alterations my daughters wedding dress ( never worn) had spots that looked like oily hands had handled and splatter marks that we believed to be red wine. Mrs. Evonne was the name that kept coming up when asking where to take the dress. I calmed the future bride promising a miracle and took the dress. I dropped off to a very pleasant staff member and was assured Mrs. Evonne would do her best. It came back in perfect condition. The pressing and the cleaning could not have been better. Estatic and relieved mom with bride happy and beautiful. I highly recommend.

Awesome experience apparently the previous review is incorrect, most polite people, very courteous and knowledgeable. All my items looked the best have ever looked. Apparently the the lady with ghe apparent fake St Johns Knit wanted something done thats impossible, these folks have been in business for years and have always done a perfect job well above and beyond. Would recommend them to everyone.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASEDo not take your St. John KnitsTo Arrow Cleaners. The Boss knows nothing about blocking,Taking measurements before cleaning, and blocking the garment with steam to make sure that the garment is returnedWith the same measurements that youTurned your St John garment in with.PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASELearn from my headache and dry cleaning night mare. The Boss did not take prior measurements, and when garment was returned with arm length 2 inches tooShort, the Boss actually accused me ofBuying the wrong size St John jacket.Blocking is an essential factor in maintaining your St John Knit wardrobe.Luckily, I can still save my St John garment by taking it to Low Country Cleaners on Rutledge Avenue.Lowcountry Cleaners specialize in working with St John Knits. They know all about the blocking process, and how important it is too take measurements of the St John garment before it is cleaned, so that your St John garment will be returned to you with the same measurements that you dropped your garment off with.Rest assured. It is no wonder that Lowcountry Cleaners won The Best Cleaner Award. They know what they are doing. They are very professional, AND theySpecialize in St John Knits. So, instead of being out of hundreds of dollars from Arrow Cleaners lack of knowledge in how to handle St John Knits, I am only out about twenty dollars, because, of course, the Boss at Arrow Cleaners told me that I was lying, it was not their fault, and would not reimburse my money.Thank God for Lowcountry Cleaners!PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASELearn from my mistake.Do NOT take your St John Knit garments to Arrow Cleaners.Take your St John Knits to a dry cleaner that specializes in working with St John, and knows all about the blocking process. Lowcountry Cleaners on Rutledge Avenue is where you need to take all of your St John Knit garments.I really hope that my nightmare with Arrow Cleaners has saved somebody from making the same mistake that I did.
