I went first thing this morning when I find out about Bully Trap Barbershop, and man, was I not disappointed. Phillip greeted me at the door and was extremely friendly and inviting. He also was the one who cut my hair. He did an amazing job! Very cool dude! The shop itself had a warm, homelike presence. Can’t believe I’m just now finding out about this place. Guess that’s what happens when you don’t have social media 😂 Go get your haircut at the Bully Trap Barbershop! If you don’t, you might as well be cutting it yourself!

The atmosphere is very original and the staff was great but the should have had a sign on the door coming in is cash only

Chris Adkins, has been my barber for a few years. He recently started working at Bully Trap. I went there yesterday for the 1st time because I know he gives the best haircuts, but the barber shop experience @ bully trap is the best. Good people, good vibes, good haircuts. I drove from Cross Lanes to Charleston for it and will continue to do so.

If you want to wait over 2 hours for a mediocre haircut be my guest. Plus they prioritize appointments but then don’t even pick up the phone!

I have enjoyed going here last few years. Love the cuts, and the atmosphere is great. All of the barbers do great work, but Zac has been my go to for at least 2 years.Will definitely miss this place as I move.(P.S. their covid protocols are on point)

Great place for a quick haircut! I was very satisfied with my cut and it was my first time here. Check out Hunter when you make an appointment. This is a friendly environment with a good location near the city of Charleston.

This is not your grandpas barbershop. The five chair shop is staffed by barbers you would expect to see at a skate park. BUT...these guys are true artists. They take pride in their shop and the haircuts they give. I have a new home barbershop.

The guys here are fantastic! When my husband comes to West Virginia for work he always comes here for a nice cut.

Always a great atmosphere. The guys are professional and its always a good hang. Its busy but theres usually a good number of barbers working so they move through. Theyre also able to book appointments if you need it.

It was my very first time going 2 bully trap barber shop. I havent been 2 a barber shop since I was a little boy. Getting my first haircut. My experience at bully trap barber shop was so Awesome. All of the barbers were so friendly & nice. I will definitely b going back there again for sure. I would highly recommend them 2 anyone was wants 2 get a great haircut along with great & very friendly barbers. Who listen 2 what kind of haircut u want. I was so Amazed how my cut looked exactly what the pic that I had showed the barber. Who cut my hair. My wife cried good tears when she seen my new haircut. & my mom & dad loved it as well. This place is great. I have a few problem areas on my head that other shops have had a hard time dealing with. Everytime I run in here to get a cut my problem spots become less of an issue. This last time we figured out how to handle the situation and I got the best cut I have had in years. No disrespect to other shops, I just have two spots that a lot of barbers have trouble with.

When I arrived there were six people waiting ahead of me. Waited for well over an hour and only ONE person was called up, two more had walked out in that time. Eventually I also had to leave without getting a haircut. I dont mind waiting a long time but with five barbers working things should be moving a little faster. These guys were just casually chatting with each other, taking twenty minute breaks between customers, and dawdling about in general.Its a real shame because I like the cuts they give, I just cant justify wasting that much time on my day off!

Great place for a haircut.

An hour wasted. No haircut. When I first walked in the room was nearly full. Time passed and I was the only one left, not even a barber. Totally weird experience.All they needed to do was the civil thing: alert me to a situation when I first walked in.

Been getting my hair cuts here for over a year. Every guy there knows how to make you look good.

This place is nothing special from any other barber shop. The wait is always forever and it seems as though they only have one or two people working at a time. My boyfriend has been going to see them intermittently since he started growing his hair out. The man bun thing is what he has been working for and he’s had it going on for months now (over 7). He just likes to get the bottom cleaned up and squared off. Yet when he goes to get his hair cut at Bully Trap they do him so wrong. They messed up the line in the back and took out a huge chunk of hair on top of his head (the long hair for the bun) and now he’s got this weird thing going on in the back because there is no straight line. And when that hair starts coming back in, it’s going to be awakward bc it’s not the same length as the rest of the bun hair. I would not recommend this place if you need something other than a buzz cut. I won’t be sending any business their way any time soon IF ever again.

Visiting from NYC. This place was recommended by a local, went in to realize they are cash only. Adding insult to injury, i asked how much the haircut was, a rude barber mumbles read the board wow! I wrote my last name down so they can link their rude attitude they dished upon me for no reason with this review that they rightfully earned! and the lost revenue. TBNT. STAY AWAY.

Walked in, nobody greeted me or gave instructions of where to sign in. Only one barber on staff. Others barbers were in the back but the one barber couldn’t get them to come out front.Multiple people walked out during my long visit here. I’m not sure if they know how to run a shop but very poor quality experience for me. 1 Star.

Overpriced and if they aren’t closed for random things, they are so crowded you have to wait 1 hour.
