Blake was amazing. We have a hard time getting someone to cut my sons hair to have it look good. But that was not an issue for Blake. He did an outstanding job!!! They are very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and hilarious. I highly recommend and will definitely be taking my son back.

After a full year of not being able to get my hair cut, I needed someone who knew what they were doing to clean up the mop I had. While I almost missed an appointment with Lee due to a last minute scheduled meeting with my work, Blake was able to get me in that day and did an awesome job with nothing more than a vague waving of hands in my attempt to remember what an actual trim was like.Ill be returning to these guys for as long as I live here. I have been going to Lee for over a year for beard trims and haircuts for my son. He is amazing. Professional, clean, and gives great cuts. Make sure to boom at least 4 weeks ahead of time, he books up fast. If you need day of, he has a walk in barber, Blake, who works on a call in/walk in basis. Great shop and good atmosphere.

I’d never been to a proper barbershop before this, only chains that got the job done but were lacking something. There’s a stellar atmosphere here that other places lack and hopefully I will be using Hansen & Co. for the remainder of my time on campus.

If youre looking for a barber shop in the Champaign-Urbana area, then this is the place. Every time Ive gone to Hansen & co, my haircut has been excellent and the conversation has been great. This is all you could ask for from a barber shop. Lee and the rest of his staff make this place such a great place to your hair cut, its no wonder that its so popular. Im sad to be moving out of the area because Ill have to find a new barber and Im almost certain they wont be as good as Lee.

My husband and I just moved from Syracuse, NY to Champaign, IL and we were looking for a place to get our haircut and beards trimmed up. Let me tell you, this place the place to go! And soon as we entered we were greeted by Lee and Kayla and asked if we had an appointment or were walking in. Kayla was there for walk-ins and she was terrific! She cut both of our hair and fixed up our scraggly beards into tiptop shape! She was very engaging in conversation and let me tell you about those piercing blue eyes and amazing hair! The atmosphere is so laid back and relaxed! Great music variety to listen to along with a well decorated establishment! I have never felt welcomed or comfortable in a barbershop in my entire life besides when I was a kid and I am so glad I dont have to pay ridiculous salon prices for a subpar cut! The prices are well worth the service you receive! I, along with my husband will be repeat clients here! Thanks Kayla and Lee! You will be seeing us soon!

Cool place. I get cuts from Albert. I like the online reservations, but they book up quick. I enjoy an adult beverage and get great conversation when there.

Lee is a super cool guy and really cares about getting you the best haircut that fits you. Doesnt try to push products on you, and charges a very fair price ($22) considering the quality of the haircut. Hes really in demand, so you have to make an appointment WAY in advance (up to two weeks in my experience). Totally worth it though.

I was so happy when i found Lee. I would not let anyone else trim my beard. I encourage everyone to get their hair cut at this shop.

I tried 4 of the top rated barber shops in Champaign/Urbana when I started at UIUC. Hansen & Co. was the only that did not disappoint, and the only one I returned to. Lee is a great guy and hes never let my hair down.

It was not easy to assume how something simple as changing a tail to slicked back could be such a struggle.20 minutes out on the chair, after my tail was taken off, I was told it was impossible to make it slicked back because my hair on the back keeps poping off. 15 minutes of gel throwing later, instead of delivering whats promised, I was told the next appointment is waiting and kicked out of the chair, with hair looking like a scarecorws. I had no choice but to save it myself. And what really stepped the game up is when I asked for a spare comb, they gave me a tiny singletime-use beard comb. Yes, I spent the last 20 minutes in the bathroom of the barber shop getting rid of the tumbleweed on my head. And now one click on the 1 star is being accused of blasting online. Telling me besides 30 minutes every morning in the bathroom fixing my hair, I gotta spend more time contact your shop for this hair thing? No thank you.

I have had trouble finding a barber that cut my hair and beard well in Urbana Champaign. Blare is the guy to go to. He gave me the best cut Ive had in this city.
