If I could give 0 stars, I would. I spoke with Jennifer on Monday regarding viewing a property. We established a showing time of 10 AM on Friday. I received a confirmation email and thought everything was good to go. I called on Thursday and left a voicemail to confirm the appointment, and sent an email as well, to confirm. As of Friday morning I had not received a response. I’ve called multiple times before the showing, and only received an answering machine. I arrive to the showing 10 minutes early and stayed until 10:30 AM. I called multiple times again, and sent another email. I have yet to hear back. Unprofessional to say the least.11/5/2018- After unknowingly speaking with the owner of the actual property and letting her know of my experience, I promptly received a call this morning indicating that the leasing agent was out sick on Friday and must have missed contacting you. This still does not explain why no one answers the telephone or returns emails.
I lived with Snyder PM (formerly Wedig PM) for approximately 3 years. In that time I had a good relationship with them, very few maintenance issues and those that came up were addressed sooner or later to my satisfaction. However, upon move-out I was charged a substantial sum for cleaning which was unwarranted. My apartment was essentially spotless, and I was billed $250 for general cleaning from my deposit. I contacted them about this and they indicated that a bit of cleaning needs to be done in the kitchen, which is doubtless true of every single unit to be rented no matter the condition it is left in simply as a precaution, and an expected cost of doing business for a landlord. They claimed that it was a standard charge for cleaning, which is precisely what a deposit is NOT for. A deposit is for costs incurred outside the expected norm of doing business, such as damage, extensive cleaning, re-painting, or re-carpeting that does not constitute normal wear and tear. If the cleaning is a standard charge regardless of unit condition, then it constitutes normal wear and tear. I was extremely disappointed in their approach to business, as I was a constant source of on-time, effortless revenue for them for 3 years and they still felt that they needed to get more out of me. After years of what felt like a good relationship, this left a bad taste in my mouth.
I absolutely LOVE my place, had few maintenance issues that were taken care of quickly, Snyder Property Mngt. owners and other employees were the kindest, most caring people Ive ever rented from. Sadly, the owners of the property have chosen a different management company.
Friendly staff. Very helpful to people. Stacey was awesome!
Its been five years and no problems!
Very unprofessional business. Rude to us as renters and not helpful with maintenance issues.
