If we being honest, this was probably the most friendly encounter Ive had at any business. The manager was extraordinary polite professional. Fast service. Like really fast. I will go to this particular Jiffy Lube over others. I do not mind driving to frequent an establishment rarity such as this fine place. Serious. Do yourself a favor and go here. You wont regret it.

These guys are all con men. Youll go in here for an oil change and theyll tell you theres a million things wrong with your car and youre not gonna be able to drive it out of there unless you get it all replaced. Dont waste your time or money here.

I came to get my car inspected for June 2021, the manager said that they had June 2021 stickers, when they completed my inspection, they put on a May 2021 sticker. The manager said I dont have to give you a June 2021 sticker. Im very disappointed in this service. I dont believe Ill be going back to that service center. They lucky I dont call or email the main Headquarters to tell them how I really feel. Now after looking closely at the registration sticker, Jiffy Lube did a Poor job of removing the 2021 sticker, they left lots of the old sticker and just placed the new over, very poor work. It dont take much skill 8n removing a sticker. Im sure I wont return to this Jiffy Lube.

Little higher than most places. Salesmen are a little pushy when trying to upsell everything, almost makes you feel obligated to buy! Other than that they did a good job changing my oil and cabin air filter.

Had to get an inspection done. Needed new breaks, caliper, and rotor. Got it all done in a timely manner. Also then management was personable and saved me some money.

Dave helped my 18 year old daughter and explained everything, making her feel very comfortable. We will be bringing all of our vehicles to him going forward.

Wife took her car for a oil change and then the upcharges sales man tried his best to explain she needs a radiator flush and a fuel line flush on a car with less then 80k miles on it..No alarms, no codes and the car runs like new. Sounds like they are back to scamming people again with repairs that are not needed and that would void the warranty on the car..

Went in for an oil change on my truck. First thing that stood out to me was the lack of professionalism. Looks like a bunch of kids working in there just out of trade school. They had a movie on in the lobby that was full of language and violence even though there were children in the waiting area. To top it off they did not put my oil cap back on and I have been smoking and possibly losing oil for the last month. The part cost me $30 and I am not happy.

Theyre good on oil change but nothing else, they tried to fail my cars inspection for breaks so I got a second opinion and it passed. Always get a second opinion if they tell you somethings wrong with your car. Theyll make you spend at least $300 more if youre not careful. Also I dont think they were practicing safety during the pandemic to my satisfaction.

Do not take a vehicle here. They will tell you that your car needs things that it dont. Didnt even take tires off for the inspection. Then i did what was asked. Took car back got a attitude because my husband did the work. Husband was upset because i didnt need the rotators. Plus he passed headlights. My husband noticed when i pulled into our house my low beam was out. The man passed that but didnt pass rotators that didnt need to be changed. I will never go back or send people there.

I’d like to say that I went to Quick Lube first because that’s where I usually go. This time Quick Lube gave me an awful facial expression when I asked for an oil change. I never felt so unwanted ever by a business so I turned myself around and left. Went to jiffy lube and was met in the parking lot as I pulled in by a very pleasant man helping me before I could even get out of my car. I was greeted by 3 employees altogether with their clipboards and info in hand trying to help me. I was in and out in no time. Also receiving a free car wash and coupon taken off my total. Thank you Jiffy Lube for your kindness and prompt service on New Years Eve!! Thank you to the 3 great gentlemen that helped me today.

Inspection guy Is never there and when he is he always leaves early and they only try to get money from you, they said my rotors needed changed but they we’re fine.

Under new management! Dave was courteous and informative. I in no way felt pushed into paying extra. He gave me a list of upcoming maintenance I will be due for and what their prices are. It is a beautiful Saturday and everyone was at a competitor on Norland Avenue. I was told there they cant see anyone until Tuesday. I went around the corner to another place with tons of parking in their lot and empty bays and three workers behind the counter. I was told I would have to wait an hour before they could start an oil change. Shaking my head I left. Dave offered me coffee, but I didnt have time to drink it before I was back on the road. This location is under new ownership. I have had two oil changes done here since the change in ownership and overall my experiences have been pleasant. Previously, I dreaded going to Jiffy Lube because the workers always tried to push me to add on additional services (change air filter, flush transmission, etc) even though I said I didn’t want them and seem irritated when I said not today. No issues like this anymore, they make their suggestions/recommendations but listen when I tell them what I do and don’t want done this visit. Owners are great and personable- seem like honest men! No issues, quick service.

Scam artist. Don’t take your car here for anything they’ll always try to say you need something you don’t. take your vehicle to a more trustworthy place. Definitely don’t take your car here if you’re a women because they’re try to take advantage of your lack of car knowledge.

As the sign said there is new management and this business and the outstanding people, like Dave that work there deserve the chance to earn your business. You wont regret it.

This is my 2nd time to this Jiffy Lube location and they are great. They are very courteous and upfront with what needs to be done to my vehicle and I couldn’t be happier with the service that I receive. Great job guys and keep up the great work!

I take my company leased vehicle here for service because they are the only local service place that the leasing agent approves without a lot of phone calls and jumping through hoops. having said that, in the past for routine oil changes, Ive never had any issues, and will give them credit in that regard. The problem I seem to have, and this is the second year in a row this has happened, is when the annual inspection is due. Jiffy Lube Chambersburg advertises that they perform annual PA state inspections. Being the last day of the month, my work truck was due ( I admit, I should not have waited until the last minute, but hey no appointment necessary at Jiffy lube right?). I arrive at 8:40am, I am greeted by a fella who asks what I need. I say an inspection.... I get this response we cant do the inspection right now, because Im waiting for another mechanic to show up for work. He should be here by 9. I say, well, I need an oil change as well, so do that, by then your other guy should be here and he can do the inspection. He says well, I do the inspections, but I cant be tied up on that while there is no other mechanic here, but if you come back after 10:00 well get you taken care of. Ok, fine. Im a little irritated, but I get it. Maybe I can make it work and come back later. Which is exactly what I did. I pull back in at 12:45pm, pull up, am asked (by a different mechanic than was there this morning) if I am there for an oil change, I said that, and a state inspection.... He says, We cant do inspections today (meanwhile the mechanic I spoke to in the morning is standing in the bay, but behind the partition where I believe he believed that i didnt notice him standing there) but if you come back tomorrow.... I told him to forget it and I left.A very similar thing like this happened last year and i wrote it off as a fluke. But for this to happen a second time with almost the same line as before, I get a bit suspicious. I made 2 separate trips on the same day just to be told to come back another time (I will add that at both arrivals, all bays were completely empty, and I was the only customer in the afternoon trip, I counted at least 4 Jiffy Lube employees on site). For a company that offers convenience as their platform, I sure was Inconvenienced today. Perhaps a sign with dates and times when inspections can be performed would be helpful, rather than pull up, and waste my time telling me that yes, we do inspections, just not when you need one.

Nice customer service guy. Clean and looked remodeled. Comfy chairs to wait for vehicle. They served free coffee. Prices were expensive, but it helps to have a coupon.

NEVER TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HEAR!!! If you care about your car then spend a few extra bucks and go elsewhere. I took my car here a year ago for a simple oil change when they reopened. Somehow the extremely inexperienced “tech” drained my transmission dry. Long story short the car ended up needing a new trans. So the district manager calls me and says they will do just that and sends my car to some sketchy Sunoco in MD. Turns out they lied, no new trans was ever put in. I’ve had several mechanics look at it and they can’t figure out what they did to it. Nothing was hooked up properly, heat shields were missing, bolts were missing, it was a disaster. Our best guess was they rebuilt the existing trans, I still have not to this day received the warrantee paperwork for the “new trans” nor any paperwork about what was done to the car. Somehow they ended up pinching a wire in the motor that ended up rubbing through a year later causing a nightmare of electrical issues. This place is a joke. Save yourself the headache.

This place has CHANGED!!! I used to take my car here all the time but now i will never do it again. I came in for a state inspection. They said i needed all new tires and it would be $700!!!! Nothing was wrong with the car and i recently had tires 6 months ago!!! Very very shady. I went to another mechanic and passed right away.

Dave is the best! I love when people are friendly and dont beat around thr bush on what you need done exactly. He was so professional and gave me all options of various things i could/should have done with diff prices instead of just trying to sell the most expensive. Ok place forgot to top off fluids it is what it is nice people

Stopped in for a quick oil change between doctor appointments. The technician cracked my oil filter housing and was unable to get it off. I was told I couldnt drive my car as it was leaking oil. I had to get a tow truck to take it to the dealership and had to take an uber to and from my appointments.I went back to get reimbursed for the labor costs to fix my car. They insisted they hadnt broken it and that they never told me I couldnt drive my car. After much arguing they gave me the money for the dealership labor costs.While I was there the first time another woman came in and said shed had her oil changed a few days prior and it was leaking oil.When I returned to get reimbursed, the technician was telling another woman her filter house was stuck.

This location charged $69.99 For the same service most locations charge $42.99 for. Surprised me when going through the invoices and pissed me off.Take your business elsewhere.

I would strongly not recommend. Management was nice and professional, mechanics seemed to be disrespectful, incompetant, and careless. I will never return. I would not take my push mower there for an oil change or my bicycle if the tires needed air.Went here for a PA State safety inspection. Was greeted by what I believe was the manager and some of the techs. Everything started out well enough and was shown to the waiting room which was nice, clean, and welcoming. Not too long after that the inspection mechanic takes my new, as in under 10,000 miles new, vehicle for the driving portion of the inspection for what I felt looked like a drive it like you stole it test drive. I watched him get on to Wayne Ave and still seemed to drive it like he wanted to see how quickly he could get up to speed. Once my vehicle and the inspection mechanic returned, they (as in all of the service techs) started to look it over in the service bay. Soon I was politely asked if the brake pedal was always soft and easy to push to the floor. I responded I never had a need to push it all the way to the floor when driving as it stops just fine. It has been that way since I owned it with 5 miles on it. If you push it hard enough it will go to the floor, like most vehicles if you force it. He said the inspection mechanic said the same thing and just wanted to be sure. 30 seconds later he comes back, says the windshield washer is not working. Told him I just used it today and it worked just fine. I went out into the shop with the guy to see what the issue was. Come to find out the tech didnt know how to operate the switch properly. I was then watching the rest of the non-inspection mechanics walking around my vehicle like they had nothing else to do (they didnt, I was the only one there, that should have been a red flag looking back on it). I watched the inspection mechanic bounce his clipboard off the side of my vehicle multiple times (it was not intentional or causing and damage, but very careless) and even watched one of the techs work my bumper step from the stowed position to the lowered position, and then back to stowed and started to do it again like it was a play toy. After that I was politely asked to return to the waiting room. I responded I am ok here, if you guys have more issues I am here to resolve them for you. The same guy who asked me about my brake pedal and nonfunctional windshield washers said I must return to the waiting room. After the windshield washer problem and the service tech playing with my bumper step I did not feel they should be left alone. I told them to get off my vehicle and i am not allowing you to continue, I will go some place else. They gave me back my paperwork, removed what ever they had attached to my vehicle in the inspection pit, and I got into my vehicle. I asked them what I owe them for their time and was told nothing (I would have gladly paid them as they did do something and time is not free). I said to them I have never gone to get an inspection and had to tell the shop to stop, this experience was horriable and Im never returning.As I am driving to my normal shop for inspections I notice my radio was not on the station I had it on when I brought it in (I had my radio volume at 0 so they did not have to mess with it, the inspection mechanic must have been looking for some good tunes for his joy ride or the service tech who couldnt figure out how to work the windshield washer was playing with buttons on the radio to make the windshield washer work). I also found a pea sized blob of old grease on my center console.The the guy who kept coming to me with questions and the guy in the red shirt were both pleasant and nice, but their mechanics were, in my opnion, incompetent, disrespectful towards other peoples property, and unnecessarily dirty if grease was found in the interior of a new vehicle.Experiences like this are why I do my own work on all of my vehicles.

This place is finally starting to change!!! The new manager Russ was unbelievable.. He was so helpful and nice. He said there was always complaints about jiffy lube up selling to customers and them being unhappy and not coming because of this. He took that away all togather. He said he would rather meet new people and get cars coming in non stop.. I was very impressed with his overall care for that store. Stop just taking filters out! I am under the impression you should not take a dirty filter out without replacing it and I can and did change my own.

I am hopeful that they did a good job, but I just never quite know. If the interior vacuuming is representative of the work they do, I can expect my car to blow up at anytime.

Had a lot of good experiences with all the guys here from their mechanics and managers to the owner. Ive taken my vehicle, any my wifes, multiple times. I aim to avoid the lunch and close of business rush that can sometimes occur. They get me in and out quickly and I appreciate the little things they do, like toping off fluids and vacuuming my floors, that make the value exchange THAT much better for me. Good guys, Id suggest them to anybody who appreciates convenience and timeliness.

I got my suv inspected here. Great bunch of guys.. very polite and very friendly. Didnt like the show that was on the TV but had my phone lol. Definitely would recommend for an inspection and oil changes

This Jiffy Lube costs more people money than they save them. Charging people high prices for synthetic oil and putting in the cheap house oil. They don’t change filters. They cost a friend a blown engine the day after her service. And even had loose oil filters spray oil out a mile after leaving for an oil change. They even fired an employee for speaking up about their unethical practices. Save your engine, have someone else do your services from now on. I’d give them “NO ZEROS” if that were an option.

!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!This is the biggest and rudest group of clowns I have ever dealt with. I was in a pinch for an oil change and didnt have the time to do it myself. Going against my better judgment of all the horror stories you hear from these oil change places I went here.When I pulled up there was three guys standing around doing nothing, they pulled my truck in for a basic oil change. 15 minutes later I paid and left.I checked the oil level several days later (my fault for not checking it at the store, but I was relying on their services) and it was a complete quart high on the dip stick. I went and checked my receipt and was charged for 6 quarts of oil, my vehicle takes 5 quarts.High oil levels are just as bad as low oil levels for those who don’t know.Anyway I was not going to bring the truck back to have these guys screw it up again. I drained the quart of oil myself; when I went to do this I also found a loose oil filter dripping oil onto the drive shaft.The complete service was botched and these guys (all three of them) did nothing right, they clearly didnt even check the dip stick or they would have caught their own mistake.Long story short I have gone back and forth with them on the phone and was originally told they would be sending me a refund, that was a month ago now and still nothing. I have called again and was rudely talked to by someone who clearly knows nothing of what they were talking about, and was also told I wouldn’t be getting a refund, nor was I ever told that I would be, which is a lie.Not only did they do their job with the lowest of standards, they also oversold me on 1 quart of oil that my vehicle does not need or take, and refuse to refund me for this as well. This is theft by deception and I assume they do this to many others.I will be continue to get my refund and will be reporting this store to the Chambersburg Police as well as the Better Business Bureau.There are many other local garages in the area that will do the job correctly and at half the price, I suggest you go to one of them instead.

Rude employee, i will never go back. I dont even trust that they actually changed my oil. I asked to have the owner contact me and was told he never contacts any customers that have complaints. I have a call in to corporate, waiting for the district manager to call me. Employee actually stood there arguing with me after he asked me whats your problem? Run away from this location. Other locations offer synthetic blend at 44.99, this location only offers full synthetic for 79.99, and they drain your old oil before telling you!!!! Thieves.

They told me I had to have new rotors and brakes (which cost $700), and a year later I find out they put faulty rotors on, and had to spend another $300 somewhere else to fix their mistake. Horrible service, pushy salesmen, overall negative experience. Stay away!

Im at mr Tire for 1/2 the price.....When my boyfriend takes my truck in . Its all good. However every time I take my truck in the price is double . Today it went from 60...to 80...to 90..to 123$ in like 3 min. Last visit for inspection. They wanted 1000$. So I got all the work done except the Emergency brake cable attachment. And went back. They still wanted 1000$ . Im sitting at Mr Tire on Norland ave. 68$. Tire rotation, oil change, and top off fluids. Bye Bye Jiffy Lube. I wouldnt have given a star. But theres no option for negative.

Got a inspection done here and was told that my car failed due to my tires outter was showing too much ware ( even though it hasnt even been over 30,000 miles on them) so I went down to antrim way to have them look at it and they said my tires are completely fine, and the only way the outter part of the tire can fail is if the secondary rubber is showing ( theres two layers of rubber on a tire) which it wasnt... its a fail/pass thing, you cant fail due to the fact that you feel that its not acceptable... got my Inspection down at antrim way honda and it passed with the minor side marker bulb being out ( and jiffy didnt catch that???? Lights are the easiest/ basic checks in a inspection ) So I called them back to talk about my inspection they did and they said that different stations can pass and fail what they feel is right!...theres a reason Pennsylvania has a set of regulations for car inspection... so its uniform through out the state, all stations are suppose to follow the same standards and CAN NOT set their own!... last time Ill be going there.. 42 dollars down the drain!!! Go spend your money else where

WOW,Been going there for a couple years and today my teenage son took in the vehicle for a 35 dollar oil change and they took advantage of him. The total price came to 95.36 for adding antifreeze and changing a filter. They would not take the 10.00 coupon because it was for our other vehicle. I spent 1.000 dollars in october 2015 for new tires and brakes. You guys just lost a good customer.. Shame on you he was a kid and you should of called me. I called them and all Devin (manager) said was we do not make the decisions for them. Calling corperate hope to get somewhere with them. Ripped Off Today........UGG !!

First let me say that I have always taken my vehicles to jiffy lubes for oil changes, ect. Ive been to more than one and have never had a problem, however the Jiffy Lube in Chambersburg has proven to be the worst Jiffy Lube I have been to. I gave it a few shots too. First I went to get an oil change and was told it would be 3 hours. I said okay Ill come back another day thinking it was just an especially busy day, but then I come back a different day and am told I will have to wait an hour for an oil change, so I wait. Everything goes okay though. So I go back to get an inspection today. I was denied because according to the inspector all four tires needed to be replaced. It was NOT due to lack of tread it was because the inspector felt my tires had too many fissures on the side of all the tires. Well I had this weird feeling about that analysis so I decided Id do a little research and go somewhere else. Mind you I already paid the inspection fee. So I went over to another garage and asked for an inspection not just because my gut said to, but because my father who used to work on cars, said I think your about to be ripped off for tires you dont need. I told the man at the new garage I had just had an inspection but failed and asked if he would look at my car. He found no issues so I said why I failed. He said that the other company was trying to make a tire sale that the micro (my words because they are that small) fissures on my tires are not enough to warrant failing an inspection. I was also told I should ask for my money back by several people including the other garage, but seeing as Im more passive aggressive and am not a fan of confrontation I thought Id post on here my experience. Plus I forgot to mention there was only one vehicle in the bay at Jiffy lube today and quite a few workers and I was told Id it would be a 45 minute wait for the inspection. Again I am not knocking all Jiffy Lubes. Ive been to others before including the one in Hagerstown, MD and have never had to wait more than 20 minutes and never felt off about my service. I do feel like someone was trying to pull a fast one and sale tires knowing that I cannot get an inspection sticker without them. I guess they didnt count on me being a suspicious person and going to another garage to see if someone was playing games with me. Its shame really because I was willing to go back regardless of the slow service, but now Im afraid Ill be lied to again, so no more Chambersburg Jiffy Lube for me!

Prices way to high for a oil change

I took my car into this shop on 9/12/15 and as soon as I told them I needed an inspection one guy literally yelled at me its gonna be an hour and a half!As you can imagine I thought of turning away and that seemed like what the tech wanted me to do and I wish I would have.They failed the car for cosmetic weather checking on the tires but they put down on the bill severe dry rot I argued that it wasnt bad enough to fail to no avail and I got charged 40 bucks for nothing. It was pretty clear they wanted me to buy new tires but there was no way in hell I was buying new tires when mine were perfectly fine.I emailed jiffy lube corporate and made a complaint and the manager called me about it and said the state gives them discretion on the tires, that its up to the tech to say if the tires were good or bad so he wasnt going to refund my money.I took it to the dealer a week later and they passed the car, so clearly they were wrong and I was right. They got 40 bucks but they will never get another dollar from me again.Stay away from this place, dont say you werent warned!

If I take the truck myself they change the oil. If my girlfriend takes it they try and hustle every unrequired extra. Beware .
