I had a great experience yesterday. I stopped by randomly to see if they could fix my moms rosery that she had given me a long time ago. Some of the beads had come apart and needed to be put back together.They were very accommodating and fixed it on the spot and when I wentto pay for it they said no charge. Wow, that is a old fashion way of doing business and I would recommend Siegels to anyone.

Have worked with Brian on a couple necklaces and most recently an engagement ring. Super knowledgeable, personable, no pressure attitude, and received a great value. Couldnt have asked for a better experience. Dont be mislead by this being a pawn shop as well if looking for jewelry. Honest, family-owned business. Be sure to consider Siegels before being sucked into a big box jeweler.

My grandfathers watch wasn’t working correctly, they did a great job getting it back normal. They also polished a family heirloom ring for free in addition to giving me some advice on how to sell gold.Friendly staff, good prices, great customer service. I have been shopping at Siegels for about l6 years. When I first started going there I got acquainted with Carrie and she has been my go-to-person ever since. Sometimes I have ideas and she helps complete the idea. Or, I tell her what Im looking for and she finds it or thinks of something that will work better. I was trying to pawn a ladder that was in perfect condition, albeit a little dirty. I called ahead to see if they had room for a ladder, and the lady said sure come on down, I get there and the same lady wouldnt buy the ladder because apparently a little bit of dirt on a CONSTRUCTION ladder makes it worthless, even said Id clean it up and she still wouldnt buy it. One star for wasting my time

My fiancé and I had a wonderful experience. I had my grandmothers ring that was broken and needed to be put in a new ring setting. Jane helped us pick out a new ring setting and helped us pick out new wedding bands. She was extremely helpful and helped us stay in our price range. Wonderful customer service! She even called me on her day off to update me! It’s hard to find a place that is reasonable with price and has great customer service! I highly recommend Siegles!

There really is no point going to a jewelry store in the mall and buying new rings, they get just as worn and scratched as a used ring is. I purchased both my and my fiances ring here and saved hundreds of dollars buying used. I have been here other times to purchase things and the staff is always super polite and helpful.

Another shady pawn and jewelry shop. If you have jewelry that needs repair or ring sizing call your local jewelry stores for an estimate because the associate that helped me WAY over charged me.

Do not let the fact that Siegels is partly a pawn store throw you. This is the BEST place in Cedar Rapids to buy jewelry. Nice selection of new jewelry and if they dont have it, theyll make it or find it. The staff is very pleasant and they have always been very reasonable with pricing and fair with any sort of issue. My husband buys all my jewelry there, including my wedding set, and everything I own appraises for much more than we paid. Do yourself a favor and go, especially if youre in the market for certified diamonds. Avoid the chain jeweler mark ups and get excellent customer service. You wont be disappointed!

Siegel’s is a welcoming environment with friendly employees who are always helpful. I like that whether it be to help me with a loan or to purchase an item from their store they treat me with the same kind courteous greeting. I have been to a few places where they are not very nice to customers who are looking to borrow money, for their consistent kindness has made me only go to Siegel’s.

Never ever shop here. They sell used tools OVER what they cost brand new at lowes or menards. They have no clue how to price items. They have old tvs that appear to be around the 2003-2008 time frame for sale over $100 for a small 40 inch. The only things that looked accurately priced were laptops. I went to ez pawn today as well and Ill never step foot in siegels again. Dont waste your time or money here. Next day update: they were selling a craftsman cordless sawzall for $50 something. Craftsman sawzal is currently $29.99 on sale at Menards and $49.99 regular price.

I have a vintage, handmade 925 ring that broke in two pieces last winter. I immediately took it to Re-Jewel in Marion and they told me that it probably couldnt be fixed even by us, and were your last resort. So my plan for the next six months was to get a duplicate of the ring made somehow, either with 3-D technology or a cast.Ive grown pretty attached to this ring over the years and didnt enjoy being without it, so I finally got around to going to Siegels, and to my surprise, their attitude right out of the gate was that they could fix it with silver soldering, no problem. They got it fixed *and* resized in one day, and the price was a lot more reasonable than I was expecting. The ring came out looking better than ever.Siegels is the only place I will go for any kind of jewelry issues. I like their down-to-earth atmosphere and the fact that they have a 70+ year history in the area.

Certainly the premium shop of this type in Cedar Rapids. If you want the good stuff, go to Siegels. I find them wiling to listen to my offers rather than just stick with the posted price. I like that. Ive bought a lot of my tools there. Also great jewelers. Friendly and knowledgeable.

I have a necklace set that requires a magnet and through word of mouth i was told to take my necklace to siegels and so i did. The customer service was awesome and i was able to get my necklace fixed and it was very affordable. I will definitely refer siegels to anyone who needs or wants to buy stuff. Wonderful service. Would recommend over EZ Pawn any day. Fair pricing and exceptional customer service. Honest and willing to work with you to get the best deal either on a pawn loan or a sale. The best place to find jewelry in Cedar Rapids. Dont be scared away by it also being a pawn shop. I got an excellent deal on an engagement ring. They will also order or custom make anything you could want.

Trust me, Ive taken the exact same item to multiple places to compare and not only did Siegels offer me more money, they treated me with respect while doing it. They also have new jewelry, which a lot of people dont know, as well as used. If youre looking for something nice youd be a fool not to stop in. The bottom line is, Siegels has a been a fixture in Cedar Rapids for generations. This wouldnt be possible if they werent treating their staff and customers right.

Never have I ever received anything but stellar service at Seigels. This is the kind of place where you walk in the door and are greeted immediately by friendly staff who remembers your name. The employees here take the time to get to know your needs, so they can offer the best personalized service possible. The more business I do with Seigels, the more business I want to do with Seieals. The employees are knowledgeable and genuinely want to help. If I plan to spend a chunk of money on anything, this is like the local one stop shop and Tim is the guy to talk to.
