I went to Kay’s in 1/13/2020 for a custom ring to be made from my fiancé’s grandmas ring. We were told an estimate date of 3/20/2020. I have called and gone in person to speak with the manger and design.. I still haven’t gotten a rendering to okay to make the ring !? Please help me understand what I need to do to make this change.Thanks
I am livid to hear that #KayJewelers has had my Grandmothers wedding ring since 1/13/20. #KayJewelers Lindale location was hired to repurpose the diamonds into a new wedding band, with a promise date of 3/20/20. It is now AUGUST 2020 and we have not even seem a design. The management keeps giving us the run-a-round. I advise never purchasing from here, especially if your sale is not bringing in a big commission.

Get ready. If I could give 0 stars I would.I proposed to my fiancé July 4th of 2019. We took in my 96 year old grandmothers wedding ring to Lindale Mall Kay Jewelers on January 13th 2020 to get custom made into a wedding band. They told us it would be 4-8 week to get a custom ring in hand. Our promise date was 3-20-2020. Here we are on August 1st with the wedding coming up extremely fast. We gave a deposit back in January. We haven’t even gotten a rendering of the ring and I am not sure where my grandmothers ring is. We were told once that it was over-seas (SCARY). Then we were told it was in New York. The manager at Lindale Mall Kay Jewelers has not taken any responsibility. Please help get this out to #KayJewelers.

DONT NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM KAYS JEWELERS!! I have had a bracelet that I got for Christmas that has been broke since March, and a ring that I got for Christmas that needed to be resized. Went in today and they refused to touch any of it, so now I have a ring and a bracelet that I can’t even wear. they will never receive business from me again!!
Easy to shop on both site . Easy delivery. Pick up store was easy and people in store want to make sure your satisfied and thats cool.
Im not one to complain about businesses. But I have had it with this one that I have been going to for getting my ring fixed.It all started when I needed to get my two bands soldered to the engagement ring. They told us to wait till a month are two before our wedding. So we waited until it was two month before ( thankfully we went then). Because it took them sending it back to the store 4 TIMES to get it right. Each time they called to tell me it was done it wasnt lined up at all!! For me that shows that they dont care what their jewelry looks like. The manger even told my husband oh I doubt she will even notice. You think I wont notice something is off because I will be wearing it everyday .Then recently I had to get it fixed because the engagement diamond was loose. . So instead of having it at 4 prongs I wanted 6. Two weeks to get it back. Got it back I noticed the engagement ring was off center. Took it back two days later. I told them I wanted it fixed because it was off center. . Yet again the manger says I dont think it is, Ive been doing this for 30 years. . Oh really. Well its off. We spent good money on something from YOUR store. So please dont tell me you think its fine cause its not.Dont get me wrong, some of the people who work there are really nice. But as far as the older gentleman whose the manger. . Horrible costumer service, disrespectful, and rude. And sending out jewelry to get fixed and waiting for it to be perfect when you get it back. . And it never happens. Very disappointing.I will never buy anything from that store.
I just left Kay Jewelers in Lindale Mall, in Cedar Rapids, IA. I just went to browse and see what they have, as I have a gift card. I met two of the most sweetest girls youll ever meet, Christina and Ashley. As soon as I walked in, they greeted me and when I told them I was just looking, they spent the entire time with me, showing me beautiful things, but never once did they try to push me into buying anything. I literally went through that whole store and they explained to me everything about every piece I was looking at. While I did not purchase anything today, they did let me know of a sale coming up for Mothers Day. I do plan on returning to this store for the sale. I do plan on seeing Christina and Ashley! They were just so totally awesome! They were both so very friendly and sweet...and yet, not pushy whatsoever. So if you are purchasing anything from Kays, see these two adorable girls. You will be as impressed as I was with them. Thanks so very much Christina and Ashley! I truly appreciate people like you! Kay Jewelers surely has two little jewels working for them!

I love Kays! My fiancé got my engagement ring here and we went back to get our wedding bands. We ordered our wedding bands online and picked them up in store about a week later. Fast, efficient, and great customer service!

Tara is awesome, she tried to sell me but I bounced...but she stayed engaged with a hope that Id buy...I didnt come to buy, she offered credit... but not today, I didnt come to bit, Mystery shop... .. I, Roland cannot & have never be sold...I only but when I need to...regardless of that, Im gonna come back for Tara, Idbuy from her, not too big, but worth 40% of my monthly income....simply because shes a blessing to Kay Jewelers. Gracias guys...yall rock...but Tara rocks more.
Kay Jewelers gets zero stars. Here is my story.... I get my ring July 3rd 2014. Beautiful ring it is really unique and truly showed me and my husband personality. On July 4th 2014 The top diamond get knocked out of the setting. My husband bought the warranty on the ring so I assume no big deal. I had found the diamond so next business day I take the ring in the person who helped me stated good thing you have the diamond otherwise you would have to buy a new one. I was a bit irritated by the comment but I let it go. Also while in there I asked about making the head stronger. they suggested just lowering the head so I agree to have this done. finally get ring back great condition. Where the ring for about a month no issues then the top diamond again starts to spin so its not tight at all on its post. So again I take the ring in and I ask to have it inspected and they send if off again tighten the diamond and straighten the prongs. I get the ring back looks great. The prongs bent again within a month I did not want to go through the hassle of taking it in so I wait until my next inspection to keep my warranty every six months I have to take it in. every six months there after it got sent in because the prongs and head would bend. So at my last inspection the person who inspected it could clearly see it needed sent in but handed it back to me and said looks good. I knew it should be sent in but... I took it because I had my inspection done so if anything did happen I would be covered. So... a week later one of the small diamonds fell out of my ring. So... I take the ring in the prongs are bent like usual so I ask them to replace the diamond and straighten everything out again. While inspecting it before sending it out they suggest that I upgrade to platinum.... would make the prongs stronger and would no longer have to worry about the diamond on top becoming loose. Keep in mind when I first got the ring I asked them about making it stronger so why after over two years of taking this ring in they are offering me this. The cost of this 199.99 I would have gladly paid for this when I asked about making the ring stronger. I told them they should just upgrade it to platinum my warranty will continue to cover if anything happens and I was angry that this option was not presented to me when I specifically asked about making the ring stronger. So ring gets sent off to just be fixed. Ring finally comes back a week after I was told it would be back. I go in to pick up ring. The nice gentlemen helping me says you owe for the platinum upgrade. I convince them to give me my ring. I look at the ring without a microscope and can see they did upgrade it but...... The same diamond I sent it in for in the first place is missing thats right the same diamond is missing still....... Once I get my ring back I will not go back If it ever needs fixed I would rather just go pay someone to fix it then to deal with Kays ever again.
We ordered a ring on May 28th and was given a promise date of June 11th for it to be in. All the ring needed was to be soldered together and resized. We still dont have my ring and cant even be told when itll be in other than the repair shop is backed up! We wouldnt have even known that or that it wasnt coming in the date promised of we wouldnt have taken it into our own hands and contacted Kays and the repair shop! Never again will I order anything from Kays!

The staff was nice and patient with us. She showed me many different rings until I found what I wanted. The ring we paid $600+ for was only worth $25 at the most at every pawn shop and jeweler we took it to, which was very disappointing.

My grandmother passed away, and I sent her ring in to be sized. It came back with literally sauder covering one of the diamonds. So a month and half later after sending it back to them twice, it has now been completely mangled. It barely even looks like the same ring. The stores only response is we can send it back in Not too mention how rude and uncaring the staff is unless youre buying something. Do not go here, whatever you do!
Came here earlier tonight and was greeted by a friendly woman, we wanted to keep looking around and eventually came back. The man that wanted to “help” us was very inconsiderate. I had tried on a ring that was ok, and he wanted to find a certain ring without standing up and looking around. As he was looking my fiancé asked if it was in a different display, pointing at one that he thought I may like and he said nope- It’s over here, I know it. (Not verbatim but very close and it was pathetic). I eventually got a glimpse of my fiancé’s choice, we would have purchased that tonight but the employee almost ruined the experience, even the poor woman was annoyed by his behavior. Great job to the woman, but the man behind the display that refuses to move in any way shape or form- and just shows the customers what he wants to sell, you lost a $7,800 sale tonight.
Good ring but is taking 2 month from purchase to get fitted ring because service is very slow. Now I am stuck with a ring that is two times bigger in size then I need and can not do nothing about it.

I will never buy jewelry from Kays again! When I got my wedding bands it took a week for a diamond to fall out and the soldering was uneven. So I took it in. They sent it back to get resoldered and the diamond replaced. This took about a month to get back. When I did finally get it back the soldering was good but it took 3 days for another diamond to fall out. So back in I went. They said they needed to order new bands because 7 diamonds were lose. They should have done that in the first place. I waited 2 weeks to get the new bands and another week to get them soldered together again. I went back in today to pick it up and the woman I spoke with said it had already been inspected and it looks great. I should have learned from my previous experience that I need to check before I leave but I didnt. I get home and there is a very noticeable gap between the rings. Im so pissed off and tired of this that I will never buy from here again and once my credit card is paid off it will be closed!!
Came here once to look at engagement rings and staff wouldn’t take no for an answer. Pushy, rude, and judgmental. Went in today to look for wedding bands and staff didn’t look up all, or even acknowledge our existence.
Waiting half an hour just to return a watch...
