I can’t deny that I’ve had some previous bad experiences with McGrath over the years, but decided to give them another chance and I couldn’t be happier with that decision! I found a car I liked online and reached out to inquire about it, Matt went above and beyond by filming a video showing off the car and sending it to me as I was unable to go see it for a week. They held the car and when I went in, BC and KC made the entire process very simple and easy. Very impressed with the Westdale location, I would be happy to go back to them when I’m ready for my next vehicle.

After a horrid experience with another location, I was referred to Everett. I think he did a great job at active listening and got me into a car that I adore and I’m proud to be driving. I have bought two cars prior to buying this newcar so a total of 3 cars, everyone here has been amazing however Matt has now helped with two of these purchase and let me tell you he is always going about and beyond, he was very friendly, professional and very attentive. We bought 2016 Buick on the 26 of April 2021. Juan Alvarez really did a great job assisting us with everything we needed.

I bought a 2008 Camry from the dealership with low miles. Excellent vehicle, has served me well. Initial transaction went very well, and the test drive was smooth. Was very pleased with the dealership and the salesman, Ethan who I had worked with.A few years later, vehicle is paid off. So I reviewed all of the amounts/documents and the initial loan amount seemed off. After I spoke to the bank with them seeing no issues, I then called into the dealership and spoke to the finance manager about it. Seemed like a Super nice guy at first. He appeared to put the customer first, and reviewed the documents and said I’d likely see close to a $1000 credit comeback due to some policies that should have been canceled and that the turnaround takes two weeks. I then waited roughly two weeks, and made a couple of follow up calls after seeing nothing come through. I contacted my bank, and they stated to contact the dealership. I FINALLY got ahold of the finance manager and it was basically a brush off call, stating “The car has too many miles now, no credits are being issued.” “Sorry, that’s on me’”Really does well for the stereotype of “Shady Car Sales”It’s very concerning how the MANAGER holds NO accountability, uses empty words, and can just easily brush you off in a situation like that. Additionally, their push, pull, drag offer is bogus.With that being said, I DO NOT recommend using visiting this dealership for a vehicle purchase. Things seemed to have gone downhill since my original purchase.Find another McGrath dealership to work with, and purchase privately!

Saban was awesome to work with! Found a car we liked but the check engine light was on. Later that day he made sure it got to the shop and fixed in a timely manner! The buying process was so easy. Kc also went through everything with the financing making sure I knew my options as well as what everything ment. They also have been helpful after the fact too. Highly recommend the team, but especially saban!

We initially had a good experience with purchasing a car 2/1. My husband received a call yesterday about signing the title. He went by today and had to re sign the paperwork because they were filled out incorrectly giving us warranty on a certified used car. Turns out its not a certified used car and we have virtually no warranty. We made the decision to not purchase an additional warranty because of the certified used car warranty. We were not asked again today about a warranty even though we had to re sign all the paperwork. We are now past the 3 day 150 mile return for any reason time. Im extremely disappointed. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. We would think twice about going back to Westdale or any McGrath Auto.

Made a deal on a vehicle and drove 100 miles. The only request I had was the sales person walk around and look for rust before I drive all that way. He assured me there was no rust. We got there there was 3 feet line of rust bubbled up on the hood. Its no wonder dealers get a bad name.

I had gotten a car and told nothing was wrong with it. I noticed the rim on one of the tires needed replaced and they said they would fix it. It never happened. I had not one more problem with the car but 2. (Needed a purge valve and the wiring to the air bag was wrapping around the steering wheel) Spencer was extremely rude and didn’t seem like he really cared about the safety of me or my son. The car was in the shop more than I had it. I have gone there 3 times before and had no problem with my service until this time. I will NEVER go back.

We were in a situation where we needed a replacement car and didnt want to mess around, had a couple models and prices in mind went to Westside used car and Tate Buck searched inventory for what worked for us . Pretty painless experience and left with a fair deal, would do business again with them.

The sales and finance guys were willing to go beyond normal duty calls to make sure I got exactly what I wanted.

Sales person was great love the car. But Tyler the manager either lied or didnt follow thru on his part and ended up putting my checking at a negative balance and bouncing two checks before i caught it. 3 calls over 3 days and still no call back. 2nd car i bought from this place treated hood till now will not be back or recomend to others!

I came here to buy a car and in the purchase agreement they wrote that they would detail my car, and provide me with working key fobs. As most know after 30 days they do not need to follow this. I tried calling them many times and I kept getting the go around of Oh buddy isnt here right now Oh we will give you a call back to schedule I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THESE PEOPLE. Not even a year later and the transmission went out on this car. NEVER BUYING FROM MCGRATH AUTO AGAIN

Months ago I ask for information about a car. Ended up getting sold the day before I was supposed to look at it. Every couple of weeks since I got in a message asking if I was ready to start looking again. This is like the 4th time. I said no I really cant afford that right now, I had some unexpected expenses. I got a great car from there and it was fairly priced. Great and friendly people willing to help and address concerns. The only downside is that my car I got has had a few problems since I got it from there about a month ago. Needed new wiper blades, and as of now I need to replace my breaks pads and rotors. My only thing to say if you are going to buy make sure the service techs give you a list of things that have been done and havent been done. Overall great experience and would recommend them even though I have some issues with my car.

I visited this location to inquire about trading in my Ford Focus on a Dodge Ram 1500. My sales consultant Drew did a really good job but we had difficulty making the numbers work. Denny Zimmerman the sales director however, decided to play games and try to talk down to me. Denny only managed to cost Drew a sale and make sure I will never shop that location again. I did get a better equipped ram 1500 at another dealer the next day for $5k less. See Denny, you saved me $5,000 after all.

So I went to Westdale Used Car Superstore looking for a Subaru WRX. They did not have one but they tried selling me a variety of other cars that I did not want. Since they did not have the car that I was looking for, they found one at another dealership in Des Moines, IA. They said that they will buy it from that dealer so that they can sell it to me. I asked if I can look at the car before buying it. They said that their General Manager will take a look at it and tell me everything that he notices is wrong with the car. They said he is very “experienced”. They also said that they will do their famous 161 point inspection and fix everything wrong with the car before I got it. I trusted them because I have bought from McGrath before and they were good. They said the only things wrong were some minor holes in the seat. When I got the car, the front bumper was loose, the front tires were bald, the car was not aligned, the air filter was extremely rusty and crumbling apart, the engine was smoking because of oil leaking onto the exhaust, and check engine light was on. They said the check engine light was on because of the modified exhaust. I took the car to Autozone to get the check engine codes checked. The car has a faulty wastegate solenoid for the turbo. So they lied to me again. They said mostly likely they will not fix anything on the car. So here I am with a car that cost me 20K and I have to fix a whole bunch of things on it. I am extremely unhappy. That’s what I get for trusting McGrath. Typical dealership that does not care about the customer, they just care about making sales.

I need to tell you all about the great experience I just had at McGraths Westdale Used Car Superstore. I should start by saying I was nervous to approach buying a car on my own. I had been married for 20 years and my husband always took care of that. Also, I didnt have much credit so my FICO score was not where I would like it to be so I wasnt even sure I could get approve for financing. And finally, you hear scary stories about the big bad used car salesman. I laugh about that now because as soon as I reached out to Ryan at McGraths all of those concerns disappeared. Ryan was attentive, available and he really listened to me about what I wanted in a car and what I had financially. He got right to work finding me the perfect car! I am so proud of my Jeep Renegade! It is a far nicer vehicle than I dreamed I would be able to buy. And Ryan and the rest of the team worked for me and got me great financing. The day I went in to make it official I met and got to know everyone there. Everyone wanted to spend time to get to know me, like I was a guest in the family home. Never have the vehicle you go to look at. Its always At our Davenport lot, but we can show you cars you have no interest in. Ugh! We were told the car we wanted to see would be in front and ready. This seems to be a frequent issue with McGrath.

I bought a car from Westdale and it was the best experience I have ever had while purchasing a vehicle. I did not feel pressured into buying something I was not comfortable with. Everett and Devin worked very hard to find a vehicle I liked and that was within my price range and they did, well exactly 30 days later I was rear ended and my car was totaled. I have to say I was dreading car shopping, but Everett was terrific to work with. No pressure and was totally honest in answering my questions. He let me take the car home to let my husband look at it over his lunch break with no hassle at all. I had some issues looking over the financing paperwork once I got home and called 1st thing the next morning. Talked with Devin and he was able to get everything straightened out. I stopped back in that afternoon and he had everything ready to go. I was out of there in 20 min. It was a great experience and I love the new car!
