Our water heater went out and couldn’t get our usual plumbers here same day. We were referred to LINS from one of the many plumbers we contacted; they arrived same day. They worked directly with the manufacturer on our warranty and returned the next day to replace our water heater. They were done in a matter of an hour, maybe two. Fast, efficient, friendly and responsive. Needless to say, we’ve found our new go to! Highly recommend!

We were extremely impressed with the thoroughness and conscientiousness of the service man who arrived on time and was polite add focused. We had previously for some years used another contractor but because our daughter had recommended your Company so highly we decided to switch and we have absolutely no regrets. We are dissipate being pliance of this company for a long time. It should be noted that our mini splits Dial work much more efficiently and effectively they had previously one service by our previous contractor.

I called in the morning in and was told that it may be a few days before they could get to my air conditioner. Steve was pleasant and professional and I asked to be put on a list if there was a cancelation. Lucky for me there was one the same day. Kasey showed up and was also professional and did a great job explaining what he was doing and why. He was social and was good with my three dogs. My fix was simple and Kasey said hed check back the next day if needed. I called Steve the next day and said Kaseys repair worked. We made it through the weekend and Steve called me today on his own to see how things were. I will definitely be using them in the future. Highly recommended!!

We use Lins for all of our heating and air conditioning needs. They installed our air conditioning today and did a wonderful job. You could feel it throughout the house and they were extremely professional. I had to leave early this morning and they were there on time and prompt (even though it turned out plans changed and my husband was home).

Lins has taken great are with us and our air conditioner. The first trip our did not fix our problem so they came out a second time free of charge. Diagnosed the problem and returned on a Friday evening at 6 to fix the problem. I will be doing all my business with Lins from now on.

I have always had excellent service with this company and they have been on time or early. I was told that they would be here from 12-1 PM. I waited a full hour with no call saying they were running late. Upon his arrival when I mentioned he was an hour late, his response was Im just a little late. He was not friendly just went on his way. He did show me how to use humidifier, but it would have been nice to know he was running late and friendlier upon arrival. I will still use this company but they need to remind they employees to be congenial.

Woke up to a 50° House so I called at 8 am and we had someone at our home 2 hours later! Jay was courteous and got right to work. He found the issue, replaced the part and did fall maintenance. I was expecting a large bill but was pleasantly surprised by how affordable it was. A+ experience! You will always have our business.

I was referred to Lins and they were right about how awesome they are! Worker was knowledgeable, did everything possible to find any problems and was honest that all it needed was a tune up! Very affordable too! Will definitely use again if needed!

Our LP gas furnace quit operating last week just as more snow and very cold temperatures were coming. Bad timing! Marc sent his technician Shane out to diagnose the problem: a cracked heat exchanger that prevented the unit from firing up. Marc was able to locate a replacement but had to drive to Davenport early the next morning, through sub-zero temperatures and terrible driving conditions, to pick it up. Federal Express and UPS had shut down due to the bad weather. The same day, after the county maintainer finally cleared our rural road, Shane came back out to install it. Thanks to Lins, we have heat again! We really appreciate their going above and beyond to get us back to a safe situation. Thank you very much!

Extremely easy to do business with

Our family has used LINS Heating & Air Conditioning for years. They are friendly, professional and responsive. They perform annual service checkups at a reasonable price for our HVAC and hot water heaters.The winter before last, our carbon monoxide sensors went off early in the morning. LINS sent a tech right out to find the problem. We had a cracked heat exchanger. It was a very cold day. No matching replacement furnace was available in town. The owner arranged for the closest supplier to meet him on the highway halfway to our town. He diverted several of his crews to our house and helped with the job personally. They had the old unit replaced and the new one up running in a couple of hours. This allowed us to stay in our home instead of a hotel. The price LINS charged us was incredibly fair. We have been recommending them to friends without hesitation. We will continue to rely on their incredible service in the future!

Fantastic service. We had a tech out to do a yearly tune up on our AC and Furnace and he was amazing and friendly. He took his time and checked everything. He was very professional and let us know what needed to be fixed in the near future so we were aware that we needed some work done. The lady I spoke with on the phone to make the appointment was super friendly and had great customer service skills. I would definitely recommend LINS Heating & Air.

Since moving to the area in 2018 I have used them exclusively for a reason. They are all of the things i have checked. Fair pricing and quality work while being on time. great run business.

We wanted our first gas fireplace in our new to us home to be looked at for a couple of issues. We created mental and physical games to get the switch to ignite the flame. Once lit, the flame might go out 15 minutes later, sometimes come back on minutes later, or stay off altogether. We originally scheduled the appointment for late March, pre-COVID-19. LINS customer service person was understanding of our comfort level and we ended up rescheduling several times until June 26th. The day arrived and our tech, C. called if it was okay to come early. We all donned our masks and he donned booties for his shoes. I appreciated the actions for his safety, as well as ours. C. explained all we needed to know about the fireplace for operation and cleaning purposes. He then cleaned everything up and was able to trouble shoot our issues, then resolve our concerns. Our tech was wonderful!! C. was polite, respectful, professional and personable. C. made great recommendations and I took lots of notes. We will be repeat customers and request this tech in the future.

We were fortunate Kasey from LINS heating & air conditioning repaired our furnace on a super cold day. He arrived with a great attitude, assessed, found the necessary part locally and repaired our furnace promptly. We will call LINS in the spring for AC maintenance.

Very Bad Experience. Mark is rude. They will try and up sell you when it isnt needed. Like going to a questionable mechanic.

LINS installed two AC units for our church and gave us a great price and great service. Communication was prompt and courteous. The installation guys were friendly, did their work well and cleaned everything up. Both units are working just fine. We are completely satisfied.

It was very good getting a checklist of all items done with the invoice. Quite a number of things done that needed to be done. Only one item that was a negative. The tech on the service call used our filter that was sitting by the furnace. They did not furnish one. Thought that should have been provided.Other than that, it was a very good experience. (On time, cleaned up, etc.)

I had a technician come out on a Friday due to my house not cooking down, the technician put refrigerant in the unit which helped cool my house. I turned it off for the weekend duento cooler weather. Then on Monday when it was turned back on it once again was not cooking, my wife spoke with the owner on Tuesday morning and he was completely unprofessional and rude to her telling her that its not his fault that our unit is old and its out problem. When a technician arrived on Tuesday afternoon he then informed us that our compressor was bad and we were told that if we chose to have another company replace the air conditioner he would charge us a second servic fee but if we had them do it he would waive the service fee. Apparently its acceptable to strong arm customers to have work done by them!

Lins will be my go to! Scheduling the appointment was easy and the scheduler was very nice. Most times I call to make appointments and the people answering the phones should not be the first point of contact for their company. That was not the case with Lins. The lady was genuinely nice.The service tech was prompt, professional, informative and also very nice. We were very please with the service we received. The cherry on top was that the fee was reasonable.Lins earned my loyalty today.

Replacing 4 of the 5 air handlers that had failed in a 3 story senior residence, fielding questions from the residents, and even fabrication of a last minute ductwork part Wayne and his crew are just part of the team that LINS has assembled to make sure my project was completed on time and no call backs. LINS Heating & Air Conditioning was probably the most efficient company I have ever worked with. When I called there, they told me some of their workers were just finishing up a job in our area. They literally had a truck in front of our house before I got off the phone. They gave me a quote for 2 different sizes of water heaters. Ours needed to be replaced since it was slowly leaking water. The price to install the new one was the lowest of three quotes we had received. I looked up the brand of water heater on the internet and it was actually rated higher than a more expensive one I was offered by another company. If my memory is right, they where able to install the water heater the next day. The only reason we even knewn the water heater was leaking was because I was getting estimates on having a whole house humidifier installed on a furnace we purchased a year before. LINS gave me a quote on the humidifier that afternoon (the Friday before Christmas) and offered to install the it the following Monday if I called back by 4:30 in the afternoon. I was not able to do that, but they were still able to install the humidifier the Thursday after Christmas. The owner, the phone staff, and the installers we all polite and knowledgeable. The gentleman that put in the humidifier answered a whole host of questions and was very patient and understanding. I would highly recommend LINS for any heating and cooling work. It was wonderful to deal with a local company that was so responsive and reasonably priced. The quality of their customer service was far and above the company that installed our new heater and air conditioner. I wish I would have purchased those from LINS and had them install the original HVAC. I would definitely use them in the future and have them do any necessary maintenance on our HVAC.

My boiler was cycling for a short period of time and then cycling off. I called Julie at Lins at 8:00 in the morning and she said she could have a technician out by 11:00 or 12:00 that same morning. Scott from Lins arrived at 10:45 and ran the boiler through a series of diagnostic tests until he could identify the problem as an intake air blockage. He removed the blockage (it was in a portion of the pipe that could not be observed without taking the plumbing apart) and re-ran the diagnostic test to confirm that the problem was resolved. I was very impressed that Scott ran tests to identify the problem rather than just throwing parts or labor at it to see what would or wouldnt work. Both Julie and Scott were friendly and professional. This was my first experience with Lins and I will be using them again in the future for all my HVAC needs.

I just had my air conditioner cleaned, Im feeling pretty sheepish that I didnt do this sooner. Scott suggested a couple of things to improve the air flow and ways to keep the unit cleaner. Had Lin’s heating and air put in new furnace and air conditioning on time as scheduled then was finished installing in a timely manner. Great customer service and also when I got home from work that night, I discovered that i had no hot water, the next morning I called Lin’s and they said Thayer would be here before noon. Extremely disappointed. I have used Lins for nearly seven years. But now Ive spent two months trying pretty diligently to get a new smart thermostat from them. Ive called about weekly, talked at least three times to employees and left a message, actually GOT a message from Marc about options and returned his call within 10 minutes (to no avail), and sent two emails. Nothing. I finally went to a competitor, had a lovely conversation about options on my first call, and within two days had my new thermostat. I wont be calling Lins again.
