I have been interested in completing a reproduction of my grandmother’s engagement ring from the 1930s that I inherited as it was too fragile after a lifetime of wear to use for myself. After attempting to engage in the process with a few stores over the years, I felt frustrated by the price gouging and lack of competence.After moving to the Apex area and seeing the reviews for JM Edwards, on a whim I dropped in to inquire about the possibility of the custom work to finally finish this project. I knew from the onset of meeting Carl and the genuine interest he expressed that this could become a reality.We sat down and ended up spending 3 hours discussing a multitude of topics from design to process to expectations. Carl’s knowledge and design input was tantamount to the success of the ring. When I picked up the ring it took a great deal for me not to become overcome with emotion. It exceeded any expectations I could have conjured up.JM Edwards has gained my business as a trusted and valued resource.

I had a older ring (20 years old) that lost its stone .Fortunately I was able to find the stone but the setting needed repair. The service gentleman was excellent in preparing me an estimate. He also gave me options in repairing the ring. When picking up my ring a young lady waited on me. She was very polite and gave me time to inspect the repair. I was overwhelmed with the beauty of the ring which looked like it was brand new. I was so happy to have it restored. The ring was very sentimental to me. A big thank you for an excellent job at a reasonable price.

I would like to take an opportunity to completely retract my past review of JM Edwards Jewelry. When I first contacted them about a complete Rolex service I was not aware of the strict guidelines that Rolex demands of its authorized dealers. After leaving my review I was contacted by Carl Edwards the owner and he was more than eager to make things right about sending my watch to Rolex for the necessary repairs as well as the ones required by Rolex. We were able to sit down and talk face to face and he discussed what he had to do as a Rolex dealer and I was able to get a few things that I was adamant about as a customer. And at the end of our conversation I agreed to let him send my watch to Rolex and I cant say enough about how happy I am with the outcome of this experience! My watch is absolutely amazing looking now and I have a whole new respect for Carl Edwards as a man of his word and a true business man. Something I thought was long gone in todays business world. I feel like I made the best decision to send my watch through JM Edwards to Rolex because Carl walked me through the process and made sure at the end of the day I was happy! Over the last few years my husband and I have purchased merchandise that is of superior quality at what I have found to be very competitive pricing. I have had to literally reconstruct older family pieces for various reasons leaving the craftsmanship details to them which could be very tricky if not near impossible. I have been blown away by the beautiful results. Tara and Evette (sorry for any misspelling!) were SO helpful in guiding me through the concepts that were possible. I do not have a huge jewelry arsenal, but the pieces I buy or have to modify are ones that are important more for sentimental reasons. I would encourage any young couple planning engagement and wedding rings to check them out. Their ability to customize a wedding piece would certainly be of excellent quality as well as unique. I have been a customer of JM Edwards Jewelry for a little over 5 months now, and I can definitely agree with every other reviewer on Google: these guys are absolutely amazing and so excellent at what they do! Their customer service, friendliness, attention to detail, and willingness to go above and beyond to make sure they find exactly what you are looking for is incredible, and I can say I have never met or worked with a retail store this good.I actually initially contacted their store using the online form, as I was looking for a discontinued Rolex watch, however not a model that was very much in demand as their current sports steel models are, or expensive. Carl Edwards immediately reached out and notified me that they did not have that exact watch, but he had a similar model. However, he knew that I was looking for a specific dial color, and contacted Rolex directly and was able to source the watch for me and let me know immediately.Working with Christian Hale of JM Edwards has been absolutely great. He is extremely knowledgeable and detail oriented, but is always very friendly and welcoming, and will always work to make sure that every need is met: whether it be sizing a watch bracelet, getting an appraisal, or keeping me updated on an order and when it is arriving. He even will offer good insight and advice on factors I have not even thought about, and is also always willing to work with my schedule, no matter how busy he and their store are. For example, he is so good that he even will take care to make sure that the spare links on a watch bracelet are properly aligned as to not scratch each other.Every time I have been into JM Edwards, every member of their staff is always willing and eager to assist and answer any questions, even if I am just looking. 5 stars is not even high enough for how great this store is! Karen was spectacular in helping us pick out and design the perfect engagement and wedding ring. After the wedding band was completed she inspected and noticed that it wasn’t completely built the way we wanted it and had it redone within a week. I recently lost the diamond in my ring and took it to multiple jewelers to get it restored. My requirement was that I wanted a lab diamond, for various reasons. Most either couldnt find what I was looking for or were not interested in taking the time. I found JM Edwards in Cary and they had stellar reviews, so I took my ring there. Karen not only found exactly what I was looking for, but also had 3 other options to choose from. They brought my ring back to the same brilliance as the day my husband gave it to me 20 years ago. I found this wonder place in looking to have an heirloom ring cleaned and polished. Not only did they do a beautiful job, it was complementary, and the pieces they have for sale are just beautiful. Some of the most amazing stones Ive ever seen. When its time for me to purchase my bridal set, I have found the perfect place to do that. Very friendly and helpful staff as well. :)

My purchase at J.M. Edwards was delightful. Before purchasing Rolex watch I visited other stores in the area selling new and used Rolex watches. The used Rolex watches were more than you could buy a new one and the other store in area selling new Rolex seemed more interested in guiding me towards what they had in stock versus what I wanted to purchase. Additional mark ups to price at new store over Rolex MSRP turned me away from those stores too. Karen, at J.M. Edwards was very respectful and knowledgeable during the entire purchasing process. She provided Rolex brochure book without asking and gave updates on the special ordering process which was very quick in receiving watch. I could not recommend J.M. Edwards enough.

I recently proposed to my girlfriend, Ashley, of almost six years and the people at J.M. Edwards Jewelry were nothing but fantastic. I had the pleasure of working with Karen and she was absolutely amazing during this exciting process. My fiancees mother passed away two years ago, so we wanted to incorporate her wedding ring into ours. Karen was able to order the three stone ring that we wanted and placed Ashleys mothers diamond in the middle. She helped me get exactly what I wanted, walked me through the entire process and kept me constantly updated on our timeline. The entire staff at J.M. Christian was an absolute pleasure to work with, and he is not there to sell jewelry but build relationships. I bought my rolex from another dealer and thought there would upcharges and fees given that I purchased somewhere else (didn’t know about JM Edwards until later).He went in at 5AM the next day to take care of the watch like his own, tuned and tightened it up, and packaged the watch as if it came new. He is the most genuine, kind-hearted, and knowledgeable Rolex dealer in the area, and I’ve visited all 3 dealers in the area.I highly recommend going to JD Edwards and working with Christian for your next jewelry purchase!

I found out about JM Edwards after a neighbor posted about their amazing experience.Im a recent widow and decided to go in and see about having my engagement ring resized to fit my right hand. Christian greeted me as soon as I entered the store and got right to work with figuring out what new size I would need. He even figured out a way to resize my ring, and fix the little gap in my wrap band for less then he had first written down. I mean, who does that? He went down on the price!?!? He then also stated that my other two bands, that didnt need to be resized, could be left and he would have all 3 rings cleaned and get their rhodium plating done...at no extra cost.I also recently purchased a necklace to wear my husbands wedding ring on and when I took off the necklace to inquire about one day getting the ring resized, I got weepy. He quickly took me to his office for privacy and gave me time to get myself together. Because of the type of ring, it cant be resized but he went out of his way to check out my necklace to make sure it was sautered in all of the places it needed to be so that it wouldnt break causing me to loose my husbands band. He didnt have to do that but because he knew how important that ring is he wanted to make sure. He did catch where it could stand to have some extra reinforcement and so I had them fix that as well.I cant speak highly enough of him. Im so grateful for his help. He took the time to ask about my late husband, which he certainly didnt need to do, and showed a level of care that Im positive I would not have found at a big name jewelry store.While I dont spend much time at jewelry stores I am for sure coming here anytime I need to purchase something or have something done. I went to the store after calling Christian a few weeks prior, and was met with complete professionalism. Ive been searching for a professional jeweler since moving down here from the NYC area over 8 years ago. The search is OVER!!!! Christian is AMAZING!!! Not only did he help us with a fabulous Christmas gift for me a couple of years ago but he also helped me recreate my Grandmothers wedding band. I inherited her band after she passed away and while it was small in comparison to many pieces these days, Christian treated it like it was the most precious ring! It had broken from 2 generations of wear. He presented a few different options and also found an option that restored it to what it would have looked like back in the 1930s. It is GORGEOUS and perfect!!!! I cant thank him and JM Edwards enough for always going above and beyond for their clients. We have found our home jeweler for sure!!!
