I Just love when I bring my Jewelery to get repaired to Arthur he is very upfront and honest and if he thinks something is not worth repairing also I am a real Jewelery lover and any time he has fixed a piece of any kind of Jewelery or watch for me I NEVER had to go back to have him repair it again because I was not happy he is a real true Craftsman of fixing making and repairing all kinds of Jewelery and watches I would highly recommend his services to anyone !

Fixed my wedding ring in a day! The diamond came off the band. He explained what he would need to do right behind the counter and I could see him examining it( unlike most places) His pricing was way better than other places that quoted me.

I had the glass window on my boyfriend’s watch repaired and it turned out beautiful! They completed the repair in a few days and at an extremely reasonable price! I highly recommend them!

I just wanna know the nagging question about his shop (& if youve ever been here, youll know what Im talking about)..... How does Arthur get the hundreds of clocks he has displayed to be perfectly timed w/each other twice a year when the time changes?! I picture him to be like the guy doing the plate spinning trick on Bozos circus!! Lol!

Overpriced, wanted to charge 250$ to fix mechanical watch, part 10$ retail....its like the cost of replacing the whole engine in a car

Horrible experience. I gave it 1 star because I could not do 0. The owner was very rude. He only took a peek at my watches and said they were made in China. Before going to him I took the watches to a jewelry shop. I was told they are real but could not give me a value. That is why I came here. Other people that I know also said he is very rude and cocky. Will make sure to tell people about him. Very unprofessional. I am only sorry I came here.

Came in to get watch fitted, he did it in under 10 seconds and didn’t have to remove any links so he did it charge free. Great service would recommend!

I took my various automatics here to be repaired. Arthur is a quirky and a person in love with his longtime profession of fixing timepieces. My watches are all swiss movements and he normally has them apart and looking at them before I can explain what is wrong with them. He then proceeds to explain the movement and how he will repair it.I have few business dealings in my life where I trust someone like I do with this guy. I now live very far away, and I just send my watch insured to him and trust his work and response.

I brought my grandmothers Linden mantel clock in to be repaired at Tick Tock Clock in Palatine to have work done on it, because I wasnt pleased because of the veneer bulging out from the screws used to hold the movement in place after getting it back from Gold-Watch. I JUST received a call from them on the quote for repair and was informed that the movement was from 1967. My grandmother received that clock as a gift from my parents I believe in 1959 as I was about 10 at the time. The only work done on that clock was at Gold-Watch, which he charged me a couple hundred dollars about 5 yrs. ago. So instead of repairing the clock as he was supposed to, he swapped out the 1955 movement and put one in from 1967. The guy doesnt even deserve 1 star pulling a stunt like that.

The man who owns this shop works quickly and will make small talk while he repairs your jewelry. I have taken my wrist watches to him for almost a decade, and I have never been disappointed.

Unbelievably rude. Walked in looking for a glass dome for my weather station. He said it would be $160, and that I should just go to Home Depot and cut the glass myself. He didnt even give me time to decide if the $160 was worth it. Take your possessions elsewhere.
