Customer service is a key part with any business. I usually have good experiences. Unfortunately, C.C was not very pleasant. She didnt greet me with a hello or anything. It was a get in and get out kinda attitude. I felt uncomfortable the moment i met her. Not gonna lie, kinda of afraid to go back there and get her again. No need for a response. Ive seen some of the owner responses and they are about as pleasant as C.C.

Took my son in for a hair cut and Casandra was the stylist and she was very professional and very good energy. Would recommend her for further services and to other people.

I went to Eneyda for a high and tight with a razor fade, and she did a phenomenal job. First, her attention to detail is unrivaled--everything from the start to finish was professional and meticulous. She made me feel as though I was at a retro-style barber shop because she not only cut my hair, but shampooed it, trimmed my eyebrows, and ended it with a shoulder massage. Eneyda is also friendly and personable, so there was no uncomfortable silence, as is the case with so many other shops. If I could give more than five stars, I would. And, not to mention, the price was less than a similar competitor, which in my experience provides a fraction of the quality of service for more money! Bravo!!

Edit: After the owner has called me out for not leaving a reviewI paid for a haircut and an attitudeAfter receiving a haircut from my stylist last week, I was not happy with how it turned out after the first cut as it was still longer than I wanted it. After asking my stylist to cut it again, she lost her patience with me and was not professional for the remainder of my visit. She became very quiet and I could tell she did not want me there. She finished with my haircut to my liking and walked me up up front. Her attitude never changed and I definitely did not feel welcome there 😒

I went to The Guys Place for the first time and was blown away by the level of service I got. I walked in as soon as they opened. They were able to get me a appointment within 30 minutes which was perfectly fine with me. During the appointment scheduling, there was a rude customer and instead of popping back at him, they remained professional.CC is the stylist who cut my hair. I gave her a picture to work with and she was able to work with it without any issues. She was very personable, friendly and clearly, experienced. They have earned my repeat business going forward.

Dont take your kids here for a haircut! Parents (not even one) are allowed in the building while your kid is getting a haircut. This is a problem on a few levels. I made it clear when I booked my appointment that it was for a child and I wasnt told this was the case. Had I known, I wouldnt have booked it. I chose this shop based on the reviews. I cant speak for the other stylists but Heather was extremely rude and seemed to be bothered during the entire experience. I would NOT recommend her. Trust me, your better off going to Great Clips or a discount chain for that type of service.

Heather gave me a razor fade. She was very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend her to anyone. I will definitely be going back to have her cut my hair again.

Individual stations with TVs at each, haircuts are pretty consistent from stylist to stylist, price did increase to $20 up from $12-$15

Went in for a hair cut and the girl was sitting on the couch watching tv when I walked in. Once I talked to her she told she didn’t have an opening until 30minutes later. As I walked out she went right back to watching tv on the couch. This is the second time I have tried to give this establishment some business and never again.

I actually had the same thing happen to me as the person who posted below me. My son is only 6 years old and Heather did not allow me to be with him while I was getting his haircut and was very rude and unsympathetic. No one informed of me of this rule prior to making the appointment either or I would never have came. She told me I had to wait in my car and leave my little 1st grader there all by himself. I never leave him alone with strangers. I told her I was uncomfortable about the situation and she had no remorse or understanding what so ever. She had an attitude with us the minute we called to say we were outside until the time we paid. I even asked if I could wait in the vestibule and she told me no to that as well. She made me wait in my car and called me when she was done. At the end while we tried to pay my son sat on a chair in the vestibule and she flipped out and yelled at him across the room and told him to get up while she sprayed it down angrily. At the end my son told me how scared he was while he was alone with her. I would never bring a child into this establishment to get a haircut. I can see this place is unprofessional by not only Heather but how the owner responded to the person below me. Take my advise take your children elsewhere.

C.C. at the Cary location is super awesome, along with the other ladies that work there also, but that C. C. .. mmm mmm mmm she is good with some clippers and cutting. Come check everybody at The Guys Place(but mostly C.C.)😉

The new receptionist, Taylor is very sweet and very helpful when it comes to customer service. She always makes sure I come in happy and at my best convenience. They all are doing a great job and I will definitely be coming back for other services.

Neck massage, hot towel for my face when I leaned back for a wash... I didnt have to leave my chair for the wash either. It was all right there! My hair isnt the easiest to work with at all, but she always does an amazing job. She stays fairly busy so be sure to call ahead of you can, as Heidi is worth the wait if one is necessary!

Came for my first time and will be back whenever I’m in town! You can’t beat 18.75 for a quality cut and relaxing shampoo. The salon atmosphere is very laid back and well kept up. My stylist was Amanda, she was friendly and asked lots of questions to make sure she understood what I wanted for my hair and beard. I hope she is still there next time I am back!

I love this place!

I’ve been going here for 5-6 months now and Ive been 100% satisfied with my haircut every time. I schedule with Heather and she does a great job. She’s very friendly and knows what she’s doing. I usually get a 1.5 taper on the sides and clean up the top, and I’m usually out in 20 minutes, including the shampoo and massage. I highly recommend this place and would definitely recommend Heather!

The receptionist Taylor was extremely helpful the first time I came in and made me feel welcomed. I totally recommend this place if your looking for a new place to get your hair done.

I was a little hesitant to go into the guys place to get my eyebrows waxed, knowing it was a mens salon. But a male coworker recommended Amanda to me for a wax. I was very pleased with her services and demeanor. She made me feel welcome and I will definitely be going back!

Typically, I can count on a good hair cut here. Dont get me wrong, you have certain stylists that leave me impressed. But my most recent haircut was different. I apologize if I shouldnt be using names, but I the stylist that was assigned to me was Amanda. To begin with, she took her time in the bathroom before my cut, clearly in no rush to be of service to her customer. Secondly was her rudeness. She did not bother to start up a conversation, and left us both in an uncomfortable silence, and also talked to me in an upset tone when she asked how I wanted my hair cut. Finally, and most of all, was the cut itself. I described how I would like my hair to be cut and explained it in the same way I always do: a 2-4 fade with the front flipped up. After making me repeat myself and describe it more in depth, she absolutely butchered it. the first cut she made was with a razor right down my whole head. After that she continued this and gave me a straight up buzz cut. She didnt even use the scissors which caused the cuts to be more inaccurate. Now I will have to go around looking like a wreck for the next few weeks.

Great place to get a cut! I highly recommend seeing Hope! She is bubbly and sweet but also extremely knowledgeable and talented. I can’t imagine anyone not being more than satisfied when scheduled with Hope! She gives a great scalp massage!

Ive been going to the Cary Guys Place for the past three years Ive lived down here. Always have had a good/great experience (say a 7 or 8 out of 10), but today Hope blew my socks off. 10/10. The hair cutter was professionally, but not very friendly. I wouldnt call her a stylist though. I didnt leave with a new hairstyle, more like a very trimmed version of my old style. At a certain point there isnt enough hair left to correct mistakes. She was not very careful with the hair trimming and I left covered in my own hair. I didnt get the full Guys place treatment, which was a bit disappointing.
