I was a customer of Bill’s until recently. Bill would come every other Friday to mow my lawn, and until recently, everything was good. One Wednesday (7/15), two days before Bill was schedule to come, I received a text message from him telling me that he’s ending his business with me because he had switched to a commercial mower, which would no longer be able to mow a residential home like mine. I texted back right away asking if he would be able to mow my lawn one more time on Friday as scheduled. He never returned my text, and I believe he blocked me right away after texting me as my text was unable to be delivered. I tried calling him the next day and was able to confirm that he had blocked me as even the phone call could not get through.During the months we worked together, I always paid right away and never missed a payment. All my communications to him were polite and we never had a disagreement. I would be fine if he gave me the notice earlier, as I’m sure people don’t just simply decide to purchase a commercial mower in a day. I would also understand if he was switching to commercial services only; he has all the right to do whats best for his business.However, the manner in which he provided notice, and then subsequently blocked me for no apparent reason was shocking, rude, and irresponsible. If you are currently working with him, make sure you have a backup plan lined up in case he suddenly bails on you and then blocks you.

Bill did an excellent job weeding, laying down new mulch and hedging for me. He was very detail oriented in order to give it a nice clean look. When I asked his opinion on other lawn care needs he was very honest and upfront about the “best bang for my buck” options which included him consulting on timing, what he could do ... and what I could personally do if I wanted to save money. This created a great deal of trust. I highly recommend Bill and plan to use him in the future.

This is the first yardwork company I found both responsive and proactive. They were always nice, professional, and not only did what I asked but gave great advice about things I had not known I needed. I dont mean upselling, but things like noticing that a tree was getting into some wires. I heartily recommend them.
