I must say I have had a great experience with these apartments when it comes to Maintenance and getting the minor things fixed in my apartment. Since I have moved in any request I have submitted has been done in a decent time frame. Eldo always does a great job with getting the job done, and is respectful of my home whether I am away or in the home during my time frame for maintenance. He followed all rules that any maintenance team would have as of asking for my permission to enter my home, fixing the problem, and asking if there are any more problems I may seem to have to make sure I am satisfied with my living environment. Definitely would recommend these apartments!

I would like to appreciate Maintence gentleman Dallas for having great customer service. He was on call this weekend and I was having issues with my air conditioner, he changed the filter and explained how it may take awhile because it may have froze. I was satisfied with that bought a fan and was dealing with it. Dallas actually was concerned and came back to check on the temperature after an hour and found out it was moving so he went on the roof and found the problem. Because of Dallas actually caring about the resident I was not inconvenienced at all. All shout outs go to Dallas. I feel great knowing he’s here! Welcome to our community.

I have live here for 6 years and I seen a lot of office staff come and go, but with that being said I have to say that Joy is the best ever in all my 6 years here I love her compassion and humbleness shes is the best hands down, I wish that it was more people like her in this world, thanks Joy for being so amazing!!! And when it comes to maintenance I think Eldo is the best ever!

I toured this property last week in search of an apartment . It is a very nice property I like the pool area. The gym could use some help the equipment is a bit outdated but, it’s functional. I was helped by the assistant manager Joyce. She made the whole experience great!!! Joyce was very helpful, nice, professional and informative. From the service Joyce provided I could gather that they are very customer service oriented. This is very important when it’s comes to choosing an apartment complex to live in. I will definitely keep this property in my options.

The location, amenities, and staff are exceptional. There are fresh food markets, parks and bike trails near. The staff is courteous and professional. We placed a maintenance request and the staff completes it in under 24 hours. Highly recommended.

I really like living here! Fun community events and staff (I usually work with Joy and shes amazing)! And when it comes to maintenance, theyre timely and always work hard to fix the problem. Eldo always comes to our rescue, too, for anything we have problems with. I plan on stay here until we move out of the country, so, if you plan on staying State-side, this is the place to be!

I’ve lived at this community since March 2020. I tip my hat off to both Joy and Eldo for always providing excellent customer service. They are always reliable and professional. They have gone the extra mile whenever I have issues; whether it be my renewal or refrigerator replacement. My refrigerator went out and was leaking. I explained how this was an ongoing issue. Eldo had my refrigerator replaced immediately. On multiple occasions he’s came in to fix what the previous maintenance guys attempted and failed at.I don’t know how to split this review. If I could.. the five stars would be for Joy and Eldo. The property manager Sherry would receive zero stars.When attempting to renew my lease agreement I was treated less than a resident who is valued. Sheri was extremely rude and condescending. She had very little knowledge of her company or office protocol and treated me as if I was a nuisance. Rather than apologizing she became defensive of her staffs negligence. After also explaining to her that I was frustrated with the maintenance supervisor for not having a properly working fridge or ice maker she stated that I’m bringing up things that have nothing to do with my renewal. I take it she knows little about resident retention. She is zero help. #dobetter #residentsmatter

Don’t move here. The community is not well taken care of. It’s impossible to reach the office about any issues. When you do reach them, they’re rude. My apartment constantly smelt like weed from my neighbors and the management did nothing about it. I found a much nicer and similarly priced apartment in Carrollton 5 minutes from The Collection. Explore your options, there’s better out there. I would advise against moving into the Collection or any Lantower property.

We experienced great customer service during the leasing portion up until we moved in. It’s been very rocky trying to get work orders acknowledged and completed without having to physically go to the office to complain. Many items that should have been handled before move in were not addressed. I will say that Eldo and Mike (maintenance) have been the biggest help and we are very thankful for them.

LAUREN BROWN is currently the property manager. If you plan to lease here, RUN!I have a list of complaints that have been ignored and brought to corporate. However, NO ONE IN THIS COMPANY understands the meaning of a FOLLOW UP! I have plenty of evidence and list of the multiple issues at this complex. It was beautiful until she took over.BUT THE FACT that I just came home to MY FRONT DOOR BEING CRACKED OPEN AND UNLOCKED from a fire inspection!!!! I called the office to confirm that this inspection was complete and sure enough it was. I was placed on HOLD and not a returned call. (8/1/2018 5:30 p.m.) This is an extreme liability for the complex to not give a call back. This is just the most recent problem all due to that manager and the company that keeps her hired. I called the fire inspection company and they informed me that they do not have the key. The maintenance of the complex allows them in and out. I CAN NOT TRUST THIS MANAGEMENT, not knowing if you are walking in the middle of an inspection or your home being robbed?!? All because procedure and protocols are not in place with an employee that has access TO YOUR BELONGS AND PROPERTY!Also as of today, Lauren Brown wanted to send out a message to the complex stating an excuse as to why the swimming pool has been closed for the ENTIRE month of JULY!!!!! She stated that “ The swimming pool will hopefully be opened today (8/1). Unfortunately, due to someone making a compliant to the city of Carrollton there are inspections that needed to take place in order to open the pool back up, so hopefully today!” < The fact that youre blaming the residences that are complaining about the amenities they are paying for and can not use due to the negligence of maintenance “POOL EQUIPMENT NOT BEING REPAIRED is completely absurd!Furniture, trash building up, birds nest and poop everywhere IN THE HALL WAYS! When I brought this up to LAUREN she told me I should be aware of city ordinances that she just cant just throw trash in her MAZDA. I thenasked if I could speak with someone above her. She provided me with MONICA AMARO the asset manager with Lantower residential information. We played phone tag once or twice and NO FOLLOW UP! Look at their prices not worth the headache and disrespect you get from the management you pay! Gates that cover the building never work, gym doors never secured, pool is green, Grill tank never filled, trash over the complex, sprinkler leaks pooling the parking lots, dumpsters that are over flowing, etc. She truly loves threatening the complex with her portal notices and rules she cant even keep up with!PROPERTY & HOME LEFT UNLOCKED AND CRACKED OPEN DURING A FIRE INSPECTION, Remember that!

I recently moved out after staying here for a year. We had a wonderful time here. The apt complex is nice, quite and safe. The quality of the apt is also great especially the carpet, lights and fixtures. The maintenance and the office staff are very courteous and prompt. Move out was also a breeze and was not charged any hefty and unjustified fines. Probably the only complain i have is the pet waste that stinks up the place next building 3 towards the highway. Will definitely rent here again.

If you plan to lease here, RUN. I lived in this apartment for year and a half but I can tell you this place is a complete disappointment.1. Security problem : I am in building 3 and one of the electronic gate that is facing the newly built grocery store is broke FOR ALMOST TWO YEARS. A lot of people raised this issue on the residence portal & google review, but that gate is still always wide open to strangers. If you think this is the gated community, you will be disappointed.2. Consistently stolen packages: this issue is absolutely related to the previous one I guess. Three packages of mine were stolen already and after I lost my third package, I decide not to buy anything online. If you go to the residence portal, there are tons of posts complains about lost packages every single months. Office’s response is always the same: “Not our responsibility”. I guess office could’ve try to FIX THAT BROKEN GATE for us OR consider to place the amazon locker in the property but they chose to blame the residents why not using the amazon locker in chase bank nearby or pick it up in the post office. If you are heavy online shopper, this place is not for you.3. Very irresponsible about noise complaints: This is the issue that made me decide not to renew the lease ever again. My upstairs neighbors are running, throwing things on the floor and screaming every single day/night since the Covid started. I was being patient for first few months but I eventually contacted the office since they were getting worse and worse. However, the office simply gave them 4~5 lease violation notice and that was it. Of course, nothing has been fixed. I certain that I did my part; I sent every recordings of their noises, called the police when they did it in the middle of the night, called the courtesy officer, and called the leasing office VARIOUS TIMES. The office now decided to ignore my emails so I guess they don’t want to deal with resident’s complaints anymore. Mine is noise issue and I don’t know what is going to be yours. BUT I can tell you that the office will not listen to you and they absolutely will not help you with whatever issues you have. You will just have to deal with it yourself forever until your lease is up.This place does not deserve a single star and I can’t wait to move to other places! There are many great apartments near here so please do not choose this place as your home, unless you want to deal with this issues that I’ve listed above.

The favorable comments below have not been my experience. My heating stopped working the week following the ice storm. It took 4 days to replace a part they had in stock. My garage door stopped working, cant open it even manually, still not fixed three weeks later. I keep being told they will call out a garage door tech.

The representative are very involved with how comfortable you are and wanting everything to be absolutely perfect for living. Our rep Cimon Levine was an absolute life saver. If you’re planning on living here please carefully read the contract of your lease! Communication can be iffy depending on who your leasing agent is. If you have a pet i hope they’re a perfect animal cause the $300 pet fee they charge doesn’t protect you from any accidents or damages your dog might cause and they’ll make you pay for the replacement of everything! I’m totally aware that my dog having an accident in the house is my fault but they’ll make you pair for the entire carpet replacement ($630) and your $300 fee won’t go towards any of it since it’s not a “deposit” and it isn’t refundable. The gates also don’t work and don’t actually lock, so you can open pretty much every gate with a good tug and not have to type a code or use your key card at all, meaning anyone can get into any of the buildings with no problem. I had a leak in my roommates ceiling in her room that they never came to fix or check on until 1 month before we moved out. Not a bad area to live in which is nice, but just make sure you pay close attention to everything in your contract when it comes to fees!

RUN AWAY FROM HERE ITS A SCAM!!! Run as fast as you can and don’t look back!!!We have lived here for years and every new management is still unable to:1. Explain why our apartment is constantly filled with mold, 2. Fix our HVAC/AC, the ventilation is wrong somehow and it’s causing humidity, and 3. Get rid of said issue and help us. We place work orders now to have our vents cleaned and filters replaced because I’m pretty sure that they won’t do any maintenance unless we have specifically requested it be done.The biggest jokes about this place are:1. We don’t have any building signs - which means that every single delivery we receive cannot find where I live.... imagine constantly having to direct people who are always confused about which building is which. This still gets overlooked, or we always get the same “we’re getting quotes”. Just slap a big number on all sides of the buildings where people can actually see it.2. “Electronic” gates.... they have literally never worked on building 3, since I moved in... in 2017.... and they always are mysteriously getting “quotes” but never actually following through.2020 -At this point, my renewal is up and I’m seriously hunting for other places to move to because I don’t want to continue to bleach my entire life to kill mold, when my husband has an allergy to bleach. I feel like I was let down, there are a lot of things that this place could be but just plainly isn’t managed well enough to get there anytime soon and it’s worth searching intensely for another location. Happy New Year 2021, time for change.September 2021: [Update]Ohhh goodie, yet again another testament to how much I want to leave this place. I received my bill for my September rent which now just automatically included the early termination fee. They just conveniently placed it all together a month early instead of when I agreed and specifically stated that I would pay it - October. Is their system that defunct and inoperable that they can’t manage to get their billing correct or are they attempting to torture and punish us for wanting to leave as soon as contractually possible????I’m so unhappy that at this point I’m glad we’re canceling our contract early - warning to everyone wanting to come and look at this place - DON’T, turn around and run as fast as you can away from this place! They get new management once a year, do weird maintenance and changes that really don’t help and will randomly start charging you more for services without informing you before hand. RUN! No, seriously RUN!!!

Joy and Mary went over and beyond and helped with everything and answered all my questions. Truly assets to the company. Quick shoutout to our leasing agent, Margarita. I think staff got switched & she’s not there anymore but she was the best part of our experience there.Pros:Great location, nice & quiet neighborhood. Most of the staff is friendly & helpful. Easy, quick access to SRT (SH-121) & IH35. (As of the last 3 months I lived there) great activities for residents w supplies provided! (Cooking video challenges, paint-n-sip, breakfast given out, etc). New shopping center right next door, walking distance.Cons:• Paint marks were left all over the kitchen & bathroom floors when we first moved in. Clearly was not ready for us to move in yet it was allowed. We called maintenance & got it cleaned up soon after though. Still, as a resident I expect the apt to be spotless when we first move in. • Door gates don’t work. I lived there July 2019-July 2020. The locks were broken, according to other residents, months before we moved in & were never checked or worked on, let alone fixed, up to our move-out date which means pretty much anyone can get into the bldgs. • Buildings are not numbered! Very difficult for guests/delivery people to find your apt/bldg as there are no signs whatsoever, outside or inside the buildings. • If ur package is misdelivered (which happens quite often, mail is put in wrong slots i.e. mail for 3323 could be in 3223) good luck getting it. I had 2 lost packages that all stated were delivered but were not at my door or cubby. One specifically said it was delivered to a parcel box but my slot never contained a key for it. I talked to about 4 different staff members and kept being told they have no access to residents slots (so y’all don’t have extra keys made?) & would have to catch the mail carrier. I waited 6 weeks (while checking w them) until I gave up & accepted it as lost money. I even posted on the community page & no other resident received it. It was a pair of booties & a tshirt & sticker that I was never able to locate or get help locating. • Over priced. $1,200 for a one bedroom, 3rd floor apt. Before we left, they attempted to raise our renewal price to $1,500!!! Ridiculous. Might as well get a house. Same monthly price, 2x-3x the size.

I have been living in this apartment for almost 2 months. I am not a picky person or one to complain, but I do expect good quality when I am paying a good quality price.The apartment smells terrible of dog waste, because it is all around all over the grass everywhere, I will literally hold my nose when I am walking up to my apartment from work. ( My Number 1 complaint)The water pressure on the shower feels like mist when the water is on hot.The sprinklers create mud puddles all over the sidewalk, and all in the parking lot that gets all over your shoes and in your car.The hallways are dirty and smell terrible.Both of the treadmills in the gym barley work.The WALLS ARE THIN AS TISSUE PAPER!!!I literally can hear when my neighbors sneeze. Or when their microwave beeps.No issue with office staff other than them not keeping a good records of packages that have been delivered.Move in was simple and easy. My apartment is nice on the inside.

I recently relocated my family to the DFW area and the staff at Residences have truly made us feel at home. I’m a single mom who has to travel for work and I love that my family is treated with so much respect and care & my kids can sit in the clubhouse to do homework. Destiny is so sweet and always has the fridge in the clubhouse stocked with goodies for the kids to have after school. Reggie and Margarita are just amazing and so happy all the time! The management that is over the complex currently to me is doing a great job. they have lines of communications open and they are a lot more honest than management was when I first moved in.

We moved here from California just over a year ago. Our experience with the then staff was good they would make sure to follow up on issues and if there was any reason or delays they would update us to keep us in the loop. Since we’ve transferred units and it’s been far from that the communication across the board with the staff has gone downhill but what can I expect with the frequency changing of the office staff. We have water that comes in during our storms which has awaken mold our microwave window door is broken. I’ve reported all of this and only to be given an excuse on why they haven’t been taken care of. Not A home Away From Home

All I can say is this place is a complete disappointment. They do a good job of making it look nice on the outside. And they give you good first impressions. But that’s all it is. After they get you under contract. It’s all downhill from there. Hallways are full of trash all the time. Maintenance of the place is a disappointment. The courtesy officer that they say is there to help you with disturbances doesn’t answer his phone and doesn’t show up to help. And don’t get me started on how much they are charging for this place. Believe me, save yourself the headache. You can do a lot better than this place for the money. I’ve only been here a year and I’m getting out first chance I get. Dont let the nice first impressions fool you.

Current Resident: The Collection is great! Ive been here almost 2 years & I dont have any major complaints. Maintenance is awesome and prompt. The front office has always been friendly and accommodating. IF I could change anything it would would be the trash situation. Curb side pick up sometimes makes the building look dirty. Id almost prefer to take my own trash to the dumpster and not pay the fee. All in all great place to live.

I recently moved to this property to be closer to work. I LOVE the complex and I have seen no issues with concerns in previous reviews about cleanliness. On several occasions since moving here I have seen the maintenance team picking up trash that others failed to properly dispose of and they were very prompt in making any repairs needed so that my unit was in perfect order before I moved in. The office staff has been exceptional from the time I toured the property until I leased. My leasing agent Jonnie is very professional and goes above and beyond to make sure he stays in contact with you during the entire leasing process. Also this complex is very quiet and is very close to nice shopping and restaurants and well as a lot of new development nearby that makes it great for busy professionals.

I moved in almost a year ago and I love it .. The staff have been friendly and prompt with any request I have made. I havent ANY problems with the complex and I find it rather quite community .. With that being said I highly recommend this complex and Im happy to call it home. Without a doubt I will be resigning my lease and staying here : )

I have lived here for the past 2 years going on 3 now. Lauren, Devra, and Jonnie have made my stay easy. They are very professional and are available to assist with any issues. The grounds are well kept and the complex is quiet. I would definitely recommend this place.

I wanted to take the time out to thank Margarita in the rental office. She went above and beyond during our application process. We went yesterday and was approved on the spot. She took her time and showed us plenty of floor plans so we could make a informed decision. We absolutely loved the Highland floor plan so we will move in Dec. Only thing I wish they had was a basketball court for my son and possibly the other kids in the complex. Most kids stay in the house and play games and on their phones but when they have something to do it makes it more productive and keeps kids out of trouble. Either way we love our soon to be home and cant wait to move in. It will be hard to move from my current home as I have been there for 7 years and have my own garage and across from Walmart. I became so spoiled but as Margarita said, change can be a good thing! Thank you again Lauren & Margarita! You guys were great with your customer service. I will update in 6 months...

My husband and I have lived here since December 2011, a little after the complex first opened, and have had the pleasure of calling it home since. Weve enjoyed the gym facility, location (close proximity to CVS, Bank of America, as well as other businesses within walking distance), friendly staff/maintenance team and the beautifully functional Flats floor plan. Weve very much appreciated the smart design of our unit with the amazing island working double as a work space for cooking/baking creations as well as our main dining table area. This unit has been great during all times of the year and we will be sad to leave it behind when we relocate this spring. Its been a great run here and weve enjoyed all the luxuries The Collection has had to offer. Thanks!

I was just approved for an apartment at The Collection. I normally DO NOT post experiences on websites, but because of Tamara, I couldnt resist. My first encounter with Tamara was very friendly. She was attentive to all our concerns and questions and took great time to give us every detail about the complex and answers to our many, many questions. During our search for a new place to call home, we encountered many personalities at different complexes. The overall experience we received here encouraged my husband and I to complete the application process. We look forward to calling The Residences at the Collection our new home soon. T. Martin

I have lived in many apartments but Living in this place was a nightmare. Before we moved in, moving date was changed multiple times. You hear lies from Lisa and Derek.The apartments are made very cheap. We were living in a town house and we were hearing our neighbors even though they did not talk laudly. You also hear their door and garage doorsIf your neighbors cough, you will definitely hear.The office does is only good job with maintenance.For Management and promise, stay away from here.Inside of the apartments look modern but dont let this to make your decision.Just look at the light switches where they are. on the wall.Series noise issue and right before we moved out there were multiple break ins.There are many more. For good side I dont see anything to say other than the location.

Near Lewisville dump so youll often get that foul smell. Infrastructure concept similar to most modern apartments but poorly maintained. Lots of pet poo, pee and puke in the hallways. New management seems to have the reigns on stuff, hoping for the best.

I lived there for 6 months. Structural problems, doors did not close right, ankle deep small pond that you have to go through to get to the parking lot. The parking lot that was always full every night and if you wanted a designated parking space they would charge you $50+ a month. My neighbors were not friendly and I could hear yelling every other night.When I moved out, I made sure that I settled ALL of my bills with them. Even sat down in the office to confirm. After I got the Yes everything looks good talk. I felt confident. A month later, without any notice, I am getting calls from a debt collection agency for unpaid bills. HA! They are sure true to their name!

6th Month Update:Turns out this place really isnt very great. Its actually pretty dumpy. The pool has been closed most of the summer. Apparently the filter is broken and it takes two months to fix. The treadmills in the fitness center are broken and stops randomly while you are running. There is dog waste everywhere. I would blame lazy pet owners for that, but the dog bag stations are empty a lot of the time so theres nothing to clean it up with anyway. We have some sort of black residue in our vents and on the wall in the shower. Im not the type of person that is above living in a mediocre apartment, but it isnt worth the price you pay to live here.I have only lived here for about a month now and overall I would say it is a very great place to live. It is a very quiet community and the apartments are in really good condition. It obviously isnt perfect as no apartment complex really is, the hallways outside of the apartment can be a little dirty and the valet trash you pay for often times doesnt pick up your trash on the indicated days. But all in all I dont have any real concerns about it. I would recommend it to my friends or family.

Unethical office staff lost my money order and claimed it was bad and shredded it. No one does this, they could have called me. I just happened to stop by and ask why it didnt post to my account. I lost about $1000 and am still trying to get money gram to refund me the which takes over 30 days. They had 3 different management teams work there during my 12 month lease.... suspiciousthe hallways smell like trash and rent changes every month

Its the first apartment complex Ive ever lived in and I am so glad I made that phone call. After weeks and weeks of searching for an apt I stumbled upon this place and first thought I am sure prices are high or no way I can afford it. I called and got voice mail but then I get a call right back and the agent got me into an apt a couple days later. I love this place.

My review is mixed with this apartment complex. Overall the apartment is good and walls are not thin as paper. When management does their job correctly, things are good. Unfortunately, the office staff are not well trained with office skills. It can take them 20 minutes to find your account or write a maintenance ticket!!Crime is not an issue and most of the neighbors seem sane, though very standoffish.I only hope they would tow cars that were broken down and occupying good parking spots.

I would not advise anyone to move here. The location is decent but the rent is inconsistent. The staff is never on the same page. Our rent has changed three times within a 12 month lease. The previous staff members were basically stealing money and now it seems like the new management is doing all they can to come up with charges (out of nowhere) to make up for the loss. If you go into the office with questions about an unknown charge on your account, they will not be able to explain where it came from and why you were charged. So with that being said, if you want to be unsure about the cost of your rent every month then this is the perfect place.
