We had another brand of system that completely failed and the other company quoted to replace it was a lot higher for a similar system as to what Alex quoted. Alex was also able to get in and get it installed in a timely fashion, which was good since we are starting the summer season.

Great company. The appointment set up was easy. I received a text reminder the day before and a call when they were on the way. They came in the time frame that was stated. I replaced my ac/heating unit. AJ was great. He gave me several quotes via email and answered all my questions. He is such a great guy. I really feel he was trying to serve my best interest and give us what we need, and not trying to upsell. They did a great job. Couldnt be happier.

Never used their services, but i was driving by one of their vehicles on the road and noticed that one of their drivers (a bearded man) driving dangerously and nearly driving another driver off the road. When the other driver got ahead of the individual, the bearded man started giving the bird and flashed his high beams to the driver ahead of him.If this is how he treats other drivers, I wouldn’t want to hire this group for work.

Fair, honest, dependable. Replaced a capacitor, and had the unit working quickly. Also recommended a new unit within the next couple years, but didnt push it.

They were able to come out and fix our AC quickly and did not try to up sell us anything or tell us anything more than what was wrong. Will definitely use them for any air or heating needs that arise. Professional, quick and very nice.

I called Bear Heating & Air when I noticed the furnace in my recently purchased home acting erratically. The Technician, AJ, arrived on time and was very knowledgeable on the equipment already installed in the home, taking the time to explain in detail the troubleshooting he went through to solve the problem. In the end I decided to ask about replacing the unit since the repair would be so costly and the unit was old. He worked with me on an honest, fair price and unit for the size of my home, but I never felt pressured to buy. I did eventually opt to replace the unit, he accommodated a weekend morning installation, which was also handled professionally and timely. I had a warm home within a few hours! Im happy to recommend Bear Heating & Air to family and friends.

I have been using Bear Heating and Conditioning for over ten years. I have always had excellent service. It did not matter what I had done. I have used all his services including maintenance, repair, and new system installation. I will always use AJ for all my A/C needs.

I highly recommend Bear Heating & Air. Our system went down on a Sunday while we were out of town. We immediately got a call back from AJ and scheduled service. He came out and quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. We also discussed replacing our 22 year old unit. AJ was low pressure and let me know realistic best and worst case scenarios. We will definitely be using him in the future.Edit 3/15/21: Its been about two years since our first time using Bear. As expected, our old system died on us. We talked to AJ on Friday and our new system was completely installed on Monday. Just as before, AJ was professional and very helpful with the process. Just wanted to give a shout out to Bear Heat and Air for coming by and replacing my whole HVAC unit today. Got several estimates and Bear Heat & Air had the best price point + fast and professional servicen once I made my decision on which company to go with. 👍

I had these guys come out to give me an estimate on a new system as well as one other company. The other company quoted me prices for a new system from $10,000 (using the old furnace) up to $20,000 for a single HVAC unit for my 1850 sq feet home. I had scheduled a third company but cancelled after Bear Heating & Air Conditioning came out.AJ Bear came out and spoke with my wife and stated that our system still looked good and could probably go another 3 to 5 years. But since our system was needing to be recharged with coolant every year that the Coil in the attack probably needed to be replaced. They also recommended adding another return to our master bedroom. In addition to that the copper lines running the coolant were undersized and needed to be replaced. He said we could replace the condenser but it wasnt necessary at this time.After we agreed on the work to be done, and scheduled it for the following week, AJ came back by and recharged my system with coolant and noticed the pressures were off. He said that the condenser was never kicking in to stage 2 due to a wiring issue and rewired the system so it would work in stage 2. It had probably never been wired correctly or ever used stage 2 in the ten years we had the system. He did all this at no charge. Just that change alone made a huge difference and my home was cooler than it ever had been.The install of the new coil went great and they got all the work done in one day. A couple of other things they replaced were an old Trane Clean Effects system, which I disliked, with a four inch Honeywell filter that only needs to be changed every six months. And they put in a new thermostat that has geofencing with wifi.I can heartily recommend this company if you are looking to get a new system or fix your current one. AJ is a fantastic technician and didnt pressure us at all as far as a sales pitch.Hire these guys. You wont regret it.
