The young man who helped my father and I at Enterprise in Carlsbad, definitely had everything under control. I was very happy at how efficient he was in getting us a car and having all the documents signed on a portable tablet. Im dying very happy with the rental car.

I am new to carlsbad involved in accident my car at the shop .insurance made the arangement to get a rental car . the team were pleasent. I got picked up from the shop and told the Armada is getting washed. When they brought the car they just spray water and drove off. That is fine but interior was nasty there is a sweat smell.the seats we dirty .enterprise we clean and disinfect the cars for our customers Realy this is a joke .I advise the customer service agent I need a suv with 3rd row seat we are seven adults drove from Virginia to Carlsbad . The agent told me this what the insurance company will pay if you need premium suv there is additional cost.When I called my adjuster they said you have a limit of 900 usd you can use any kind of car you want. I called another location to verifyThe agent told me that is incorrect.Really disappointed the way they handled there business. THIS NOT HOW YOU RUN A BUSSINES

My Car was hit so I had to have auto body repairs. I rented from Enterprise Carlsbad. During my 2 weeks with Enterprise my experience was 100% professional and courteous, from checking in, During and returning my Vehicle. Carlsbad Office was Excellent.

Stopped in after dropping my car off at kia for service. They offered my dog some water.. she was thirsty... they matched a lower rate and i got out of there in a corolla within minutes of arriving. To be able to just return it to kia service the next morning and pick up my car and go instead of having to go to their office then walk down the block made the experience 10 times better. Definitely recommend 👌 👍 👏 😀

STAY AWAY! INCOMPETENT!! All they care is about charging you.I thought they were good until they over charged me for a vehicle I was only able to use 50% of the time. Literally Enterprise robs people they didn’t even talk to me about charging MY ACCOUNT. Enterprise was unable to get us help while driving through AZ. Enterprise Road side assistance sent help to the wrong state! The next tire repair was 70 miles out and the spare ONLY GOES 50 MILES on a Chrysler minivan. And we’re told we have to find our way to this repair shop that couldn’t even take us in, mind you, it’s was 4:30 AM when we called. 4 hrs later we’re still waiting for roadside assistance. All cars are booked out that day in the nearest cities which were 3-5 hrs away like can they GET ANYTHING RIGHT. Unsat!

I always have great experiences at Enterprise but this specific location, is hands down the best.Their cars are very clean and always newer models. The check in and check out process is so Fast... Its boom boom boom DONE. Now these positives paired with friendly employees? Theyve hit the trifecta.I stopped renting from Budget and will only rent from this place. In fact, I have a rental Im picking up this Friday.For fast, easy, affordable rentals... You have to come here!

We rent here nearly every month, whenever we leave San Diego we put the miles on their cars. Always nice, new cars available.

The people seem nice but they are VERY slow. Customer service is lacking big time. This is not a one time experience for me but had to post this since it hasnt improved since the last time I was here. If you are in a hurry to pick up your rental you may be frustrated in the way they operate this location. Its definitely not what you experience at a major airport.

Rented car, told to go find it, he didnt know color when I asked! Horrible customer service. I had to walk around whole lot, looking for car. He didnt show the features, do a walk around to check cars conditions, nothing. I worked for Dollar rent a car 35 years ago. He doesnt belong here.

All one star reviews are accurate. I’ve rented from Enterprise all over the country and this location is the worst. Lack of communication between staff. Passing the buck. Hurried customer service. Cars in poor condition. And to top it off minor damage found upon return and was told “small. No prob. We’ve got a great shop and they’ll pop that back for a couple hundred bucks. Don’t worry about it”. Well I am now $2k into the don’t worry about it. Such bs. Go elsewhere.

Other than the hour wait (thou partially on me because I show up hella early) very quick simple easy process and they worked with me when I needed! Very nice polite people if I ever come back to California and need a rental Ill be going to them.

Pleased in past but definitely not now! VERY POOR customer service! Rented from the Carlsbad (CA) Auto Center location. Confirmed they had the vehicle in stock 1.5 hours before renting. Re-confirmed availability a second time to ensure no problem. You will have your choice. Did not have any in stock when I arrived. Come back in an hour. Still none. Go to Encinitas and they have one ready to go. Nope! Waited there for ~ 1 more hour to clean vehicle. Then, vehicle was 1500 miles past oil change and oil warning light came on continuously. Returned early with complaint. Even responded to managers text (Goal 100% satisfaction - please let me know about any issues). Several days later and zero response. So, since they sent an email asking me to post my experience, here it is.Revised from 1 to 3 stars. Spoke to the District Manager for this area and she was very courteous and understanding. She promised to address the issues. It does not change my disappointment for what occurred but does demonstrate concern.

I usually have a great experience at Enterprise, but the one off of 1060 Auto Center in Carlsbad, gave me the worse experience. My rental wasnt ready until an hour after my reservation was scheduled. The sedan I reserved was not even an option when I went to go get it. I had to upgrade to another sedan and pay an extra $20 a day. I do not recommend this Enterprise as they cannot provide what is reserved. The customer service when picking up the vehicle was not as great either.

Lowest I can go is a 1 star but if I could I’d go lower! Customer service here is just flat out bad. Unhelpful, uncooperative, and the worst of people for coming up with solutions . They talk to you here with so much arrogance you’d be better off walking to wherever you need to go than trying to get a rental here .

I needed a car fast and they got me one immediately. Returning the car took maybe 3 minutes and they were super nice.

I like the service and the vehicle options I get from Enterprise in Carlsbad Car Country and Solana Beach. The staff seems to care. I once rented a Maserati which apparently didnt get cleaned before I picked it up. I complained and they gave me the car for free. Thats what I expect from a business that wants me back and they make me feel valued. Big thanks to the crew at the Carlsbad and Solana Beach locations!

I don’t know when it happened, but Enterprise in Carlsbad, CA became a great company. The same could be said of Enterprise in downtown Los Angeles.I was picked up at Bob Baker Subaru by a lovely, gracious woman who delivered me to more lovely and gracious women. A professional gentleman checked out the car to me.When I returned the car, I was returned to Bob Baker Subaru in less than 15 minutes by a lovely and gracious woman.Excellent service in and out.

Rented a mini-van for Thanksgiving road trip. I loved the ease of renting it. I was even picked up at my home so I didn’t have to worry about getting a ride to Enterprise. The staff was helpful and kind. I plan to go use this site in the future.

The person helping me was very deceiving about up selling insurance. All she focus was if you get in an accident you will not be charge anything for repairs and only cost a small amount. She purposely did not disclose that this amount was charged each day which added another 150.00 onto my final bill. I will never rent a car from Enterprise again!

Awesome service every time. Not to mention awesome rental vehicles! My current rental is a brand new Tacoma with 25 miles on it.

I went here to get a rental car while my car was being fixed.The gentleman who checked me in asked me what car I drive. I said a Tahoe. He then gave me a mini van and said I owe the difference. I didn’t want to pay the difference so he brought his manager (Ashley). She said I asked to have a bigger car...which I didn’t.She said they would take care of it with the insurance because they didn’t want to redo the paperwork.When I returned the car they tried to charge me $161 for the difference again. Ashley then came out and was extremely defensive and said “your going to have a hard time renting a car again”.She said she wasn’t going to charge me but I just got a charge 3 weeks later.Ashley needs to get some training on how to deal with customers.

I planned to rent car, but on short notice there would be some snow on our trip. I asked about upgrading to an 4wd SUV. The staff was very friendly and efficient in getting me a nice SUV and at a very fair price. They have earned by loyalty over the years, and continue to do the same each rental.

Overall ok costumer service; it could be improved. I’ve rented cars at other locations before and I got to be helped by friendlier staff. Took about 45 minutes to pick up the rental on a Wednesday afternoon.

I like this local location in Carlsbad due to it being more personal. My vehicle type (two actually, I had a choice) were available and delivered quickly. Check in was also quick a few days later. They also were able to provide transportation to and from home in a timely fashion. They get busy at times so be patient, it is a small location, but they do a great job. The vehicle (minivan) worked well for what we needed it for (6 adults plus luggage). Many thanks.

The car was was filthy even after being told it was detailed, someone left their sanitizer bottle in he console. I was told this was their only car left. After one day the tail light went out and I asked for a replacement car, they said sorry we don’t have any and told me don’t worry if you get pulled over the cops won’t give you a ticket! I called their corporate number and was told that if a car has something mechanically wrong (such as notification lights, dash warning lights) that the car must be returned for service immediately and the car must be replaced-if the location does not have cars you should be guided to a location that does! Horrible customer service & trashy cars! Avoid this location!

90% of the time I have great experiences with Enterprise which is the main reason why I use them as my #1 choice for renting cars. My challenge with this visit is that I didnt feel the recognition of being a loyal customer.I reserved a full size car and requested to see if they had any minivans available to fit my family more comfortably in...it required an increased daily spend...and although I didnt want to pay the extra money...I decided it would be best for the comfort of my family. I rarely ask for anything but it wouldve been nice if they had offered it as a free upgrade knowing that I rent often with enterprise and that I have been loyal through the last few years.My suggestion is to spend a little bit more time seeing if you can enhance the experience a bit more. If you have a way to review the customer history or see how often they rent ask what you can do to make it a great rental before they step into the car. Again 90% of the time I dont have a problem and service is great. It was just this time that I left feeling like Enterprise didnt appreciate my loyalty to them....I know I get points for rentals and upgrades in the mail...but what keeps me loyal is the team remembering me, welcoming me back (no matter what rental site I use) and doing what they can to get me started in my rental 100% satisfied. I rarely use my points or upgrades sent to me in the mail.I do have to say that they were flexible and supported me upon the return of the rental by reducing some of the cost for a late return...which I was very appreciative of.The consistency is very important to me and as of late, I havent felt like this particular location has been consistent in my visits where I can confidently give them 5 stars. 4...I believe is consistent.

Poor car choices. Every decent one was “reserved”. Force you to take what they want not what you want.

The staff here are always very friendly and professional. Theyre super helpful and do a great job at getting you into the vehicle you want. I wouldve given them 5 stars, but had an issue when the side mirror of the vehicle popped right off when I was adjusting it! I hadnt even left the parking lot and I went right in to let them know. They tried to pop it back on, couldnt and just did a weird tape job on it. No problem really, but then they tried to bill me for it and it has been a huge hassle trying to get it squared away. I guess at that point I have felt unheard. Makes me curious if its always a hassle with them when things dont go as planned.

Flew into Palomar, Carlsbad Jet Center, and was pleased the rental car was sitting out next to the plane and ready to go. The car was clean and fueled. Definitely cheaper than the competitors at most private airports.

I use Enterprise often and am always satisfied. With Covid restrictions the service was as good as it could possibly be. Courteous and quick. They are great about getting you on your way.

I had bad experience at pickup of car. Slow service and had to ask twice to expedite delivery of car. Then they wanted to rent me a dirty car that was not prepped in advance of rental. Had them wash it which took more time. Then noticed numerous scratches and dents as well as no floor mats. Finally got the car and put my cell phone in the cup holder which I fortunately glanced down and then noticed it had standing water in it. No idea how this happened from washing a car. Very fortunate that my phone case was thick enough to prevent water from entering my charging input area on phone. The car also smelled like previous renter smoked when the vents were blowing cabin air. Also had interior window residue marks on rear side window. I spent time cleaning the residue off and getting water spots off side mirrors. This car should be out of service until they fix body damage. Great shuttle service and nice staff but big issues upon delivery of car. They Also pushed for roadside daily coverage when I asked if they handle any mechanical issues with car in worst case scenario. I’ve rented here before and had no issues. Glad the car ran better than it looked.

Extremely terrible experience here. The manager is irresponsible, rude and doesn’t know how to train her staff. The entire team was unprofessional and not knowledgeable at all. Do not ever give this place your business, they are VERY rude.

My experience in renting a car from Enterprise in Carlsbad was outstanding! I usually rent at the airport, but in this case my wife and I just needed an extra car with four doors during our stay in Carlsbad, CA. I called and made a reservation and when I showed up the car was waiting for me. The Dodge Challenger was an excellent choice. New with only 15,000 miles, lots of room and well equipped. The rental agent was a tall polite young man and professionally dressed. He went through the entire vehicle with us to make sure everything worked properly. I also liked the fact that my wife could be added on as an extra driver at no additional charge. This has not been true at Hertz, or Budget in the past. Returning the car was even easier. No waiting except for my wife to come and pick me up, and Enterprise even offered to give me a ride home. Job Well done!

Great experience, quick and easy. Affordable too! Only question I would ask is: is it MANDATORY to get the basic insurance on the car? I did not think it was MANDATORY, but when checking out the car, before I left, the sales person explained that I did not have an option even though it was a one day trip and I was confident I would have been fine. Just a thought.

The Carlsbad Ca. Enterprise team was helpful, professional and accommodating.Well done team Carlsbad.I cant say the same for our drop off point, which was San Pedro Ca.After experiencing a smooth, easy and perfect rental pickup, we were intimidated, rebuked and quite frankly concerned for our safety due to the employees at the San Pedro drop off Enterprise location.I actually called Enterprise corporate for help and guidance. Of course customer service helped with the billing issue.However as per the corporate service rep I was assured that the San Pedro area manager would reach out to me personally. He never did.That clearly shows that the store is led by a supervisors example. Nothing more needs to be said, except train your people in the Carlsbad district.

Enterprise contacted me following a claim my wife made for an auto accident. The car we received was dirty and out of gas and windshield washer fluid. Costs were paid by Allstate. The car itself was fine once I cleaned it and filled washer fluid. Upon return, a major hassle between Enterprise and Allstate. Its like they had never done this before and as a result I got a big charge on my card days after it was returned. With much effort and hassle they worked it out but it was a GRAND PAIN. They also put me on hold for so long I had to call back twice and always got a different person who was pleasant but couldnt help. Manager went home early of course and he is the only person who could help. Wonderful!Got nice calls after the fact but it Enterprise couldnt make up for the hassle they caused me.

I am not happy with Enterprise. The car was fine but my flight was later than I initially expected, 5:40 pm vs 3:40 pm, so I called Enterprise to ask how much it would be to return the car a couple hours later than expected. I explained my situation, they looked up the current rental and told me I was OK to return it up until 5:00 pm without a charge. I was actually ready to pay for another full day because it would have been cheaper than to pay the hourly rate. I returned the car around 4:30 and went on my way. When I received the email with the bill I had been charged the hourly rate for 2 additional hours. I will keep this in mind the next time I need a rental car...Hertz should have been my choice to begin with...live and learn.

We rented twice in Carlsbad and both times we received excellent service. Both cars were top class and did not have any problems. I would rent from this company anytime in the future.

Good location in Carlsbad - easy to get to from the 5. Very nice group of people, willing to help and fix problems as needed. Had an issue with a car and they swapped me out easily. Can get a little busy so be prepared to wait a while but once they start they get you in/out fast.

We were on a short vacation in which we rented from Enterprise in Carlsbad, CA. The staff were very pleasant to work with and the car was nice. The return was quick and easy. Very pleased. Will definitely return when were out to CA again. We have family there so we will be back.

I dont usually rent from this location. Ive never had a problem renting through Enterprise until I went out o this location. The woman at the front wasnt very nice and they werent very accommodating. Their prices are way too high as well. Ive found other car rental places after having this bad experience with this location that will offer you the same car for a lot less. Why should I waste my time and money at this place when I could get better customer service and better deals somewhere else...

This rental car facility has the best service I have ever had in my life. Maybe it was just Leah, the gal who helped me, but she went above and beyond the call of duty. She guided me out to the cars and gave a choice of vehicles, even though it was a car paid for by the insurance company of the gal who drove into my vehicle. Then we had a walk-around.Another outstanding feature is that they do not try to rip you off charging $4/gallon for gas if you bring the vehicle back short. They will filler up for you at a rate lower than the prevailing rate in the area. I highly recommend this rental car facility.

I hope this if for my current rental. The people were/are great. The person before me had animal(s) in the car and there was fur still in the car mostly on the floor mat in the back behind the drivers seat was pretty bad. I know its very hard to vacuum but wearing a suit I had fur on me which was a concern.My last rental was perfect.

The Enterprise located on Auto Center Dr. is by far the best, most courteous, customer oriented auto rental company I have EVER rented from.Top it off with being $100.00 cheaper per week than Avis just a few miles away! They are awesome in every category !

Great Service and very friendly! They offer to pick up and drop you to nearby locations which makes it very convenient. The car was a little dusty though as they did not clean it before giving it to me.

Excellent experience. The gentleman who picked me up was a retired banker and he was fantastic. There was a problem with the assigned car at the branch and they quickly assigned another vehicle that might have been better than the original. This branch is a credit to the Enterprise brand.

I was very happy with the service provided by the Carlsbad office. Everyone is very nice. I have always been happy with this location. I also want to note that I believe the previous renters of the car I had were smoking in it and it gave the car an uncomfortable odor. I would like to recommend they add an after hours drop off.

I love Enterprise! Whenever I need to rent a car locally, they are my # 1 resource. They have a friendly, knowledgeable staff that work hard and fast to get you what you need and on the road. The cars are newer models and they usually have a decent selection to choose from. I always recommend renting from Enterprise and, the Carlsbad location is my favorite so far!

Excellent. Very courteous, efficient and enthusiastic folks at this particular enterprise. They will pickup/drop off anywhere in Carlsbad. In addition, they will fill your car (at the time) for $2.50 / gallon (going market rate). This is not a prepaid tank, etc. They will just fill it for you and charge you the amount without fees, etc. This was really, really great and quite the departure from typical rental places!

Generally Ive received excellent service at this location. However when I showed up when they opened at 7:30am mid-week, with my reservation for a full sized sedan made two months in advance, they had no sedans in stock and I had to wait nearly an hour to get a large SUV (which I did not reserve or want) washed and ready to rent. This delay caused me to be very rushed taking my wife to LAX airport to catch her international flight. Fortunately traffic was not unusually congested, otherwise she would have missed her flight!Staff at the Enterprise counter was apologetic, saying they had been unusually busy, but I was told later by another employee that this was happening frequently for past several weeks as their stock of available vehicles was low (mainly SUVs and pick-ups in stock I was told) and they were waiting for more to come in.

Working with Melissa and her group has been an excellent experience. They go out of there way to make sure that you have the vehicle that you have requested. I would highly recommend the Carlsbad location.

The people were courteous and helpful but the cars ...First. Car was perfect most of the features my car has but it was filthy food on steering wheel dusty dashSwitched car to a stripped down car that was clean. When I got home I noticed the windshield was dinged. So I hurried back in as I did not see it noted on the preliminary damage report and I figured I was going to be wrongly charged for the damage.They told me that the chips were already filled and we’re nothing to worry about.They gave me another car. It is nice bit of a gas guzzler a few years old not very modern but reliable.All in all bunch of honest mistakes but not the best experience

Our rental was just over a month and we were given a great price. The whole experience was truly a 5 star experience! Very courtious and helpful people when we picked up the car. They gave us a choice of several nice cars. The Nissan Altima we chose was very nice and served us well. Our plans changed at the end of our trip and we needed to extend our rental a couple of days longer and had to return the car to the airport instead of Carlsbad. The agents worked with us on this and made it happen. Return at the airport was quick, easy and there were no issues. Great experience! Thank you!

I rent close to 30 times a year and have recently explored other options, due to the fact when I need the car for 4 days ( beginning at the end of business day of Wednesday) and you are closed on sundays (When I would like to return it ) I then get thrown into a weekly rate. I pick up the car at 6 pm on Wednesday and would love to return it sunday instead it sits in my driveway Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday...Pretty sad.Aside from this I love Enterprise and would give 5 stars

Pretty great rates through Costco!! Our deposit was discounted too.

Great prices however they keep their cars too long. Also have had registration issues where plate tags are not current, happening three times. This has resulted in parking tickets twice in las Vegas. They did pay the curtains but if the car would have been towed that would have been an issue.

I recently had to rent a car due to mine having to go into the shop and although I have a membership with another rental company, I went with this Enterprise location due to its proximity to the auto shop. Everything went great (I actually turned the car in earlier than my planned reservation due to my car being finished sooner) and Lindsey(sp?), as well as everyone else whom I dealt with, was very nice while helping me. I will definitely go back to this Enterprise when and if I have to revisit that nearby auto shop!

If there was an option for rating below 0 stars they would fit in that category we had a insurance repair and was picked up from dealership arrived at the enterprise location and was told 20 min was as long as we needed to wait ended up being over an hour no reps from rental agency checked on us no seating outside and what should of been a quick turnaround for a vehicle ended up being ridiculously long ( note they were aware of claim 2 weeks prior) NEVER GO HERE unless you want to get agitated

Ridiculous! That is all I have to say about this location... My vehicle was in the shop for insurance related repairs for over three weeks, during that time Enterprise had called several times asking for payment on the vehicle. I had given them the number to my insurance company and told them that they were covering the charges, and I gave them the claim number... The day I drop the vehicle off after the repairs were complete I was asked to pay the bill, same situation as before. When I called my adjuster, he was furious because this had all been cleared up the day prior. He asked me to get the manager and after the two had a phone conversation, the situation was cleared up, or so I thought. Over two months later I get a charge on my account for $650.00. Normally I would think, Oh, no big deal just a simple miss communicaiton, but not in this case, before I left the location I had verbally verified that we were completely covered and there was no need for additional attention on this issue. I called and they told me this was because they did not have the claim number, the number that was posted all over their documentation, they claim the charges are final and cannot be reversed! Are you kidding me!!!!!! I will be working to not only have the charges reversed, but to make sure everyone knows about this location and how they choose to conduct business.DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION!!!!!
