People would complain about hearing my kids (which they shouldnt because it was their home) but i wouldnt blame them because I was able to hear the simple sound of a phone ringing they did probably heard my kids playing and screaming and being kids, anyway... this was not our fault but the people who built this apartments, they were threatening us that they will kick us out if the noise didnt stop, which obviously having kids makes it hard to not have noise... at the end we are leaving since in the lease says that you can terminate the lease if they dont fix a maintenance request after 7 days...

Great place to live in Carlsbad. There are very few places that have the modern day apartment look in this town. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The maintenance workers are always doing their best with the upkeeping of the property. I would have given 5 stars, but some small new construction kinks need to be worked out, but this lands more on the builders than the property owners.

I think most apartments are designed to try and keep deposits and fine you every chance they can fabricate from thin air but this place is shameless in the way they do it. I was extremely diligent when doing my initial walkthrough and even attached extra sheets listing even the tiniest of details. When I moved out the apartment was in better shape than when I moved in due to having to fix little things myself but somehow they claimed damages and kept my deposit. They can and will do this to everyone. Go anywhere else... literally anywhere. Crooks...

They are not to be trusted no paper work at final walk through and then they kept the deposit for cleaning after we where told everything was fine. and the auto draft when cancelled does not some times so be ready for more money taken out than expected.

Waited weeks before I finally fixed the drain in my bathtub myself. Parking is a joke, over crowded. Good luck parking next to your own building.

If the option for zero stars was a choice, I would chose it. We moved in 4 months ago, that have no book keeping or record keeping skills what so ever. They seem to always look for a way to fine a tenant in hopes of creating more revenue. They are not nice apartments, they appear decent until you move in. The customer/resident service here is beyond a disgrace. The manager is the most disrespectful person I have ever been forced to meet in my entire life. LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! RUN, DO NOT RENT HERE.

If I could give them negative stars I would!! I paid my rent on time, actually I paid it in advance on the website. I had a 1,145.70 credit when I moved out. I cleaned the apartment before I left in order to get my deposit back. I received a final account statement in the mail today after two weeks of waiting for my reimbursement. I am being charged $4,500.00 to shampoo the bedroom carpet! ONE ROOM! The only room that had carpet!! Lease termination fee $1,139.00 I hadnt resigned a lease after my six months were up. Therefore I was paying an extra $100.00 for rent a month, I HAD NO LEASE TO TERMINATE! Reletting fee $916.58! Cleaning $50.00!! Now they are saying I OWE THEM $4,604.97!!!! Theres so much more I want to say about my experience there but this makes everything else seem so small in comparison! I dont care how you look at this, THIS IS WRONG!!

Apartments are full of out of towners that are loud and obnoxious. Hopefully it gets cleaned up and turned backbinto the respectable quit community it was before. Clean up the trash management.

Our lease went out and we decided to move out due to the amount of kids roaming around without their parents, throwing rocks, jumping on ATVs (oilfield workers) etc and also car thefts. We moved out when our lease was up. We turned our keys in on the 28th and they claimed that we stayed there for a few more weeks and took it out from our deposit. After that we didnt get our full deposit back. Less than half.We called the office 20+ times and went there in person numerous times. The property manager was always out of office or would say she would call back but never did. Their corporate office in Midland/Odessa had the exact same poor customer service. They kept saying they would call back. We were just getting the run-around and never got an answer. We also closed our Windstream account and were told to turn the equipment into the office. We did that and now Windstream said they never got it and Avalon says they dont have it there. Such a shady place. Even though Copperstone is older, we are 100% happier here.

When we first moved to Carlsbad we found these places, they want a good chunk of money down and we did not qualify on our own so we had my fiancés mom Co sign for us who was all the way back in Minnesota. We were dealing with a lady named heather I believed who always called my fiancé honey in a real disrespectful tone. She said she would allow me and my fiancé to rent the apartment if her mother agreed to be on the lease alone, both my fiancé and her mother made enough money but then they said they need to make double the rent in one year which was like $70,000 a year which was nuts. We dealt with the. For a week or more and gave them $400 to hold the apartment and after all the headaches they put us through saying yes the apartment is your just one more thing over and over again and after we did absolutely everything they asked us to do they said we did not get the place....when we went back to get our $400 the main lady Heather had left and they told us they had no property manager so they couldnt do anything for us. We have called several times a week for months now about our $400 and everyone we talked to there said they sent out the money and we should get it soon and at one point in time they said they had never even heard of us coming in nor did they have our names in the book. They blatantly lied to our faces for months and months. My fiancé ended up calling one day and talked to somebody new there and in a matter of an hour she had found our names in the book and was able to look up where our $400 was. She said that it had never been sent out or processed and the previous people we talked to told us the complete opposite. She said it had been sent to corporate in Texas and should be there in a week or 2, well that was just before Thanksgiving and we are still waiting for the money. The new lady we talked to seemed very helpful and nice and also informed us that this has happened to quit a few other people as well which is not shocking.
