BEWARE!!! If you are looking for a dentist with a friendly office staff with good customer service skills DO NOT GO TO DENTAL WORKS IN CANTON. I scheduled an appointment weeks in advance and was contacted the day of my appointment about coming at an earlier time because they had a couple of cancellations. I informed them that I was already at work and had planned my work day around my dentist appointment. But, being the understanding person I am, I told them let me check and I would give them a call right back. Before I could try to adjust my work schedule, I received a second phone call informing me that the doctor had an emergency and needed to cancel my appointment. While I was not happy that my appointment was being canceled, to make things worse the person on the phone was very RUDE and ended the call before I could finish my statement. I really want this business to remember that customer service is important! When delivering news that your customer may not want to hear... you should know its not what you say its how you say it. Be more caring when speaking with your customer because without customers there is no need for you. I will find another dentist as I will NOT PATRONIZE a business who has no regard for its customers.

BUYER BEWARE.. Giving 1star because no stars is not an option.. Paid for braces, in full, for my child in April.. Service still has yet to be completed..The office canceled 2 times, the last time, the appointment was canceled the day of service.. We were told they would reschedule but that was months ago.. My child did get the first part of her treatment completed, we have been getting the run around to get the rest of the treatment rendered.. Strange to me because there was no run around on our part when the payment of this treatment plan was due.. As stated, it was paid for in full.. The receptionist is understanding of our frustration, shes most pleasant, but pleasantry does me no justice when all we want is for my daughter to receive the rest of her treatment plan that we agreed on with this office.. I have requested a refund of payment for the services that were not provided by this office.. I was told that may take a few months, odd to me, it didnt take a few months for us to pay but I at least started the process of a refund.. My biggest fear is that Ill need to seek legal action against this office to get my money back.. My insurance company is also aware of my ongoing battle with this office.. I will not recommend anyone seeking dental care to this Canton location

The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Didnt have to wait long to be called back... they got me in and out in no time.

This practice is a breath of fresh air after dealing with a different sheisty local dentist! The staff is down to earth and straightforward all while providing a high level of care. My family and I found her to be rough, very salesy, and does not take no for an answer very easily. No thank you! Ill continue to look for a company that is able to take care of all of our needs.

DO NOT GO to this office unless you want to pay for unnecessary dental work. I was told July 2021 that I had 8 cavities. Ive never had 8 cavities in my lifetime (50+ years). I immediately left this office. Today I saw my new dentist who told me that I do not have 8 cavities! I quote Id like to know where those 8 cavities were? AGAIN, DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST OFFICE. They will take your money, bill your insurance and you will get unnecessary treatment. ZERO STARS (I only gave 1 because it was the only way for this to post.)

We had a great experience at DentalWorks Canton. We were greeted with smiles at the front desk by the office manager and dental assistant. We were seen by Dr. Abdallah.Dr. Abdallah was very personable and kind. He did a great job and had a gentle touch and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend. Also want to mention the office was very clean and organized and everything was covered in disposable plastic in the treatment rooms. We will definitely be coming back.

As a new patient I didnt have to wait very long for my appointment which is always nice.I didnt appreciate it very much when the hygienist told me not to skip another visit. I know it was COVID but weve been open for a year is pretty much what she said, right after saying that my plaque buildup wasnt that bad for how long Id gone between cleanings. My only thought was, who cares if I have good teeth if I contract COVID and possibly spread it to others? It was my choice to wait until I got the vaccine and I didnt like being told that I shouldnt have thought about my overall health over my teeth.Overall my dentist and hygienist were professional enough, but I felt more like an assembly line that they had to get through rather than a patient that they cared about. I am considering switching to another practice but I dont feel like I *need* to switch.

We are going on 39 months with my daughters braces. She has not been seen in 6 months. COVID has shown they do not care to keep paitents informed. I have heard NOTHING from them for 6 months. I have called 3x. First was told July. Called in mid July was told end of July. Called end of August and they still are not open and are trying to make plans for ortho patients from Canton.We also were pushed back, 3 months of treatment, waiting for an appliance to be made. And another 2 when they changed orthodontists. The new one promptly took out said appliance. I was told it would not help her problem.The reason they even got 2 stars is, my childs teeth look amazing.... If we could ever finish up and get a retainer😵

Thought their questionnaire was a bit over the top. Thought I was going to have to sign my mortgage over to them to be seen. Overpriced and they just try to squeeze money out of you if you have insurance. Luckily I walked away before I got a bill because Im sure my insurance wouldnt cover what they were asking to do. At least my old dental office would give me an estimate then ask if I want things done that the insurance may not cover. I would never recommend these scam artists. Find a more honest dental practice.

The receptionist here “supposedly” scheduled me an appointment to see the orthodontist (verified with her and everything) to find out a month later on the day before the appointment it was never scheduled. So I had to wait another month and a half to have my appointment. Fast forward to the day of my appointment, I wait in the lobby for almost an hour just for the orthodontist to tell me I’ll need to schedule another appointment to actually get fitted for Invisalign and and get the process started. Wow. And to make matters worse the same lady who forgot to schedule me for my initial appointment was supposed to contact me about finance options for Invisalign... guess what? She failed to do that too. No one seems to be able to help me with these simple tasks. The service here is bad just to put it simply.

I was impressed with the service promptness and courtesy at this facility. The hygenist was remarkably cautious with my pre-existing health condition. She discussed the different approaches for dental cleaning for which I was behind in terms of care due to my dental facility suddenly closing down. The whole facility was clean and spacious. The cleaning process was indeed excellent, and the recommended option of care was agreed on by myself. I definitely recommend this facility !

This visit was by far the best visit my daughter and I have had since switching to DentalWorks of Canton for our general dentistry. The hygienist was more friendly than in previous visits, my daughter noted that he was more gentle with her teeth. Rabie did a great job, my whole mouth felt wonderful!

DentalWorks Canton is by far the best dental place I’ve been too. They take the extra step to make sure you’re comfortable during your appointment, and their staff treats you sort of like neighbors you talk to every now and again. Not only that they’re very professional with anything and everything they do. Rabie the hygienist insures I’m in and out in a timely fashion, and is highly recommended. DentalWorks is also the only place I’ve never had any trouble with pain wise, when it comes to fillings or cleanings!

My first visit with them was such a good expirience, especially when you don’t like going to the dentist. They made me so comfortable and like they were on my side and not just trying to do a job. I love them already!

We had a very bad experience and recommend you find a more professional location. We scheduled three cleanings and after two hours none of them were done.My wife and I were both told we should get two deep cleanings and subsequent follow up cleanings every three months. We have been regularly going to separate dentists in another state and none of of us has ever been told any special cleaning was needed.As the price was very expensive and not fully covered by insurance, I asked for a quote for standard cleaning. The receptionist refused and said it would be malpractice to give a standard cleaning.We also had our information sent from our previous dentists. First the receptionist claimed they didnt get anything. Then when I pressed her that I was CCd she admitted they got them. She then claimed they were bad quality and could not be used as their clinic was digital. The files sent were digital images and looked exactly the same as the x-rays they took that day as I viewed them at the same time as theirs.The technician had trouble taking my sons x- rays so I told her we emailed his x-rays taken a few moths ago. They still insisted that they must take their own x-rays.This location only cares about selling expensive unnecessary procedures and frequent visits not covered by insurance. If you can stay away from this chain dentist only focused only on profits.Update: We went to other dentists numerous times since this review and have never been told a deep cleaning was needed.

My 2 kids have been going there for general care for over 8 years. The past 5, they have been going for orthodontic work. The doctor turnover is so high there, we finally left the company yesterday. My daughter has been seen by 6 different doctors over the past 5 years. 6 different doctors! Every doctor has something different to say about her care. I got a second opinion and everything is all screwed up. I shouldve pulled them 3 years ago after doctor #3. The office staff is really great but the company cant keep doctors. Its very sad because we have spent thousands with both of my kids and now we have to start over with someone else. My kids deserve better and consistent care then what they received at this office.

I truly look forward to coming to Dentalworks canton to get all my dental needs done whenever. Robbie is the absolute best hygienist and the front desk managers are so nice and always professional. As long as my insurance permits-i will continue my services with Dental works!

Dr Patel and staff are great!The only thing that I would recommend is that is possible, go there in the Morning/Afternoon. Evenings there are pretty busy and you might fell like being a little rushed through your treatment. Overall pretty nice!

Weve been going here since they were in Sears, so 18 years now. The hygentist Rsbie is AWESOME!! He takes the time to explain every single thing before he does anything. The office staff is friendly. Especially Tiffany. Their dentists are caring also.

Had a wisdom tooth I was dreading having removed for years. Finally got to the point I had to. It was cracked and jacked up. Doc was able to remove it without cutting the gums, virtually no pain during or in the following days. Nothing a little Motrin couldnt handle.

Today I had an opportunity to visit the Canton location I can honestly say it was the best choice I’ve made the front office staff When I walked into the practice was very very friendly and welcoming.My hygienist Rabi came out introduced himself to me walked me through what the visit would look like before he even started working on me. I’ve been getting my teeth cleaned for many years and I can honestly say that this was the best appointment I’ve ever had .Rabi was very thorough educated me on things that I need to do better at home he asked me questions and he also gave me great feedback as hetalk to me through the entire process. in my book that adds up for a great hygienist. I chose this office because of the warmth I felt when I first called the office. And I’m happy that I got Robi as my hygienist. he reminded me of my hygienist in Texas very thorough and the fact that he cares about his patients is very important to me .Rabi you deserve five stars plus and the entire office thank you for the great experience that I received yesterday during my visit.

I am not sure who the previous patients seen, however my family and I have been patients here for 5 years or more even though the office staff (office manager and dentist) changed once the staff has always been kind and courteous to us. Marilyn (hygienist) who has been there since we started coming is AWESOME. I will not let anyone else clean my teeth besides her even if I have to wait a month longer then I will. This is not a joke, I love Dental Works of Sears Westland and I am not a employee.

Went in for fillings and gum cleaning, with Dr. Dishant Patel. I have pretty good insurance so I was expecting most of it to be covered. I was asked to go for a laser treatment for my gums as i had a tartar build up. I was hesitant to go for it as they were charging me around $ 400 after my insurance. The receptionist kept nudging me to take it but I said ill be deciding later. While my filling was going on, the doctor kept saying that I need to go for the laser time and again and very evidently was trying to scare me. He even took me a separate room and insisted on it. I just got my fillings done and decided to go to another good clinic. Not only was my cleaning covered with the same insurance, i was told laser wasnt required.Dental works is nothing much a pretty fancy clinic to scare their patients and make them go for cost needless treatments. I would not recommend this place for anyone. Im not sure if all dental works are this bad, but the canton staff is surely is.

This dentist office is a great office, Dr. Arpenter is a very good doctor he makes my visit feel comfortable. The ladies at the front desk are very helpful and kind. This location is the best office ever.

Very few appointments available at times convenient for potential patients. Staff needs to work on customer service; more specifically, negative attitude and delivery of rude and impatient speech. Lost my business before my first visit because of adverse attitude. Id much rather spend the insurance money that is taken out of my check bi-weekly on a dental facility that can at least treat their potential customers with respect. If there is attitude before one obtains your business, what is there to look forward to when youre an actual patient?

My experience was amazing! The technician was very thorough, and there was no pain at all during the cleaning. The denist is as lso very thorough. Everything was explained to me in detail. I would highly recommend!

They seem to have a huge turnover with staff, particularly with dentists. I dont think Ive seen the same one more than twice, and now he is gone as well. There was also quite a turnover with the hygienists now that Marilyn is gone.However, care is good, and professional.

This place slips bills out of nowhere. First when you get in they print a bunch of papers and they show you what you are covered for. So they told me I was covered for the treatment but I had to pay some percentage up front and my insurance will cover for the rest. I paid for the treatment and the insurance will cover the rest (Thats what tell told me before I got the treatment done). So I paid for the amount that I wasnt covered for and got the treatment done. 3 Months later they slipped another bill in my mailbox and told me that I had to pay more for the treatment. Avoid.

I’m not happy with the results of my ortho I had 5 different people over 5 years working on my teeth and yet they still have gaps and uneven I wish they would start over.

I HATE THIS PLACE SO MUCH. They’re so rude and they don’t take care of my braces correctly. The brackets just pop of at random times and they cut me. I got my braces “tightened” and they gave me cut marks on the side of my mouth and they cut my tongue. I’m getting a new orthodontist place as soon as possible!

Very warm and friendly staff, Tiffany was very patient and worked with me and my schedule....my son had no complaints and I plan to be a patient there soon as well!!!

Called for an appointment, however their Manager Valerie said they were booked and can schedule about 3 weeks later. I took the schedule. She gave their new location address in Canton, said they will be moving by my scheduled date. I was at Canton location but it was still CLOSED, the office is still non operational. I called to resched, spoke with Tiffany. She cant even guarantee a next day appointment for me! Even said I shouldve been at the appointment 15 mins prior, which I was. What difference would it make - they gave me the wrong location/ address anyway. She kept mentioning about miscommunication when in fact, they just screwed up cos they never communicated with me that they still havent moved from Westland. The inconvenience on my part, traveling from Detroit to the very busy Ford Road cannot be fathomed, and they cant even give me a break by giving me a next day schedule! Very unprofessional practice. This shows what kind of business theyre running. Im glad I didnt push through.
