It was my first time ever taking a cycling class and it was so much fun!!! Instructors and staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!
I love this place. I personally only attend their TRX classes which are always a challenge if you make it. The instructors are motivating, helpful, and want you to have perfect form (something I admire). They emphasis your own personal strength and challenge you. Love it.
Turnstyle will give your spot away to people on the waitlist. We showed up to a class yesterday several minutes early only to find that both spots (myself and my friend) had been given to waitlisters. Make sure you show up very early for classes even if you reserve a spot.
The classes here are really good if you have Rich or Becca as the instructors. However, they just stopped doing the $99 unlimited cycling a month. They now offer a $129 for both cycling and indoor workout.
Massive fan of this place. Travelled to Boston for a couple of weeks study at MIT and managed to join a few sessions. Great core workout from the Ryder bikes, which took some getting used to. A very cool, welcoming crew.
Its a good cycling workout. However, this isnt the best studio. First, there are no locker rooms. They have very limited changing areas, so you really need to get there ahead of time. Second, they have very limited bathrooms, so youll be waiting a while to shower. Finally, the staff at the front desk when I went was not very helpful.
I loved the studio, the crew is awesome, and there are plenty of classes to try to fit in your schedule. My one gripe is with the riders who usually attend - they can be a bit snobby and territorial over their usual spots/bikes. Nevertheless, Ive never had a situation bad enough to prevent me from returning.Keep it up Turnstyle team!
The instructor was great! However, there was zero air ventilation in the studio.
Very very good spin classes. Want to sweat and have fun doing it? This is your place!
Turnstyle tends to offer slightly more affordable spin classes (compared to Soulcycle and Flywheel) but the instructors are just as energized and awesome. People rave about Dr. DEEPAK at Kendall, a spunky instructor with intense motivational coaching throughout. They offer cycling and bootcamp style classes. I always get a good sweat. Plus there are great places to grab a bite or a beer post class in this Kendall alcove.
The instructors are all amazing. This is the best spin studio Ive found in the greater Boston area.
TRX workout is tough. Good music. Make it as intense as you want
Cramped in a basement. I feel like the room I worked out in was meant to be a closet. However, good utilization of space and a decent bootcamp class.
Its very good but not like the top cycling places in Boston
Not your regular spin studio. It might seem weird at first, their bikes called RealRyder ... wobbles. I was weirded out and thought I was falling when trying to get on the first time! But its meant to wobble. Its meant to mimic a real bike more where you can turn left and right, which also exercises your core and upper body more than a regular stationary bike! The instructor I had was great and energetic. They have plenty of lockers to store your stuff during the class and sometimes they do special events. Theres an instructor who is a Laura Mercier beauty artists and theyve held a Beauty Night where she gives makeup and skincare tips.
TRX bootcamp is good.
Lol this place is weird.
Love this place!
I like most of the classes but its super small and the showering situation is near impossible with only two showers and no locker room.
Whips you into shaoe for sure.
YES. YES. YES. Muscles you didnt even know existed!
Ridiculous fees and charges.
