Staff are so friendly. Old building, fresh souls.
Hemenway is the nicer Harvard gym. This one has a plaque stating that Teddy Roosevelt lived there. Still a passably good place to lift. Two racks, one bench.
This is a great gym. They also have a swimming pool here. Went here for boxing train and cross fit. Always good energy and you can get a good work out in.
This is a very good gym, if you can get access (Harvard-affiliates and their families). Many Harvard clubs have classes here (I did karate, boxing, and BJJ), there are also regular classes, a swimming pool, and all kinds of equipment.
Five story world-class fitness facility in Harvard Square.
Outdated equipment, weird layout, but the best gym for weekend workouts as the Hemenway doesnt open until 10am and the Mac opens at 9am. Harvard seriously needs to update their athletic facilities and extend their hours of operation.
The worst gym I have ever been. In fact, for a while, I could not believe this is a gym associated with Harvard. Even a gym in a random college I visited functions much better than this one.
Plenty of strength equipment. Need Harvard membership to get in free.
Great swimming pool, free for Harvard students
Looks a bit old, but thats part of the charm
Saw a college volleyball game here. Fine facility. Really loud!
Great resource for the Harvard community. You must have a membership for admittance.
Unlike its cousin, Hemenway, the MAC is seldom crowded, and has a nice pool. There is not as much equipment, but this is usually not a problem.
Good gym.
Staff are so friendly. Old building, fresh souls.
Harvard gym, historic building.
Quality swimming pool lol
Unless you want to swim go to Hemenway which is a way better gym.
Not the most amazing gym but it has almost everything youd need and is very centrally located.
This place is amazing !
No air conditioning
Nice pool
