Long post ahead:This place is 5 stars for cleanliness, services offered, and quality of service. Its well beyond the unsanitary, smelly nail salons I usually find in the midwest. The decor is beautiful. The massage chair is wonder. I got a milk and honey pedicure that was really amazing. On top of it all, the staff was very nice.The ONLY downside is that you will not be in and out of this place quickly. Because of their high quality service, theyre always busy! I got a manicure and pedicure today (both were beyond expectations) but I was there for over 3 hours between waiting and the actual services.Also, bring cash. When I went, their card reader was down. I think this happens fairly often. The gas station right next door has an ATM but the fee is like 3.5% 🙃

This place is AMAZING!!! Very friendly staff & super clean as well. I have never gotten my nails done before, and I can say this was the best outcome I could have ever hoped for. I will definitely be coming back, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone I talk to. (:

3 weeks ago I got a pedicure with gel and a full set of dip nails for around $72. I went back this Sunday, waited for 2 people that got there after me get their nails done, got an acrylic overlay on my natural nails per his recommendation and a black tip painted on, no base color and the man charged me $70! Theyre already chipping 3 days later.

I went in and there were already 4 people ahead of me and they got to me fairly fast but then I was waiting for a while to have my nails done. My technician was so nice and did a fantastic job on my nails! Very nice and professional I would definitely come back!

It was my first time ever getting a pedicure but it was amazing super relaxing I love the outcome the lady was super nice just overall very pleased with my experience. Everyone that works there is super friendly and nice it was just great all in all.

I finally found a nail tech that gives me consistent results! I get what I ask for and the shape of my nail is spot on, which is a must! Vincent is my guy! Just an FYI, they prefer you to pay in cash and they take walk-ins.

For getting my nails done professionally for.the first time they did amazing. I walked in at 645ish they close at 7pm. But I waited my turn as they were pretty busy. They stayed open till after finishing those that were in there. The gentleman who did mine was super sweet. Definitely go back again.

I had a full set of acrylic ombre nails done. I showed Vincent the picture and my nails turned out even better than the picture I showed him. Zens Nails is the only nail salon I will be going to from now on. The price is reasonable for the high quality service they perform.

Beautiful work, professional, friendly! Over all I had a great visit. My only complaint is the wait time, took a total of 3 1/2hrs to get in & out. But honestly that entire time I was there they were PACKED! I literally didn’t see 1 employee not working. I don’t know how they do it. I give them major props‼️ You guys ROCK‼️

This is hands down, quite literally, the best place in southeast Iowa to get your nails done.They do an incredible job! It’s a bit expensive but you get what you pay for and then some.I will never go anywhere else.

Got there at 2 pm it took till closing time which was 5 for them to finally get my daughter and mine nails done. They did other people the came in after us and then they are high price just for a 5 year old and a simply French nail cost 112 dollars for the long wait should have Been less. I won’t be returning

It was busy but I felt like I was completely ignored. I was only spoken to three times throughout the entire process. He was too busy talking to the customers across the room. And while he was doing my nails he was working on the nails of the lady next to me using the same files, drills, pretty much everything. Very unsanitary. My nails were done terribly. I will never go back.

Been going there for several months now and always had great service. Went last evening for manicures and ended up only doing 1 polish change. Service was terrible and the nail tech kept telling my granddaughter how what she was requesting wouldnt look good (different colors). He was extremely rude and was telling me it was too expensive to do the polish change she wanted. Not that it should matter to him, but thats MY decision not his. He quoted us $35 for a french tip polish only on a 9 yo. Thats what I pay for an acrylic fill. But I agreed to the price and his attitude only got worse. Our time there for 1 polish was a bit over 3 hours. Ridiculous wait times lately. Absolutely will not be going back due to how she was treated and his argumentative demeanor.Also be prepared their debit card machine never works- cash only.

Came in at 1:15pm and didnt get our nails started till 2:45pm and he messed up my toenail color so he has to redo my toes. Prices arent bad but I prolly wont be coming back

They always do an amazing job at Zen Nail, sometimes there is a little bit of a wait, but they are definitely worth it. There’s nowhere else around here that I would go for my nails, definitely quality service & amazing staff!

My family and I have been to Zen Nail bar & Spa three times. On all three occasions we had not been addressed when walking into the door, which wouldnt be a big deal; however, all three times they were never running on time. They never communicated, apologized, or even addressed the fact that peoples appointment times were not being met. The first appointment I had I waited over an hour to even be moved into a chair. I ended up having to reschedule because they were so behind. My mother had a similar experience where it took over 45 minutes. I made excuses and was hopeful the third time would be the charm, but again I arrived for my 1:00PM appointment at 12:55PM, and waited until 1:20 before finally giving up on Zen Nails. My advice is dont make an appointment here because they dont respect your time or their clients. Would much prefer a reliable place that doesnt overprice their services and has better customer service.

The Pedicure with massage was excellent. They were quite busy, which can be expected for a Friday. It took two and a half hours from the time I entered to the time I left. The pedicure only took about 45 minutes. I didnt give 5 stars because it was the most expensive pedicure Ive ever had and I only selected the second to least expensive option.

They are always courteous to their customers even when it is very busy. They are the best place to go to in Southeast Iowa. I find pictures on the Internet and show them what I want. They can always do what I want. I have been going there for over a year and have never been disappointed.

Never again. My nails look like a 5-year-old did them. There is nail polish still smeared on the edges of my cuticles and not a smooth finish at all Its lumpy. And all because the wedding party that had an appointment walked in while I had already been there for an hour. So he was rushing me through so that he could get to the wedding party. He never bothered to even look at the finished product of my nails or asked me if I was okay with them. If he would have asked I would have told him that I wasnt happy with them. Has he paying customer I should have told him that I can tell that he was rushing me and wanted to move on. Thats not the kind of customer service that I want or deserve so I wasnt going to hold him from his wedding party. He sure did take the time to take my money though.

I had a terrific experience since just moving from Oregon! Danny was very professional and efficient in a timely fashion. I had old acrylics removed and the French pink and white applied. To all possible new customers, you would benefit checking this place out!

Vincent did a great job as usual! Had my fill and gel polish removed then nails cut short and polished. Will be back for a full set of acrylics with french ombre in a month!

Great place. Very friendly. There usually is a wait time, so dont be in a rush. They do a great job. They dont rush on your treatment.

Unfortunately they’re the best in the area skill wise but their service is terrible. You can never make appointments and there’s always a hour + wait with multiple chairs open. So long of a wait you would have to take a half to full day off work just to sit there. They also charge $10 extra (on top of their normal take off fee) to take off gel just if you previously got your nails done somewhere else (same lacquer brand and all) -which I’ve never experienced anywhere else. They do not take cards and then they only did venmo and cash but now it’s only cash app & cash and they’re internet is suspiciously always out…oh and there’s always a dog of theirs barking in the back. Today’s appointment I was cut while they filed my nails and acted as if it were my fault. I am willing to drive to Cedar Rapids at this point. Have given them plenty of chances but now I will never be back.

I have been to plenty if shops and none have come close to Zen. The staff is amazing. They are great at what they are doing and they do it quick. Love the way they handle everything and so clean. Been going here for almost 2 years now and wont go anywhere else now. Nails, hands and feet feel great after every visit. Not to mention my eye brows when I get them done too.

Worth the wait! If you’re in a hurry, this isn’t the place for you. But they’re busy because they good!! Nancy and the fellas are so much fun and so very kind. Their work is phenomenal!

I love Zen! They do amazing nails and they have a lot of nice equipment and things and glitters that other nail places in this area don’t have. Their business is also really beautiful and clean. They are more expensive than other places but it’s worth it because they do the best work out of anywhere in Burlington or Muscatine.

Only gave 1 star because google wouldn’t let me give 0!!! I came in for a fill and gel polish. On their website it says that is $36. They charged me 58.50 for the service because “it cost more to trim my nails, and get square tips”. And for some reason they started at $41 not $36. They never told me while doing my nails it would be extra. It would have been cheaper to get a full new set. Then when I came back they were rude and would not refund me the money they over charged me. Don’t go to this place.

Great place and people! They will get you in and out but there is usually a long line so I like to go in early before they get too busy.

All of the staff is very kind and accommodating! They are always busy so a little patience and kindness goes a long way! Rude/bougie people may find themselves waiting a long time! Danny and Vincent are the best and I highly recommend this place for all your beauty needs!

Very good service. However, expect a very long wait. Each time I go to get a manicure and pedicure it is about a 3 hour time frame. It is absolutely worth the wait. Just plan for it.

My stepdaughter and I went to get pedicures ( it was her very first one at that) and I had made an appointment. It took them over 45 minutes to sit us in our chairs. Another 25 minutes to even start the water to soak our feet. By the time they started on us, they let our feet soak for less than 3 minutes. They rushed the service, did a horrible job painting the nails. It cost me over $80 for two pedicures. Ill stick with driving over an hour away for a more affordable, professional experience. Would not recommend. Its a shame too, this place has potential to be really nice. But the employees sure ruined that.

Great place, amazing people (Denny), amazing customers, BUT, they need to hire someone to work the front counter and they need more manicure tech. The wait for my gel color change is very long (no matter the day or time)This is worth the wait but please hire more personnel

I am always welcomed with a warm greeting, and treated like I am the most important customer they are seeing. This was only my 2nd visit, but it felt like I had been going for years. The salon is CLEAN, they are very professional, and quality in service is top notch!

Today was my first visit here, and I will definitely be back. Their entire staff was fantastic. Even though there were several customers in the salon, I only waited a few minutes to be seen. I had a manicure and pedicure, and everything was great. The salon is beautiful, clean and comfortable. I was treated so well, and even though I was the last customer of the day, they totally went the extra mile to take care of me. Highly recommend!

I was a little skeptical since we havent found a good nail salon since moving from California. My wife was extremely happy with the service and quality! She absolutely recommends! Wouldn’t not recommend at all. For one, I waited for almost 2 hours just to get my eyebrows done. Than the nails I wanted to get done, they said would be $90. Never going back .

I got basic acrylics, white color and one nail gold glitter and it was $70!! I get the same thing every time and other places only charge me $45. The guy was kind of rude and would start my nails and walk away to talk several times. Would definitely recommend going somewhere else, the product is not worth the price.

I have been going to this place for almost a year now and my polish always last. One time in this year I went to a different place my nails and polish was messed up before even a week has passed. I work around chemicals that should remove the polish but whatever Zen nail techs do my stuff last a month every single time. A little more expensive than other places but worth it for sure!!

I took my 2 yr old daughter with me today and I got a pedicure and got her nails painted. My tech Cindy was absolutely wonderful and was so patient with my daughter. Its my first time going some place here in town since we moved down here from cedar rapids area and we will definitely be back.

Referred by my daughter to Zen. Shed been a couple times and loving them!Pleased I decided to check em out! Great results only part of the deal. The tech I was greeted by was personality plus! No need to roadtrip for good nails anymore!Danny is doing great work, as they all are! I cannot recommend this place enough! They take their time and the service is amazing. The Heart Warming pedicure was amazing. Where else can you get a glass of wine and a hot stone massage with your pedicure?!

Had an appointment for me, and my two sister in laws and they were ready for us and it didn’t feel rushed. We were offered something to drink upon arrival and everyone was so friendly and professional. The heartwarming pedicure with the hot stone massage was AMAZING- best pedicure I’ve had in a long time!

My first experience was great! The atmosphere is calming, which is something that is so relaxing to me. The service is fast, and they did exactly what I wanted. They didn’t try to change my nails into something they wanted. They actually talk to you and care that you are there! There was laughing and smiling.. so great. They are a but pricey, but worth it. I will be returning. I hope I get the same experience every time.

I am very impressed and extremely satisfied with how they turned out! Very hard for anyone around here to give me the shape I want not here though my nails are perfect!! The best nail place in town hands down. They use liners in their pedicure tubs (it doesn’t getting more hygienic than that). There is a wide variety of pedicure services, including one with hot stone massage (LOVE). Just try this place. I you won’t regret it.

We didn’t have an appointment- just walked in. We were helped right away, picked out or colors as we sat and waited about 10 minutes or so... they were full for the pedicure area.we were out within the hour.Quick and simple- great prices too!
