No respect for customer’s time. I had a 5:15 PM appointment. I arrived on time & it was a few minutes before someone acknowledged me. After about 20 minutes I was told to sit down at a manicure station. I was sitting there for a while & I finally asked the person who first acknowledged me how long it will be before my manicure would begin. The person said it would be 10 minutes. There was no apology or any concern that the earliest my manicure would begin was at least 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. I said I couldn’t wait and left. Also, stations & people are too close together. I wore a mask & I appreciate it they wanted people to wear masks. However, there is no practicing of social distancing & it was too crowded. Very disappointing.

Just tried this spa today and loved it! My manicure came out great and they took extra care of my little sister too. They added adorable flower mail Art and she had a blast. Would definitely come back again.

WORST pedicure I ever got. The guy i had put no effort into my pedicure. My toes all smudged the second i left because he gave me no time to dry them. He was more interested in what was going on in his phone than my pedicure!!! I will never go back and never recommend this place to anyone!

Very unprofessional and not on time.I had an appointment with Nancy at 5 PM and was there 5 minutes before my appointment time .They asked me to wait for a few minutes but had to wait for almost 25 minutes, after asking a couple times they led me in and made me sit in the pedicure chair for another 15 mins with no one attending me. Did not end up getting the service due to the lack of professionalism.Better to call ahead and confirm the time even though you have an appointment!!

My friend and I made appointments for 330, we called and said wed be 5 mins late, we got there it took them 10 mins to sit us down and my friend started getting her dip powder off and the lady was getting annoyed at her, I was picking out colors (,be aware they charge up to $10 extra for certain colors, ) I settled on a color and was waiting an additional 10 mins for someone to start my manicure and no one showed up, I ended up leaving and told my friend I had a work call to make anyways, she didnt even get her nails actually done because the people were so rude there . she said after I left a bunch of other parties arrived there and the lady was getting stressed because she triple booked appointments. so not worth the money and the staff is extremely rude, I wouldnt go back here again.

I cannot say enough about Gliss Gloss nails! I have been to many nail salons and this place is my favorite. They do such an amazing job on dip manicures and pedicures. Super clean, lots of colors to choose from and every nail technician are extremely professional and do great work!

Don’t go here unless you want to wait, even with an appointment. I’ve been going here for a year however my last 3 appointments I’ve had to wait over 30 minutes to be seen. With the last one another person was taken in front of me, even through I arrived sooner with the same appointment time. Dip takes long and having to wait 30 minutes or more makes this place unsustainable for a busy healthcare provider like myself. I will look for mobile, in home services.

I will never go back. I made an appointment and then waited 50 minutes. I had gone with someone else, they started her toes 30 minutes prior to me but we both finished at the same time. I kept asking to put the whirlpool on for my feet and she kept saying “one minute “ the water was ice cold by the time they started. Very very unprofessional

Great and relaxing experience. Received a regular pedi with Nancy and she did a great job I felt like I received a deluxe version. They comply with the Covid protocols so I felt safe. Nancy was sweet and she listened to me and did a very good job.

I usually never leave reviews as it’s too time consuming. However, this place was horrible. It was the most uncomfortable nail experience / atmosphere I’ve ever been in. I booked an appointment online from reading some of the positive reviews, I had high hopes. I went to get dip powder. I had on 3 week old dip so it needed to be removed. The nail technician I had used the machine to file the dip down, it burned so bad I sad “Ouch” like 5 times. All the other technicians including the owner just looked. I finally told the gentleman that my nails were thin and asked if he could just use acetone and a hand held file. He ignored me and kept using the machine. My nails came out horrible! To put it short they should be ashamed. Seriously people go somewhere else and save your money.

Ive been going to Gliss Gliss for the last few months now. Normally I have a relatively average experience. Ive gotten my nails done (acrylic, gel, SNS, normal polish) and pedicures.Recently (the last three times) my experience has been very negative. Ive felt disrespected as a customer and will no longer be doing business here. The handy work on the nails has declined (with gel nails barely lasting a week), and attitude when Im asking for simple requests.Ive been badgered about getting more services while Im in there (and I dont mean normal up selling) more so like three ladies asking me the same question about whether I will go from gel nails to a pedicure to a wax. Its frustrating.The time before my most recent visit I walked in and explained how a nail polish was ruined and I would like to get it fixed. The nail tech who seated me 1. Didnt respond 2. Spoke to the other nail techs immediately after I voice my concern in a different language 3. Didnt speak to me the entire time I sat there and 4. Was very rough with my nails. I explained it hurt and the nail tech didnt look up and keep working roughly.I still came back because one of the nails broke and it was very painful. And I received similar treatment.My experience has been positive until recently. Im not sure if there is new management but no one likes to feel like their business isnt appreciated and theyre being disrespected by a company.

I went to Gliss and Gloss for the first time today and I will definitely not be returning. My greeting was a nod of the head, as in what do you want. I said I had an appointment for 11:30. She then turned to someone and said something in her language and then told me I had to wait. Which is fine, I arrived 5 minutes early. Though, there was somewhat of a wait. Once it was my turn to get my brows done, the person didn’t come up to me to greet me, or say we are ready for you. She yelled for me all the way down the other side of the nail place. And no, it wasn’t even by my name. It was “ person getting brow wax!” Good thing I wasn’t getting a Brazilian or bikini wax because they would have probably yelled that out for everyone to hear (that would’ve been embarrassing). Once in the waxing room, the tech did apologize for the wait, which I was appreciative of, though, as I was getting my eyebrows done, a little girl came into the room and was talking to the tech and watching movies on her iPad. I’m okay and supportive of bringing your child to work, but there should be boundaries. It’s not very spa like when you have all that noise around you. Gliss and Gloss is just not a professional salon I will be returning to!

Their prices are good for what you get, and they did a very good job but the workers there did not show much interest in the customers. i felt that they just wanted me to get in and out. overall the service was good but i wished they had shown interest and more respect in their customers.

Gliss and Gloss is a relatively new nail salon in Burlington Ma.I have had gel nails for many years so I know quality work and how difficult it is to find a good salon.Amy is wonderful! I have spoken with other people who feel the same way about the other technicians.This is a family owned and run business with customer satisfaction as part of their mission for success.You will not be dissipointed!

Tried it here a few times out of convenience since its on my way home. Not worth it. My gel manicure chips without fail within the first week every single time. The person performing the services every time (except for 1 nice woman I had) is always very rude. They make no attempt at being nice or simple conversation other than to tell you what you are doing wrong. For example, the driers they use for gel are absolutely ancient and they love to reprimand you if youre not quick enough to get your fingers in there, which ended up with me smudging my nails every time. They constantly tell me I am too tense when holding my nails out to get painted - whatever that means? Never experienced anything like it. Wont be back

I want to like this place because their color and selection of services is unbelievable but I have never felt so disrespected by a business in my life. Came here today for a second time with a picture of a half moon manicure because I saw a girl get one last time I was there. The picture even had the exact colors I wanted. From the moment I walked in before I even made the request the nail tech seemed irritated by my presence. I should have left then. He started doing my nails and when he went to put on the second color he did it at the base of the nail instead of the top. I quickly pointed out that I wanted it the other way, like the picture, and he started escalating and ACCUSING ME of telling him the wrong thing. So I pulled up the picture again and said no, I showed you this twice. And it was really no big deal, it was gel so just wipe off the top color and do it the other way. Nope, he actually picked up the dryer and tossed it to the side and started yelling to the other techs in another language. The other techs calmed down and he easily finished the manicure the way I requested. At no point did he or another employee apologize for the confusion, behavior, or the way I was treated. Myself and all the customers present were visibly uncomfortable. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!! I had heard from a friend they were decent and went to check them out since they are so close to my office, I will not make this mistake again! There was no wait for me but I did see several people who had to wait after I got there so be aware you may sit for awhile. They gave me a paronychia infection and now I have to go to the doctor and pay for that. My finger started hurting the next day and was super swollen and continued to get worse. The following day, (2 days after my manicure) my finger has pus coming from the nail bed andcuticle area. I looked it up and saw this is caused by bacteria!! They do not clean their utensils and re-use th! DISGUSTING!! DO NOT GO HERE! They seemed to take a long time for a gel service, over an hour, much longer than other places. AVOID THEM!

I made an appointment through Yelp, they got back to me right away then I got stuck in traffic and was so late for my appointment. They still made time for me and even rushed because I was trying to squeeze in the mani before heading to work for the night. Even tho they picked up the pace I didnt feel rushed at all. They added and accent nail too! Super clean and peaceful salon. Will be back for sure.
