Savannah the βownerβ called us a few hours before our reservation that was booked 3 weeks in advance to tell us there are no vehicles. She did not try to accommodate us in anyway but just kept pushing customer service and reservation number. No we have to wait for a refund and find a vehicle 3 hours before we are suppose to leave. DO NOT BOOK HERE. I even called on 3 different occasions to confirm my reservation time and type of vehicle I paid for.
I believe this was my first Budget experience. I usually rent from Enterprise. I rented a full size car and was given a Volvo SUV - not a huge deal. Tire light being on and not being notified - huge deal. Not doing a walk-around the car before release of rental - huge deal I didnt push back because I was preparing to leave town for a funeral. Im sure Ill rent from there again. Hopefully under different circumstances and with site improvements.
Terrible new management. They change the base rate of the rental, upcharge items when not advertised or accepted. As a frequent Budget FastBreak user, STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION. Use Enterprise or Uber.

Ordered a 12-15 passenger van. Ticket said we would get a Ford transit. Got stuck with a Chevy van without adjustable seating. Rear AC controls were broken. If I couldve got my rental from somewhere else I would have.

Horrible customer service!! When I showed up to pick up my car, they informed me they no longer had what I had paid for and gave me a small SUV. Upon getting into the car its reeked of smoke and looked like it had barley been cleaned from the previous rental. I asked the lady at the front to please make note that the vehicle had been smoked in and she made no indication at all that she would give me a different car, or even clean it before leaving. At drop off, I asked who I needed to speak to about my issues with the vehicle and she gave me the independent operators card. After calling her, she immediately got an attitude with me. I will never use this location again!!!

They took my money and then ran my credit without telling me and said they couldnt rent me a car. Then it takes 5 days to get my money back. That should be illegal. They shouldnt be allowed to run somebodys credit without verbally telling them thats whats going on. Plus the lady at the Burleson location was EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude. Extremely rude. Worst car rental experience I have EVER had. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

I scheduled a prepaid reservation at this location for a Saturday morning pick up (with plans to go out of town on Sunday morning). My husband had to work on Saturday, so we were going to grab the rental together and I drive it home and he drive our car to work. When we arrived the Suburban that we requested was not there. We were offered two other locations to try. Half way to one location I received a call saying that the car was damaged at this location and to try the third location. The last location was at SEARS in Hulen. We sat in an empty rental office (freezing cold) for 30 mins. before leaving. Other customers were arriving but the staff was outside detailing a car. Basically we ended up running around trying to get a car that we had already prepaid for, but we NEVER got a car. I called customer service and they said that they would refund me back my entire amount in 3-5 days. It NEVER happened. I called again after 5 days and was told that the refund takes 10 days and would be give to me in two equal parts. It NEVER happened. I still have not received my refund. Every person that has answer at customer service or the billing department has had me on hold for long periods of time to research my account only to tell me something from the last person. I feel forced to give 1 star. I dislike having to write a negative review but this is unacceptable.

We ceased utilizing Budget in Burleson almost 2 years ago as customer service had plummeted to a low I had never seen in a business. This month we needed to rent a car asap twice and Im so glad we didnt have another choice. If you need a rental, you need to come back to Burleson Budget Rental Cat. They have a new manager and new staff with an awesome attitude. I was retur ing at 12 today and the manager was incredibly busy and the entire time she remained calm and truly kind. As I said this was our second car in a month. The first time, we met staff and she reflected the same customer care as her manager. Thank you Budget, you finally got it right & your service is awesome See you again soon!
Not very happy with the service here. The car was great (although it wasnt clean when I got it). I prepaid for an economy car online and then it wasnt available when I got there so my only option was to upgrade to a large SUV and pay extra. I ended up turning it in a day early and when I asked about receiving a refund for the entire day I didnt use, I was told Id have to take that up with customer service. And I absolutely intend to.
This was by far the worst customer service Iβve ever seen at a car rental place. There was a young black girl with short hair working at the desk this morning. There was a customer ahead of me who was apparently picking up a car. All they had ready aka CLEAN was a Yukon and the customer said she couldnβt afford the gas and the Yukon wasnβt the vehicle she requested. The rep then said, βYouβll have to wait 15 minutes for a car to be cleaned.β She proceeded to walk to her office and slammed the door behind her. There were numerous vehicles parked for rental but only one Yukon available? This location needs to be audited for sure for management and employee dysfunction!
I appreciate the level of cleanliness in the vehicles. They are my top choice for car rentals. The owner here is very nice and timely with his business regarding you.

Bad experience!I rented a car on 10/18/19. It was supposed to be ready by 9am, we get there and they say no cars are here yet come back at 12. So we get the car at 12..dirty. We were renting for a week, it was due back Friday 10/25/19 by 12. We get there turn it in by 10am 10/25 and we are charged on our card an extra $104.89 bc they said it was late! They say we signed paper work that said 9am.. well we are thinking bc you gave it to us late (12pm) you fixed the paper work. Nope. So had to get manager called .. who said they will take off charge but will take a week! And Manager said they would do it when they got in, we will have to follow up to make sure.. Last time doing business here. The attitude towards us was - you shouldnβt of signed the paper work that said 9am. Check your times and dates here.

Worst experience ever!! After 28 years in the Navy and hundreds of rental cars over my life, I will never bother with renting a car or truck at the location or company again . The man said he was the owner but acted like an uneducated teen. A 30 something black male, he gave me a card for Courtney Hall. He didnβt look like a Courtney! But instead of helping, he just stood there and said he couldnβt take a debit card as 100$ deposit which was already done when the car was ordered. You could tell he was having fun making our life miserable for a day. Smerk on his face said it all. Got a car the next day at a different location. SKIP THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN!!!!!
These ladies are rude as hell up front. Felt like they were upset that I walked in fifteen minutes after opening time and they are still trying to wake up. I have rented from Budget for years, but first time at this location and did not feel comfortable with this experience picking up my vehicle at all. To be specific one of the issues both of the ladies told me I would possibly be charged more because I was here fifteen minutes before pick up time reservation. I am still going through pick up process as we speak and it is now five minutes until my reservation time, which is why I came fifteen minutes before reservation but fifteen minutes after opening time. I have always been told there is a thirty minute window for pick up and drop off for years that I have been renting, but Iβm guessing they didnβt really want to help me until 8am. Although they open at 7:30 and the process takes a little bit. Hopefully I never have to use this location again.To add to many other bad impressions in a short amount of time all of my fast break info has been crossed with another user and they wonβt allow me to access my account. Now I donβt know who has access to my personal info. I have password to log on to this account but all of my credit card and personal Home info has been switched for another person. If I can view all of his info who has access to mine???Car was the worst rental Iβve ever received and had stains all over the seats. Not happy at all about this experience.
Worst ever rental company. Nice and courteous when you rent, but rude and unfriendly if you return early. Let me explain had to rent large SUV on a hurry to bury my mother in the National Cemetery in Biloxi, MS. Prepayed and rented the vehicle for one week just in case it was needed. The vehicle ran good but was low on washer fluid, and the remote battery (push button start so was a have to have) was so low the vehicle would not start within 6 hrs of getting it. The window was so dirty on inside it took 45 mins to clean to get all the film off. Vehicle had not been vacuumed just barely wiped down. And the windshield was cracked. So upon getting this vehicle ready for the trip myself I left. Trip ended after 3 days. All trash was removed but I did not vacuum the vehicle (1500 miles on 3 days I was worn out and exhausted). Now to the biggest complaints, 1st they did not return any money for returning early, 2nd got over charged a an additional $150 to clean the SUV. 3rd if you prepay for fuel there they charge you 20 cents or more per gallon then at the pumps (they have this backwards dont they)? Not to mention how rude and uncaring these people were. I will never use this office or Budget/AVIS ever again after this. Not when I can rent elsewhere for a little more and get unlimited miles, prepaid fuel at a much lower price then the pump, a clean vehicle inside and out and be treated well before and after. Up Date on Sept 30th The company sent me a letter saying they are going to charge me for a windshield that was cracked when I picked the vehicle up (an Additional $ 248). Te agent inside said he made a notation in the file when I brought it to his attention. I contacted the billing office regarding this manner and the agent immediately told me I should have filed a claim for the broken glass upon my return. After many interruptions I finally explained to her that the crack was there before hand and that the agent in the office said he made a notion, After nearly 20 mins she came back on the line stating that this was an over site on their part and I would not be charged. However had I not called and taken care of this they would have charged my Credit card again. This is a sorry excuse for a company and I hope people will see this as it is intended to stay away from this company.
Terrible place, terrible service, if i could give no stars i would. My mom filed an accident report (which was VERY hard to find) and gave them the insurance of the guy who hit us so they could charge them instead of her. He claimed full responsibility and said that he was on his phone when he drifted over the line and hit our mirror. But these people STILL charged my mom because she didnt use their insurance even though the accident was not her fault and they had his insurance information. She is on a fixed income, it took her months just to save up for the damn rental and they took over 800 dollars that she didnt/doesnt have FOR A SIDE MIRROR!! I will never use that companies services for anything EVER, Id wrather walk than use one of thier cars ever againπ€¬π‘π
Burleson TX location are very rude they ignore you when u ask a question and go on to talking to the next customer and then the look at you and ask u if YOU NEED ANYTHING? I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THESE TO ANYONEIf I could rate these a zero stars π
Absolutely will never ever use this Burleson Avis/Budget again. We reserved a moving truck for yesterday and when we arrived to pick it up the girl working was not trained for Budget, only Avis and could not login in order for us to get the vehicle. We got on the phone with the Male owner and he said we would have to come back today to get it at 8am and he would be there to do the check in. On our way there this morning we were running 15 minutes late so I called 7 times to let him know so he wouldnt give our truck away to someone else and never could get anyone to answer the phone. We got the truck and am riding in it now. It stinks in here. The floorboards are disgusting with food and sticky spilled drinks. Also, the connection between the cab and the box of the truck is gapped up behind our heads at the roof and if it rains we are definitely getting wet! $150 for the day for this stupidity and all this hassle. We will make sure to use Penske for all future truck rentals.

Rented a trailer to pull our car behind the truck we rented. We paid for insurance on the trailer and had a flat tire which I thought would be covered but wasnt. Im stuck owing $800 for a tire because of the worthless insurance I paid for on the trailer.

I have rented from this location several times but it seems the cleanliness and attention to tire safety has been lacking. I have rented serveral trucks in which one tire or all tires are in the danger zone.

I reserved a car. All i had was a paper license apparently its not good enough for the Burleson location but government agencies will accept a paper license. Went and got a friend to rent the vehicle they tried to give me had scratches all over it, checked the inside it smelled like dirty dog and poop. When i asked for a different vehicle they stated all they had were 7 passenger vehicles and Id have to pay for the upgrade. Either pay for an upgrade are drive hundreds of miles in a car that smells like poop. We canceled the reservation called enterprise rental got a bigger car for less money, better customer service. They accepted my paper licenses and gave me no trouble. Will never rent from budget again.
We reserved a moving truck the beginning of the week for a Friday. We set up everything including people to help us move at 9 am.On Thursday I get a phone call at 5.35 pm! That they cancelled my reservation because they were overbooked.I understand this can happen but where amI suppose to get a moving truck for a decent price in that short of a time!They should have called in the morning ! Penske was already closed and so were some U-HaulLocations.Very very disappointed and unsatisfied by this so called customer service from budget. We still donβt know what to do or have a truck while being 36 weeks pregnant and having 2 kids everythingbin boxes and movers coming at 9 am!Stay away from this place as they obviously do not care about their customers

Rented a sedan for a quick trip to San Marcus. Arrived for pick up and they handed us a cherry cop red focus with total black leather interior, the bug juice on the bumbler and scratched trunk paint was appreciated because it was at least light in color! Temperatures expected at 103 and 105, with kids I requested anything different INCLUDING a down grade. Nope, with almost a full parking lot at 10:00AM they claimed there was nothing but an Armada for an extra $30.00 per day. A cancellation would take 3-4 days and a call to customer service couldnt help because they have no way of knowing what cars are on what lots. While Texas heat is not their fault a lack of common sense and customer service certainty is. 12:09. NO ac for kids in back, we all have body parts sticking to seats. Next stop walmart...looks like towels on the seats and back widows!

My husband went online to rent a car and went to pick it up the car and there system was down the guy blamed it on our bank that the reason my hubby card wasnβt working my hubby called the bank and the never received anything from budget swiping the card if people are reading these reviews stay away from this place they obviously donβt care about there customers Iβm not a satisfied customer therefore will never use this company again
