Shipping took more time than expected. I think it may have been weather related. Communication was great at to progress and location of package. RE: UpFix aka My AirbagsI searched out and enlisted this companys help, to fix my ECU, as the ratings they had received were excellent and they boasted a 24hr turnaround.Monday - messaged to make payment and a send label. Received reply to go online and that it was a 2-3day turnaround for my part.Wednesday, I sent my package by 24hr guaranteed postal mail (with my name, email, telephone & return address taped to the device), paying extra to insure it to $750 (Dealership replacement quoted $1,300).I called to make payment. They claim they did not receive it till that day, Friday (Day 1).Day 4 - email message The following item is on Technician hold asking for my reason for sending part for repair but it was quoting a part number and vehicle make/model that was not mine. To not delay matters, I still responded with the reasons for my part.Day 6 - I called to chase. They are working on it.Day 7 - I called to see if it was posted out. They state they are still working on it. Amber raised a ticket enquiry. I asked the reason for the delay? The reply came back, it took longer than expected!. Im sorry, but that is Not a Good enough Reply.Day 8 - I receive an email stating that they have taken payment and will be shipping (No Insurance). OH NO YOU DONT!!! I got on the phone and was told it was too late to add insurance as they had already taken the payment. I advised her to refund the previous transaction and charge it again. After Much A Do, this was done BUT their maximum shipping insurance is $225 or $250. How can you be working on parts in the $1,000s and have such low return coverage. This does not adequately cover your customers. Then, your shortest return is 2day express.Day 12 - I receive my part. I pray it has been fixed properly.UpFix/My Airbag, your service has not met any of its promised standards, and cost me extra in the process as I had to rent vehicles to fill the gap. I would like a better explanation than it took longer than expected and I await the same. ORDER No.100235379

This is my first Google review. I really would suggest using another company, which is what I will be doing. I have spent THOUSANDS with myairbags. They used to do a great job years ago.. Not the case any more. In the past 3 months I have sent in 3 different airbag modules and received them back and they WERE NOT REBUILT and still had crash memory codes in the module. This means we had to disassemble the vehicle, send the module back in, and wait to receive them back for them to fix their mistake and then send it back to me. I wasnt enthused with this, but they did take care of the issue after losing a weeks time. BUT. I was just informed that they will not pay shipping to send the module back that they made the mistake on. This means not only will they deny the mistake, they are making me pay to send it back not only with a weeks time, but paying shipping. I truly hope they read this and realize that telling your customer Im sorry for the inconvenience does not make it right. Especially after years of using their service. I am hoping safety restore can fill the void.

I sent seat belts and a srs module, and I got it back and the module was missing. They would not stand behind it, and had to go buy a new SRS module and get it programmed. I went to Safety Restore for the next vehicle that needed done. It wasnt my first bad experience. Had it happen before where the bolts are missing for the seat belts when they came back.

Seem like good people. The process took 3 days instead of one. My seatbelts are now twisted because they were trying to be helpful and “fix” it but it was never twisted before. So now my seatbelts have the problem they thought they were fixing it from. Shipping took longer than expected also. Prices have increased as well.

Emailed them on a abs module for a corvette and told them what code I had and what it was doing and was told they could fix it. So I sent it to them and when I got it back and installed still had the same problem. Did some more diagnostic on it and found the problem is the module and it is the reference circuit to the rf wheel speed sensor. I emailed them that information and was told at this point it would be better to replace it and to send them invoice and they would refund my money. Only problem is it is a discounted part. I called them and was copied on a email to a tech asking how to precede and have gotten no response and no refund. I have gotten several surveys asking how the service was. What service? So Im out the money for a repair that did not fix my problem and am getting no response back. Dont send your parts to them you will only be disappointed.

My ECM was definitely returned in a better order than when it left. My shift troubles didnt go completely away but they did change. I can definitely feel the transmission trying to shift to third but I think there is another problem holding up the transmission. Which leads to the next step of replacing my shift solenoid.I would highly reccomend these guys to anyone. I was informed throughout the process and promptly updated in the status of the service.

Myairbags used to be such a good company. Please everybody find a different company. They rebuilt a airbag module, I got it back and it still showed to be full of crash data, sent it back to them again and they said that it can no longer be fixed but they only gave me a partial refund because they said they had shipping expenses. I received no accountability with regards to the fact that they could not fix the problem. They wanted my money one way or another

Sent in my Electronic Brake Control Module 3 times. Still getting the same code, C0146. A quick Google search will tell you this is a internal failure of the EBCM, requires a solenoid replacement. Im a master mechanic and tried to explain this to their experts via the receptionist or whomever answers the phone. Apparently the technician never got the message or just didnt care. Kept claiming it tested good and it was the ABS pump?? So I tried a known good EBCM, low and behold, no codes. Still havent received a refund for the service or any of the three times I had to pay to ship it to them.

I was very skeptical of this place at first due to being unable to find the reviews (probably user error) and not seeing much about them on any forums but I took a chance and was very pleased with the quick and professional work on my ABS Module for my 01 Boxster S. I highly recommend this service though I think adding package insurance options would definitely put some customers at ease considering there are some VERY expensive ABS Modules out there, including mine. Regardless, my speedometer is now working for the first time since I purchased the car almost a year ago. Thanks @MyAirbags

My center console computer in my Prius was fixed by UpFix/MyAirBags and has been functioning beautifully since I got it back. They also did it for a couple hundred dollars rather than thousands from the manufacturer. Bought my gmc pickup new in 2003. In 2018 I had them rebuild the gauge cluster due to bad step motors and burnt out bulbs. Gm’s motors and lights lasted 15 years. Theirs lasted 3 years. Spoke with a gal one morning, she said I’d just have to pay shipping. Great. Shipped it out, got home and email says they want to charge me another 125$ for the exact same issue that they rebuilt in first place and their warranty was only 1 year and the gal that said repair would be free, must of been new. I’m positive in 2018 their cluster repairs were lifetime warranty. They must of changed it, I could be wrong though. I payed the shipping back to me fee and sending it elsewhere. To many companies offer lifetime gauge repair warranty for same price. Not happy at all that I shipped it out and lady told me It would be no cost warranted.

I would like to pass Kudos of the highest regard to MyAirbags for their excellent and superb customer service, repair, and working for my satisfaction. On Monday, I overnighted an ABS module to MyAirbags for repair. Their website states that orders were completed in a 24 hr turnaround, and my hope was to have the repaired module back by today (Saturday) to repair my daughters car. Boy did they deliver!!! They kept me apprised of the order status and met every expectation that I had. Even with a shipping glitch, they kindly and prompted corrected the error (Thank you Shelby!) and ensured the package would arrive today. I reinstalled it this afternoon and the problem was solved. I believe that everything you read on their website is absolutely true and in my opinion, they are the crown jewel of automotive electronics repair. Thank you very much MyAirbags! This process was amazingly simple. I boxed it up and mailed it USPS on Monday afternoon. They received it Wednesday and shipped it that same day -- I had it back in my mailbox on Friday! My Airbags has great service. I sent my Instrument cluster in because I was having gauge issues along with an electrical and Body Control Module issue and they worked with me all the way until everything was fixed. I did have to send the cluster in twice and on the 2nd time the cluster was still not fully working. Because I had other issues I had to trouble shoot a few things on my end and after all that I contacted Airbags technicians again. This was just after the warranty dropped but with a quick explanation they allowed me to send the piece back and got it straight at no cost but the shipping. I got a new instrument cluster reset to my original mileage sent back the day they received mine and everything was working as it should. Thank you Ernest...

The tachometer and fuel gauge stopped working years ago. The dealer quoted ~$800 so I just learned to count miles on my odom so I would know when I needed gas.I took my dash out on Saturday evening and to Kinkos Sunday to be delivered Tuesday.I received an email from MyAirbags that it was delivered on Tuesday and and email that it was done and heading back to me on Wednesday.I had it back in my truck Saturday afternoon. The whole process took 8 days.I opted for the upgraded blue LED lights and it looks fantastic!Highly recommended!Edit: The LEDs have gone out in the center of my dash. Im adjusting my rating because when I called the shop I was told I had to pay for shipping again. There is a one year warranty on the parts and labor but they do not cover shipping.Edit 2: I sent it back at my expense and when I received it back NO work had been done. In fact, it is worse now.Im so unhappy and disappointed.Edit 3: So I got a call after my last edit and someone asked me if I would change my review if they fixed my dash and reimbursed me. They never asked me to rate them a five but did ask me to change it from a 1. I agreed. I spent another $21 for shipping.I got my dash back and 3 months later there do not seem to be any issues. I guess someone was having a bad day the first time... and the second time... Ill never know.Since Ive gotten my dash back I havent received a refund as promised so my review will stand as is.I guess ultimately they did honor the warranty for the repair but it costs me almost $100 in shipping on top of the cost of the repair.Unless my review hasnt been clear by this point I do not recommend this vendor.Edit 4: I received my refund.A nice lady called me asked about my experience and actually seemed to listen. She immediately refunded the cost of the original service I requested then refunded me for all the shipping I paid.It has been a couple of months now and my dash lights seem to be working as promised.Based on the end product and customer service recovery I have adjusted my rating to 4 stars. Although this may seem high based on just the sheer timeliness of the request but ultimately I got the repairs I wanted with no out of pocket expenses.
