I feel bad for leaving a bad review because the workers were very nice. However, I am thoroughly dissatisfied with my nails. I got a powder dip over my actual nails, and the lady messed it up so bad. She got powder stuck underneath my nail and on the sides and she didn’t clean it. She did not shape my nails evenly, and when I asked her to clean them or shape them again, she just brushed it off. I am not sure if she knew how to do the powder dip, because she made me dry my nails with the fan. She also got her shirt stuck on my nail, and now there is lint stuck on the nail and I got the color white. I paid $99 for a pedicure and the powder on my nails. I am so upset. I tried cleaning them myself, and its just 😞...
I traveled to Boston for work, and on the way, one of my gel nails (that I had done at another salon the day before) chipped off. I asked a technician at St Marys if they would do a single nail (a pretty odd request), and they said yes! They helped me color match my other nails and did a great job of matching the style as well. Overall, they were very kind about the whole situation and did a fantastic job — you can barely see a difference! If I were staying in Brookline longer, I would definitely go back for a full manicure.
Got a pedicure here today and I highly recommend! Lots of nail color selection, very hygienic, and extremely relaxing. My pedicure was very detail oriented, they even used warm stones, and my feet look and feel amazing. The staff was very kind and I will definitely be coming back.
Their pedicures are the best in the mass area that I’ve come across. Definitely spa status for cheap. They’re not really good with acrylics but their natural nail work is good
Its only been a few days and my gel chipped and im just so disappointed. Geek manicure is 39 and the charged me extra(almost $2) because I paid with my debit card!!! They were really nice but Im upset I paid 40 for my nails to chip after a few days.
I love it here! This is where I get my acrylics filled when I am living in the city. Its about $30 for a fill which seems a little pricey (my place at home is $30 for a full set) but the quality is so good that its worth it! For a fill, I recommend calling ahead because I think there is only one employee who does acrylics. Friday and Saturday nights they are always empty but I went on a weekday today and they had a steady stream of people but nobody had to wait. The woman is extremely thorough and makes sure everything is perfectly filed and secured. The last time I went almost a month before any started to peel up. Theyre very nice and theres no awkward chat unless you want there to be. Ive been here probably about 5 times and its great! Also they take cards but you can only tip in cash.
Great mani pedicure, very thorough technicians and clean facility
I went here for the first time on Monday. There was no wait. I got a pedicure and a gel full set. They both came out good. Nails are a little thick but over all I am happy. The prices are a little high compared to other places say in Dorchester or Quincy but that is to be expected in Brookline. $88 at the end. Not including tip. They take credit cards but you cannot add a tip after, must tip with cash.
Good gel manicures - wide range of colors, including temperature sensitive ones. They also remove gel manicures with wrapping each nail in acetone and cotton. This removes the gel smoothly without damaging the nails from other methods like scraping it off. Pedicures are good too, there are massage chairs for those. Prices are reasonable for the quality of service, ambience and range of colors offered.
Myra is absolutely wonderful. She did a lovely job on my nails and was very kind.
Did a great job on a regular (non gel/acrylic) for $16
Been here before. Great service and quick. Nail polish last forever and very good greeting.
$19 for a regular sub par manicure. Also the nail file used was so old looking. Must’ve been used on dozens of other clients. Disgusting. Take your business mini luxe!
Probably one of the WORST places to get a full set of gel nails. They do a poor job, over charge you, and act incredibly rude to you until it comes time to pay or tip. A full set with gel cost me $62 the other day- on the pricing paper they keep at the front, it said $45 for a full set with gel. Dont go here if youre looking for a quality nail job
My favorite nail place! Quick, really good, and the gel polish lasts forever!
Awesome service. My go to nail salon in Boston!
Very calm atmosphere:)
Tiny little nail place thats nothing fancy, but gets the job done!
Very rude staff.
