Love the family! Love their service!
Loved the massage and nice attendant who did my nails, but the color of my nails quickly changed from light pink to splotchy brown in the four days following my gel manicure. When I went in to see if they could fix them, they insisted that I colored my hair (which I never have) and discussed my problem loudly in front of the rest of their customers, making me feel unnecessarily awkward. Will not be returning.
Stopped by a couple of hours ago with my mom, hoping for some nice mother daughter time. We went in and at first everything seemed fine. A nice place, but it looked a little dirty. I got a pedicure and my mom got a pedicure and a gel manicure. The workers were nice and made small talk with us. However, they seemed very careless and looked as if they were in a hurry. (Note that there were only one other customer, who was done) My mom had gotten the pedicure first then the manicure. After the manicure was done, they had said her toes were dry and we could leave. We left and she walked for a bit and saw her toes were starting to get smudged. We went back and they repainted the toes that had the smudges. They had done it very carelessly once again and hadnt cared about cleaning the edge of her nails. (there was some nail polish on the skin around the nail) We left right afterwards and the total for everything was around $130. We were shocked by the price. Other places weve been to had the total of around no more than $100. Its only been about 2 hours and my nails have drip lines and the colour was smudgy looking. It wasnt the worst experience but we are definitely never going back.
Its is the most disgusting nail salon Ive ever been to. It is overall dirty and gross. All the nail polishes on the shelf have liquid accumulating at the top because they havent been used in a while. I went in because I was in a hurry and forgot to ask the prices. I decided to get gel manicure and a gel pedicure. My total came put to $128. Never have I paid so much for this service (usual cost is about $25 for manicure and &35 for pedicure..both gel). This is absolutely absurd. Im never going back.
Highly recommend nailbar they are super detailed and my gel manicures last over 3 weeks and look perfect! The added bonus is the shoulder and neck massage!!
Extremely expensive for terrible service. The women were very aggressive and did a terrible job. I could’ve painted my nails better. Don’t waste your money here. Steer clear of this place
The employees at Nail3ar are exceptional at what they do! I know no one will read this whole review, so here are the bullets: 1. Longest lasting gel mani EVER, 2. One-time use, disposable pedicure tub per client, 3. NO UV LIGHTS for the gel; only LED, 4. 5-min shoulder/back massage with every mani/foot massage with pedi, 5. professional owner, great local business. Now, in sentences: The prices arent the cheapest youre going to find, but I guarantee the gel manicure IS going to last longer than any gel mani youve gotten elsewhere, so the ROI is prime. Today marks the end of the third week of my latest gel mani from Nail3ar and not one speck has peeled or become compromised. Additionally, and even if the pedicures sucked, this would be worth a bad nail job (but theyre great!): Nail3ar uses a disposable tub liner and stick-on whirlpool jet so everything is clean and youre never dipping your toes in a public foot bath. PLUS every tool is autoclaved and sealed in a sterile pouch. And if you needed final convincing, the owner of the shop shelled out the dough for LED lights for the gel manis - no harmful UV, ever. She told me she did it because shes not cheap enough to put her customers at risk with UV lights, so she bought lights that are better for the customer.
Super expensive for no reason
