I scheduled an appointment for my two daughters and me. Jimmy, Stephanie and Ivy took great care of us.I brought a picture of what I wanted done to my nails and Stephanie was able to do it beautifully. She kept checking along the way to make sure I was happy with it.Jimmy took his time taking care of my daughter. This was her first time getting acrylics. He made the experience enjoyable!Ivy was so sweet with my younger daughter. She got her first manicure. She had so much fun.The salon was clean and ran smoothly despite it being a busy day. It took me so long to find a good nail place and after some pretty bad experiences at other local nail places I almost gave up all hope. Until I found La vie I honestly can’t think of going anywhere else again. Each time I go they knock it out of park. My nails are always perfect shapes and color and design or exactly what I want!

I’ve been getting dip powder manicures at this salon for a few months now, and I love it here! My nails always look amazing— they are shaped just as I like them and the dip powder is so well done that they don’t look bulky or thick. They also have tons of colors to choose from which is so nice. All of the technicians I’ve had have been friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this salon!

I’m pretty particular about how my nails are done, so trying to find a great manicurist to do do a decent dip powder while in MKE for the summer was challenging, at best. 2 years ago my niece recommended Stephanie at LaVie and now I come here for my dip powder application. She does an excellent job and is very personable. Reasonably priced. The pedicures are great, too.

I arrived as a walk in without an appointment. They said 10-15 minutes to wait for a fill.35 minutes later they told me they couldn’t do pink and white fills.I understand you’re busy and can’t take a walk in appointment but don’t let someone wait over half an hour then tell them you can’t take them.Will not be back.

It was our first time trying this place. Needless to say we were extremely disappointed. When we entered everyone stared at us however, no one spoke to or helped us. After 12 mins of being ignored, we walked out. We werent impressed and wont be going back.It did help us find our new nail near by so it all worked out :)

Ive been to La Vie twice now; first for a pedicure and most recently for a shellac manicure. They were recommended by a friend for their Covid precautions and both visits they were very mindful of clean practices.Upon my first visit, my sister and I got pedicures and had a very good experience. One of her fingers/cuticles were cut due to the filing being too hard/aggressive but other than that we were very happy with the experience.The most recent visit was with a bachelorette party/group. They were very accommodating as far as getting the appointment scheduled and getting us all done at the same time despite having all different services. This was the first time ive ever had shellac manicures back to back; I had them done a few weeks ago in Madison and now at La Vie. Comparing the two, I was much happier with how my nails looked from the Madison visit. The La Vie technician did not get close enough to my cuticles with the polish, my nail shapes are uneven and there are a couple nails with inconsistent polish/globs on the side. The La Vie technician was also very rough/aggressive with handling my fingers to the point where I had to say something because it hurt. Overall, our group had a good experience and the girls were all happy with how their nails turned out but I think it depends on the technician you have; a couple of the circles also had bleeding from their cuticles.

Yesterday (01/19/2020) was my first visit to La Vie, and I will not be back. I called and made an appointment for a full set of acrylics. I arrived about 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment and noticed the place was packed. I wasnt seated until 30 minutes after my appointment time, and I could tell they were rushed, even though they were still telling walk ins to return in 20 minutes. I asked for square shaped nails, but since they were going so fast, the tech was trying to file them before the acrylic was dry, having to reshape over and over again. Because of this, I did not end up with my desired shape, and the thickness of the acrylic varies on a single nail. I was even cut during the filling process because the tech went so fast. Additionally, I asked for a dark red, and with only two coats its very streaky and the color is different nail to nail.Overall, no attention to detail, and Im terribly disappointed with my nails. Their website advertises a full set of acrylics for $35,and I was told my total was $45, but since I had to wait so long at the beginning it would only be $40. I that point I just wanted out.I chose this place because of the stellar reviews. My experience was anything but. Advice? maybe if they are slower they actually care about quality, but if you walk in and theyre busy? RUN.

THE WORST MANICURE I’VE EVER GOTTEN! Don’t waste your money going here, I got an acrylic full set with gel polish and it chipped the next day! Now I’m on day 5 and the bottom of my nail is already coming off. Wayyyyy over priced for the quality.

Pedicure was pretty relaxing, but they charged me more than the price that was listed online and at the front desk.

Did a very nice job. Attention to detail. Cuticle oil and hand/wrist massage was nice. Paid $43 for dip powder mani. Cash only for tips. I was a walkin and was taken care of immediately.

I went in to this place for the first time and it seemed good at first but the guy that did my nails was very rough and actually made me bleed and it was painful to get my nails done. They didn’t go all the way to the back of my nails. They gave me a more expensive polish without asking me and after I changed my mind on matte and asked him not to put it on he didn’t hear/listen and still put on matte. And too top it off I was definitely overcharged, I went with friends and paid almost 20 more then them. Very disappointed.

I had my nails done for less then 3 days and they started snapping in half even when i wasn’t being rough with them, i did get them take off for free which was nice

Went in for Christmas nails. He did a good job but he started to rush after awhile. I showed a picture of what I wanted specifically and he said in the beginning he could do it but then changed the whole thing because he was rushing. I felt as though I couldn’t say anything because it was busy. They should focus on the customer who is in front of them because we pay good money for what we want. Nice job but not what I asked for!

This place did a really good job on my nails but i asked them to get the dead skin off my foot durring the pedicure and they didnt get a lot of it off. I was kind of disappointed 😞

The person who did my nails was pushy and wanted me to do what he wanted to do. The other two people there with me got what they wanted and it looked amazing.

I go out of my way to come here. They know how to do dip right! Nice place with nice techs and good massage chairs, too. It’s always peaceful.

I have coming to this nail.salon for almost a year and no one technician has yet to disappoint at this establishment. Everyone at this salon is a perfectionist and it shows. The proof is in the pudding, or nails in this case.

I booked a very last minute shellac appt online and arrived at the salon 10 min early. This was my first time here so I didnt ask for a specific technician. They immediately sat me down and the very kind lady started on my manicure. The only issue I ran into was that they didnt have the chrome color I wanted so I had to choose a different color. The lady (wish I had asked her name), was very thorough but quick as well. My shellac manicure lasted 30 min..maybe less which was perfect! She did a great job considering my nails were all kinds of messed up!

I had tips with gel overlay put on the day prior at a different nail salon in New Berlin, my nails could not have looked more fake, very bulky and thick. I had Jimmy at La Vie I explained my disappointment to him he diligently worked on my nails until I was satisfied. Walked out with natural looking beautiful nails. I will be back!

I love La Vie. I got my nails done for the holidays and realized they were a bit too long to be productive at work. Went back in to have them trimmed down, expecting a ~$10 fee. They shortened my nails with no charge! Great color selection and speedy service. My go to nail salon!

Did a poor job on fingernails and overcharged for both the mani and pedi. Toes look great. Finger nails are different lengths and crooked. Charged me for repairs and two diff shellac manicures when I got dip nails and classic pedicure (overcharged by $17). Standard cuticle trim not included with dip nail price. Two stars for good covid safety measures and toes.

I am new to the area and I have been looking for a good nail salon. I went to La Vie Nails and Spa due to the reviews I read and I they were right. I had a great experience. Eric did my pedicure and he did a fantastic job. John did my SNS and I love them. I highly recommend this place and I will be returning.

Horrible experience. Felt very rush. They didnt even clean up my friends cuticles. During my manicure they ran out of the color I picked and started painting over the old color with the new color. I had to ask for them to start over due to the color change. The original was a light blue and the second was a very light pink so the blue would show right through the pink. While taking off the first color they were rushing and cut me with the file. Overall, not a relaxing night of getting nails done with my friend.

This is the best nail salon. I have been too many and none are as nice of a finished products and long lasting. Pleasant atmosphere and personality. Have never been disappointed.

Made an appointment with Stephanie at 11:30am on a Friday. I arrive at La Vie Nails around 11:20. I walk in and the place is packed, Stephanie working on another client. I sit down and wait since I was early. I am not seated in a chair until 11:50. Still no nail tech has touched my nails. 2 other walk-ins have been seated since I got there. A nail tech becomes free (not Stephanie) and starts working on a walk in. I immediately start grabbing my things and they tell me not to leave and the available nail tech apologizes and comes to start working on my nails at 12pm. 10 or so minutes later, Stephanie finally comes over & starts working on my nails. At 12:30, her next appointment walks in. About 10 minutes later, she’s says “sorry I have another appointment” and leaves to go work on her nails and I receive my THIRD nail tech. As if the appointment I made with her previously was LESS IMPORTANT?! Absolutely horrible customer service and experience. 3 nail techs... really?? Don’t use an appointment service system if you are not going to abide by it. Will never return.

I absolutely love this new La Vie Nails shop. I was so relaxed during my pedicure. I enjoy the fact the spa is staffed with 12 or possibly more associates working. I had individual attention from the person that gave me mine. I dozed off from the relaxing foot massage. The best! Thank you!

LOVE THIS SALON!!!I don’t know about the other reviews, but recently some of the staff are changed recently and the quality of the staff is improving as well.Busy salon even if there are customers waiting but they still honest the wait with you, unlike other salons.Reasonable rates are a big plus, so I’d totally recommend this place :)

My mother-in-law, myself and my 5 year old daughter found this wonderful retreat today for pedicures! All three of us were treated so professionally. They had a special chair for my little girl and made it so special. The environment was so clean and bright. The prices were a great value and the people were so fun and kind. We are definitely going back!

I cant say enough wonderful things about La Vie. Each time I visit, which is on a regular basis for fill and the occasional pedicure, I always ask for Michelle. She is professional and experienced. I receive many compliments on my nails and toes. Michelle does outstanding work on my nails. I am so pleased because I have acrylic and because of her expertise my natural nails are always healthy underneath. I have brought my 7 year old daughter, my good friend Tina and her daughter in for mommy/daughter pedicures. We were treated like royalty and my daughter and her friend said they felt like princesses. Michelle made sure this first time experience for my daughter was so special. My friend Tina has now switched to LA Vie and will be scheduling all her appointments with Michelle. Thank you Michelle for all your amazing work.

This place does a good job when they have time to do a good job. But when they are busy and rushed, it definitely shows through in their work. I ALWAYS get a pedicure and dip manicure on my medium-long natural nails; I’ve gotten beautiful results when the technician(s) take their time and focus. But when they are busy and rushed and just trying to get the next customer in the chair, I’ve had uneven length in nails, poorly shaped nails, etc. Lesson learned from this? Go during the week at the least busy times, I guess.. I’ve yet to find an affordable place around the area I like more. So until then..

I was asked to come back because they were super busy, when I did they had the best disposition. It was super close to closing time on a Sunday (4:15 and they close at 5) I asked if I could get a fast manicure and since I had to wait at least 15 minutes to get the shellac off I asked if I could get a fast pedicure. They said sure! Person helping me ended up talking me into deluxe pedicure which took longer. And then they still did my manicure. They were there well past the closing time. I felt really bad!!! But they were really really nice. They did and awesome job. This was my first time here and I will be coming back even though Ill be moving an hour away but my work is close by.

Had a design done on my nails and it looks better than the picture I showed her! They also have two kid pedicure chairs which are absolutely adorable! I always have a good experience here. Ive probably gotten 10 pedicures and never have a problem. Its always clean and its decorated nicely. I docked one star because it really drives me crazy when you cant tip on a credit card.

Love the set-up, decor and layout. Bathrooms are also clean. You can tell the owners put a lot of work into keeping it festive and clean.

Horrible experience. I was seated and the nail tech came over with food crumbs on his glasses and all over his mouth. It was very very unprofessional looking and disgusted me. Not pleased with how my nails look as the nail tech FILED my nails after painting them! There’s no nail polish now on the sides or front of my nail. He was also very rough on my nails -they were incredibly sore after the appointment and the morning after. Extremely disappointed.

I really do enjoy this place! The staff is great and very friendly. I do prefer Stephanie as my nail tech, she understands my requests and always does an amazing job! I’ve referred people here and I will continue to do so!

I would first like to address the statement that Rachel posted a month ago. Yes, she must have had Vivian. She was the worst person that I have ever had and I swore that I would not be back ever again! I did though reconsider, and went back. I just knew that the other women that I have had in the past were great! I was adamant on NOT GETTING VIVIAN when I made the appointment. After talking with the manager, I was assured that Vivian was FIRED and not to worry. I did find out that she is now working down the street at the Corners of Brookfield. My husband and I have gone back, and have had VERY GOOD services. I would suggest this salon to anyone. We have been to many salons on Bluemound Rd. and surrounding areas. This salon is by far the BEST! Try it out, you will be very pleased!

Stopped in today to get my nails done for my maternity photos. Stephanie is FABULOUS! I asked for blue ombré nails (something Ive never gotten before in fear of it not looking how I imagined) and she executed it perfectly! I also went with a longer style than usual so they would be more noticeable for my photos and she told me if they were too long I could come back at any time and get them cut down. I am beyond happy with this salon! Very friendly staff, great atmosphere! This will definitely be my nail salon from now on!

I normally LOVE this place, but the last time I went my nail polish chipped in less then 24 hours. Also a few of my nails where left ruff. I will try again and hope for my normal experience.

I went in yesterday, 3/15 for a pedicure. This was the first nail salon Ive been to in WI after moving from out of state. I had a pleasant experience but definitely Im sorry, not five star I want to run in coming back.The pedicure regime was quite lovely. Sanitation was stellar minus one time seeing the gal dip the buffing brush into the jar of green stuff on the cart, after using it on my feet and going in for a dip, then using on my my feet again. There were still shaved off calluses on my feet so that may have gotten in the jar.I felt like I wasnt afforded the time to just relax. I felt more unsettled leaving then I did coming in. Constantly getting slap--tap-hitting at my calves for me to raise and lower my feet, really the only time I could relax was when she walked away and left me sit for a bit. For the towel wrap for instance. Bending my legs at awkward positions unneededly to better suit herself when I have a very bad knee.I felt she got upset with me when I had her re-take off my shoes before polish because the nail shaping needed corrected that I hadnt noticed. Not to mention the overly barking at me to sit still when she was doing polish, then kissing up to me at time to pay my bill and tip.She was nice, I dont want to give anyone a bad impression ahead of time that may or may not be just hence why she is just referenced and no name.A very lovey place inside, friendly just didnt hold up to the standards of the reviews for my visit which is why I came there in the first place.

I had good experiences up until today. I referred many there as I thought they did a good job. Today my appointment was for 3:00 with my favorite. I got there and she said no it is tomorrow. I said no it was today, was treated very rudely and will not go back as this was my break time. I now have found a new home I love called GiGi Nails in Brookfield.

Loud the pedicure was not enjoyable tge top of my foot was burned from the steamed towel and the tech had no massage background as my shins and ankles were banged up with her boney fingers and the hot stones she had no experience with. So disappointing. We were supposed to get 20% off as new clients clearly listed in their menu but at check out they took the menu away from us and insisted it was only 10% off. I would not recommend this place at all.

Other places are always super rough with your feet and I leave feeling like my skin is burned off. At La Vie Nails they really take care of you! The technicians and also the Manager names Stephanie who have worked on me are always really skilled, and their prices are comparable to Brookfield area. The only thing I would recommend is bring cash if you can! Amazing service and I love the owner of the place! Very charismatic and cares about his customers. I truly I have no idea how this salon is rated so well, and it was because of their rating on here, that I decided to give them a chance. Bad idea. When I walked into the front door there was a towel bunched up on the mat for customers to trip over. Extremely bad first impression. Secondly I made an appointment with one other person for pedicures. I was waited on almost immediately however the other person I was with didnt start her pedicure until almost 45 minutes after our appointment time and we had to speak up for someone who is about to go on break to come work on her pedicure (the nail tech who had just finished on the ladies across from us wouldve otherwise just walked away and left us sitting there even longer). An overall uncomfortable pedicure. I did not feel like I was well taken care of nor could I relax. The nail tech who worked on my pedicure spent most of the pedicure pushing my feet and pulling my feet out of the water and tapping on my legs. She even told me at one point to put my phone away because she was concerned it would fall in the water I told her it was fine but she insisted I should place it on the table next to me. I did not appreciate being told what to do. On top of all of this, during the cleaning of my cuticles, the nail tech cut open the skin underneath my toe (and it started to bleed).She did not say anything nor did she even simply apologize. I didnt notice the cut she created at first, until she shoved my foot back in the water to try to cover up her mistake - that is when my toe started to sting. For the remaining of the pedicure she continue to put some kind of liquid on top of the cut she created. I had to tell her that it was hurting me in an attempt to make her stop but all she did was giggle and continue to do it. I have been going to many nail salons in this area over the past 10+ years and this is by far the worst experience Ive ever had. I would not recommend as this was a completely unprofessional service and experience.

If I could give zero stars I would. I had my nails done here three different times...every time the acrylic snapped in half not even a week after going in. I went in to get my nail fixed all my nails are square and they made my broken nail rounded and completely unshaped. I would have said something to them to fix it again but I was so sick of correcting them and the terrible job they did. I just will never go back.

I went with two of my friends, and all three of us were disappointed. For me I asked for shellac multiple times and she still somehow ended up giving me gel nails, she also gave me the wrong color twice, one of my friends got the wrong color and the man clipped them too short, and my last friend got the wrong color as well. :(( 10/10 do not recommend
