Rebecca is the best! She altered my daughters wedding dress and did a fabulous job!! My daughter was gorgeous and her dress fit beautifully! Rebecca also altered my mother of the bride dress and the final result was awesome; she even had enough left-over material to create a wrap to match my dress! Cant say enough good things about Rebecca!

Rebecca was absolutely wonderful. I came to her in a bond after my first alterations on my wedding dress were done incorrectly. I came on Sunday, and needed it done by Friday at the latest. Sunday I went in for the measurements and by Sunday night/Monday morning she had already finished a good portion of my dress. I went in again Tuesday to get new straps measured for the dress and it was already gorgeous. In all she had to do a double hem, replace the trim on the bottom (because the previous seamstress took off HALF of the beautiful lace trim), add in a bustle, and added straps (the first seamstress made the removable straps at least 2 inches too short, the clips were put on the wrong side and upside down). All in all she was amazing and I will always go to her for anything I have and will definitely recommend her to anyone that needs alterations.

I bought my dress online and thought perhaps I needed alterations. Meet Rebecca and instead of charging me a fee, she showed me how to smooth the lace and gave me suggestions for under garments. Amazing lady! I am sure glad there are still honest people out there! Thank you Rebecca

Rebecca was friendly, seemed committed to making us happy, and her prices are very affordable, but the quality was a real problem in my case. I think its worth noting that there are different levels of tailoring quality out there, with prices to match. Some people say that a rolled hem is the only way to go, while Rebecca used a fancy serger to do a hem on my dress. For cost-conscious folks, that may be a good choice - rolled hems arent cheap, and I mostly thought the serged hem looked fine (though there were other problems with the hem). I could see her services being worthwhile for some alterations, but gambling on my wedding dress wasnt a good idea.Whole story: I brought in my wedding dress, which was technically a white bridesmaid dress with a gauzy outer layer and a silkier inner layer. She didnt seem to take very good notes, because a couple times we agreed on a change and it wasnt done when I returned. In some cases that worked out - for example, we agreed shed adjust the strap style, but with one of the other changes she made, I ended up liking the original style okay. Another time she was going to add in cups but didnt, which worked out because she did it at the same time as the hem. But the whole project ended up requiring 6 trips, and it got more and more frustrating. The big problem was the hem. We agreed on only a small difference in the length of the inner and outer layer, but she cut the inner layer quite short. I could live with that, but the outer layer was uneven. I suspect this is because she didnt measure from the floor and mark the hem line on the dress itself all the way around. (It looked to me like she only measured in a couple spots; I could be wrong about this, but the bottom line is that it wasnt straight!) It was already higher than I wanted in some places, but it was most important to me that it be symmetrical. So I asked her to make that final adjustment, and came back a week later to find nothing done. It sounded like she forgot my dress still needed work and only made the final changes on my moms dress. By this point, it was a week before my wedding and I was frustrated, sick of driving 30 minutes to her every week, and not confident it would get fixed well. So I said Id take the dress and find someone else to fix the hem. When I found someone who was willing to see me last minute, they basically said it was unfixable, since it was already too high in some places and a proper rolled hem would make it even higher. We were getting creative about adding a strip of some other kind of fabric when I decided to give up and use a different dress I’d ordered previously. I’d changed my mind about using the first dress I ordered because I was worried about flashing something on the dance floor, but given the situation, I decided to pick it up 3 days before the wedding and have the new tailor hem and adjust it for me. She was so precise, got all the measurements just so and had me in and out in one visit, which provided a counterpoint to me as far as the price/quality continuum I mentioned above. (It cost a lot more than Rebeccas services!)Meanwhile, Rebecca heard how unhappy we were from a third party and reached out. Rebecca offered to drive to us and do whatever it took to fix the problem. I decided to use the first dress I ordered for most of the wedding and the dress Rebecca tailored for dancing. My mom painstakingly marked the correct hem, from the floor all the way around, and asked Rebecca to sew the line as marked with her serger and return it to us. She did this, and in the end it worked great to use both dresses. So its a happy ending, and I do genuinely appreciate Rebeccas commitment to do what she could to fix the problem. And, if I didnt have that extra dress waiting in the wings, I would have ended up very disappointed. (Hem was ultimately straighter but too high.) As it was, it was incredibly stressful to troubleshoot my dress(es) literally the day before the wedding.

Rebecca did a great job altering my bridesmaids dress and listened to what I wanted.
