I find the girls at the front desk very sweet and likable and the same thing with the girls that help you get ready for the dentist to come along. The dentist is a very nice young man he always makes sure that youre feeling okay no pain. And not uncomfortable. I would recommend Dr dental to anyone. And they work with me and my insurance so that I can get away with a minimal cost if any thank you all at Dr dental

This office has slowly gone downhill. The receptionist is absolutely unprofessional. I called to let them know I would be running a bit late, and was given an attitude from the beginning. When I arrived at the office (in the timeframe before needing to reschedule due to their policy), the receptionist I had spoken to prior didnt acknowledge me ONCE. I stood there at the desk for over 10 minutes, waiting to be checked in. No, Ill be with you in a moment. Nothing. It was not until after 10 plus minutes before the assistant came out to grab me from the back. Honestly, not a good look for the face of your business.

I love coming here, it’s convenient. And I love the staff. The girls there are amazing and always help me and get me in as fast as possible.

From the reception desk to the technician to the dentist, everyone was so nice and mindful of my disabilities. The whole atmosphere was calming as I am not comfortable with dentists. They gave me a quick diagnosis and came up with a plan for going forward. I would recommend

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I went in for a visit in pain left with a referral to oral surgeon. Went to oral surgeon, came back to Dr. Dental when I was healed from the oral surgeon. Now in worse pain than I was in to begin with. Now I am being told the first dentist I saw referred me to have the wrong teeth taken out, and now I need to go back to oral surgeon to have more teeth removed. I called to let the dentist know I can not be seen by another oral surgeon til the end of the month. And told them Im in pain and I think my tooth is infected. They told me that they wouldnt prescribe a antibiotic that I would have to just deal with the pain. This is definitely malpractice. Do not go to this dentist.

If youre in a pinch and you need someone who is willing to figure insurance, Ive had more than just one good experience here. I went to another place in between them because the other place was able to get me in faster, but that proved to be a mistake for multiple reasons. Just save yourself the trouble unless you have the money to spare.

I was extremely pleased with my visit @ Dr Dental today!!! I’m not a fan of the dentist, as I don’t think many people are, but the nurse I had was Fantastic!!!! & the Dentist was also Great!!!! I let him know I wasn’t a fan lol & he was still GREAT !!! Going back on Friday for alittle work to be done & also to Dr James ( have been to hun before) for an extraction. Not having been to the dentist in years and having several issues with my teeth I was very nervous to go for the first time but everyone here was so welcoming and personable, they made the entire experience better than I could have thought. The girls at the front desk try to get you in as quickly as possible and always reach out if an earlier appointment opens up. Dr. Kumar made my entire experience (3 root canals) entirely painless and they even helped work with my insurance to have my procedures completely covered ! Ashley and Renee were so sweet ! I know anytime I have a dental issue, Dr. Dental will be my first call!

As a mom and a nurse, I am so picky with Doctors and Dentists that checks my kids. We keep going back to Dr. Dental because of their unbiased approach to their customers. Every one was amazing from setting up appointment to arriving and only about a 2 minutes wait, Dr Kumar their new dentist has a calming presence about him, he was gentle and explained what he was going to do. He answered my questions respectfully. Prior dentist in Thomaston, said my tooth needs to be pulled and deep periodontal cleanings needed both not covered by my insurance or not done in their office.I chose to leave Dr. Dental 2 years ago and was hesitant about returning. Wow, a whole new group of very professional and friendly staff, so glad that I went and my follow up care I am actually looking forward to.Only a positive experience with Dr. Dental in Bristol CT, and I highly recommend their office

The place is nice. The place follows the guidelines for safety from Covid-19. The staff are just fabulous. And Dr. Kumar is the best! I went there for fillings and i have a bad anxiety, he told me the steps whats going to happen and what i should feel. I can say I never ever had that smooth dental work like what Dr. Dental did. I have insurance but they said it was down then made me pay out of pocket. I had 12 weeks of calling and got nothing back from them until today when they said they had gotten the money and would send me a check right away This is not an ethical practice and their business acumen is trash. Not to mention I had to go back to have a filling they did fixed and now I am having issues with it AGAIN. STEER CLEAR!

It’s a #REVOLVING_DOOR_CAREER, I get it. But having my whole family under your care is different. I bring my family with assurances that they would be seeing on time. Prior to us getting there 15 minutes early! 8/5 had a double appointment, easily Dr. sees both of my children. 8/6/2019 today was different, our neighbor to our left? Was there for her 4:30pm appointment, where she met us at 5:15pm and still not seeing.This is how I will say, front and manager needs to take a look at her morning staff till the afternoon which is supposed to secure the ending shift Friday afternoon staff. Which makes appointments smoother and easier! But if the morning staff does not do their job and stay up with the appointments? The afternoon staff has to take the #SHTICK of the morning staff slack! Which makes every appointment in the afternoon very late from 45 minutes to an hour wait.Might I add one dentist!This is just a review for the front and manager which she knows of this review! To tighten up the ship and straighten up staff! If not you will be replaced just asked the staff that will come after you!

I have visited several dentists in the past and Dr Dental has been the best so far. The branch in Bristol CT is very clean and the staff were very nice and accommodating. I definitely plan on going back.

Consider this an update from my previous review, but with subsequent appointments being handled much more efficiently and with a lot of care and general satisfaction, I can safely say I recommend Dr. Dental. Nobody is perfect, of course, but my needs were taken care of and I would not hesitate to return in the future.

I had an appointment made for a root canal. I get a call 2 days later to reschedule - no big deal. We agree on a time. I get another phone call the next day, confirming my appointment for a different day than what she scheduled. Even though I took a day off from work, I was still able to make it - so no big deal. I get a voicemail the day of my appointment, telling me they had to reschedule my noon appointment (my appointment was at 3pm), because of the holiday. When I called back, they said the doctor was sick. Needless to say, I did not reschedule and will go somewhere else. And not to mention, the doctor has ZERO bedside manner - dont assume all of your patients dont have dental insurance and cant pay their bill. Plus, there was garbage on the floor of the exam room. Get your act together.

Workers and doctors werent the most personable, and of course take this review with a pinch of salt, but it upsets me that they referred me for a root canal evaluation. Im 23 years old and I brush daily and I fail to see why small signs of decay from an x-ray and a possible cavity lead to a root canal evaluation for two teeth.The positives were that it was a quick and relatively painless cleaning; other dentists have caused harsh ringing in my ears and lots of blood to gush from my gums.Again, I stress that this review may not seem fair. It is simply how Im currently feeling.UPDATE: Subsequent visits have remedied my previous issues with the business. I got a second opinion, fillings, and am good to go for the foreseeable future. You can call me a satisfied customer with healthier teeth.

Really good place!!! Good costumer service too. From the minute you enter the door till you leave they treat you with a very friendly smile. Dr. Kim did a wonderful job doing the clean up for me and my mom. Shes excellent at her job. Her assistance did a great job with the x rays too. I highly recommend this place. Really upset. Going there for visits was one of the most pleasant experiences someone could have. I was genuinely impressed by receptionists, dental assistants and the dentists. Unfortunately, I guess you get what you pay for. I pay for dental work out of pocket, so I found the place that would charge the least. I had cavities on my front teeth, so I had to have my gap covers replaced along with the fillings. One month after, one of the gap covers came off almost entirely - since it was 1 month, they replaced it for free, which was stressful, but nice of them. Now its approx 6-8 months later and the other one has cracked. I had gap covers in previously and they both stayed put with no issues for 8 years... why are these literally crumbling?! Now, do I go and pay for a new gap cover out of pocket or do I stay looking awkward as if I have a cracked front tooth? Really unfair to be in this situation.

I had an 8:00 a.m. appointment for a cleaning. I wasnt called into the exam room until 8:40 a.m. because their W. Htfd office didnt send over my x-rays from a prior appointment! Then Im told by the dentist that they have to take more x-rays! I told the dentist that I had a doctors appointment @ 10 a.m. She assured me that I would be out by 9:30. She didnt come back to do the cleaning until 9:15 and never apologized for making me wait!!!Needless to say, I just barely made it to my appointment!I will never go back!!!!!

The entire staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The full-mouth x-rays were difficult to endure partly because I have a very small mouth, but they were administered by Kyle in a courteous and professional way. I am grateful to have found a dental practice that accepts Medicaid and I will definitely return to Dr. Dental for all of my dental needs.

This place is awful. Never again will I go here. I told the receptionist that I had a cold. I needed to reschedule. So I did it for the next day because she told me I would be fine. I got there. They were so concern about me getting them sick, which I get. However, they proceeded to take my ex-rays. Made me wait. Then told me they couldnt do anything because I had a cold. This place is disgusting and needs to be cleaned. They staff were not friendly. Never again will I go here.

I love the dentist, she is very hard working and seems they are running her very thin with appointments. Theres always a 30 to 60 min wait and she is just going room to room. Your buisness either needs one more dentist to keep up with clients or dont over book her to make the patients upset and walk out. Once again i like the dentist and the office but they really need to not over book their one dentist.

Had an appointment last Thursday at 8 went down told me my dentist wasnt in that day that they had another dr.their but couldnt take me cause the other atien . I honestly think they were lying to me and no dr. was their cause it was icy that morning . How they had to say was no one came in cause weather was bad that would have be ok. Why make appt with someone if dr. not their.bad business.

Today is my first visit to Dr. Dental, i was referred by my daughter who has been here on numerous occasions. From the second I walked in the door I was greeted by the most beautiful smile from the receptionist, Carolyn, she was so sweet and so warm and friendly, i immediately felt at ease as i was very nervous hadnt seen a dentist in over 20 years...Ewa the dental assistant saw I was nervous and she made me laugh and was very personable....Dr. Lee understood and answered every question I had...I will now be bringing my 3 boys here because they are all so amazing!!!

Ive been going here for a good while now. For the first half every appointment wait, well over a half hour past my appointment time. I will say everyone is very nice and courteous. Dr. Aurora was outstanding. And always thanked me for my patience in waiting and waiting In between and during procedures. This year I guess a new policy is to constantly remind a customer of their appointments before the day comes. And no one told me if I dont confirm EVERY reminder call I will loose my appointment slot. Which okay annoying more so because no one told me that was the policy. I had an appointment today; at the last minute my endocrinologist told me I should hold off on my fillings until my thyroid medication has calmed down my thyroid enough. In order to remain less sick ... The medicine itself can wipe out my immune system w no warning, leaving me unable to go anywhere. Apparently this was not a good enough explanation. So if I wish to make an appointment with them again, I would be treated as a walk in, and could face wait time up to an hour or so...really? As if when I first started going to you the hour waits (not being a walk in) was bad enough. Now a legit medical reason I get this? Sorry youre not the only game in town .... And you go though doctors like McDonalds .....

One of the most horrific experiences I have had. I had a tooth extracted, and i was in pain for most of it. I told the doctor and she would just pause for few seconds. She completely missed the correct nerve cluster with the novacaine, so my front lip was numb but the area she was working on was only like 80% numb (which is not enough when they are hacking in your mouth for an hour!)I wouldn’t recommend anyone use this place!
