I brought my watch in to be regulated, and William was very helpful and walked me through everything he was doing, letting me watch the process. He also was able to identify what might be causing the accuracy problems and what to look out for in the future. Very good experience, it is clear William takes pride in his work.

So let me tell you a quick story... I just moved from Los Angeles so I didnt really know much about watch repair shops around here. This is the 2nd watch shop and probably be the go to choice. The first is around my job and I got ripped off. Anyways, It was Thursday morning when I really needed to change a battery for my watch and I went there about 9.50 and the shop supposed to open at 10 Nonetheless, I went knocking and the owner opened the door for me and I was in a hurry bc I needed to get to work by 11 so I told him it needed a battery change and Ill pick it up tomorrow morning. First, he didnt want to take it as he told me that a lot of people came and left their watches there. Then he continued, if you want to leave it here he wanted a $20 deposit. My first thought after he said that was Im about to get ripped off again...BUT suddenly he changed his mind and just let me left it there without any deposit.The next day picked it up and he only charged me $10, which is the usual price for a battery change. So thank you for doing business with honesty, fairness, and professionalism. Keep it up and youll have a lot of royal customers. As long as Im staying in this state, Ill take my business to him.🙏

I had a 1990s Rolex Explorer 14270 that had not been serviced for several years. I am young watch enthusiast and Will did an incredible job walking me through exactly what he thought needed to be done to my watch. He even showed me another watchs movement and explained exactly how he was going to take apart the watch and what the servicing did to make the watch run better. He answered all of my questions, sent me pictures as he was taking apart my timepiece, and was very patient with me. I am glad that there is a watchmaker in the New Haven/Bridgeport area that rivals the big name jewelers and is a reminder of what true watchmaking is. Thanks Will!

I stopped in this weekend to replace the battery on my Michele watch, the owner was very nice, professional and most importantly knowledgeable of my timepiece.

Very friendly, honest and fast service.After reading many positive reviews, I believed William to be the one that I wanted to work on my watch. As soon as I arrived, William tested the watch and stated that it was working well and within one hour, he took care of all my other concerns. I was ready to go all out, as far as expenses go, and he could have easily taken this novice watch collector to the cleaners, (he could have taken advantage of me) but instead, he was honest, to the point and showed passion for his work. I also loved his/coworkers friendly dog companion that greeted me at the door. The watch now looks as good as new. I smile every time I look at it and to think that it was once my grandfathers, and given to me by my dad (who jokingly says he wants it back after seeing how great it looks from the picture I sent).

I had a watch that had taken on water and rusted, and William repaired it and cleaned it up really well. Its better now than it ever was. He was great about explaining things and showing me what was going on with the watch, and his shop is comfortable and interesting. Great value, and high quality work. I will definitely go back if I need any other repairs and when Im interested in purchasing other watches in the future.

Hi I’m Denell and William overhauled my grandfathers WW2 Rolex. I thought the watch was a rusted mess but William restored it and manufactured new parts to complete the restoration. I am thrilled. I was there to pickup my watch when this Stunna Paris [negative review] was there harassing William over a counterfeit Rolex; that William seemed reluctant to work on; William told him parts were unavailable and that he could not repair the watch as quickly as this customer insisted. William said that he had 30 customers already ahead of him. Stunna’s response was; “this is BS”. I was offended that this self entitled person off the street tried to jump ahead of me insisting that he had a flight to catch to Barbados. I am impressed with William’s calm and the way he handled the situation. I am sorry that such a dedicated and good craftsman needs to be subjected to customers such as this that do not appreciate the watch that they have nor the skill and talent of the watchmaker that we have.

Great service, very knowledgeable and fantastic attention to detail. Swapped out a movement on one of my Seiko watches and the work couldnt have been better. Will keep coming back here for any service or work!

Automatic Wristwatch maintenance and care is a dying art so to find someone that serviced my vintage Rolex to a very high standard for less than half the price of the main dealer whilst still keeping me informed on the update of the service, the sourcing of parts and reassembly was fantastic.

William went above and beyond from what I expected for my visit, friendly service and the results speak for itself. My wrist piece has never looked or fitted better. Now a customer for life and would recommend to anyone.

I gave my circa 1885 Repeater Pocket Watch worth about $20000 to William for service overhaul and restoration. William performed a museum quality restoration and manufactured many parts by hand. He made a new ratchet wheel, pivots, mainsprings, jewels, arbors and brought the watch to new time keeping condition. He sent me informative photos of the process by text and shared his labor every step of the way. I would share that William is a Master Watchmaker, craftsman, machinist and artist. I am very happy with what he accomplished.

Fantastic experience. Without an appointment, I walked in and was greeted by Will. My Rolex was running insanely fast and the last watchmaker I brought it to for fixing (a guy who used to service watches for Rolex) couldn’t fix the problem. Will immediately took my watch and started working right in front of me, and described what he was seeing and gave me a bit of education on my watch. He knew exactly what model of movement it was just by looking at it, and within a few minutes had found two problems that were contributing to the issue. He recentered the hair spring and removed a ton of excess oil on the pallet fork. He charged me a very fair price. Now, my watch runs perfectly. It’s clear this guy is the real deal; there are a lot of phonies out there like the guy in New York who wasted my time and money on a job he couldn’t do. If you want to real work done go to Will. I look forward to using him in the future and will be using him for my next Rolex service.

I recently brought in a watch to have looked at and possibly be repaired. This watch was given to my uncle from my aunt during World War ll. When he examined the watch, even without opening it, he said that whoever owned this watch had it serviced every five years. How would he know this? Then he says that he would have to service the whole watch. I responded by saying, “ok”. I then I asked him if he would kindly give me an estimate. He then quoted me a price of $ 200.00. I said, “that’s a little more than I wanted to spend”. After I said that, he turned around and said with an attitude, “well I guess this watch is of no sentimental value to you then”. He was very rude throuout the whole time I was there. That is something you do not say to a customer. Wouldn’t it have more appropriate if he had said, “thank you for stopping into our shop”, or something to that effect. I do not recommend this watch maker. First impression, is the last impression.

William repaired a few watches for me, and i was very impressed with his attention to detail and personal service. His facility is very comfortable and you feel at home.I eventually purchased one of his NAUGAMATIC dive watches and it is of the very highest quality. I couldnt think of a better place to direct people to for quality watch sales, manufacture and service!Stop in and see what is happening.

I was Awarded as a token of my years of service to my Company a Baume Mercier 14K Watch; with an inscription on the back about me. Needless to say a cherished timepiece. I brought it in pieces to William after leaving it in my jeans by mistake; washing and drying them. I brought the pieces to William who through time; patience and perseverance restored back to new. I cant say enough good things about Williams; patience expertise friendly manner; truly qualities you dont often see in the high end Mall type Jewelry store. He is truly a Master at his craft and chosen trade.

Naugamatic serviced my fathers Rolex and repaired the broken threads of the case. It was damaged by Rolex. We sent the watch to Naugamatic and they surgically repaired the watch and restored it to as new condition and factory operation. These guys are watchmakers and dial makers and micro machinists. There are leather club chairs for the customers in a museum quality setting while the technicians work under their loupes with patience and ease. I ask them to perform the impossible and the boss says SURE.
