This is the BEST Tower location in Tampa, hands down and I have been to most of them. There are other good ones around town too, but the staff here are always top notch. Never heard anyone with a bad attitude, despite the last 19 months of insanity. I am grateful to live near this location!

They had to do a Mammogram on my right breast because it didn’t show clearly on the first Mammogram. The technician was very nice and pleasant and gentle. I hope I have her every year. She was knowledgeable and caring.

I just had a barium swallow here. I have difficulty eating and drinking liquids, especially thick ones. I told the technician before the test that I was concerned about being able to swallow the barium, and sure enough, I had difficulty during the test, so much so that we had to stop and start over with the doctor present. I was told repeatedly to Swallow better, or swallow more, even though I was having an extremely hard time. There was a total lack of compassion for my problem. Its like telling a person who cant walk to get up and walk around, or a person with arthritis to extend their arm when they cant. If someone cant do something, they cant. Fussing at them or admonishing them will not fix that. I know its hard for people without dysphagia to understand, because for them its such an automatic process, but when something goes wrong with that process, things are extremely hard. The whole experience was traumatizing, and I left in tears. I really wish healthcare in this country was more compassionate and understanding.

They refused to see me and cancelled my appointment 25 minutes prior. They wont let me take care of my own body and want me to run around to 3 different doctors and waste god knows how much money, when they have the tools and capabilities to give me what I ACTUALLY need. Despite the fact I have insurance and am willing to pay the remainder, they refuse to help.

Got an appointment very quickly. The receptionist that made my appointment was very nice and helpful. The technician was amazing. I am very claustrophobic, so I was quite anxious about doing this. She was very calming and explained everything to me. A very good experience! Thank you.

The doctor and nurses were so kind to me when I had to get a Stereotactic biopsy. The needles hurt and one of the nurses held my hand the whole time. I did not expect this. I highly recommend.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION, I checked in early through the text message they sent and pre-filled out all of my forms including uploading documents such as referrals, insurance cards, and drivers license. I waited for 45 for them to say they never received my information through their virtual check in service and wait another 30 minutes. When I asked the front desk rep for corporate number SHE DECLINED and said she did not know. These people are very inconsiderate and unprofessional. Don’t set up text message registration if you are not equipped to receive the information your patients complete. I had to wait from 5:30-7:30pm just to be SCANNED for an MRI. This appointment took over a week just to schedule and this happens! Do not come here!

Every time I go there, Im treated with respect & most of the employees are very friendly & professional. There are only a couple of them who are polite, but I realize theyre hard working & have to deal with a lot of clueless or rude people. I see it & hear it every time I go. Such a huge difference to what I went through at the Riverview location. Best service EVER at a facility like this. Everyone I had contact with was pleasant, friendly and helpful. And the mammogram technician, Linda, was the best Ive ever dealt with. She showed that she actually cares about her patients and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and not in pain. Best part of the visit, I was out of there 15 mins from my appointment start time.

After having an horrendous experience in the Riverview location, the Tower customer service people arranged a reschedule in Brandon, who were absolutely professional and safe. They have a great setup, all wore masks, and chairs were six feet apart. Staff and technicians were all mindful of customers needs. Would absolutely go back.

I had a question about nursing my son afyer getting an MRI. The reception staff were very rude, short and angry with me that they were uninformed on how to advise the people they are working with. They got upset and rushed me off. The people performing the MRI were very patient, educated and friendly. Staff could use more training on what to inform patients of for after a radiation treatment. If it was based on the reception I WOULD NEVER come back here.The answer to my question was....since I didnt need injections I am ok to breastfeed my son. ..it wasnt hard and should have been easy for reception to respond without getting upset that they had no idea what I was talking about. You would think working in a medical field the staff would have some knowledge of the dangers of breastfeeding after receiving an MRI.My baby will always be worth asking questions for and the women in the building were the absolute least Happy with answering my question. Shame on all of these grandmas. I would hope they care for their family much better than they do their patients.

I didnt gave this location a five star because the receptionists at the front desk always ask me to fill out the same information that should have already stored on file. As a recurring patient I should not have to spent 15-20 minutes filling paperwork instead we should just verify the information previously submitted for changes or corrections.

Maybe listing that an appointment is recommended would help. I show up here after a 2 hour drive just to be told this doctor “stopped taking” xrays and is behind. What a waste of time. You’d be better off just going to another clinic. Mind you, I called ahead and the receptionist said that this location was the only one doing EKGs on Saturdays. This ALSO would have been good information to include.Update: you can’t even schedule these appointment ahead of time. So I’m not even sure why she asked me that.

Excruciating experience. In this time of Covid19, the waiting area was full even though spaced out. The 3 outside benches were in use. I had a two oclock appointment, arrived at 1:30 for paper work, and sat until 2:35 waiting to be called. At this point, I told the representative that I would reschedule. I felt unsafe, and that the facility had overbooked with little regard to patients safety which is their responsibility. Then could not locate a customer care representative to report this mismanagement.

Waited until 10 minutes prior to my appointment to ask if I had the Dr.s order for the MRI that I waited forever to get scheduled. Dr. never gave me a piece of paper, all was done electronically. If I would have been notified with more than 10 minutes of preparation time, I could have gotten the information prior to my appointment. I will seek imaging elsewhere and will not recommend Tower Radiology to anyone.

Probably one of the worse places I have ever had to deal with. They have no clue how to look up insurance and I waited 45 mins to schedule an appt. The billing department is probably just as bad and don’t know how to look up insurance as well. Please save yourself the time and hassle and go somewhere else. The people that work here are very rude.

This lady taking the temperature has a horrible attitude. She called an old man este viejo in a derogatory way SAD. I understand is hard to deal with people at times, but the people the go to your facility dont go there to hang out. If she dont have patience to work in the medical field find another job.

I am new to the state of Florida and am still in the process of navigating through life here. That includes getting hooked up with good medical services. ~~ For an exceptionally busy facility, especially one with such a variety of imaging options, I had to give Tower Radiology Center (427 Parsons Ave., Brandon FL) a Top A rating. With three different procedures to be done that day and seeing a completely full parking lot outside, I honestly expected an annoying and long drawn-out afternoon with equally annoying and overworked employees. Not the case at all. I entered an efficiently running beehive of activity with a smooth-flowing operation in place. After being greeted by an alert receptionist at the door, my new-patient processing was quickly completed and I was directed to a waiting area with a TV. In a few brief minutes my name was called and I was escorted back to begin. Each employee had their part to do in the back of the house, and they were all efficient and courteous. They ensured that my questions were answered quickly. The equipment was state-of-the-art (including a new 3D mammogram machine). A patient appreciates knowing that the equipment will provide the best and most accurate findings for them. On to the next unit for additional imaging. I was escorted and never felt lost or overwhelmed. I felt appreciated actually. Shortly, I was on my way home and noticed that I was still smiling. ~~ Thank you to the staff at Tower. Ill be back.

I have been to several tower locations over the years. Last Saturday was my first visit to the 427 Parsons Ave. location.Even though they did not officially open till 8 AM, The doors were unlocked so you were able to go in and register. That in itself it was a pleasant experience. I was also greeted by a friendly staff. There were a few People ahead of me But my wait time Was under 5 minutes.Debbie, Who was from Bushnell and filling in For someone at this location, was extremely personable and helpful as she was taking my information and getting me started. We were joined by Amy another courteous And knowledgeable employee.I was introduced to Brandon the x-ray technician. I was very impressed by him. I believed him to be The age of my oldest grandchild. And even though there was that much of an age difference I was immediately put at ease. It was obvious he has been around a lot of patience and very experienced at his job. He even help me with my necklaces I should not of even had on. He was more than glad to help.This Facility stood out And should be an example Of good Customer service and quality care.Thank you all at 427, your will be my choice again next time. Happy New Year

Dr kumm and tech Tricia and nurse Vicki were absolutely wonderful. I had to have a breast biopsy and was so nervous . The team from start to finish was fabulous. They made me feel like family. Talking to and telling me everything thing they were doing . The doctor was so professional and so gentle. He was amazing and I felt so comfortable and had no pain during or after. Thank you fir making me feel secure and safe.

Had a procedure scheduled and after speaking with the facility, they did not give me all of the information. Had to have a contrast dye to drink. So I show up and they ask if I drank it, said no and they made me come back instead of giving it to me and drinking it then. Gave a week after last part of procedure and no response of films being delivered and no way to get in to portal. Tried calling and phone just rang then hung up. Wont go back to this provider again.

I dont think Tower is proving the righ training to their technicians. As everyone knows Covid 19 can be transmitted by touching the face as well. Well I have to do an X rays in this facility, but the experience was awful. The technician asked me to take the mask out, I ask for a mask without metal...She said we dont have it, but the most worried me is that she touch my face to put me in a position. She should ask me first or change at least her gloves. Everything was to fast. I couldnt stop her. She was rude during the entire procedure. TOWER administrator, please provide mask without metal during procedures and provide more training how to deal with patients during the pandemia. This is a different circumstances!!!

Updated Sept. 10, 2020It looks like now they are giving you the visit form already filled with our info. We need to only update it if needed and sign.Thank you Tower Radiology for making it better.Staff and service procedures are great. My only concern is having to fill the same form updating our personal info on every visit within a week, month, etc. of visits. I would understand if its been a year but everyday or everytime is too much paper and time consuming for your employees and patients. Can you all please have our info on file and asks us if theres been a change.

My 6 yr old daughter had a kidney and bladder ultrasound last Thursday. The bladder scan required her to drink fluid and hold it for the test. Her appointment was at 3pm, we arrived approximately 10 min early, we registered and waited. 30 min went by and my daughter needed to use the bathroom. I walked up to the receptionist and asked her if she knew how much longer it would be because my daughter had to use the bathroom. She asked if she could pee a little bit and then hold the rest, I informed her she was 6 and was not able to do that. She said it wouldnt be much longer. Im not sure how she knew it wouldnt be much longer when she never contacted anyone to ask. We waited another 5 min, my daughter was dancing because she had to use the bathroom urgently. This time I asked the girls at the registration if they could find out how much longer it was going to be because my daughter could not hold it. One of the girls walked in the back, returned a few minutes later, and said it should not be too much longer, they were cleaning the table. 10 min later the tech came out to get her for the test. Im not sure why it took 10 minutes to clean the table. When she asked how we were doing, I responded that if she didnt hurry up she was going to have a puddle of pee to clean up in the floor because we have waited over 45 minutes for the test. She looked at me like I was crazy, no apology, nothing. During the test when it was time for my daughter to empty her bladder, she laid back on the table and the tech began to scan her again and stated she still had urine in her bladder, I informed her that yes, that is why we are here because she has urinary issues and that is why it is upsetting that we had to wait over 45 minutes to have the scan. 45 minutes is unacceptable to have to wait for this test, if anyone has had this test, its hard enough for an adult to hold their urine, let alone a 6 yr old with kidney/bladder issues. I am very upset about this situation. I will never return to any Tower Radiology because they have no respect for the patient, their time, their concerns, plus they look like a run down, filthy building. You definitely dont want to touch anything in there and some of the patients in there look pretty shady. I will definitely be going to St Joe Hospital affiliations in the future, so much nicer, so much quicker, and their staff if so much more professional.

Horrible service! Went in for x-rays. Called to make an appt and was told that it was walk in only. Was directed to kiosk, and it was not working. Got a LOT of attitude from the receptionist. After being there for over an hour and being told at 3 pm that I was #6, 10-15 ppl was taken back before I asked at 355 where I was in the list. I asked for the manager and was told it would be just a sec. 10 minutes ago. This place has no concept of service standards. Saw a lot of cutting up among the staff. The manager walked by my twice and still did say boo.

Ive been here many times and each time my only complaint is the front desk receptionist where you sign in.I understand busy and dealing with people so the first few times I just thought maybe she was having a bad day. But Geesh..she either has LOTS of bad days or shes not a people person and has a skill set that should be used elsewhere. Shes not the welcoming how may I help you type. Shes very curt and just plain unpleasant and rude. Once you get past her the wait isnt awful and the rest of the experience is what you would expect if you dont have super high expectations.

The facilities and service here are all first rate. The wait was minimal (including paperwork) for my first visit. I am also a quadriplegic so needed to be removed from my electric wheelchair for the MRI that was required. I did have my CNA with me but two of the MRI technicians (Dennis and James I believe) did all the heavy lifting to get me onto the cart for the MRI. They also helped get me back into my wheelchair when it was all over.The whole thing was quick and painless. I would recommend this place to anybody, including those that are in electric wheelchairs, especially because some places wont even want to deal with people in electric wheelchairs.Great experience!

I need to get in ASAP for an MRI, for one my symptoms were getting worse and two my insurance was changing at the beginning of the year and I already had my deductible and out of pocket met. The parsons facility fit me in at the last minute on New Year’s Eve even though they were closing early! Such a blessing and I’m so thankful! Thank you Ben and your awesome staff at parsons!

Just awful! I would give it a zero if I could.The staff is cold the place looks awful.They ask people turn off their phones but it’s okay for someone to be munching on a big sandwich in the waiting area. It was like sitting at a bus depot and NOT a professional care facility. Management needs to make some major changes.The t.v. sets could not be heard and the magazines were almost 10 years old. (After we had such a bad flu season, you would think they would at least replace the much handled magazines for medical reasons.)I am here today because they had no tech working last week when I was originally scheduled and cancelled my appointments.Today it took almost 2 hours of waiting for them to hand me pill to swallow. It was very obvious they had forgotten about me and I still need to return to Tower in a few hours. I am not looking forward to coming back here.They really should be ashamed. No way to run a business or a professional medical facility.I am beyond disgusted.....Find a better place to go if you can.

Worst scheduling departure in Florida! Extremely rude. Do yourself a favor go somewhere else! the insurance verification process takes weeks! They will call you to reschedule only to transfer you to scheduling department, instead of making the changes themselves. The have a long hold time only for the scheduling to be rude as if you are interrupting something else. you can hear every word being said from other schedulers. I say HIPPA violation! Over heard a couple of names of other patients as I was attempting to make my own appointment. Only to find out tower cancelled my appointment without notification, in addition of scheduling the incorrect time.... oh thats because the person doesnt listen. WORST!

If I could rate this place a 0 I would. I’ve had 2 horrible experiences at this place. The staff is so incompetent it’s sad. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to take their children here for any type of testing. Ultrasound tech Becky is horrible and completely unprofessional. It doesn’t matter if there is only 1 person in the waiting area... they will still make you wait an hour past your appointment time. Avoid this place!
