Amy is amazing and her attention to detail is the kind a veteran gets enjoyment from. She is super sweet and a fast mover. As far as prices, she is under charging. She is way better than the low fee she will advertise.

My husband got a great haircut. She was efficient, professional, and he left the barbershop totally satisfied. Usually he has to wait in line, but this is a testament as to how popular she is with the guys who go there. He has gone there for several years, and knows he will be happy with the results.

I waited in traffic to get my hair cut only to discover that Amy didn’t arrive for work. The shop was supposed to open at 8:00 and at 9:10 no one had arrived. Another gentleman and I waited for another 10 minutes but no one arrived.

These 2 ladies are amazing. I drive almost 90 miles every month just to have my hair cut. The extras like the hot shave just finish off a great cut.

Ive been to Great Clips, Sport Clips, etc, etc. I prefer avoiding those chains and go to barber shops because I enjoy getting a straight edge after a cut. After doing some research I found the Cortez Barber Shop and decided to give it a try. Amy, the owner, was amazing. I told her exactly what I wanted which can be a little picky and stylish but she nailed it. We then spoke for a good ten minutes and got to know a little more about her and her business. Great person, great barber, just an overall great experience. Give her a try if youre ever in the area, youll really enjoy your experience.

We came here while on vacation. My son is very particular about his hair and was hesitant at first. Joy cut his hair perfecrly. We would not hesitate to come back again. I just want to give a shout out to Cortez Cafe which is next door and the fish market. All the businesses in the shopping center. We have visited and all are top notch.

Best hair cut in Bradenton/Sarasota. Ive been going to her for years. Amy does the hot shaving cream and Razor! If you have done this before you need to try it, They dont do hair cuts like these anymore.

What a rude person. Stared at me funny and ask if Im sure I have the right place. Very unexpecting as Im new here and read good reviews. No time to cut my hair but wouldnt tell me the best time to come. I feel like it has to do with me being a tattooed person, so it seems. Just my experience

One of the worst haircuts Ive ever had, she ruined my hairline. She makes decisions without asking, doesnt listen well and shes often too busy chatting to pay attention. She does not give a thorough cut. Wish I could rate this 0 stars.
