I am very satisfied with my haircut! Wrynn was very kind and courteous, and did an excellent job cutting my hair. They went above and beyond what I had expected and made my hard-to-manage hair far more manageable, and even gave me some recommendations for products I can use in the future. I will definitely be coming back for my next haircut!

This place is absolutely horrible!!! I will never come here again, the guy that cut my hair chopped me all up all uneven, he smelled like pure cigarettes and was very unprofessional, the minute I walked in the female hairdresser gave me a dirty look like I wasn’t even worth her time, I should not have paid for the chop job I received!! Lesson learned I will never set foot in a fantastic sams and I’m telling everyone I know never trust this business.

Jenna is top notch. First time in my life Ive made regular appointments with someone to cut my hair and actually look forward to it. She is great with kids too. Ownership should give her a raise or you are going to lose her!

Jess was terrific! So skilled and talented. I am extremely picky even though I have very short hair and he gave me exactly what I wanted. It looks so good! He also has a good sense of humor...so funny! I really hope he stays put so I can have him cut my hair forevermore.

It’s usually difficult to find a salon while on vacation but I did. I had a touch up and Melissa matched the color perfectly. I also had a haircut which turned out fantastic. The price was right too. The other stylists were turning out great cuts and colors as well !

In the past Ive had horrible experiences with hair stylist *my hair is still recovering from the last stylist from last year*. But it got desperate and I made an appointment with Jesi here at the FS on cortez and I couldnt be happier with the experience! He was so knowledgable and fun to talk to. He also listened to every concern and made sure I got exactly what I wanted! Ill definitely be returning to see Jesi in the future!

Uneven hair and even after I showed a picture of what I wanted it was still 4 shorter than what I wanted. Im so embarrassed to be out with this haircut and I work in the public daily. Its going to take months to grow back

I called ahead to bring my daughter here for a haircut and highlights for her 7th birthday and they said they had the time to take her. We got there and there was no one there. The stylist wasn’t very warm or welcoming and honestly a little stern with my daughter. She did a really good job with distributing the highlights, but she didn’t tone them, and shortly after we got there, her appointment arrived and she went back and forth and kept apologizing to the other client so much that I felt guilty for still wanting her her to blow dry. I also felt too guilty to mention it after paying and taking pictures, when I realized the cut was choppy and a full 2 inches shorter on one side. I can take her to fix the cut, and I can tone her hair myself, but I think she could have been a lot warmer to my daughter on her birthday, and not double booked herself to the point where she didn’t Inspect the haircut. My daughter is happy, and that’s all I wanted but all in all, affordable, but not impressed....

Very disappointed with service at this location. They are never available for walk ins. Scheduled an appointment for this afternoon and still could not get a haircut. Why schedule appointments if youre not going honor them. This is the last time I will come here.

Wrenn cut mine and my sister in laws hair. She was very nice and professional. Unfortunately, my haircut is very choppy and uneven and I didnt notice it until today (I got my hair cut yesterday) after I washed and blow dried it myself. Very disappointed as I paid $18 plus left a tip and now I have to go somewhere else to get my hair fixed.

The best place in all of bradenton to get your haircut! The prices here are hard to beat and so are the stylist! After moving I have been trying place after place and this is it!!!

Wrenn did my cut and color touch up. I told Wrenn when I sat in her chair that my hair will need to be straightened when shes done blowing it dry. Im satisfied with my color but very unsatisfied with my cut and style. When she was done with the wet cut, I told her it looked uneven and she said shed fix it when she was done drying it. When she was done, I asked her about straightening my hair and she said she didnt have time! I walked out of there with a frizzy, unstyled head of hair!

Had an appointment and was told it would still be 30-45min. Wait. Employee was rude and short.Posted a remark on their FB page and owner reached out to me. Was told a refund would be mailed to me and have yet to see it(8 days later) .Haircut was not worth the money and not the quality expected.Will not be back!!

Michelle not only gave me one of the best cuts and highlights ever she cut my daughters hair for the first time and did a beautiful job. Highly recommend!!!!!

Got a bad haircut, then was given a recut and its 10 times worse. Never again. It will take months before I can get it fixed. Everyone was very nice and the salons were very clean.

I love this place! Always friendly, Ive been super happy with every cut Ive gotten here. You can usually walk right in and get seen by someone but theyre really good at setting you up an appointment for later if you dont feel like waiting.

I prefer the other Fantastic Sams where Miszee works . The staff here are not that friendly and tell you what color she wants to color your hair instead of listening to what you want. Always slow and people walk out from the long waits . I would recommend the Fantastic Sams at Bayshore over this one.P.S. please dont write me back Fantastic Sams representative because I wrote a review about my experience at the other one and you never replied but have to everyone else who has wrote a review not right 😡👎.

Jenna took care of us and she truly is a professional stylist/colorist. She spent alot of time working on hair and it came out fantastic. Very patient and focused. We will be back for sure. Went in without an appointment to get a cut and color. Erica was nice enough to stay overtime to take care of me. What a wonderful job she did. I had been looking for two years in this area to find someone that could do a good job on my hair. I need to look no further. Thank you Erica, I will be back.

I went today with my 2 year old son and they did a wonderful job! They were all so friendly and were so good with my son! Tammy did my son and with as much as he was moving she did a great cut and didn’t get frustrated or upset at all that he wouldn’t stay still and Nickia A did my hair and did wonderful as well! She even washed my hair for free! 10/10 would recommend as I feel like every styalist was great esp Erika (with an h I think) who went above and beyond helping me with my son! Will be back and request one of those three!

My daughter and I came in at 3:00 pm on Sunday, we felt unwelcome like we were imposing on them rather than seeking a service. My daughter asked for her hair to be trimmed, the woman who cut her hair cut the back only and left hair all over her neck and clothes. I thought a trim means all over the head. Even if my daughter was unclear why wasnt I asked, after all I am paying? Oh I forgot to mention that my daughter is 13. I had a different stylist and she knew I was not happy with my daughters hair but she never asked if I wanted my kids hair fixed. My hair was ok but when I got home I noticed my hair was uneven, its about 3/4 inch shorter on one side. She charged $5 for my daughters hair, I would have preferred they fix her hair instead. I paid $28 including a tip. I am not satisfied but I will not go back because I know they dont care.

Do not ever go here!! My husband came home looking like dumb and dumber worst hair cut in the entire world!!!! A dog groomer could have done better! My best advice to you is DO NOT WALK through their door. Old blonde hair lady from Chicago do not let her near you...I think she got her barber license out of a Cracker Jack box! I give them a negative 5 stars

Hair cut was fine but this is the 2nd time Melissa did my blow dry & ended up frizzy again. Very nice lady but cant blow dry hair smooth and she really tried. Maybe more education would help .

Went here to get a hair cut and my eyebrows done. Eyebrows looked great, but this woman, sadly cant remember the name, said she couldnt cut my hair because I had lice and got disgusted. Later, with me freaking out because Ive never had it before, come to find out, I dont have any lice whatsoever. I will NEVER, EVER come back here again.

Please consider advertising that you stop certain services 3+ hours prior to close of business. It isnt very welcoming to be greeted with a heavy sigh and watch check upon entering. No appointment necessary, walk ins welcome...ha!

If I could put 0 I would . I originally went to Bayshore gardens and said I wanted a blonde ombre done and the stylist made almost all of my hair from root to bottom a COPPER bronze orange. Than after speaking to the manager she said to come back in to have it fixed BUT that I needed to pay another $50 for the fix than after that was not even done correctly I came back to have it fixed AGAIN at no charge only due to the stylist and it still looked horrible. Than texting the owner and showing her pictures she offered to add 5 foils of highlights for free. Really 5? When I just spent well over $160+ tips to have a horrible job. If you want a cheap hair cut and stylist that dont know what they are doing head on over to this salon otherwise BEWARE!! Im super upset and my hair is still horrible and now Im stuck with nothing I asked for and a horrible color in my hair. 😭

I recently had a shampoo, cut, blow dry there . I suffer with migraines disease and the shampoo was so relaxing, like a massage . I got a great cut and my hair was blow dried with a blow dryer and a brush which also felt very relaxing .

I went to get my hair trimmed and to get a side bang and Melissa is the one who cut my hair. She blowdried it and it was frizzy and my side bang came out horrible. I went to the other fantastic Sams on Bayshore Gardens and they fixed it! It looks so much better now. I will definitely be going to that one now.

UPDATE Nov 20th 2013: Went in today to get a touch up and ERICA and MICHELLE werent available, so I chanced it and went with SHANNON. She did a GREAT job as well! If you want color work done, ERICA, MICHELLE, or SHANNON are the ones to ask for! Great price too! Still happy with the results! Thanx! :-)May 2013: Went in my first time I was in for 5 hours and was NOT happy with the result of a color job I had done, but was discounted for the trouble and my time, so I decided to make the best of it and try and live with it. What possessed me to go back to get the root touch up done, Ill never know, BUT, I asked for a different stylist this time upon suggestion from someone else...WHAT A HUGE DIFFERENCE! After I explained my last experience and told her what I did and didnt want, ERICA was very up front and honest about the process (much more difficult and involved than I had realized) of what it would take to get my color correction done and what my costs would be. She said she would do her best with my budget and time limit. So, nervously, I trusted her and told her to proceed...still took 3 hours, but I LOOOVED the end result! My color was all well blended, and it was now blonde without looking brassy, banana yellow, or bleachy! By the time I left, I was so excited about how well she fixed it, I happily paid what I was charged and even left her a good tip! This girl didnt have much info as to what exactly was done that first visit, but she nailed the correction and gave me what I originally asked for the first time! I will definitely be back and will insist that Erica does my color!
