I had made an appointment for my son and the guy that was supposed to cut his hair wasnt there. At first the girl offered to cut his hair (I wish I got her name. She was very willing to do it)but my son gets designs so then Tony stepped up and offered to do it. Best idea ever. He was fast and the haircut was crisp with a sweet diamond he designed into his hair. Thank you so much guys for taking him in when you could have had us reschedule. We will be back and most definitely recommend Tony.

Got a cut from SVB today and couldnt be happier. I booked online super easy and kind of on a time crunch today so I hoped I would get in right away. My slot was open on arrival and went straight into a chair.I hate going to barbershop in the past because i never get the cut I want. Morgan listened to what I needed and got it right in a minimal amount of time. Morgan has serious skills and is also impressionable and easy to hold a conversation with.The vibe of SVB barbershop is super chill and welcoming. Was not the best experience. Call two hours in advance to make an appointment with Tony. Spoke to Tony and one of his student over the phone to confirm. When I got there, they told me Tony is booked and schedule the student to cut my hair. Not sure why they couldnt tell me this over the phone before I drove an hour to get there. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL

Feel like my cut was kinda rushed. It wasnt horrible, it just wasnt as good as it usually is.

I’ve had a hard time finding a barber for my son in Bradenton BUT I think this is the place. My son’s barber was Javier who did an amazing job. About the shop: What I liked: Clean- the barbers all wore masks and they had a big bottle of sanitizer, friendly- we were welcomed as soon as we walked on. I think 1st chair is the owner and he was in point in ensuring that we were taken cared of as soon as possible, I don’t have anything bad to say. About the barber(Javier): My son’s words: he’s friendly and he didn’t take a long time. When we walked outside he said “mom even my shadow looks good” We’ll definitely be back!

NEVER COMING BACKI went with a group of friends to get a cut and we all left disappointed and mad.I showed a picture and gave detailed instructions of my haircut, and the barber went and did his own thing. He tried to change how I style my hair after he cut it, when I showed him a picture and gave him detailed instructions of how I style my hair. Then after he finished the haircut I asked for a low fade because I didn’t like how my hair looked and he told me he wanted to go home and put the razor down. After that when I was about to pay the guy still asked for a tip and stood next to me while I was paying. The WORST experience I have ever had in a barber shop!

We get good haircuts here. Javier cuts my sons hair and does a good job. The atmosphere at the shop is chill and has a distinct Miami feel, even though we are in Sarasota. Prices are fair and guys are nice. Complementary water and coke in the fridge. Shopping center has food. Recommend making an appointment.

Not good for professional or conventional haircuts.The barber I saw, Javier, cut my sides shorter than I specified and gave me a slight fade that I didn’t ask for. I have a job interview this coming Tuesday that I want to look professional for. I made this clear at the beginning of our appointment. My concerns over my hair were brushed off. Not only was my haircut not what I was expecting, it wasnt what I NEEDED.Many clients were not wearing face masks at all, in the middle of the covid 19 pandemic, and the staff were not telling those clients to put on masks.I will not be coming back.

I have read the negative reviews and I find them hard to believe ...I have been coming here for a few years now and they have always taken care of me and they always greet people with a smile and try their best to get everyone what they need . These guys are patient and understanding. Do not let the negative reviews make you think otherwise. The reviews that state that they were not seen on time or they were rude is BS and these guys get very busy! So book your appointment ahead of time and dont be a walk in that thinks everyone should stop what they are doing to make sure you are taken care of ! Despite the reviews on here that say there are issues with this shop adhering to online booking, I booked an appointment for this morning online. Arrived on time to find that the barber I booked with wasnt there abd no one knew if he was coming in at all today. I responded that this was my first time in this shop and I would take any barber. The two gentlemen who did not have clients at the moment and no one waiting yelled back at the other barbers asking if anyone was open. No one seemed to reply. The gentleman then told me my barber I booked with had a family emergency today and the earliest I could get my haircut would be around 1230pm. Not one apology much less any welcoming as a new client. I am so disappointed by this place, I really thought I was going to a classy shop. That was not the case at all.

BEST shop in town! The staff is very professional like it should be. Booking is simple I always call a day ahead and never an issue.. Will gladly tip 20$The only issue Ive encountered was I brought my wife in for a massage multiple times unfortunately no one was able to take her. The guys were sorry and gave her the estheticians business card. My wife called and asked if it was possible to come in the same time as myself so she could be massaged during my haircut. She didnt seem very interested and said if she could make it to Sarasota she would be able to take her at the time she wanted but the drive was not worth it.Other than that great job SVB.

Made an appointment on the web site for 11:00 but when I arrived I found out that because a better appointment was there ( a 1 hr vs my 1/2 hr) my appointment was moved to 12:30. I was not aware that appointments were the descretion of the barber not the client silly me. Why bother with having a time if its whats best for the barber? This is the most basic service, an appointment that suits the clients timetable.Whats the point of choosing a time if it is not honored?I received a reply from the owner regarding my experience and he agreed that it was inappropriate to change my appointment and would look into it personally, along with offering a complimentary haircut to compensate me for my inconvenience. I appreciate the swift response from Joseph C. And realize that although problems often occur in business how we deal with them can be more important than the problem itself, and am pleased to say Ive been treated respectfully and fairly.
