I have been going to Kathy for over 10 years for shellac manicure and pedicure….She is the best. The salon is clean and beautiful! The staff is always very nice. I love they have a bar so I can enjoy a cocktail while getting pedicure!

My nails did not look professional at all. I could have done better myself. After asking how much nail to take off, she cut mine very short and that is not fixable. I paid $80 for a manicure/pedicure . It took her almost 2 hours and that was her changing gloves and washing her hands. That was not time spent with me. . She didn’t file my nails at all. She barely took off my previous shellac and put 1 layer of clear polish on top of that. . I’m very disappointed and will not be back. I hate complaining but this is not the first time my nails looked horrible after leaving. . I do also tip very well but this time I did not! The owner was very aware of this situation and did nothing. Next time, I will wait in line for modern nails. It’s worth the wait for someone else!!!

I am not originally from Bowling Green, but these people were super friendly to first-timers! They did an excellent job on both the manicure and pedicure and they pay attention to detail! I give them 5 stars all across the board and definitely recommend this place to anyone! Plus, they serve beverages to clients which is always a bonus!

Whoever the guy that did my nails, has awful customer service, he got on my nerves so bad talking to me about, how much the products cost, and how much the inventory is and so and and so forth, it was very hard for me to relax, the only reason I didn’t get up and leave, is because I had already sit there a hour, and I did not feel like driving to another nail salon. Also the price is to high for the quality of nails they do. He was trying to up charge me for everything. I will never go back there. He kept saying their products aren’t “cheap” .... like dude, are you serious right now? How unprofessional is that. It should be cheap, because you’re very unprofessional!!! It was one of the worse nail experiences of my life ... he got on my nerves so bad. All I could think of the whole time. Was I am never coming back !!!! High prices, but cheap quality, cheap service, and a cheap experience! The owner or whoever the guy was is a liar. I did not get upset or anything. That’s a lie !!! They were under staff and hardly anybody was even there !!! He was rude and very unprofessional, and his conversation was awful !!!

HORRIBLE. If I could give zero stars, I would. When We showed up, the man who was supposed to do our nails (I think his name was Johnny) greeted us and told us to wait there a moment, then disappeared. We waited in the front then we’re directed to the manicure section by a different staff member. We waited there for probably ten minutes, then he comes back and asks us what we want. I show him a picture of nails with very simple white chakra designs painted on, and he says he CANT DO DESIGNS? This is not mentioned anywhere in the shop or online. Then, my friend and I decide to do ombré instead. He leaves again and we wait another TWENTY minutes before he comes back. At this point he begins to do our nails normally, applying glue, acrylic tips, etc. He was very charming and funny, but it did nothing to better the service. After this, he tells us ombré would be 90 DOLLARS A PERSON. THIS IS WITHOUT DESIGNS, A VERY SIMPLE STYLE. We changed our minds at this point, opting for simple clear polish over the acrylic. Once that’s done he paints my friend’s nails and then ASKS ME IF I WANT ANY DESIGNS? WHEN HE SAID HE COULDNT DO THEM? HE THEN PROCEEDS TO SHOW US A PICTURE OF A GIRL WITH NAILS WITH SIMPLE LINES PAINTED ON THEM AND TELLS US SHE PAYED 130 FOR THEM. WHAT A SCAM. Our nails ended up being 60$ a PIECE. There was acrylic on our fingers as well as paint, dips and bubbles in the nails as well, uneven sides and tips. HORRIBLE. Once I took them off a week later, it turns out he’d used SUPER GLUE to glue the tips on, which tore off layer after LAYER of our nails. To add to this, it was just completely unprofessional that there was a bar located inside of the salon, and our tech was drinking some auburn looking liquid the entire time that he claimed was red bull.

I asked for coffin shaped nails. I got a weird hybrid between almond and coffin. My nails are crooked. The polish looks lumpy and bumpy. I also left with polish all over my fingers.

I asked for a full set with color dip powder. The sign stated 55 dollars. I paid 75 and never got them dipped and all nails were black. He used an acrylic with the powder(not the dipping powder) and liquid, and then started painting them with gel.... OK I thought maybe a different method, but nope just a full set with a gel polish. 75.00 the only thing I did different was have polish removed for 5 additional dollars. The point in the Dippin powder is durability and how long the stay on or dont break. That is why I love it. But the fact that he charged me for quality even though 75 is pushing it for a mediocre nail job is not ok. Be aware of getting over charged here.

My experience was okay. The woman and man who did my pedi and massage were kind and his massage was great. However when it was time for my pedi I sat there for 15 minutes while she finished on someone else’s toes who came in way after me. I didn’t get my nails done because how long I had to sit there- mani was done. Just needed the color. :/My friends pedicure was awful. (Diff persons) He didn’t cut her toenails even. Barely scrubbed the bottom of her feet. She Had clear gel nail polish all around her toes and then when confronted he refused to look closely at what he had done. Just said I didn’t do anything wrong.

I paid $65($55 +$10 tip) for a gel fill. Literally a few days later my nails began to lift and pop off. I tried to go back and get them fixed and was told to go talk to Johnny since he’s the one that did them. His response was “I did fill for you in the back, not the front” What?? What does that even mean?? There’s no reason why I should be sitting at another nail shop getting my nails fixed when I literally just spent $65 last week. I will NEVER return back to this location!!

Today was my first time going to luxury nails! They were very friendly and did an amazing job! I will diffidently be back!

Most horrible job on my nails ever. I got a full set and showed a pic of the polish I wanted. My nails aren’t smooth and they didn’t even completely cover my nails in polish. It honestly looked like a 5 year old did my nails. And I paid good money for this and was completely unsatisfied with the services here and will never be back and will let everyone I know about the experience.

I am highly disappointed, This place was recommended by multiple people but it did not live up to the hype. I got SNS done, Should last at lest 10 days. Im on day 3, Three days.....and the top coat is already peeling. come on really. last time I had SNS done at a different place in lexington...it lasted almost 2 months. see pictures below. just sad. i would not reccomend them

I visited this salon after my regular salon had already closed for the day and I really needed a refill before I left town and luckily they were able to book my appointment right away as a walk in.Pros:*The decor of the salon is beautiful and very relaxingThe pricing for the service is about what youd expect anywhere else in townCons:*There are only two ways to pay here: cash or Venmo. If you charge your card, it will be a $3 fee just to do so but there was nothing on the door when I walked in to let me know I would have to pay a service fee. And since I dont have a Venmo account or carry cash, this was very irritating to me.Overall, I left the salon slightly unsatisfied because after I had sat with my nails under the light for them to dry (I sat there for 20 minutes), I left to get into my car the polish on four of my fingers got rubbed on my clothes, leaving spots in the polish that looked rough.It wasnt the best experience but it wasnt the worst. I will just stick with my normal salon from now on.

This is the best nail salon I’ve been to, and I’ve been getting my nails done for years. Wow. Amazing, friendly, kind employees who make you feel welcome and the atmosphere is relaxing and beautiful. My nails look fantastic! I had a pedicure and my nails painted by Johnny! Lovely experience.

By far one of my worst experiences getting a pedicure. I would not recommend them to anybody!Me and my daughter went to get a pedicures and the girl that was doing my pedicure completely forgot the “sea salt foot soak” and then almost forgot the massage until the girl that was doing my daughters reminded her. I brung it up before I paid and the girl even told another worker she forgot to add it in then went on to say it just helps the cuticles and it don’t really do anything! First of all don’t advertise something and then not provide the product. 2nd of all you just said it helps the cuticles!!!!! And I won’t even get on the polish that my 6 year old could have done better!

Today I got acrylic nails with regular nail polish. I want to start off with the price I paid $45 which in my opinion is too much for just regular polished nails, because I can go to another nail salon and get the same nails for cheaper. Usually just a acrylic set is 25 they price there’s at 30. Adding to that I had to pay for the shape $5 which I would think would come with the acrylics price of 30 but it didn’t so In all you would have to pay 35 already which should already be added on because you’re obviously want to get a shape. Then I had to pay a extra $5 for the length and a Matt topcoat. I wasn’t sure the guy who did my nails but he made them very thick at first then when shaving off the tops he made my nails very thin, I’m scared to move anywhere, do anything without them breaking. On top of this he cut two of my fingers where they were both bleeding he did say sorry and was nice about it but didn’t ask to give me a discount or anything. Several of my fingers still have polish on my skin he did not remove. The sides of the acrylic are sticking to my skin where I had to peel them up. And I got coffin shape they look more like oval. And by the time my nails were done I had spent two hours getting my nails done for just a acrylic set. I used to recommend this place I went there once before no problems but now I’m very disappointed in my purchase today I wouldn’t recommend. I wish I could upload photos to show but it’s not giving me that option

Nail salons in Glasgow are never open on Sunday so I subjected to researching nail salons in bowling green instead. I came across many but this one stood out because of its rating and now I see why. Upon arrival i was greeted by a lady and the famous Johnny who offered me wine, mimosas, and a margarita. I said no simply because im not much of a drinker but WOW I was instantly shocked at that. Then after a short wait i asked question about a style of nail i wanted after looking at some on pinterest and the lady Kathy was extremely pleasant and patient with me. After changing my mind twice on the type of full set i wanted and changing the color like 4 times she was still thorough and made the experience amazing. We chit chated and i enjoyed my time. The staff are so friendly i felt right at home. It did cost more then your average fill in in Glasgow but TRUST ME its totallyyyyy worth it! After my experience and the quality work i received, i doubt ill go anywhere else. Ps. I didnt even realize it til she was done but Kathy is the owner lol total face palm moment. lol She is amazing along with her entire staff!

Me and my 4 year old daughter loves making time to go get our nails done and toes painted. When we went into this location no one was there other then the employees. We was seated at different areas to do our nails which was ok no big deal. But I started hearing my daughter cry, they went ahead and moved my 4 year old to the other side where she couldn’t see me and they got upset because she was crying. We went in together we wanted to be together!

The workers were really nice and a guy named Johnny did my nails and they looked amazing definitely gonna come back. Also this is her daughter because my phone broke.

Didnt shape my nails properly, cut them way shorter than I asked for, didnt paint my nails all the way, and left finger prints on my nails in the polish.

Their prices are outrageous, they are clearly posted everywhere though. They up charge you if you want a certain nail shape, maybe that is normal for some places but nowhere I have ever been. I asked for dip powder and received acrylic and was charged the dip powder price. The owner was late to open his own store and spoke very unprofessional about his drinking habits. There are other places very close by that are way better on the quality of the service, and on the price. The only reason I gave them two stars is they are the only place open on Sunday in the area.

I always go here to get my nails done and Jimmy is amazing but this last time I went to someone different and the very next day two of my acrylics came off so I came in today to get them fixed and the original girl who did my nails was out of town so they had to charge me to get my nails fixed and at first I was highly dissatisfied with the customer service I was receiving because I felt like they should’ve done them for free Because I’ve never had this issue before and how often I come to them to get my nails done. The owner who happened to be the person fixing my nails explained at first that he had to charge me because he was not the original person to do my nails and because she was out of town there was nothing he could do and he saw how dissatisfied I was he offered to give me a discount the next time I come in for my Fill and when the original nail tech was there and explained that she would have to be the one to give me the discount because I paid her for the original set but that he would make sure that it would happen when I came back to make up for today’s charge which turned my whole experience around. I always reefer my friends and family to this nail salon And I will continue to do so not only because of how well Jimmy always does my nail but also because of the owner offering to make my dissatisfied experience this last time right the next time I come in. So 5 stars for their services and customer service.

My first visit and was amazed. I told the guy Johnny I was going to a concert Brantley Gilbert and I wanted his initials on my fingers and he had never done this before but did an awesome job. I give them 5 stars and will definitely go back.

My mother and I went to Luxury Nails. I had an amazing time. I got acrylic nails with a gel paint, which they turn out fabulous. When I went to take them off we had a problem. The glue the lady used to apply to fake nails would not allow them to be removed from my real nails. When I went to get them removed another lady from a different salon, she said I have never seen another nail artist use this strong glue. It took them 2 hours to try and remove them, but they did not come off completely. In the end it damaged my real nails.

My sister and I went here for the 1st time and had pedicures. We were the only black customers. Very up to date and clean shop. Lynn did my pedicure, she and the tech who had my sister used gloves while doing our pedicures. However I noticed none of the other techs were using gloves with their customers. Then Lynn finished my pedicure very quickly and didnt pay much attention to the bottom of my feet. While waiting for my sister Lynn took another customer who happened to be a white woman and I noticed she didnt use gloves on this womans pedicure. I didnt like the difference in the service I received here and will not be back.

I moved down here from Detroit and I was leery about finding a new nail tech because I am pretty picky about my nails. I love this place! Johnny is the best. Hes quick and efficent. I never have to wait long and the staff is always nice. They take good care of you with refreshments, and comfy seats. I’ve been going here for 6 months and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I never leave here disappointed.

I have been going to Miss Nancy for 3 years now. Her work cannot be beat plus she is a very kind, friendly woman! Never feel awkward when she is working on my nails, great conversation. This salon was new for me a few months back as Nancy has not always worked here, I LOVE LUXURY NAILS. Beautiful salon, very open space, good decor, and well worth your money!

They were nice but we came in around 4:15pm they told us it would be a long wait which was fine but the lady that did my nails was ready to go so she rushed through doing mine. I asked for square and some are square some are round one finger even has both.. She was gone before my nails even dried! My daughters nails were done by someone else and theirs look good. Its 7pm and were still here! I paid at 6:03 thats when i got done but my kids werent done yet. And when we got there they should have just asked us to come back instead of asking us to come back an hour after we had already waited!

Found this place seven years ago before my wedding. They did the nails for all of my bridal party and gave us great rates. They have many highly skilled technicians and are locally owned and operated. They offer other services as well including facial waxing and eye lash extensions. Perfect for a walk in anytime!!

Went to get a pedicure on Sunday for my sisters birthday. We waited 30-40 min. before they got started and then waited even longer to get anything to drink at all. Pedicure didnt last 10 min. no hot towels at all! When asked if he could do the massage he said get your boyfriend to do it..... not professional. wont be going back again. wasnt worth 50$

I went here off all the good reviews thinking I was going to get an amazing acrylic set and beautiful nails but I was wayyy wrong I asked to get a fill in because it would be my first fill in with this full set and so I got regular polish I sat down and the guy told me I needed a new set and I had told him I just got that one just 2 weeks before and he said “new set you need new set” so i just said okay and so I picked out this color in REGULAR. Nail polish and he without asking put gel nail polish on and said “this will be 40 for the gel” and I told him I wanted regular nail polish for only 25 and he said “this gel is better” so I was just really frustrated at this point and was like whatever ya know and my nail was not on right so I pointed it out and he said “ oh well it will be okay” so at this point I was almost done with getting the nails done and in the end they looked awful was lumpy and uneven it is now a week later and I have an infection on my left pointer finger and 3 of my nails have popped off I will never be going here again a total waist of my time and money. Listen to the bad reviews this place has rude worker and very bad work. This don’t even deserve one star. NEVER GOING BACK!!!!

If you care about the quality of service, I do not recommend. I went in on a Sunday for powder dipping on my REAL nails & I had to file out rough sloppy edges at home, some of nails were uneven, powder dip was not cleaned up, repaired nail cracked after 3 days, one nail broke with in 1 day & I have since had to file down my real nails to start over with someone else. I was quoted one price with repairs when I walked in & then was charged different price when finished, when I called to complain the owner wanted to argue with me instead of resolve the issue. When paying $50+ you should expect above average work & to be appreciated as a customer which I received neither. *The salon was clean & everyone was very friendly and helpful except for the owner.*

I have gone to this salon a number of times, however this was my worst experience yet. Pedicure polish was not done properly, i returned to salon 2 days later, when I asked for polish to be redone they made me wait 45 minutes while no one acknowledged me and customers were going ahead of me. The owner said casually that I needed to let my pedicure dry the next time. I walked out and paid the extra money at another nail salon to redo my nails!! Btw after my pedicure was done, I got my eyebrows done and waited for my toenails to dry (that was a good 30-40 minutes)

I love the people there and they did a great job. Plus they have a full bar, waxing and hair services. This place is really turning in to an all in one experience. Johnny is great too. He is so funny!

Johnny was awesome! I live in Louisville most of the time but visit Bowling Green often and I am around the country in various cities all of the time... I have never been to a nail salon in BG before and literally just picked the closest one to my hotel with the best reviews and hoped for the best. I got quality service and quickly. Johnny shared a few things with me and seemed to have had a bad couple of days. Little did he know I have been fighting a few very hard battles of my own recently and his attitude was a welcomed blessing. Thanks Johnny for your work and I hope to see you again soon. Luxuary Nails was an amazing experience. My daughter and I went today and got full ins, a full set, and eyebrows waxed. We have never been there before amd they greeted us as if we lifetime customers. Its a beautiful place that makes you feel comfortable to be there. The wait wasnt long at all and all the employees we very friendly and the shop owner was extremely nice and very respectful. The worker named nancy is really rude we told her what we wanted and we we’re being very kind toward her but she never even smiled or listen to the things we asked. Right after she was done all she said was the price and she left without even drying the toe nails. When we pointed out the problems they were being very rude . I feel like they are very rude to people who don’t really speak english and they put those customers as a last priority. This is very disappointing because i know the owners once didn’t speak any english either. But things like this happen a lot but i won’t be coming to this place again.

Needed an appointment and this is not a place Ive ever been to. Kind of rude at first. Then paired me with a guy who was less than pleasant. My nails are thick and uneven. I had to ask him to shorten them and then they had points and rough places. Not pleased.

My wife has been going here for as long as I can remember. Lately some old man that works there huffs and puffs and jerks her arm around while doing her nails. Its also been painful and sub par. He seems so bothered while working. Im not sure whats going on with him but he has cost them a customer.

They didnt do the massage or scrub on my feet, no lotion on my feet for pedicure, was rushed. Didnt do my Stiletto nails right tohad to fix them and charged me $10 extra when it says $25. Would never come back. Brought 4 of us here. Waste of money

The salon itself I do not know about but the eyebrow person Sharma shes best of the best! The line though to see her was absolutely ridiculously long! Her work is good and worth it but if you have to be on a timed schedule it wouldnt be worth it!!!!!

I had great excitement walking into this place. I thought it would be fun and relaxing. A new place to start going instead of Glasgow. Boy was I wrong!! I explained very plainly I wanted my children to have a full set, not long and 2 colors. It was their day so I didn’t get mine done. I stepped outside to answer a call and BAMM add ons with charges! Never mind I told them plainly for each kid what I wanted. So the shape (no prices on the copy they showed them, just shapes) it wasn’t until they got to my 12 year old that I was called over there by my daughter to ask which one was pretty, then the one she pointed I said no because it was to long and they guy said “then no $10 extra” I said excuse me? He said these are extra $10. But yet no prices on the copy. I went to my other daughter and yep $10 extra shape, my other daughter wasn’t to that point yet once again no prices mentioned because I wanted to see how it was done, paper handed to her and asked for which shape she pointed all done no mention of extra $10. So I can’t really blame the kids how was they supposed to know no prices no where nor informed on the extra charge of just how they file your nail!!! Clearly underage and taken advantage of. I WILL not be back to this place and parents don’t look away even for a second or you will walk out with a huge bill of add ons EVEN THOUGH you told them EXACTLY what you wanted and it wasn’t done. My one daughter had glue under her nails it’s driving her crazy. NEVER AGAIN!

Johnny is best of Nails technician in bowling green . He super nice, friendly. Everyone need stop by his salon, please call request or make appointments with him so you have to wait, even though you have to wait . You will love it❤️

I read a lot of reviews about how wonderful the place was and all I saw was Johnny is the best. Well I made an appt with him. Why, Im not sure. I waited 30 min. He left me sitting twice for about 7 min each time. The beer they gave me was warm. And he didnt like me telling him how I wanted my nails. Finished product was o.k. but for 60 bucks he could have put lotion on my hands and massaged???!!! I will not be going back. If I do, it WONT be to Johnny!!!

I went in for a pedicure, I chose a more expensive one, my feet look the exact same as what they did when I came in, just with a different color toenail. Disappointed. Waste of time and money.
