Had a horrible experience unfortunately, just recently, because when this with ACE, they kept the place clean. At least cleaner. There weren’t any rodents, spiders maybe. Rodents definitely avoidable if they are on it like they say they are. Be sure to insure your stuff and sign up with THEIR insurance because they DO NOT take responsibility for anything. I’m not even sure they will even if you are on theirs. And I quote from their email from MP, “we offer storage specific property coverage to all of our tenants to provide that additional protection in the event that property loss is sustained.” So if you use your own insurance, because they do offer you the option to do so, basically they wash their hands, if something goes wrong. Quote from their email from MP, “Guardian is unable to provide you reimbursement for any losses being that our additional Protection Plan was declined at the time of rental.” So maybe don’t decline it and maybe they will help if you run into an issue. Maybe, I really don’t know and I’ve lost trust so do so at your own risk. Also seems like people may be living out of their storage units, possibly not staying the night but definitely eating there hence the rodent situation. Makes sense during hard pandemic times. But I wasn’t informed this was a possibility it may be happening. It seems incognito to me for them to not send a general letter or reminder that you shouldn’t store food or be living out of a storage unit. They should have been on it like they keep repeating they have, I never received a letter or reminder regarding this. I’ve been there a while and experienced this rodent issue just recently. For the price that they charge, you’d think this wouldn’t be an issue. They pride themselves on such high standards but they are not transparent, they inform you last minute of ‘repairs’ so you may or may not have access to your unit anyway. And they don’t offer dumpster service which is the least they could do. I trusted them with my belongings and they didn’t provide the experience they pride themselves on unfortunately. If their customer service wasn’t so much like ‘who cares’ my review may have been different but that would be me not being transparent. This is my experience and I’m telling it like it is. Still grateful but super disappointed my experience went downhill. Have since given them notice to vacate. Hopefully this helps in helping Guardian Storage be more transparent with everything and having more empathy with tenants from the beginning. After all, paying tenants are their paychecks, right? Be transparent with your tenants. You’ll be more successful… just saying.

Great customer service. My lock had accidentally been cut off when the door was replaced and the staff in the office replaced the lock without question. I am impressed. The unit was fine, no leaks, rodents, etc. so my personal effects were in good shape after being in storage for over a year. I would use them again.
Very clean property with amazing customer service. They are always helpful and respectful. Great rates and deals as well! I love that there are 2 entrances so there is never traffic getting in and plenty of paths so you can get any vehicle or truck in!
This one has some tight turns in a box truck but its never very crowded and the staff is always super friendly.

Terrible. Terrible. Arrived to unload into new space only to find that unit was 2’ off the ground with no steps. Total waste of time!

Overall a very high quality storage facility. Safe and secure. Wish they allowed entry a little later into the evening, but thats a minor concern.
Best storage option in Boulder. All staff are helpful and friendly, prices are either the best or good depending on size. Discounts for paying up front for year rental. Good communication with customers.
ACE worked out great for me. Very simple, very professional, very friendly. They even credited me my last month when I moved out the day my payment auto-renewed having erroneously believed I still had a few days. Very nice customer service.
I rented two units for a year and 1/2. They managed to get me two right next to each other. They were friendly and available whenever I needed anything. I had easy access to my stuff and it was not damaged at all in the 2013 flood. The unit was clean. When I moved out of the first unit they credited the partial month payment to my other unit. I didnt have to give a months notice to move out. They were GREAT.
I rented a storage unit at Ace for 14-15 years, and never had any problems with it. Access is available any time (?) using a PIN number to open the security gate. (Another user wrote that you cant get in after 9 PM; maybe I never tried it that late.) Rent increases were modest, amounting to about 2% per year. My unit was on the higher ground, and safe from the worst-ever flood of 2013; some of the lower units were affected.

Really friendly service and a clean space. The only downside is that they wont prorate a month. I dont know if this is the usual practice in the industry.

I stored my things here for a year. Mice destroyed about 50% of my things, they chewed everything and there was feces and urine all over the place. I couldnt put the damaged things in my car because I didnt want to contaminate my car, so I did what anyone would do, put my things in the Ace Self Storage dumpster. Some dude who has a shop inside the gate - weird right? - got angry at me, then ten minutes later I got literally mugged by the same dude and the office lady wearing an Ace Self Storage shirt for $50 for using the dumpster. This place might be the cheapest in North Boulder, but the people are sketchy and there is no trash can.
All was easy and quick! No issues, great space. Love that Uhaul is right across the street because that saved on mileage for moving costs.
Such a great and helpful place. It was the cheapest in town and provided excellent and friendly service. Was just an all around super easy and awesome time.
Friendly, hassle-free, secure, clean, and best price I could find in Boulder. I kept everything I owned in a storage unit here for 4 months and I definitely recommend Ace. No corporate feel or confusing website like some other places, just a friendly locally-owned business.
Ace Storage seemed to be a good place to store belonging. Were very reasonably priced, convenient. The staff seemed friendly and trust worthy. Until suspious lock out on my unit today. Suspicious of a so called employee who was a vagarant. Who helps on a voluntary basis to help open locked out storage units. 6 months later wants paid $20.00. A law suit will filed against them.

Storage was ok, but now this storage and the area have gotten very pricey. Unfortunately have to move to another storage company.
They overbooked, even though we had a reservation, made us wait an hour just to say that we should book a storage unit somewhere else.
